A/N

So I am trying to write as much as possible for the chapters. I have asked before what school people want to see Hinata in and not many of you have commented. I am stuck though because I chose the schools he was visiting so I like most of them and I am not sure if the one's I like are the one's you guys want to see. You'll all see more of Hinata's history hopefully in the next few chapters. But anyway enjoy.

New Moves and Plans

Hinata pov

I was a little nervous for the practice. Everyone was dressed in their normal practice uniforms and I was the only one who wasn't. I shifted nervously then Tsumu threw his arm around me.

"We're going to have so much fun," Tsumu said. I smiled at him nervously.

"Because it's just regular here we're going to do 4 on 4's with no set positions," Kita said.

"How are the teams going to be chosen?" Suna asked.

"I'm glad you asked Suna. Team A is Me, Omimi, Ojiro, and Akagi. Team B Miya's, Suna, and Hinata," Kita said. Everyone nodded and headed down to the beach. A volleyball net was already set up for us so we moved to either side. I started up front with Samu and Tsumu was to serve.

Tsumu took a deep breath getting ready to serve. As he threw the ball up a wave crashed against the shore. I could see he was irritated as the ball sored to the other side and scored us a point. I didn't know why he was upset, we scored. Tsumu turned and glared at the water. Samu leaned towards me.

"Tsumu doesn't like noise when he serves," Samu whispered, like it was a secret. That made everything clear. Tsumu turned his glare up front and I felt a shiver go up my spine and spun around.

Tsumu served again, but this time it was received. The ball went up and I watched Kita set it for Ojiro. I dove to try and receive, but I was a little too late.

"Ahhh!" I screamed. The game went back and forth until it was my turn to serve. I was nervou, I am not good at serving. I took a deep breath and did an underhand serve. But it was out of bounds.

"That was terrible," Tsumu said bluntly. My shoulders went up to my ears, I knew it was bad, but it didn't need to be pointed out. The game continued on, but when my team got a 7 point lead I noticed that Samu and Suna started to slack a bit. Not enough to cost us too many points, but enough that it was annoying.

Because of those two we lost the game.

"What the hell you two! You're acting like scrubs!" Tsumu yelled at them. I didn't know what a scrub was, but it sounded bad.

"Even though Sho-chan sucked at least he tried!" Tsumu yelled.

"Hey!" I was offended. I didn't suck, my receiving just needed some work, as did my serving.

Tsumu just ignored me and kept yelling at Samu and Suna. Not that it changed their minds any. I knew I would just have to do better the next game.

"Hey, how about the losers have to cook lunch," Akagi suggested. He seemed to have said the right thing because Tsumu stopped yelling.

Everyone agreed that this was a good idea and we got ready for the next game. I was starting in the back row and it was my turn to serve. I felt Tsumu glaring at me, he was trying to intimidate me into serving well. I took a deep breath and served. To my shock not only was it in, but no one received it.

"I knew you didn't suck that badly," Tsumu said, rubbing my hair. I scowled at him and slapped his hand away. Tsumu just laughed and got back into position.

I served again, but this time it was easily received.

"Chance ball!" Suna said. Suna received it and it sailed towards Tsumu. We didn't have any signs ready for this game so Samu and I ran up. The ball came to me and I spiked it. Omimi and Akagi dived for the ball, but missed it. I landed and grinned wildly.

"Yosha!" I pumped my fists. Spiking successfully was awesome.

Tsumu rubbed my hair and Samu patted my back, Suna just stood off to the side. The game kept going back and forth, but eventually my team got a break and it kept going. Soon it was match point for my team and the other team was only one point behind. We needed to score one more point to win and if we didn't then we would need to score two more points.

We wound up in a long rally. I jumped up for a spike ready to win the point, but Ojiro was right there and he went in for a joust. I put both my hands on the ball even though I wouldn't be able to win the joust. Ojiro is much stronger than me. I felt my arms strain as I tried to stop Ojiro. I accidentally started to lean back and surprisingly the ball started to come with me. Ojiro let go because he was about to touch the net. I still held the ball so I tossed it over the net. I soared over Ojiro and fell to the ground. Akagi dived for it but was too late because no one was expecting it.

It was silent for a second before everyone on my team cheered. The other team didn't seem too upset about losing and everyone crowded around me. Everyone was congratulating me on my move. I laughed as I got patted on the back and head rubs.

"How'd you do that Sho-chan?" Tsumu asked when everyone stopped congratulating me.

"I don't know. It was an accident," I admitted.

"You don't know?" Samu asked.

"It just happened. I never win jousts, but I always try. This time as I started to lose the ball didn't slame out of my hands. It started to come with me. So I made a split second decision and threw it," I said.

Everyone looked at me in shock. I just smiled and scratched the back of my head.

"No one was expecting it so I knew I could get the point as long as it stayed in bounds," I rubbed my nose. Everyone continued to stare at me. Eventually Kita sighed.

"Like everyone agreed A team will go make lunch. B team can do whatever they want until it is ready," Kita said. Tsumu whooped in joy as everyone on A team headed inside.

"Sho-chan we're going to work on your serves. Because they suck," Tsumu said, grabbing me. I nodded and turned to Samu and Suna.

"Do you guys want to join us?" I asked.

"No way. I don't do anymore practice than I have to," Suna said walking towards the house's back porch. I watched him lay down in some lounge chairs and close his eyes. I turned to Samu waiting for his response.

"Nah, I rather watch them cook," Samu said and he headed inside.

"Those damn slackers," Tsumu hissed. I turned and looked at him. I don't know why he was so upset about them wanting to do other things.

"Lets practice," I said. Tsumu smiled and led me back to the court.

"Watch me," Tsumu said and got ready to serve. Tsumu threw the ball up and as it came down a wave crashed against the beach. After his hand connected Tsumu turned and glared at the ocean.

"What's with the glare?" I asked.

"I need silence when I serve," Tsumu said looking at me.

"But isn't that bad?" I asked. Tsumu looked at me confused. "I mean if you always need silence when you serve or you get frustrated and mess up then can't other teams use that against you?"

Tsumu looked thoughtful.

"They've never done it before, but I think if they knew then they would. But it's not something I control," Tsumu complained.

"Well maybe this is good for you," I said.

"What do you mean?" Tsumu asked.

"Well no one can control the ocean. It's always going to make noise no matter what you do. So practice serving with the noise. You'll eventually get used to it… hopefully," I said. Tsumu started to laugh.

"Hopefully?" Tsumu laughed.

"Well no plan is full proof," I shrugged.

"Maybe," Tsumu shrugged. "Anyway let's get back to your serves."

I nodded and we started working again. Everytime I served, Tsumu would give me advice on what to work on. Towards the end I started to get more balls in. About 30 minutes after starting serve practice Kita came out and called us back in for lunch. We all sat around the table and ate. We picked fun at each other and joked around and it felt so nice. It actually felt a little better than Karasuno, if only because Kageyama wasn't here making fun of me.
