Starjun sipped at the warm tea in his hands. It was a black tea seasoned with a thin layer of cinnamon and a sweet spice that added to its aroma. His mate really was an excellent connoisseur of the Drink portion of a full-course meal. He was so very picky as well.

A small hand tapped his thigh, which brought him out of his small musing. The Alpha looked into glittering hazel eyes, his innocent young daughter Cynna looking back with a smile that would melt sugar. "Habi Fada's Day!" She said, barley forming the words.

Starjun smiled at her and ruffled her soft white hair, the small curls tickling the gaps in his fingers. She giggled and ran out of the kitchen, only to return with Coco a few seconds later.

Coco smiled as he entered the kitchen with a sleepy look on his face, carrying a small box. He must have only gotten up. Recently Coco has been getting up super early due to a stomach bug- which unsettled Starjun as the poisonous Gourmet Hunter was often immune to illnesses. Even now he thought back to when they first appeared. His first thought was food poisoning, but in this day and age? Unlikely. He even got so annoyed of not understanding why that he tried making every medical tea he knew to help his mate.

The extra sleep Coco got today was well worth the worry. His mate doesn't often get extra sleep. Coco leaned down to Starjun's face and gave his cheek a small, quick but sweet kiss before sitting across from him, Cynna sitting right on his lap as he sat down. Coco wrapped his arms around her in response. "How was the tea this morning Darling? Did it help your headache?"

"Yes love, my headache is gone. The tea you recommended to me to drink was just the thing I needed today."

Coco smiled brightly. "I'm glad. Cynna, did you give daddy your gift?" Cynna shook her head and immediately left to get this "gift".

Starjun was taken aback by the "daddy" comment. Coco hardly ever used the word outside of the bedroom, so by association it lit Starjun's body on fire. Coco looked his Alpha in the eye and smirked, sexy and teasingly. Starjun raised an eyebrow and smirked back, predatory.

"Found it!" Cynna rushed back in, giving Starjun a wrapped present before taking her spot on Coco's lap. Starjun looked at the cube, moving it around in his hands to determine what could be inside. It wasn't too heavy, but there was something in there. Looking at his daughter's happy smile, Starjun gave her one of his own before elegantly opening the gift. Inside was a Puffer Whale plushie. Oh- doesn't that bring back memories. One of the first times he's seen his not-then-mate in the field. "Do ya like it?" Starjun nodded to his daughter and held it up to his head. The four-year-old squealed in suppressed joy.

Enough so that Kiss could hear from outside, along with a striking guest saying hello to the Emperor Crow.

"Ouch Cynna, careful with the high pitch."

Cynna gasped and once again jumped off of Coco. "Bid Braduh is here! He's here!"

Coco chuckled. "Which of my sons are here?"

"Shade. Ya'know it's me mom!"

Starjun rolled his eyes as he set the plushie on the table, rising to his full height. Honestly he envied Ichiryu for getting Coco as his oldest. A sweetheart who was equal part reliable as he was responsible. Shade was their oldest, and he had a mean streak like Zebra. He was able to do similar damage to boot. It was probably experience with Zebra when they were younger that allowed Coco to have as much patience as he did for Shade. He loves to fight, and Starjun is up there on his list of "People I Need To Beat Up Because They Pissed Me Off". Zebra pretty much helped.

Unlike Cynna he had short, spiky black hair and sharp wine red eyes. His whole body is covered in nasty scars. But- he was their son. Despite all that he still had a pretty face, although it ended up giving him the "bad boy" air. His right ear was pierced three times and he wore a gold necklace around his neck. Shade also learned how to sneer like a pro from Zebra. Entering the kitchen was his son who was nearly at his father's height.

"Back from a hunt son? Or did you get bored?" Starjun rolled his shoulder and tested his focus. His headache was back, but he knew how to fix it without the tea.

"You wish old man! I only brought you this for Father's Day." He outstretched his hand holding a black case, clear cut and heavy by the way it looked.

"Oh, a present? Is it a knife set?" Starjun took it from Shade, who released it immediately. Starjun could now feel the weight of the case.

"You better believe it is! It was the best Melk knife set I could find the materials for in order to get them commissioned. Hey mom, hope you don't mind me dropping in."

Ah, such a momma's boy. Starjun smiled at his oldest child's back as he bent a knee in order to hug Coco's waist, breathing in the familiar scent of beautiful fleshy fruits and sweet nectar. A maternal scent that only Omegas could produce for soothing their children. Like Starjun, Shade found himself having a soft spot for Coco, enough to force him to behave.

As it stood Starjun has sired 3 sons and 1 daughter with Coco: Shade, Dusk, Chili, and Cynna. Dusk was currently taking on as many Gourmet Hunting jobs as possible in an effort to move out of the house, despite being young he was taken under Toriko's wing for about a month before he moved on his own. Shade had done the same years earlier with Zebra but went for a full year before striking out on his own. Chili was the only one interested enough to join the Chef League, therefore he took his knife set and left for a boarding chef training school. Cynna was the only one of their children left in the house- and it made it feel empty.

So much in fact that Starjun worried for his mate's mental health. Loneliness was a main contributor to Coco hesitating in starting a family in the first place with him. Abandonment was nothing to scoff at.

Starjun sat back at the table, listening to Shade as he talked to Coco about all the places he's been so far, and where he's going.

It was almost midnight, and Coco kissed Starjun heavily on the lips, panting as he broke away. Their bodies were well spent from the intense intimacy.

They would have almost fallen asleep, if not for Coco nearly scaring Starjun half to death by jumping to the nightstand.

"I've almost forgotten. I have a gift for you too, daddy!" He handed Starjun a small, rectangle box. Starjun stared at it. Ah- this was the same box Coco had carried with him to the kitchen this morning, the one he didn't get because Shade came home for a brief moment.

He looked at Coco, and was met with a small, but nervous smile, tapping the box in an effort to encourage the Alpha to open it. And with practiced hands he removed the lid of the box and took out the item inside- all without breaking eye contact with his mate. He only did when he looked down to see an Omega pregnancy test, with the results being positive.

Starjun remembered all the days he was sick with what he thought was a stomach bug. All the days of waking up early. They all made sense now.

The Alpha male leaned back into the bed, wrapping his arm around his pregnant Omega mate and laying him down on his bare chest.

"Must be a tough pregnancy this time. You didn't get sick with the other four."

"That's because there's three of them."

Starjun dropped the test and froze. Ah… he wasn't going anywhere for months for too very long. At least that'll take care of the empty house syndrome they were going to get once Cynna leaves.

"Happy Father's Day, daddy!" Coco purred against his ear, sending heat through his veins.

"Night's not over yet babe," Starjun leaned down for a kiss. "We still got an hour before midnight strikes."
