My name, is Nico di Angelo.

I've been pushed away from everywhere I've ever known. Camp Jupiter, Camp Half-Blood... no ones ever accepted me.

After the war with Gaea (long story), I decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. People were still scared of me, but it got better.

One person who was especially nice, was Will Solace.

"Hey, Nico!" He called. He was wearing a CHB t-shirt, shorts an flip flops.

"Hi, Will." I said, not even looking back. He stepped in front of me and said, "don't you know it's rude not to look at people when their talking?"

Gods of Olympus, he was SO annoying sometimes.

"Mkay."

"So where are you going? Do you wanna help in the infirmary?" Will asked. "Yeah, sure." I said, and we walked over.

"Nicoo, thats not tight enough! Wrap it so it won't come off!" Will said. He moved so he was right next to me, and helped me wrap a brace.

The next camper was Chiara. Damien sat beside her, but he looked away as soon as we started coming.

She had a sprained ankle, but we fixed that just fine.

As Will and I walked away, I could see Damien turning back over to her. He then punched her and muttered, "I hate you."

Will flashed his smile at me, and I looked away.

"So, you heard about the dance?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow. "The one being held by the Aphrodite kids? Yeah, I ain't going." I said.

His face looked crushed. "What? Why not?

"You know why. I'm just going to make people uncomfortable."

"But- Nico, you can't just say that! I bet you there's one person there that'll like you." Will said.

"Wanna go? Deal. Winner gets the losers dessert for a month."

"Fine." Will said. Just like during the war with Gaea, his eyes were annoyingly determined. Just made me want to win, even more.

When I was alone, I IMed Hazel. She seemed to be understanding, and nodded the whole time.

"Hey, Hazel! Where's the- oh hi Nico." Frank came up behind Hazel. "What's going on?"

Hazel sighed. "Nico has a crush, and now he's made a bet with him."

"Ooh, are we getting involved with Nico's love life now?" Reyna walked up to the Iris Message.

"Nico? Love life? Uh uh. I've NEVER heard those two words in the same sentence." Jason came up.

"How about this. GET OUT OF NICOS LOVE LIFE." I said. "You might as well tell everyone there!"

Jason shrugged. "If you say so," he turned around. "DOES ANYBODY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT NICOS-"

Hazel put her hand over his mouth. "Frank, could you make that gag you used on Nike?"

A knock came from my door.

"Well, see you guys soon." I said.

I opened the door, and Will Solace was waiting.

As the Iris Message disappeared, Jason yelled out, "Nico has a crush!" The last sounds I heard were Hazel scolding him.

"Crush, huh?" Will looked disappointed.

"Oh, um... yeah."

"Ok, just wanted to tell you it's time for dinner. See ya." Will walked away.

When I find Jason, I'm going to kill him. I thought to myself.

I looked at the shrine of my father, Hades.

I barely ever prayed to him, but I got down on my knees.
