Hey dudes. I can't commit to one story, so I started this new story! I found a TLT pdf so I did this.
Percy studied the beautiful Camp Half-Blood, with his arm around (The also beautiful)Annabeth. They were sitting near Thalia's pine, savoring the sweet smell of the strawberries that were wafting over the big house, allowing them to get a sniff. It was surreal. Percy leaned on Annabeth and inhaled her lemon-scented hair, which went perfectly with her lemon-colored hair.
Annabeth stood up and stretched, causing Percy to fall on the ground. Luckily, the soft grass made the fall a lot less painful. Percy looked up at her worriedly.
"You ok?" He asked. Annabeth turned to him and smiled.
"Yeah, wanna go climb the wall?" Percy pondered this. He decided he was too exhausted.
He shook his head no. "I'm going to head to the Lake."
Annabeth nodded and sprinted over to the wall. Percy made his way over to the lake and immersed himself into the water.
He let himself fall to the bottom. He floated in the ice-cold water, and he felt himself gradually becoming more alert and awake. Then he felt hot. He opened his eyes and hurriedly got out of the water. He didn't feel any better. He rushed to the infirmary, flailing his limbs everywhere.
"Will!" By now, he felt like he was standing on the sidewalk, but it was the summer solstice. In Arizona. He yelled Will's name again, hoping he could find him. He finally located the blonde, only to find him downing water as fast as he could.
"Will!"
Will looked up.
"I'm sorry Percy, but I'm-" Will gulped down more water-"Burning up!" Percy's eyes widened. Suddenly, Annabeth barged in, holding a water bottle.
"WILL!" She yelled. "I'm burning up!" Will helplessly shrugged, forcing down water.
"Annabeth, are you burning up too?" She nodded furiously.
They all were running around, trying to get the invisible fire off of them.
Suddenly, after what seemed like an eternity, (It was really only about 2 minutes) it ended. They all stopped in their tracks, breathing heavily. Percy paused. "Really? Then what was th-"
Percy, Annabeth, and Will all got transported into a dark room. Percy dizzily stood up, scanning his surroundings. He saw many other ominous figures, so he pulled out Riptide, pulled off the cap, and the sword flew to its full length of 3 feet. He immediately flew into battle, aiming for the first person he saw.
So did all the people in the room.
He heard a whisper, "Drowah," and he immediately stopped in his tracks. "Sadie?" He whispered.
"Jackson?" She gasped. A wall of light surrounded her, but she quickly disabled the spell.
"What? Why are you here?" He heard another voice. Two, really.
"Percy?" two boys said in sync.
"Magnus? Leo?"
"Who's Magnus and Leo?"
They all kept quiet for a second. A sharp voice cut through the silence.
"Ok, where are the lights?" Annabeth demanded. As soon as she said those words, dazzling lights filled the room.
Percy blinked and saw they were in a giant movie theater. "Ok, should we introduce everyone?" Leo asked. Percy nodded, looking warily at the abundance of people in the room.
Sadie spoke up. "Sadie Kane, Egyptian Magician."
Hazel interrupted. "Magician?" Percy sighed.
"Ok, there's Norse people and Greeks and Romans and Egyptians. No more explanation." Leo raised a finger.
"But-" Percy turned to him and gave him a Do-you-want-to-get-out-of-here-or-not? look. Percy was tired of being pulled into these tasks. Leo shut up.
"Um. Ok! Carter Kane, Egyptian Combat Magician."
"Jaz Anderson, Egyptian Healer."
"Walt Stone, Egyptian Charm Maker."
"Zia Rashid, Egyptian Magician."
Percy clasped his hands together. "Are those all the Egyptians?"
The Egyptians nodded. "Who wants to go next?" Reyna raised her hand.
"Reyna RamÃrez-Arellano, Hunter of Artemis, former praetor of the 12th legion. Roman."
People looked as confused as ever. "Prater?" Magnus mumbled.
"Praetor!" Reyna scolded him. Hazel saved him.
"Hazel Levesque, praetor of the 12th legion. Roman."
"Er, Frank Zhang, praetor of the 12th legion. Roman."
Annabeth nodded. "Ok, so that's all the...it's all the Romans!" Her voice cracked at the "all the Romans" part. Sniffles were spread across the crowd. Annabeth pointed at Magnus. "You. Go."
Magnus hurriedly said his name.
"Magnus Chase, son of Frey."
"Samirah Al-Abbas, daughter of Loki."
Leo put up the time out signal. "Hold up, what? Loki, like in the Avengers?" Percy sighed.
"Fine. Listen up. Every religion has its own set of gods, according to the beliefs of them. In other words, all the stories are true. Get it?"
"No."
"Too bad. You want to introduce your self, Alex?" Alex who was tapping his feet impatiently nodded.
"YES, finally. Alex Ferrio, daughter of Loki. Also, I'm gender fluid, and I feel like a boy today." As soon as he ended, Leo started.
"Leo Super Sized Mcshizzle Valdez, savior of Olympus, part of the Seven, and a son of Hephaestus." Alex rolled her eyes. "Show-off," he accused Leo. Leo pouted while Piper spoke up.
"Piper Mclean, daughter of Aphrodite."
"Nico Diangelo. Son of Hades."
"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. Which most of you know."
"Thalia. I'm the daughter of Zeus. Don't call me by my last name, which is Grace."
"I'm the one and only Percy Jackson. The man, the myth, the legend. Also, I'm a son of Poseidon." Everyone processed that for a second. They all stood still, no one daring to say a word.
"Sit," a voice said. It was old, yet young. It was deep, yet high. It was quiet, yet loud. It was forever, yet never. Everyone tensed. Leo lit his hands on fire, Piper got out her dagger, Sadie got out her wand, and so on and so forth.
"Who are you?"Percy yelled.
"Do not show disrespect, boy. We shall answer your questions when you kneel. All of you." Percy chose not to lunge at whoever the sound was coming from. He hastily knelt, keeping his sword tightly gripped in his hand. He glanced up, ready to jump back into battle. Everyone behind him followed him.
"Very well. We are..." Percy braced himself. Kronos? Gaia? Chaos?
"The fates." The greeks audibly gasped. "Fates?" Magnus asked.
"They control our fate. They can kill anyone and everyone." Annabeth explained. "Gods, poof. Demigods, poof. Humans and animals? poof. Even monsters." The kids nodded. "Like our Parcae?" Reyna assumed.
"And our Norns?" Sam asked.
"And our Shai?" Zia pointed out.
"Erm, sure," Percy said. He looked up at the sky. "What do you want from us?" He screamed. The sound echoed all across the room.
"You." The fates said, with that infinite voice of theirs. Everyone in the room moved forward, and Percy's closest friends went in front of him. Percy gently pushed them back. If something was going to happen, he was going to face it head-on.
"Why?" Percy's voice cracked. "Why do you want me?" The fates scoffed.
"We don't want you. We just want your friends to see you. Live you. Experience you." Everyone exchanged looks. Percy looked confused.
"Huh? I don't get why you want me."
"If you really don't know why. Who is the best hero in here? For the people who know Jackson. We are the fates. Do not bother lying."
Everyone uttered a quiet, "Percy..." They heard a sharp, SNAP, then they were transported to the seats in the theater. "Do not try to leave the theater. You are going to watch a movie, narrated by Percy Jackson."
A black screen. "Look. I didn't want to be a half-blood."
"Oh. Almost forgot. Everyone is going to reflect on the person in the story. If Jackson gets stabbed, Jackson will get stabbed. If Chase gets mad, Chase will get mad.
"If you're reading this because you think you might be one, my advice is: close this book right now. Believe what-ever lie your mom or dad told you about your birth, and try to lead a normal life."
"Good Luck!"
How was that? I really wanted to keep writing until Percy gets to CHB, but I want to leave you on a cliff hanger. Bye, until next time. Sorry if this seems similar to any other story. Remember:
