Chapter 1

It's been one year since they decided to give it a go, once she came back from NY they both could no longer ignore their feelings. As soon as she landed he was there to pick her up. What Jay wasn't expecting was for Hailey to launch herself into him much less was he expecting their first kiss to happen at the arrival gate of O'Hare airport. That night solidified their feelings for one another, they spent hours talking about their mutual feelings. It was also that night that they officially began to date. It came as no surprise to the rest of the team that Hailey and Jay were finally together, the district had a long bet going. Voight ended up being the winner as he predicted that they would get together as soon as Haley landed in Chicago. He made it a point to tell the partners that if their work was negatively affected by their romantic relationship he would personally see to it that they be separated. Luckily for the partners both their working and romantic relationship flourished throughout the year.

"Hails?" asked Jay as he walked in the door to their recently bought home.

"In the bedroom!" yelled back Hailey. Jay began to walk to their room and immediately embraced hailey in his arms, he had just seen her an hour ago but he missed her

"Hails we don't have anything planned for tonight do we?" Jay questioned, the guys from the 51 and from the team were meeting up later on at Mollys to catch up after a long week.

"Did the guys finally convince you to go out?" Hailey laughingly questioned as she leaned away from Jay's hug to lightly tease him, it was no secret to anyone that they liked to spend every minute together but she wanted him to go out so she could enjoy a nice glass of wine while in the bathtub. A little alone time never killed anyone.

"Yeah, Will is super excited about it, plus Adam and Kevin spend the last hour non stop teasing me about never going out with the guys. Jay grimaced at the memory of Adam and Kevin rolling with laughter at how whipped he was when it came to Hailey, but who wouldn't be with Hailey as a girlfriend? He wanted to change her title to fiance soon enough.

"Go enjoy a night with them Jay, I'm going to have a nice bath and then head to bed anyways" Hailey not only wanted a night in but also wanted him to spend some time with Will, after the whole Natalie and Phillip fiasco, Will deserved a night out with the guys and that included Jay.

"I'm going to hop into the shower and then pick up Will on the way there, wanna join me?" Jay smirked.

"You and I both know that if i join you in the shower you won't meet the guys at Molly's." Hailey laughed knowing that with both of their wandering hands the shower would quickly turn into a night alone.

"Kill joy" Jay laughed and began to walk to the bathroom to shower. Before he turned the door knob Hailey yelled back behind him, "by the way if you end up drinking a little too much just spend the night at Wills ok?"

"Yes, mom' he responded while walking into the restroom, there was no way he would stay at Wills instead of coming home to the woman he loved.

"Jay! Will! Over here!" yelled Kelly Severide across the bar. Both Jay and Will laughed at how excited he was, they both walked over to the booth that was occupied by Severide, Casey, Gallo, Cruz, and Kevin and Adam.

"Look who was let out by the old ball and chain!" Adam laughed along with the rest of the guys, both he and Kevin made sure to tease Jay at any opportunity. Although they were happy for Hailey and Jay they made it a point to point out how whipped Jay was.

"Yeah yeah" quickly responded Jay with a slight blush on his cheeks. The rest of the guys seemed to notice which only spurred on their laughter. Will joined right in which earned him a shove by his younger brother.

"Let's get the night started guys, another round Herman!" shouted Casey at Herman who was leaning over the bar laughing right along with the guys.

For the next couple hours they guys had laughs at Jay's expense but also had some much needed guy time to simply relax and catch up. After a long week of long shifts it was much needed. Slowly one by one each of the guys left the bar to prepare for their following work day. Somewhere around 12PM the only ones left were Jay and Will. Will was venting about the whole Natalie situation. Jay sat and listened to him knowing that he needed someone to talk to, but all he wanted was to get home to Hailey. As Will leaned over the bar to try and get Hermans attention Jay noticed a familiar face staring back at him over the counter. It was Camilla Vega.
