A/N

I am working on multiple stories at once so updates will be random. I don't plan to give up on any of the stories I start. I will say this once but it carries over to every chapter. I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn or the characters, the only thing that is mine is any OC I make and the story line.

Betrayed

Tsuna pov

My name is Sawada Tsunahime. I'm 12 years old and I just found out my guardians betrayed me. Standing in front of me holding a file filled with reports was Hibari. He just brought them to me and told me about how everyone wants to betray me. The only ones not trying to betray me are Lambo, Hibari, and Mukuro. It made me want to cry, but I didn't as Reborn said bosses don't cry.

"Thank you for telling me Hibari-san," I said voice wavering.

"Omnivore. Not your fault," Hibari said. I just nodded and looked down sadly.

"Omnivore. Omnivore. Not your. Not your," Hibird chirped.

"Thanks Hibari-san, Hibird," I said sadly. I bowed and walked out of the reception room. Once I made it outside of the school it started to rain and I just looked up and sighed. I let the rain fall on me and continued to walk home. The rain matched my mood. Halfway there I suddenly felt the rain stop hitting me. I looked up and saw an indigo umbrella over my head. I looked back to see Mukuro and Mukurowl. Murkuro had recently been released from the Vindice.

"Mukuro what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I heard from a little birdy that you were walking home alone and that you found out about the others," Mukuro said looking down at me.

"Ah thanks," I said sadly. Mukuro stood next to me and I continued walking home not saying anything, just holding the umbrella. When we got to my house Mukuro looked around at everything.

"Where's everyone?" Mukuro asked.

"Mama, Bianchi, and I-pin are taking a girls week at a spa," I mumbled.

"What about you?"

"I have school and didn't want to go."

"What about the others?"

"Fuuta had to go to Italy because Nono needed a ranking and Lambo went to Italy with him, apparently there's a grape candy that he can only get there." I smiled a little at that.

"What about the baby?" Murkuro and Hibari both still call Reborn a baby even though he has his adult form back.

"He got a job he had to take. Couldn't avoid it."

"Hmmm. When should they be back?"

"Mama and the boys should be back in a week. I don't know when Reborn will be back." We stood there in silence for a while in the doorway. We just stood there and I watched Mukurowl looked around just like his master a second ago.

"Mukuro?" I asked.

"Hmmm," Mukuro hummed.

"Are you going to leave me?" I asked, my voice broken. I saw Mukuro turn and look at me, his eyes soft. He held on my shoulders looking me in the eyes.

"No never. You are the only good thing in this cursed world," Mukuro said vehemently. I looked at him and then burst into tears. I started to cry and couldn't stop crying. I felt Mukuro pull me to his chest and hold me tight. I held onto his shirt and cried and cried.

Mukuro Pov

I held Tsunahime as she cried herself to sleep in my arms. I watched as the umbrella I used turned back into my trident. As Tsuna had cried I watched her spirit break through her eyes. I knew her finding out that those people betrayed her would seriously hurt her and I told the Skylark that telling her was a bad idea. But he thought her not knowing would hurt her even more. So he went behind my back, the one time I wasn't watching, and told her. And now there's nothing more I want to do than kill him for that. But I knew that wouldn't help Tsuna, it'd just hurt her even more. I picked her up and carried her to the living room laying her down on the bed. Once that was done I walked out into the hall and pulled out my phone.

I pressed the speed dial number 5 and I placed it to my ear waiting as it ringed. I heard it click signifying it was answered.

"What?" I heard Reborn growl. I knew he'd be angry. I'd interrupted his Hit.

"Tsuna's been betrayed," I said simply.

"Talk mist," Reborn growled.

"Tsuna's rain, sun, storm, and the other half of the mist guardian has betrayed her," I said.

"What," Reborn growled. I could tell he was getting pissed off.

"You heard me. They betrayed her," I repeated.

"I'm calling everyone back, you stay with her until we get back," Reborn said. Before I could reply Reborn hung up on me. I sighed, shaking my head. I didn't need to be ordered to stay with Tsuna. I looked in and saw Tsuna was still asleep. I closed the door and I then heard a knock at the front door.

"Who could that be?" I mumbled. When I reached the front door I grabbed my trident and opened the door ready to attack whoever was there. Standing there with a smile on his face was Byakuran with the few guardians he had at the moment.

"Hello," Byakuran sang.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, trident ready to attack if provoked. I might not even need the provocation.

"Yuni saw what was happening so I hopped on a plane and came here right away," Byakuran said, his eyes hard.

"Well, leave. I'll be able to take care of Tsuna myself," I growled. Byakuran's smile got sharper. And I tried to close the door, but he stopped me.

"No now let me in," Byakuran said. I glared, but opened the door fully to let them in.

"How'd you know?" I asked, scowling.

"It's one of the few things that's the same in most universes. I thought I'd better be safe than sorry. Especially when Yuni told me that Tsuna would be breaking down," Byakuran said walking to the living room. He headed straight to the couch looking down at Tsuna

"The same?"

"Well almost the same. The only thing that changes is who betrays her, how they betray her, and how she finds out." Byakuran lightly tranced her face with one of his fingers/

"What would have happened if Birdy didn't tell her?" I needed another reason not to kill him.

"Then she would have been seriously hurt. Some assassins would have got to her and you two would be just in time to save her life." I clenched my fists now kind of glad the Skylark told Tsuna. Not that I'd tell him that.

"And after that." I didn't really want to know.

"She would have broken worse than now. Always afraid. Not willing to make new bonds. Her flames would have teared her apart."

"Why?"

"Because she is the strongest sky. Without those bonds her flames will be unstable. And because of that she would kill herself."

I clenched my fists. I really wanted to kill those traitors now. This was worse than I imagined.

"Will she be alright?" Byakuran shrugged.

"I can't see into the future that's, Yuni's power. What I can tell you is with just you and the Skylark will only be able to stabilize her flames for a month at most. She needs a full set. Maybe even more now because of this."

My fists tightened. How was I supposed to help and protect her now. Her own flames will kill her if she doesn't make more bonds and I'm not sure that she will. I looked over at her face. Troubled even in her sleep. All I could do is protect her now and hope for the best.
