Halo and Familiar of Zero

Summary: What would happen if Louise did summon Saito but he is a SPARTAN from halo, alongside with an ai name Yoko? He was in the middle of fighting the Covenant on earth, until he was summoned to Tristain. How would this tall Spartan would change the world? Will it terrify the whole people of Halkegenia?

Chapter 1: Arrival

SPARTAN-III Saito was riding his Warthog along while others. He was trying to head over to Covenant controlled areas. Hopefully he can use his warthog to run over those Alien bastards. Fortunately, he managed to run over some grunts and elites giving him a satisfying look.

As he put the warthog on full speed, he then went through a green portal without any notice. The Green portal then shrunk and vanished in sight.

Meanwhile in another world, there was a female student with knowingly Having pink girl and being short is named Louise Vallerie. She is about 16 years old, and she is known for failing at magic according to the students. The reason she is failing at magic is because she can only perform only explosives so given the nickname Zero or Louise the Zero.

Today was the Spring Summoning Familiar for the second year. Everyone has gone except for Louise. Everyone was teasing her hoping to see that she won't summon anything but explosives. She walked in the middle and began chanting.

"My Familiar that exists in this vast universe, my name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière. Pentagon of the five elemental powers, heed my summoning! Give me the most wise, powerful, and beautiful Familiar a Master can ask for, and bring forth my Familiar"

As it happened Louise cast the spell and another explosion appeared. Everyone was coughing away the smoke that was made. After the fog of smoke cleared up, they could see Louise staring at some carriage without a horse. They can also see what it looks like a tall golem riding it.

"WHat is this?" Louise asked herself

"Did Louise summon a golem?"

"Look it's riding a horseless carriage"

"Louise? What did you summon?" Colbert asked

"I...I don't know how it works"

All of the sudden they can see that what they call a golem turns its head.

Saito on the other hand was confused about what's going on. "Yoko what's going on?"

"Scanning, according to data we have seem to be in a new planet. We're not in earth anymore"

"Are we in reach or harvest?"

"No it appears that we're outside of the UEG territory"

"You seriously, then where are we?"

The SPARTAN got off his Warthog, in his side, he can see a crate as well. Then a pink hair girl got close to him. As Saito turned his head to the crowd. He can see a pink hair girl and an adult male who is balding. Arguing in a European Language called French.

"Yoko can you translate the language they're speaking?"

"Sure thing"

The HUD on his helmet showed subtitles on what they are speaking

"Professor may I try that again?"

"I'm afraid not doing it a second time would be blasphemous if done a second time"

"Oh no not another religious fanatic. Thank goodness I don't worship any god"

"What's your name commoner?"?

"SPARTAN-III Saito-150 UNSC, but you can call me Saito"

"Ok take off your helmet"

"Why should I?"

"JUST DO IT" Louise snapped

Then Colbert interfered "Louise please I have to explain everything to him"

"Yes sir" Louise said as she stepped back

Colbert was now in front of him beginning to explain everything that was going on so Saito wasn't confused.

"I'm deeply sorry for my student excused"

"Not a problem. I got yelled at many times from my drill instructors"

"Ok, well for starters my name is Jean Colbert, I am a professor of this Institute, and this girl here is name Louise Valliere, and she has summoned you to become her Familiar"

"Familiar? What the heck is that?"

Colbert explained what a familiar is. In Saito perspective, it looks like slavery to him

"No I Will not submit to slavery. I am a Soldier"

"Calm down, this is not slavery, just think of it as a partnership or something like that"

"What if i refuse?"

"That never happened before, this is the first time summoning a human as a familiar. But I don't know."

Then Yoko responded. "Saito I believed we're no range of the UEG, but if you had a stronger communications system, then you might find your way back home. For the time being you should stay here."

Saito nodded "Alright I'll do it. I'll do this familiar thing until my people come to me"

"Very well, Louise continue the ritual"

Louise walked over to Saito who is still wearing the SPARTAN suit "You should be grateful, a commoner like you would never have this opportunity. Take off your helmet"

Saito took off his helmet revealing his black hair, blue eyes and his scar face. It shocked all of the people surrounding him. It looked like he came back from war or something

"My name is Louise de blanc de la Valliere, Pentagon of the five elements, bless this being and make him my familiar"

Louise leaned in closer to his lips and kissed him. The Spartan was shocked to see this girl was kissing him. He never had time for romantic relationships due to the Human-Covenant war. He became a Spartan when he was kidnapped when he was 5 years old.

"Well done Louise you have completed the ritual" Colbert said

"So what happens now?"

Then he felt a burning sensation. Saito dealt with fire manytimes, but dealing with heat inside his whole body was different. Trying so hard not to scream out his pain.

"Saito! Are you ok?" Yoko panicked

His energy shield is low as it beeps through his HUD. Then it stopped

"What the hell are you guys up to, you trying to kill me?"

"Relax it's your runes mark, it shows that your are my familiar"

Then Colbert came up and asked him about his runes. He showed his runs through his right wrist. He was surprised to see his runes are so different, plus something familiar. It looked like the ones that it once belonged to Gandalf. Could Saito be the reincarnation of Gandalf?

"Ok class, Class is dismissed for the day" Colbert announced as students held onto their familiars as they floated inside.

"Mr. Saito about your carriage and that crate box, we would glad to give you assistance"

"No need" he said as he lifted up the heavy box but it wasn't heavy from him due to his armor super strength. Louise and Colbert were impressed with his strength. Louise just took a look at him, he may be a commoner, but he has super strength.

"Well at least he has super strength" she thought.

"Professor, where can I put my warthog?"

"Oh you can set it by the stables"

"Thank you": he said as he lifted up the crate box and carried it inside. He then set it down as he divided to completely open up the crate to see exactly what is inside this box. Louise was also curious to see what was inside

The Spartan then carefully y lifts the lid of the crate after removing the clips stuck to it. As he opened it he saw something that surprised him

"Covenant Weapons? UNSC weapons? What the hell are they doing here?" he asked himself

The crate had not only Covenant weapons, but UNSC weapons and tech as well. Two plasma pistols, plasma rifles, 4 energy swords, and a carbine covenant rifle. As well as a communication device, It also had some Assault rifles, battle rifles, some pistols, and a sniper rifle. There were also upgrades like camouflage,, Energy shields, hologram, and much more.

"Communication device, this is what I need to communicate to the UNSC and the UEG"

Louise was so confused as to what her familiar was saying. They call these weapons communication devices? Covenant?

"What are those?" Louise asked

"Oh these are weapons from my world, It's hard to go into detail but eventually you'll know.

"Alright"

Saito grabbed one of the assault rifles, and grabbed the magnum pistol and put it into his side belt. He also used camouflage as his first upgrade choice. They were about to head over to Louise's room, while Saito got intense stares due to his SPARTAN Outfit which made some of them terrified. They both got into the room as Louise sat down in her bed.

"Ok Familiar, who are you and where do you come from?"

"I am SPARTAN-III Saito-150 of the UNSC of the UEG"

"Weird title but ok Saito, where did you come from?"

"UNSC? UEG?" what are those?"

"Oh boy, louise you might wanna sit back and relax, it's going to be a long long long story"

Loiuse did what he did and laid back in her bed and began listening

"It all dates back to the 21st Century or less. But not as far as the early 20th century . We have developed the first spacecraft that travelled out of my planet Earth. Our purpose was to study the universe. We even send people to our moon '

Louise was trying to sync this in, but this was too hard to believe. Humans going to the moon sounds preposterous, but he did sounded serious

"Then around the late 21st Century, we have spacecraft to colonize our moon, then other planets in the solar system therefore we made settlements"

"Moon settlements?"

"Yeah like people live there now"

Still couldn't synch it in but still listened

The next thing led to war between the planets caused by these terrorist factions. The Facist, the Communist, and then the UNSC. it all begins there with the UNSC. It was formed due to its massive, unified humanity, and powerful forces. That where it ended the factions.

"Go on"

"Then sometime around the late 23rd Century, we have created what we call slipspace, the ability to travel deep into space, where we discovered more habitable worlds to colonize and make settlements, therefore in hundred years the United Earth Government had over 800 colonized planets on the Orion arm of the galaxy, ranging from Military homes ot Agricultural planets like Harvest."

Louise had lost it hearing humans were able to travel into space, and colonize at least 800 planets. No mentions of magic made her overwhelmed.

"Let me get this straight, your humanity has expanded at least 800 planets without a single mention of magic?"

"Yeah, and also to tell you, we don't possess magic"

Louise was shocked, living in an empire where they possessed the stars didn't have magic? How could they create things without magic

"Now these things went nuts. So after years of having a great empire, This evil empire came to us" he said with an anger and sadness

"Who were they?" Louise asked with a hint of concerned

"They call themselves the Covenant, it is an ancient alien theocratic military alliance that was attacking humanity out of the middle of nowhere, we made first contact, and oh boy things didn't go well. Their first message to us was "Your destruction is the will of the gods, and we are the instruments"

"Aliens? What is that?"

Saito explained what was an alien and also explained how life on other planets is possible, but he went back explaining.

"They destroyed every planets they got on their hands, at least hundred of planets turned into glass killing at least 400 billion people"

"Wasn't your empire powerful?"

"No, they were more technologically advanced. They existed for thousands of years according to their data, we were outgunned, outmanned, but our advantages were stronger and tactically strong."

"So how can you fight them?"

"That's where we come in, the Spartans were powerful to defeat those Covie bastards" he chuckled "Especially Master Chief John, he is to believe to be one of the most powerful SPARTANS to exist in the universe"

It was then until someone knocked on the door, Louise answered it. It was professor Colbert at the door.

"Louise I believed that the headmaster wants to speak with you"

"Oh sure thing professor!"

Louise and Saito are now in the headmaster's office. In front of them was headmaster Osmond. His arrival interested the elderly mage. With his familiar spirit is a mouse sitting on his shoulder. Osmond looked at the SPARTAN at first he thought he was some type of Golem, it changed when he spoke.

"So this must be your familiar" Osmond asked

"Yes sir" Louise said

"Very interesting, so it's a human. Now this is something we need to study. Maybe we might find a clue to find out why you been casting so much explosives"

"I hope this get settled" she said

When night fell, Louise was still ranting on not getting a cool familiar like a griffon or a Dragon. Then she commanded the Spartan to do his laundry, but Saito had to refuse. He is no laundryman nor a servant. He is a SPARTAN, a killing machine. The two had an argument over it, but cooled down as Loiuse decided to just sleep.

The next morning, Louise was still asleep, Saito only slept in his armor, since it would keep him warm for the night.

"Louise wake up!"

Louise just moved and decided to head back to sleep

"Alright then…..Yoko, you want to use the wake up call?"

"Sure thing Saito" she said as she put the volume on full high as she began to play the wake up bugle call.

"WAAAAAAAAA" Louise fell to the ground rubbing her head

"Good Morning" Saito said

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT FOR?" she asked

"I tried waking you up, but this is only option I can give you"

"What time is it anyway" she asked

"About 7"

"Oh shoot I need to get to breakfast." she said as she took off her nightgown with her underwear putting it in the ground"

"Now dress me" she said

"Excuse me?"

"You need to dress me, Nobility doesn't dress themselves, that's why they have servants for"

"I am not a servant. I am a SPARTAN Soldier of the UNSC. I am a killing machine not a laundry machine, and what are you five!?"

"Well I….." Louise was going to say something, but the SPARTAN gave her a dark glare even though he had the helmet on. Louise lost pride when she had a feeling that the Spartan was giving her a bad vibe. Something tells her that she shouldn't piss him off

"F..,.fine, I'll prove to you that I'm not a lazy 6 year old kid. Get out of my room so I can change"

He then opened the door and slammed to close. After a while waiting outside, Louise came out all dressed.

"There you see i told you I can dress myself as I am not a 6 year old lazy bum" she said

"Good, now let's take you to breakfast"

The SPARTAN and the noble walked down to the mess hall where Saiot got all of the intense stares, including a lady named Kirche. Who seems to fall for Saito due to his incredible strength, and the way he looks. Saito pulled a chair for her as she pushed herself. He looked around the food.

"No way, this isn't thanksgiving or breakfast, this is just dinner with breakfast. Ridiculous" he said

He was heading outside with Louise calling him

"Hey familiar where are you going?"

"I'm going outside, I don't need this type of food." he said as he walked outside sitting down. His stomach growling realized that he was indeed hungry. Then Yoko spoke up

"Saito you need to eat something"

"There's nothing to eat. I don't like the food they're serving there."

"I sense an MRE meal in the crate you bought at Louise's room. You might wanna check that out"

"Sure"

Saito rushed over to Louise's room as he opened up the crate. He looked deep into the crate, then he found it. By the Covenant, this is a monthly supply of MRE to eat. Ok let's get this MRE started.

He walked back outside as he sat down on the steps. He pours some water into the MRE, and lets it sit to heat up. The meal he got is Spaghetti with meatballs, and marinara sauce. While he waited, he was eating some cheese crackers. While he eats, a maid passes by. She was curious about what that golden was eating.

"Excuse me"

Saito turned his head to see a maid. She had black hair, her eyes looked very asian looking.

"Hi? You need something?"

"Yeah I am curious about what you are doing?"

"Oh I'm just having breakfast"

"I see"

"Who are you?"

"My name is Siesta I am a maid in this school"

"I see, I am Spartan-III Saito-150 of the UNSC, but please call me Saito"

"Nice to meet you Saito" she said "Say aren't you the guy Louise summoned?"

"Yeah why?"

"Everyone is talking about it. This is huge a peasant like you given someone as a familiar"

"I am not a peasant, I am a SPARTAN, a Naval Personnel"

"Oh are you part of the military?"

"Yes but not in this world….oooh my food is ready" he said as he touched the MRE which was hot making him flinch. He poured the pasta into his bowl, and started eating

"How is it?" she asked

"It's good" he said

"Well i gotta go back to work. I don't want to get in trouble" she said "It's nice meeting you"

"You too…...wow she is the first nice person I ever met in this world. Man this world is strange. A place where magic exists. I wonder if the forerunners were here before"

"Unlikely, according to my data, I don't sense any forerunner nor any covenant species in this world"

"Thank goodness, Those Movies are nothing but trouble"

Saito sorta has a Xenophobe problem, due to the Covenant killing his close friends, but having problems with humans in this world could increase his Xenophobia problem. As he was finished eating, he put the MRE kit into the trash. Later Louise made her presence making Saito roll his eyes as he shakes his head.

"Where have you been?"

"Got breakfast"

"Where?"

"Why should I tell?"

"Because I am nobility, and you are…..;."

Saito interrupted the noble as he asked what the students in the courtyard were doing. Louise explained that the second year has a day off, a time to bond with their familiar. Saito insisted that they should skip that since the two aren't going anywhere. His next objective was to get into contact with the UEG, hopefully he can contact his people, but then all of the sudden, a first year student named Katie has asked Saito where Guiche was. Saito pointed at the direction on where he was, so without Guiche knowing, Katie walked up to him

"Hi Guiche"

"Oh hey, how have you been?" he nervously asked Guiche's girlfriend, named Montmorency, or Guiche calls her Monmon.

"I brought my homemade souffle just for you. I've been thinking about you the whole night, and I was hoping we could eat it together at the tea party."

"Last night?!" Monmon said "Guiche what is going on?"

Katie turned her head to Montmorency "he said that he wanted to go on a date with me and told me he was single so, I made a souffle for our first date"

"YOU HAVE BEEN TWO TIMING!" Montmorency was building up anger

"How could you Guiche, you lied to me" Katie was starting to get upset, then later the two girls slapped Guiche leaving him a red mark on his face as everyone started laughing at him.

"That's what happen if you get caught, you face the consequences" he said "that is the logical answer that you will never understand"

Guiche was angry that this peasant destroyed his honor, and his plan for hitting on girls. "You there made these girls upset. This is your fault"

"Excuse me,"

"You don't even know how to make a proper respect for a noble"

"The truth is this is all your fault"

"Do tell, but I challenge you to a duel peasant"

Did he just say he wanted to duel him. Surely this boy was nuts, picking a fight with a Spartan with intense training who fought tougher aliens in space. Saito just laughed out

"HAHAHAHAHA kid If you duel with me, you're going to be sent home with many bandages all over your body trust me."

"Your nothing but a peasant, prepare yourslef. I will be waiting at Vestari Court in 10 minutes."

"Looks like he's asking for it" he said as Louise walked up to him, she doesn't look too happy about it

"What are you doing"

"I am going to fight him"

"Guiche is a noble, and you are a peasant."

Saito was getting really annoyed with that name, Peasant. Maybe he wants to start calling Louise something else, not Zero, but how about Primitive, yes Primitive would be a great name.

"Louise I fought countless endless battles, and dueling with Guiche is basically playing god mode. Do you remember the Covenant Story, if I can beat these bastards, surely I can beat a lowlife primitive like Guiche"

"Are you sure you can do this?"

"Absolutely" he said
