Toshimine Izuku: Origin
It was devastating to be abandoned for something they can't help.
For something she was born with.
It started with astral projection at first. She could go anywhere she wanted unseen or she can make others see her in holographic form.
She then tried other things and learned how far she can go.
For now, in the Quirk Registry, she can 'do' Astral Projection.
But the truth was far, more complicated.
Too complicated for her mother as her daughter began losing her emotions and began talking like an AI on TV like in those movies, and became coldly clinical and logical...but goal-driven caused by what emotion she had left before it was gone.
They were no longer Midoriyas because she made it happen upon learning how and where from her mother.
They were now Toshimine. A name meaning 'distant peak'. 'Toshi' being the nanori reading of the kanji 遠 and the mine was 峰. Inko became 因弧 and Izuku became 泉垢.
Their neighbors who knew them wondered how they afforded a name change because those are expensive.
Inko would just say, 'After what our family did to us, its money well-spent.' she said sadly when in reality, she hasn't spent a single yen and still has no idea how her daughter did it because Izuku claims she changed their names and even had supporting documents delivered to their apartment to her disbelief which made her doubt her daughter's quirk. 'There are no more true Heroes in this world.'
They also left the neighborhood as to protect Izuku from 'how cruelly insensitive' children can be at school for what wasn't her fault. Her so-called fault being abandonment for not having a quirk to get into the money-spinning Hero profession! In short, Midoriya Hisashi treated his own child as a money investment to become rich one day through his child if he or she has a powerful quirk!
The neighbors and some friends were disgusted. Bakugo Mitsuki ensured everyone knew why the remaining Midoriyas left and demonized Midoriya Hisashi's name, and her husband taught his son patiently regarding why his first friend left and how to see it properly as a good person, not as a 'greedy, bad person' and took him out of Kindergarten for home-tutoring to raise him into being a good kid as kids are very...impressionable at a young age. He only started school at seven years old, in time for grade one.
Thus fate changed for both children.

Inko's eyes popped one day when she went to withdraw what she thought was her remaining money in her account as she wanted to find a good job after abandonment or she and her daughter will be in trouble.
Her bank account contained 600.000 yen when she thought she has about over 150000 left...
'After abandoning us he sent us this much money?!'
'No mom. It's all me.' said Izuku, looking up at her. Inko looked at her four years old daughter.
'H-how, dear?'
'Stock Trading and blatant cheating online without getting caught.' Izuku's eyes glowed. 'Your account actually has 32 million yen with monthly drops of 600.000 yen into your ATM.'
'H-huh?! But how?!'
'I call my true Quirk Synaptic Net Dive. I lied about Astral Projection.' said Izuku. 'Because it was for my own good. Had Midoriya Hisashi known what my true quirk was and how we learned how greedy he was for money by exploiting his own blood, we'll be financially-abused.' Inko choked in horror at that into near sobs, and it was especially mortifying with how her daughter now talks when before, she used to be a cheerful girl. 'I project my consciousness and dive into the world of data and from there I can gain all information I can ever want along with altering any form of data on my whims. I changed our names, made it look like we paid and 'went legal', that the Midoriya we used to be ceased to exist and I created a dummy account to trade online and 'guessed' to earn big as stock trading is basically gambling anyway. With this, we're set for life.'
'Izuku...' Inko looked tearful. 'You saved both of us.' she hugged her daughter. 'We'll be alright...right?'
'Affirmative, I made sure of that.'
'What else can you do?'
Apparently she wasn't limited to the internet. As long as it has a network, she can hack into it...and project illusions, create and alter anything she acknowledges as data...

In a small, but modestly-luxurious house...
It cost them around 900 thousand in the beginning.
A 3LDK property. Deposit, Key Money, Agency Fee, Guarantor Fee and Insurance plus Rent. Good thing some fees are one-time only fees! Sooo their ACTUAL RENT is 450.000 a month. It came with Air Conditioning and Heater for winter, 2 bathrooms, cable, internet connection, gas, phone, pets are allowed, and a dream kitchen. Owning your OWN house and lot is a luxury only the rich and A-List Heroes can afford.
And they furnished it with furniture, electronics and appliances a woman dreams of having, gadgets and clothes.
Their home was near three schools. Elementary, Junior High, and U.A High School in particular, was just 20 minutes away!
Inko took to Home-Based Freelancing work while after all that spending, Izuku took 50 million from Stock Trading again for the sake of hospital insurances and of course, school expenditures and she never did so again because her mother wanted to 'do something' as she feels bad that Izuku is working and not her when she's supposed to enjoy her childhood. But given their new name, it was symbolic on Izuku's part. That they distanced themselves from the bog they were in and family who abandoned them, and now live the high life Midoriya Hisashi clearly cannot give, considering his desire to exploit his own kid to be his personal wallet.
However, what Inko did not know, is that from all those Diving, Izuku was changing and not for the good. It was something she noticed over time.
Evident in the way she talked. 'Yes' and 'No' became 'affirmative' and 'negative' when she answers questions. Inko felt her daughter talks like a robot and the ability to express emotions even if her morality was very high and is still kind through action.
Even worse, with data Izuku gained online and she can save data in her Quirk Memory as she gained a giant memory storage because of her Quirk which she can delete any time she wanted, they cannot go to a Quirk Specialist or Therapist or she'll be prey to Villains and the HPSC and Izuku is painfully-aware that Hawks was a child soldier since he was six years old and he was 'the pet bird' of the committee and he was powerless. Izuku was more valuable to the HPSC and her fate would be worse than Hawks if doctors blabbed about her Quirk. Those guys report DIRECTLY to the HPSC if notable quirks were found in children and were snapped up to prevent fall to Villainy while exploited by the government!
Sooo nope.
'Mother, leave this be. This is merely a side-effect and power does not come free nor cheap.' Izuku would tell her dismayed mother. 'I understand that I became this way due to computer interactive influence but some things just cannot be helped. Everything will be alright. Let's just focus on living a better life than anyone else will. They say that the best revenge, is to have it better than they ever will.'
Indeed, Inko thought. They have a better life now.
From that tiny apartment they used to have, they now live in a house-for-rent with everything a woman and girl can dream of. Eat food a normal household cannot afford. And the Garage became Izuku's workshop for gadgets and equipment. Inko uses a Scooter and that's not much space-consumption in the workshop and Izuku has strap-on rollerblades with great support and braking she made herself for commuting. Adjustable for all types of shoes she has.
She also trained her body to peak physical performance without losing her feminine beauty upon gaining information how and ate well to match, planning her family menu while still delicious, was beneficial to the whole body. She focused on brain, eye-friendly and estrogen-loaded food, before transitioning into food good for muscle and bone at age ten. She had disciplined herself strictly to prepare for the future as she would need skills to fight and get away respectively to survive on her own if the worst case happens.
And she goes to classy private schools where there was a safer learning environment come Junior High. Though in Elementary and Junior High when applying, the Admission raised an eyebrow due to the kanji in Izuku's name...and they had to explain the rationale behind the kanji in her name, gaining sympathy points but 'to avoid bullying', she writes her name in hiragana for her school life safety.
However, her social life was a bust, as she tended to creep people out with the way she talks, her expressionlessness and her brutal, blunt honesty. Thus nobody wanted anything to do with her beyond schoolwork.
However, one girl come Junior High tried to be friends with her. A girl named Toga Himiko. A girl with a twisted personality focusing on 'affection' which was blood-based. Her mind was 'altered' by her Quirk but puts on an act that society deems 'normal' as her 'personal normal' will lead to condemnation and ostracism and make her all alone which is what she did not want. She felt that upon finding a 'non-normal' person like her, she wasn't alone anymore!
And Izuku being Izuku, Himiko fawns and dotes on her because Izuku 'doesn't care about standards' and let her 'be herself' as long as she doesn't go stab-happy on her. But Izuku was painfully-aware that as Himiko turned down her offer of 'helping her' seal away 'parts of herself' as that means 'no freedom' because Himiko valued 'her normal' despite living in a shackling society, Himiko's dark future was inevitable. Himiko was aware of it too.
'Hey hey Izuuu...what'cha gonna do come High School?' Himiko asked Izuku on the rooftop while they leaned on the rails. 'I don't think I can hold back anymore~I think I'm gonna snap any day now~I haven't been with blood for so long...' she mused while looking hungry.
'U.A, Support Department.' said Izuku. 'I cannot be a Hero due to my Quirk anyway but at least mom and I will live comfortable lives come graduation.' she said. 'I don't care much for Heroes and Heroics.'
'Heee...how come~' Himiko asked, intrigued. 'Doesn't everyone wanna be a Hero?'
'...because my Quirk was worthless to get into the Heroic Industry, my father abandoned me and my mother, deeming us worthless and useless to him.' said Izuku. 'I was a mere financial investment and when that investment failed, his true colors showed. My parents fought and he stormed out leaving my mother crying.'
Himiko's face fell. She was horrified with that revelation. Her friend's quirk was 'Astral Projection' and she can make an astral copy of herself come out so she can be in two places at once. Definitely not a Quirk for Heroics, but she can make it visible and invisible so its perfect for gaining information. Perfect for the police force!
'Oh...'
'Mother picked up the pieces, having to be strong for both of us and she never remarried in fear she'll get a man like him again. Heroics is where greedy people go so we want nothing to do with Heroes. When people pursue the Hero Course, it was not for good deeds anymore but to get popular in the media, getting patents for merchandising, a huge commission per cases solved and money rains like water. Money speaks the loudest language that sometimes, I feel that the only true hero in the world is All-Might now. Everyone else just money-grubbers. I fear for what happens if he retires and is no longer No.1.'
'Well...there's that...' Himiko sighed glumly. 'If I go out someday, they'll catch me as just another notch on their records and a fat paycheck on my expense then.'
'Precisely.'
'I guess we can't meet anymore cuz' I'll get you in trouble.'
'Mm. Tell me when you're about to make it clear that you want out. I'll give you a nice pair of peeling knives as my final birthday present in advance but you'll have to get it from me at night.'
'Really?! Thank you!' Himiko squealed, glomping her best friend happily as Izuku accepted the 'true' Toga Himiko. 'I can get all blood I could want at long last~'
As a precaution, Izuku took care of that part of her memories so incase Himiko gets caught...she also deleted traces of her existential data on the knives to keep Psychometers off her back. At least she has a 'no murder attempt' on her free card because while emotionless, she treated Himiko right.
(Come graduation a month later, Himiko committed her first murder.)
