Dark Room :

It was a small room completely covered in dark. A table and a chair can be seen. He was sitting or more like lying there, unconscious. He was on the chair with his head on the table. His face was covered with sweat and showed expressions of pain, sadness, guilt, gloominess, sorrowful and what not. He was not looking like the person we know. He looked totally changed, devastated and broken. Though, he was unconscious but his eyes moved a little, may be because he was having a nightmare or maybe no nightmare but the dreams were reminding him of the sin, he committed some hours ago.

He was wearing a blue-white striped shirt which was covered with blood at some places. His blue jeans also had traces of blood and dirt. Blood was oozing out from the corner of his forehead too. His hands were all covered with blood and it is then when we notice they are handcuffed. He moaned a little in pain. It seems like, he was trying to open his eyes to escape from those haunting dreams but they were not cooperating.

The door of the room opened and some light falls upon him, disturbing him more in his sleep. Daya enters and scans him to confirm that his buddy is still drowsy. He was feeling sorry for him. He felt like his whole world shattered when he was ordered to handcuff him. He wanted to stand by him, help him in the best way he can but he was helpless infront of his senior. He feared what will his buddy do when he wakes up and remembers everything. He knew that his buddy always consider himself guilty for everything that happens to the love of his life because of him, even if it is a small hurt. And this time ? What did he do ? No, He can't see his buddy, his brother, his soul, broken. He knows that with time everything will get fine on its own but going through that time phase will be difficult for him. But Whatever happens He will be always there for him, to handle him and to make him understand that everything that happened was all fate. He fairs his hands on his buddy's head and then leaves from their closing the door towards where acp sir is waiting for him.

Bureau :

Everyone and everything was silent. The team, Acp sir, Dr.Salunkhe, Freddy, Purvi, Pankaj, Sachin, Nikhil, all were standing there quietly until daya arrives and joins them. Looks like Everyone was still recovering from the shock they got, a few hours ago. Acp looked towards daya and he signalled him in No, indicating that Abhijeet has still not gained consciousness.

Daya : Sir, Hume Abhijeet ke iss halat ka jimmedar jo bhi hai usse pakadna hoga. Main usse aise nahi dekh sakta. (In anger) Ek baar wo gunhegaar mere samne aa jaye, main uski gardan tod dunga.

Acp : Aise gussa karne se kaam nahi chalega daya. Soch samjhkar kaam lena hai hume. Ye sab ke peeche jo bhi hai wo bada hi shaatir aadmi hai.

Salunkhe : Pradyuman, maine tumhe pehle hi warn kiya tha. Ab itna sab ho gaya aur phir bhi sochna hai tumhe ?

Acp : Mujhe pata hai Salunkhe aur main apni galti maanta hun lekin tu hi aise bolega to kaise kaam chalega. Aise tootne se kaam nahi chalega. Main janta hun tu iss waqt sahi halat mein nahi hai. Ek kaam kar tu ghar jaa aur aaram kar.

Salunkhe : Nahi pradyuman, Main kahin nahin jane wala. Main unn gunhegaaro ko jab tak pakadwa nahi deta tab tak chain se nahi baithne wala.

Daya : Sir aap logo ko pehle se pata tha ye tony ke baare mein ?

Acp : Daya, Jab pehli baar Abhijeet ko tony banaya gaya tha tab hume Doctor ne bataya tha ki ye tony ab Abhijeet ki personality ka hissa ban gaya hai aur ye kabhi bhi kahin bhi bahar aa sakta hai.

Salunkhe : Aur Kuch din pehle Abhijeet ke ajeeb behaviour dekh kar pradyuman ko warn bhi kiya tha iss baare mein par usne meri baat ko nazarandaz kardiya tha.

Acp : Nazarandaz nahi kiya tha. Bas maine ye kaha tha ki aise hum bina saboot ke kisi bhi baat par vishwas nahi kar sakte.

Daya : Sir aap logo ko Pehle se sab pata tha aur mujhe aapne batane ka jaruri bhi nahi samjha ? Kya main abhijeet ka kuch nahi lagta ? Kya mujhe haq nahi hai uske baare mein janne ka ?

Salunkhe : Daya hum tumhe pareshan nahi karna chahte the. Tum pehle hi bohot Pareshan rehte ho Abhijeet ko lekar. Hum tumhe batane hi wale the ek baar ye baat confirm karke.

Daya : Lekin doctor sahab agar aapne mujhe ye sab pehle hi bata diya hota to itna sab nahi hota na. Aapne ye thik nahi kiya sir (he was on the verge of crying)

Acp : Daya tum...

Freddy : Daya sir ab jo ho gaya wo ho gaya. iss waqt hume unn logo ko pakdne ke baare mein sochna chahiye, isse pehle ki bohot der ho jaye.

Purvi : Lekin sir, hum Unn logo ka pata kaise lagayenge ?

Daya : Sir uss samay Abhijeet ko jo phone aaya tha. Hum uss call ko trace karte hai. Even wo phone jo abhijeet ke paas tha wo bhi abhijeet ka nahi tha. Shayad usse kuch pata chal jaye.

Acp : Acha ? Kahan hai wo phone ?

Sachin : Sir wo to shayad Abhijeet sir ke paas hi hai...

Acp (shocked) : Kya ? Aur agar wapas uspe koi phone aata aur tony jaag jata to ?

Freddy : Sir wo uss samay, sab kuch itna jaldi jaldi hua, Dr. Tarika...Usme dhyaan hi nahi raha. Sorry sir.

Acp : Thik hai thik hai...Pankaj jao jaakar lekar aao phone.

Pankaj(scared) : Sir main ?

Acp : Pankaj tunhara hi naam hai na ? Tumko koi problem hai ?

Pankaj : Haan...Nahi...par wo tony...(Acp glared at him) okay sir main laata hun. (He leaves from there and after a few minutes, comes back) Sir ye raha phone.

Acp : Hmm... (Ordering) Purvi tum aur pankaj mil kar ye phone calls ka pata lagao. Salunkhe tu freddy ke saath jaakar apni jaanch shuru kar. Aur daya tum mere saath aao, tumhara wo khabri, wo jungle area aur uss ghar ke baare mein pata lagaya tha na usko bulao. Dekhte hai aur kya-kya janta hai.

Everyone nods and gets to their work. A few hours pass. The Rain outside has stopped now but the darkness still remains as the night is approaching. Purvi and pankaj were successful in tracing the calls. They were made from a PCO, situated a few kilometres ahead from the jungle area, from where tarika was kidnapped. Daya was sure from the very start that something is wrong with that jungle and now the whole team has become suspicious about it. The team succeeded in catching Munna and his one other man and they are now taken for further interrogation.

Daya (angrily) : Bata kon hai tera boss ? Aur kyun kar raha hai wo ye sab ?

Munna (smirking) : Main kuch nahi batane wala. Chahe tum log kuch bhi karlo.

Daya : Dekh chup-chap jo janta hai bata de warna mera dimag ghum gaya na to mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.

Munna : Aisi dhamki se to bache darte honge, main nahi. Tu mera kuch nahi bigad sakta. (He laughs).

Acp : Daya, Iski khatir daari karo thodi, aise nahi manega ye.

Daya nods and slaps munna so hardly that even blood comes out from his lips and his cheek got red and blue in a moment of time. Pankaj and Freddy knew that this angry avatar of daya was obvious seeing Abhijeet's current condition but they couldn't help getting scared. Munna, on the other hand, didn't seemed affected by this. Instead he just smiled wickedly at them.

Munna : Bas itna hi kar sakte ho tum log. (He laughs) Bas itna hi...Isse jyada kuch nahi..hahaha...dekha tumhari wo doctor ke saath kya hua ? Abhi to bohot kuch hoga aur jaise ab kuch nahi karpaye aage bhi kuch nahi kar paoge. Mera boss jo karne wala hai na wo tum log soch bhi nahi sakte.

Daya, being hell angry on his this behaviour, grabs him by his neck. He slapped him hard once again but the smile on his face still didn't fade away.

Daya : Dekh teri wajah se abhijeet ka aisa haal hai. Apni jaan pyaari haj to bata de warna main tera yahi kaam khatam kar dunga. Tere boss ko to hum vaise bhi pakad lenge.

Suddenly, Munna starts coughing and so daya leaves him. He gasps for breath and then fall down unconscious. Some sort of foam comes out from his mouth. Dr. Salunkhe goes to check him and nods in No saying that he is no more.

Acp(shocked) : Daya ye tumne kya kiya ?

Daya : Sir, maine kuch nahi...

Salunkhe : Daya ki koi galti nahi hai. Isko jehar diya gaya tha. Ye bohot hi slow poison tha jo 4-5 ghante mein kaam karta hai.

Purvi : Sir, Iska matlab inn logo ko pehle se hi pata chal gaya tha ki hum log inhe pakadne wale hai isliye inko pehle hi zehar de diya gaya.

Acp : Haan. Hamari saari harkato pe nazar rakhi huyi hai.

Daya : Matlab ke sir wo dusra aadmi..

They all ran to the cell where the other man was kept and found him lying on the floor. Daya checks him and confirms that he is no more. In frustation of not getting any clue, Daya hits his fist hard on the wall behind him.

Daya (angrily) : Shit !!

Freddy : Daya sir aap gussa mat hoiye...

Daya(loudly) : To kya karun main freddy. Itni mushkilo se ye log pakad mein aaye the. Wahan Abhijeet ko abhi tak hosh nahi aaya hai aur aayga bhi to pata nahi kya hoga. Kya karega wo. Samajh mein nahi aa raha ab kare to kare kya.

Acp : Daya tum aise himmat mat haro. Humare paas abhi bhi chance hai. Hum kal wo jungle mein jaakar investigation karenge. Wahan kuch to jarur milega. Aur abhijeet ko bhi jald hi hosh aa jayga. Agar usko kuch bhi yaad hua to hamara kaam aur aasaan ho jayega. Humare haath se aaj tak koi bhi criminal nahi bacha hai. Aur iss baar bhi nahi bachega...

Suddenly, they hears a loud scream coming from the room where Abhijeet is kept confirming the fact that abhijeet has gained consciousness and probably he remembers what happened.

Abhijeet (screaming) : Tarikaaaa...!!!

A/N : Sorry abhirikans :-P but before you shoot daggers at me, remember "khatam hogi nahi mitke, kahani ye kabhi jana.." ? Okay So, on a serious note I totally have gotten lost with the story. The thing I wanted to show at some point is not coming out and I don't know how this is actually going. I won't discontinue the story as I hate leaving works in between but I'm planning to end this soon. Umm, okay not so soon but yeah soon ′_′ (lol, I'm confused here too) Hehe...I think I should limit myself to one or two shots only, This is not my thing.
