A/N: I've got something new for y'all. A good sexy summer read. I was listening to Kehlani's Gangsta and this is the result LOL. This is going to be fun, and a complete AU.

"Come in Anastasia."

Closing the door behind him, Ana pushed up her glasses before taking a seat. It was strange for her to be summoned to the hospital director's office, but she knew it was important to come. The older gentleman could see her trepidation, and laughed.

"I want you to rest easy, Ana. This is not a serious meeting. Well, it is, but not for you," he said which caused her to let out a breath.

"Sorry, sir. I've just never come up here. I've heard of the rumors."

"Oh, I see. Of the dragon breathing director? I cannot believe what the med students and what they gossip about. To be a group of smart individuals, they tend to revert back to elementary tactics to get ahead."

Honestly, Ana thought the same thing. She always ignored the rumors. However, when she came up to the quiet, sterile tenth floor, she did worry a bit.

"I ignore it, for the most part, sir," she said instead. The older man chuckled.

"As well as you should." The director pulled out a file. Ana saw his name attached and swallowed.

"I've read your file. Twenty -five years old. Graduated college at nineteen. Gifted and immediately accepted into medical school. Finishing your final year of residency this year. You've even helped cure and treat a patient that was suffering from severe depression. I would say that's a commendable job. It wouldn't be surprising to see you running your own ward in the next five years," he stated. Ana blushed at the compliment.

"Thank you, sir. It's what I've always wanted to do." Leaning forward the man placed his elbows on the table.

"I hope you don't mind, but why did you choose this particular field? Most young, intelligent women such as yourself try to be a surgeon or an ER doctor where the excitement lay. This could seem pretty tame." Smiling sadly, Ana shook her head.

"I don't mind. No one really asks me anyway. I chose this field because my mother suffered from a mental illness. My father didn't know how to properly handle her, deeming her crazy. It wasn't until she was admitted into a care facility that we found out the truth. She suffered from severe depression and schizophrenia. She died three years ago," she said before pushing her glasses back on her face.

"That is terrible. I am sorry for your loss. I can now see why you are so passionate about your work," he noted admiration in his voice. The man cleared his throat before pulling out another file. He slid it over to Ana.

"Take a look." Curious, she opened the file, gazing over the contents.

Name: Christian Grey

Age: 29

Condition: Bipolar disorder

State of the patient: Very cold, and calculating. Holds an air of aloofness. He stands by the statement that he was not responsible for murders. Claims his innocence.

Personality type: Exhibits signs of extrovert, and introvert. He could be both. I would say he is an INTJ

There were other notes left by other doctors and Ana skimmed over them before closing it. The case did sound interesting.

"What do you think?" The older man said.

"I think I cannot get an honest assessment of the man unless I speak with him for myself." A brow raised, the man leaned back in his chair.

"And you don't trust your colleague's notes?" At that, Ana shook her head.

"With all due respect to you Director Jones, I've learned to never judge a patient by what's in their file. It's best to speak with the source first before making any rash decisions." Apparently Ana gave the right answer because the man smiled.

"That is why I think you'd be perfect for this case. I would like you to drop all of your other cases and focus on this man. The D.A. has another hearing coming up, and they want to make sure that they have all the evidence needed."

"Evidence?"

"They believe he killed a judge's daughter. They also want to prove he isn't insane. And you may be the person to do it."

Ana went over the file several times after he left the director's office. She wanted to make sure that she had some clue of what she was working with. She didn't like how vague it was, and that was how she knew there was a lot left out. Or the man wouldn't be so forthcoming. Ana smiled at the security guard at the door.

"Hey, Jose." Surprise shone on the man's features.

"Dr. Steele. I haven't seen you around." Smiling Ana shook his head.

"I told you to call me Ana. And you wouldn't ever since you got that new position. Director of security? That's awesome. And very big." Smirking, he brushed his black hair back.

"Yeah, well. I have to make sure everyone is safe around here." Tilting his head he whistled.

"You working with Grey?" Nodding, the doctor frowned when Jose winced.

"What?" Ana said.

"Oh, nothing. I just hear he's difficult." Rolling her eyes, Ana opened the door before walking into the room, Jose following. It was the protocol that when dealing with an extreme case the head of security had to be present, and in the room. Taking his seat, Ana opened his file before glancing up.

And had to hold back her gasp of shock.

The man in front of her was absolutely beautiful. Dark brown hair in wild disarray. Sharp facial features and full lips. He was clean-shaven as well. The chains around his ankles and arms didn't even take away from his beauty. Ana saw the man's eyes widen in surprise before a smirk was in place. Ana knew what he thought by looking at her. Young, probably too young, even though she was twenty-five. Because of her small frame, and short stature most often mistook her for weak. Her life showed her that she was completely strong, knew the best way to get a patient to open up was to be completely up-front and non-confrontational. That was probably why the other doctors could barely get anything out of him. Keeping her eyes on Christian, Ana spoke firmly.

"Jose. I'm going to need you to remove the chains from my patient." Jose came to stand beside her.

"You sure Dr. Steele? I-"

"I'm sure. I would like my patient and me to talk with nothing between us." Sighing, Jose pulled out his keys before unlocking Christian. When the man's hands were free he rubbed them. Jose bent low and unlocked his ankles before taking the chains.

"Thank you, Jose. Could you leave us, please? Say for twenty minutes?"

"Dr. Steele I don't think that's a wise idea." Raising a brow Ana spoke to Christian.

"Mr. Grey, wouldn't you like to have a conversation without chains and in private?" The man studied Ana silently before nodding.

"Very well. You see Jose everything is fine. He's not going to mess up the one chance he has of not having shackles on him." Christian heard the veiled threat loud and clear and his mouth tilted a bit. He liked this doctor.

Jose sighed before nodding.

"I'll be outside if you need me."

"Thank you," Ana said sincerely. Once the door slammed shut Ana sat back in her chair.

"Mr. Grey. Tell me about yourself." The man snorted before sitting back in his chair. He ran his hands over his hair before shaking his head.

"Why do you call me that?"

"Call you what?"

"Mr. Grey. Everyone calls me by my first name." Pushing his glasses up his nose he frowned.

"But you didn't give me permission to do that. Only when a person gives them permission should they use the name. I am not one to assume," Ana said before settling in her chair. Christian was surprised but didn't comment on that.

"Aren't you going to read my file?"

"I already did. I didn't see anything that was worth repeating."

"Well, doctor let me break it down for you. I didn't kill Leila. But I was framed to make it look like I was. Because I suffer from bipolar disorder and the judge knew this, seeing as how it was his daughter, he made sure to send me to a place that I would find terrifying."

"So this multiple personality thing is false?"

"Yes. I do not have multiple personalities."

Ana sat back, crossing a leg over his knee.

"Well, the file says that your DNA was all over the bedroom and crime scene."

"That's not possible."

"Why?"

"Because I wasn't there that night. But I know who was. My supposed friend." Now it was Ana's turn to be surprised.

"How would your friend have gotten a hold of your blood?" Leaning forward Christian spoke darkly.

"Because she was obsessed with me."

"I see."

"I never wanted to be with that woman. We were business partners, nothing more. She thought after I broke up with Leila I would want her. But I never did, and told her that."

Ana was silent waiting for him to continue. "I'm not saying I'm an all-around good guy. But I don't shed innocent blood."

"Are you saying that you've killed in the past?" Ana questioned.

"Did I say that?" Christian said, smirking. Ana ignored that.

"So. You're telling me that because the judge was biased because you were with his daughter before she died is the reason you are here. You have bipolar disorder, which I can help treat by the way, but you do not suffer from multiple personalities. And you did not kill her. Did I get it all right?"

"Word perfect." When the two settled into a comfortable silence Christian tilted his head.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm processing. Because I want to help you but I need to make sure you're telling the truth."

"You think I am?"

Ana was quiet for a while longer before nodding.

"I do. But I need you to understand something, Mr. Grey. If I am to help you, transparency is the key. You have to 100% with me and I will do the same. Otherwise, this is not going to work."

Disbelief was on Christian's face.

"Wait a second. You're going to actually help me? Why?"

"Because I'm not a fan of people getting punished for others' mistakes. If you are telling the truth, I will send this to the right people. But be patient. When is your next hearing?"

"My lawyer told me four months." Nodding, Ana stood.

"We've got some time then. I will be by to meet with you tomorrow. Then we can discuss your disorder."

Before Ana could raise her hand to knock on the door Christian spoke.

"You can call me Christian."
