To those who like Onward, I've seen a few remake stories and

Now this Story won't be in my Negaverse, rather, it'll have it's own seperate universe

Anyway, with that said and done, please enjoy ^^

Prologue

Long ago...

The world was full of wonder.

Years ago...

In a land full of mythology...

A winged Unicorn soared through the skies, neighing...

It was adventurous...

A herd of Centaurs galloped over towards a huge lake at great speeds...

Exciting...

Mermaids were swimming within the lake...

And best of all...

And little sprites were flying, squeaking with delight as they flew through the air.

There was magic.

Upon the cliff, a lone wizard stood, holding his staff before pointing it towards the sky. "Boombastia!" The wizard incantated, conjuring a bunch of fireworks within the skies for everyone, like Mermaids, Fauns and all the magical creatures within the land, to gaze upon with amazement.

And thst magic help all in need.

A family of goblins were trying to light a fire, but no luck came from doing so. Luck however, was on their side as a saytr witch came passing by to see them struggling with the fire. "Flame Infernar!" She incantated, lighting up the fire for the goblins and making them all happy.

During a grand quest

A cyclops wizard, a rogue faun and an elven knight stood on guard as they climbed down the stairs to claim a golden goblet. However, the ground suddenly shook, revealing to be the rumbles of a gigantic dragon's steps. The mythical beast blasted a bread of fire towards the Knight and the Rogue, thankfully, the elven knight was able defend herself and the rogue from the blast.

"Voltar Thundasir!" The wizard incantated, firing a blast of thunder at the ceiling which caused a cave-in and blocked the dragon on the other side. The elven knight was then free to take the treasure from the pedastool.

A pair of wizards were walking home during the evening, and one of them was kind enough to light up the house of a gnome, who gratefully thanked them both. The cyclops wizard attempted to cast the spell himself...

But he ended up nearly burning himself after the first try.

But, it wasn't easy to master...

The elven wizard then picked up the staff and was about to give it back to it's rightful owner...only to stop when the two wizards noticed a group of people in a nearby shed for some strange reason.

And so, the world found a simpler way to get by.

It turned out that a satyr had invented something that would possibly change everything. "I call it...the light bulb." She said, switching on a lever that caused a single object to light up without any magic. Everyone was very impressed by this and this also attracted the attention of the cyclops wizard, who tried it out for himself. "Tis so easy." He said with excitement.

The elven wizard on the other hand, seemed impressed but very suspicious about it.

Over the years...

More and more facinating inventions began to exist whilst less and less magic was being used in the world of magic.

Now there were stoves, that people found to be useful.

Remote controled fireplaces for anyone, including a goblin family,

Overtime...

An Arcade for teenagers or kids,

Pools for Mermaids,

Magic faded away.

Airplanes, factories, highways, vehicles and many many more.

Present Day

New Mushroomton

The paperboy, a grey troll rode his bike, making the paper rounds for people in the neighbourhood of mushrooms whilst a pair of unicorns, having devolven over the years, chewing on garbage. Or at least until one of them caused the pair to get mad and started a chase.

Over in one of the houses, a red mushroom house...

But I hope...

An alarm went off from a phone, and someone's hand shut it off.

There's a little magic left...

The person then put on a digital watch and adjusting how tight it was after getting changed into his clothes. He then flipped his shoe and slided it onto his foot before putting a greyish-silver on.

In you.

The person was a light blue elf with dark blue fuzzy hair, brown eyes and a pair of pale pointy elf ears. His name was Ian Lightfoot, a just-turned 16-year old elf whose birthday was today. After grabbing his bag, he then went downstairs to start the day, unknown to him, that this day would turn out to be an adventure.

ONWARD

Aaaaand, there we have it ^^

Now this won't be like the film itself, rather, a few things will be changed.
