[A/N] This is a new project I started while I had a little free time between chapters of Loves Blind. It is going to be a collection of short stories about characters from Zootopia and my other fan fiction works. These short stories will be fairly raw and unedited so I hope you enjoy. I am not sure how often I will be publishing them, since I cant even keep a basic schedule for my other stories.

To start off with, this is a scene that did not make it into the final cut of Loves Blind chapter 19. It is roughly an alternate ending to that chapter, but I thought it was fluffy enough to deserve to at least see the light of day. So here we go and I hope every enjoys a little extra fluff!

Chapter 1 - Cardiac Arrest

Today was the day. Today was the day she was going to show that insufferable, dumb fox exactly how she felt. No smug cabbie was going to ruin it for her this time. She was going to march straight up and tell him exactly what she thought, even if the entire precinct was watching.

Judy Hopps swept through the main door of the police station like a storm that had just rolled in off the coast. Her pawsteps slapped the polished marble tiles and the sound echoed like thunder around the enormous lobby. The red glare in her eyes caused several nearby officers to jump back as she charged forward like a rampaging bull.

The Precinct One's lobby was quiet and nearly empty except for a few early morning risers like herself. A hippo and a dark grey wolf were standing by the vending machines chatting about a perp they had brought in last night and a pair of rams stepped out of the rabbit's way before they headed out through the front door.

Scanning the room, she easily spotted the suspect and the source of last evening's frustrations. The tall red fox was casually standing in the center of the room chatting with a rotund cheetah. He was dressed in the better of his two uniforms, the one where the collar didn't flop over the wrong way and didn't have that annoying crease near his tail. He and the receptionist were both sharing a fresh pastry and laughing over one of the fox's many crude jokes.

She had lain awake all night, tossing and turning, thinking about what the fox had done, and how he had managed to escape. He would not be so lucky this time. The rabbit had the culprit in her sights and she was not going to let him get away now. This fox had caused her enough grief already.

Even more than a year after she graduated from the police academy, the bunny still held most of the top scores on the obstacle course and remained undefeated in the boxing ring. She had brought down predators ten times her weight and no sly, lazy fox was going to stop her. He was doomed and he didn't even know it.

The rabbit marched across the lobby floor as a small glimmer of morning sunlight burst through the tall glass windows. With the new light shining in the eyes of her prey, she cautiously approached the unsuspecting pair. The cheetah's grin widened as he saw the small mammal walk up to his desk, giving away her position to the fox, but it was too late for him. She was almost within paws reach of the perpetrator, he had no chance to escape before she could pounce on him and he still had the morning light in his eyes.

"Good morning, Officer Fluff," came the obnoxious, red fox's smug reply. He turned towards the rabbit, licking the sugar from his fingertips and gave her his everyday smirk. Beyond his outwardly calm mask she saw something different in his emerald green eyes. It wasn't mirth, or amusement, it was warm and almost inviting and Judy felt herself drifting, almost lost in the warm green glow.

This was new. He had never looked at her like that before. Did he know what she was planning to do? His gaze was tender and comforting, she could have easily drowned in those shiny bright pools.

Blinking and shaking her head, she struggled to pull herself back from those enticingly seductive pits. She had to focus on the task at paw and with her small fists firmly planted on her hips she confronted the diabolical fox.

The time was at paw. She held her ground and in a clear voice that rang across the large hall she delivered her proclamation, "Nicolas Wilde. You are under arrest."

His smug expression returned and mirth filled his eyes, like she had simply told him a joke with a terrible punch line, but he was too nice to tell her how bad it really was. "For what?" he asked, leaning on the receptionist's counter and placing his chin in his paw. "Hurting your feewings?"

"For stealing my heart," came the bunny's cold, flat reply.

As the clink of cold steel and the clicking of pawcuffs closed around his dark red wrists, his eyes widened like two giant saucers. Another clink and clatter followed as the other end of the cuffs were applied to the rabbit's own small wrist. Stunned, the small predator tried to pull away from the prey, but was caught firmly by the steel chains and by her bright amethyst gaze. He was trapped, held captive by the very mammal his kind used to hunt.

Glancing warmly up at her prisoner, a sweet smile slowly split her muzzle as she began to speak, "Mr. Wilde. You have the right to remain silent." She pulled down on the short chain that bound them together, causing the taller mammal to lean slightly forward. "Anything you say can and will go straight to my heart." Lifting up on her toes she looked directly into the fox's eyes. "You have the right to kiss me."

Chains rattled and clanked as the rabbit pulled down hard causing the fox to stumble and nearly trip. Before he could fall, the rabbit rose up to meet him and planted her lips firmly on the end of his muzzle. She caught the fox in her paws and pulled him down to her lips where they met with a warm wet smack.

Minutes passed with the two small mammals locked together in a tight, passionate embrace, their lips fighting a desperate battle that neither wanted to win. Leading a decisive assault against his unprotected flanks, Judy's small pink lips worked their way up one side of his long muzzle and then down the other. Taking the high ground, Nick's long tongue pressed the advantage, forcing open the small rabbit's defenses. Willingly she allowed the fox access, pulling him closer with a soft moan.

The taste and smell of her fox was so intoxicating that she lost her grip on the slick marble floor. She hardly noticed her paws slip before she was lifted into the air by strong red arms. With her paws on the fox's light creamy cheeks, she opened her eyes only to drown in his emerald pools. Gasping for breath, she pulled away from his wet, hungry lips, "I love you, Nickolas Wilde." Still starving for more, her tiny pink tongue leapt across the end of his muzzle and up his large black nose.

Nick placed his nose on the end of her's and inhaled deeply, "I love you too, Judith Hopps." He gently rubbed their noses together before placing his lips firmly against hers again.

Kissing her way up the side of the fox's head, she began nibbling on the his fuzzy, pointed ears, "We should probably continue this in private, Mr. Wilde."

"I couldn't agree more, Miss Hopps," the fox shifted his weight to better carry the bunny in his arms while she continued to kiss and play with the fur around his neck.

Slowly, the rabbit toting fox, waltzed across the lobby and out through the front doors. An exuberant squeal followed the fox as he carried his love bunny across the lobby. The squeal got even louder when the chubby cheetah noticed that Judy had accidentally left her pawcuff keys sitting on his desk.

The cheetah's excited squeal grew louder and louder, slowly turning into an annoying whine. Judy rolled over and smacked the alarm with one well aimed paw. Rolling back over she placed her arms around her fox again and snuggled into his long, soft red fur, only it wasn't as soft as she remembered.

Nick's fur seemed awfully stiff and very short and had the odd smell of popcorn and cotton candy. The fox also seemed to have shrunk in his sleep.

Opening her eyes, the small rabbit let out a sigh of defeat. It was still dark in the tiny apartment, but she could clearly make out the small plush fox laying next to her. The stuffed animal's muzzle was still wet and one of it's ears had a small chunk missing.
