Never Be Nervous Around Family

Rachel smiled as she, Cetus, and Zeus appeared at Plumber HQ. "That never gets old," she said.

"Indeed," the cloaked Celestialsapien said with a smile. "I have no doubt your man will be surprised by your visit."

The young woman giggled as they headed for Rook's office and Zeus kindly teleported Rachel in, to which she snuck around as she saw her fiancée had his back to her and was putting some files away.

Rook sighed as he turned back to his chair and sat down, feeling a bit tired as he turned the chair around to face his desk. "Hey, handsome," he heard someone say and nearly jumped out of his skin, grabbing for his Proto-Tool until he saw it was his fiancée and she was sitting on his desk with a loving smile. He let out a sigh of relief.

"You surprised me, my love," he said, smiling at her as he drew closer. To his surprise, she got off the desk and came closer, straddling his lap so that she was facing him. Smiling, she leaned closer and hugged him.

"How about a small break, handsome?" She suggested. "Relax and kiss me."

He smiled at her. "Gladly," he said before pulling her into a French kiss, making her moan in pleasure as he held her closer, still kissing her soundly, moaning in pleasure as she managed to get the top part of his armor off and was massaging his shoulders. "My love, what if someone walks in?"

Without looking, she reached for his desk and pressed a button that would lock the door and soundproof the room. "There," she said, massaging his shoulders. "Now I have you all to myself."

He smirked at her playful tone. "Correction. I have you to myself now," he said, standing up as she held onto him and he carried her to couch in his office, laying her down on it before he lavished loving kisses all over her neck, making her let out a pleased moan before she beckoned him closer and he picked her up again, moving so that he was laying down and she was laying on him. "Oh, yes," he said with a smile as he rubbed her back. "I definitely needed a break."

Rachel smiled. "Then let me help you, handsome," she said, kissing him before massaging his chest, making him melt under her touch as they continued kissing and he rubbed her back, feeling like the luckiest man in the universe.

Meanwhile...

Zeus chuckled as he and Cetus walked down the hallway. "I think Rook was surprised," he said to his friend.

"Oh, he was indeed," the cloaked Celestialsapien said with a chuckle. "I caught his thoughts before we left and he's very happy she's there to help him relax."

"They are a good match," Zeus nodded before pausing and motioning Cetus to pause as well. Both stood still and listened as a voice reached them.

"Men, there's been some major issues in other parts of the galaxy," came a voice and the two gazed in silently to see a Splixson speaking with a group of other Splixsons. "This mission may be fatal, but I have accepted the mission because this team is the most qualified to handle the issues."

"We'll do whatever we can, sir," said one of the crew.

"Thank you," he said with a smile. "It's not going to be easy though, men."

"It never is easy," said another. "But we took the oath to help others when we became Plumbers and we're not going back on that oath."

Cetus did a mind scan of the mission Splix was talking about and looked at Zeus. "It's too dangerous," he said. "He and his crew could be killed."

The green-and-white eyed Celestialsapien nodded. "Wait until his crew leaves, and then we'll see about intervening," he said. "He's certainly brave to want to do this mission, but there's too much at stake."

The two became invisible and watched as the team left moments later to go get ready for the mission that would be the very next morning. "Now's our chance," Cetus said to his friend, who nodded and both entered the meeting room that was now empty save for Splix.

"I'll have to make sure I kiss my fiancée and hug her when I get home and hug my daughter too," the Splixson said as he had a feeling the mission would be fatal.

"I'm sorry, Splix," came an unfamiliar voice and he whirled around to come face to face with two Celestialsapiens. One look at the gold bands on their arms and dual-colored eyes told him he was looking at two of the highest Celestialsapiens of the Courts.

"We can't let you go on that mission that could mean your life," the cloaked Celestialsapien said.

Splix swallowed hard as he was in shock at meeting two very powerful Celestialsapiens, especially two he'd had never met before. He tried to remain calm. "W-What do you mean?" He asked. "My team and I have to go. We're the most qualified to handle the situation."

"We don't doubt that, Splix," said Zeus, revealing he had been the one to first speak to the smaller alien. "But there is too great of a chance that you will not make it if you do go."

"Heaven and Angel would be heartbroken if anything happened to you," Cetus said.

Splix nodded as he knew that was true. "I know, but...I have to go. It's my duty as a Plumber and I've already accepted the mission," he said before looking away. "Still...I will miss my fiancée and my daughter."

"Then don't go, Splix," Zeus said gently before he noticed something.

The whole time Splix had been talking to them, he had been trying to remain calm, but his nervousness at meeting them and being in the presence of two powerful aliens was obvious. He smiled as he had an idea. "Cetus," the green-and-white eyed alien said. "Perhaps we should show Splix he has nothing to be nervous about."

"I agree, Zeus," said the cloaked being as they looked at Splix. "Let's see if we can loosen him up."

Now Splix was more nervous, especially when he saw the mischievous sparkle in the Celestialsapiens' eyes. Swallowing hard, he quickly turned to run, but Cetus waved a hand and not only locked the door, but soundproofed the room. When the Splixson tried the door, he found it locked and grew nervous as he turned to face the two that were coming towards him with hands outstretched to catch him.

"Come here, little Splixson," Zeus cooed teasingly.

Splix dove to the side and tried to put some distance between himself and them, but they were undetered. "You're not getting away from us that easily," Cetus said with a chuckle.

The small alien quickly dove to the side again, only to stumble as he tripped over his feet a little. He quickly tried to correct his balance, but before he could, four white hands caught him as two black arms wrapped around him in a gentle bear hug and an arm wrapped around his ankles. He struggled to get free of the two, but they were too strong.

"Now, now, don't struggle, Splix," Zeus said with a chuckle as both powerful aliens sat down on the floor. "Cetus and I won't hurt you."

"We just want you to relax," said Cetus. "We noticed you're nervous around us, but you don't have to be."

"And to prove it," the green-and-white eyed Celestialsapien said with a chuckle. "We're going to tickle you."

Splix squirmed harder now, but began giggling as Cetus carefully ran a finger over one of the small alien's feet. "Hmm, looks like he's got sensitive feet," the cloaked being said with a chuckle as he now tickled both feet with all five fingers of his left hand.

Splix's giggles turned into laughter. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed out. "NOHOHOHO! STOHOHOHOHOHOHOP!"

Zeus chuckled. "Not yet, Splix," he said teasingly, gently prodding the smaller alien's sides with his fingers, making Splix squirm even harder now.

"Cootchie, cootchie, coo!" Cetus cooed as he tickled Splix's feet faster, chuckling as the alien squirmed around while laughing. "Hmm, he must have a spot that makes him go nuts with laughter."

"Let's see," Zeus said as he moved one hand and tickled their captive's stomach, making his laughter grow. "Well, his stomach is a major spot, that's for certain." He then tickled Splix's underarms, but the smaller alien's laughter stayed where it was. On a hunch, the green-and-white eyed Celestialsapien gently pushed Splix forward a little and wiggled the fingers of his left hand into the smaller alien's shoulder blades.

Splix's eyes widened as a squeal escaped him and he actually managed to break free of the two and jump away from them, but as he did, both Celestialsapiens stood up and were ready to catch him again. "Well, well, looks like you found his tickle spot, old friend," Cetus said with a chuckle.

"It seems so," Zeus said with a chuckle as Splix took off to the left with the two hot on his trail. Desperate, the small alien dove under the desk, but before he could crawl to safety, two hands grabbed his ankles and gently tugged him back to the two aliens behind him and fingers wiggled into his shoulder blades and feet, making him squeal with laughter and struggle, but the two had him this time.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed out, trying to get free.

"Cootchie, cootchie, coo!" Zeus cooed.

"Who's a ticklish little Splixson?" Cetus asked teasingly.

"AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! DOHOHOHOHOHOHON'T DOHOHOHOHOHO THAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAT!" Splix pleaded.

"Don't do what? Tease you?" Zeus asked with a chuckle. "But it makes you laugh."

"Bet he can't stand raspberries," Cetus said with a smile.

"Let's test that theory," his friend said.

Splix squealed and tried to squirm away as the two gently turned him over onto his back and Cetus made sure he had a good grip on Splix's ankles, keeping him in place. "He's all yours, old friend," he said.

Chuckling, the green-and-white eyed Celestialsapien gently caught Splix's wrists in one hand and gently pinned them over the small alien's head before taking a deep breath and blowing a giant raspberry into the exposed stomach.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Splix laughed, arching his back to try and escape, but couldn't. "PLEAHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEASE!"

The Celestialsapiens chuckled. "Alright," Zeus agreed as they let him up, seeing the small alien was a bit tired. "Although, are you still nervous around us?"

Splix weakly went to sit up and Cetus helped him. "Hard to be when someone tickles you to pieces," he said without heat.

Cetus chuckled. "That is true," he said before his hands glowed white, helping the Splixson to recover. "Splix, that mission is a dangerous one. Why don't you let Alien X and his team handle it?"

"But...I already accepted the mission," Splix said.

"No worries," Zeus said. "I just spoke with Magister Tennyson and he agreed to have your team do a less dangerous mission."

The small alien looked at them. "You guys don't even know me, yet you were concerned about me," he said. "Why is that?"

"We are always concerned about our family, Splix," Cetus said. "And you are a big part of our family."

Splix had to smile. "Thanks," he said.

"Anytime," Zeus said. "By the way, your mission is in the morning. You have some time to spend with your girl and your daughter before you go."

The Splixson smiled bigger at that as he thought of his lovely fiancée and his daughter. "Come," Cetus said. "Let's go get Rachel and Rook. I believe that boy could use a break too."

Splix checked the time. "Actually, his shift ended about ten minutes ago," he said as they headed down the hall to Rook's office.

Inside, Rachel was smiling at Rook as she leaned on his chest as he gazed up at her. "You always make a stressful day go away, my love," the Revonnahgander said to her, playing gently with the hem of her shirt as his hands rested on her back.

"I'm glad I do, handsome," she said. "And you have the next three days off, right?"

"Yes," he said.

"Good, because you're not going anywhere, mister," she said teasingly with a giggle.

He cocked an eyebrow at her. "Oh? Is my lady feeling mischievous?" He asked, tickling her sides playfully, making her giggle louder before she gave him a French kiss and he returned it, holding her close.

A knock at the door startled them and Rachel gasped, clinging to Rook, who wrapped his arms protectively around her before realizing someone was at the door. With a sigh of relief, he rubbed his fiancée's back as she took a calming breath before they got up and Rook quickly put the top part of his armor back on while Rachel smoothed down her hair and smiled at him. Though they hadn't been doing anything other than cuddling, they wanted to look presentable for whoever was at the door.

Rook went up and unlocked the door, opening it to find Zeus, Cetus, and Splix standing there. "Hey," he said with a smile.

"Hello, Rook," Zeus said with a smile. "Ready to go home?"

The Revonnahgander checked the time. "Oh, I didn't realize it was already the end of my shift," he admitted sheepishly.

"Maybe because a certain someone that makes your heart skip a beat made you forget everything but her?" Cetus asked teasingly.

"Cetus!" Rachel groaned goodnaturedly as she stood beside Rook, her face red from their friend's good-natured teasing.

Splix chuckled. "Heaven does the same to me," he admitted to help Rachel and Rook feel less embarrassed.

Zeus chuckled and nodded. "Let's get home," he said, teleporting them all back to the Grant Mansion.

Heaven, in her human-sized form, came out from the living room and smiled at Splix. "There you are, honey," she said, going up to him and kissing him. "I missed you."

"And I missed you, Beautiful," he said, hugging her before feeling a small hand on his ankle and he looked down to see it was Angel, also in her human-sized form, and she was reaching up for him.

"Daddy!" She said happily.

Chuckling, he picked her up. "Hey, sugar plum," he said with a smile.

Heaven smiled. "Come on. Let's have some family time before you have to go for that mission," she said.

"Actually, my mission got switched to the morning, so we've got plenty of time," he said.

She smiled. "Oh, good," she said before leaning closer to whisper in his ear. "Because I've got a new outfit I want you to see."

Splix blushed at that, but smiled at her lovingly. Rachel looked at the two Celestialsapiens that stood beside her with a smile. "Am I right to assume you two had something to do with Splix switching missions?" She asked.

"Maybe," Cetus said with a smile.

"Perhaps," Zeus replied, also smiling.

The young woman chuckled. "Well, I'm glad Splix now sees that he doesn't have to be nervous around you two," she said. "Though I wonder how he'll take meeting Taurus."

"Or the last high official of the courts," Cetus said, smiling.

"Who's that?" Rachel asked curiously.

"You'll meet him soon enough," Zeus promised with a smile.

"Until then," Rook said, gently pulling his fiancée close to him. "Why don't we grab some more cuddle time, my love?"

She blushed, but smiled at him. "Sounds good to me," she said as he picked her up and carried her upstairs.

Cetus chuckled. "There is never a dull moment in this family," he said.

"Very true, my friend," Zeus said, also chuckling. "Very true."
