Shibuya General Hospital, Emergency Room

July 27th, 8:03pm

After nearly an hour of horrendous traffic, I had finally made it to the hospital where Kirito was sent to. With the suspense killing me, I ran into the Lobby and approached the front desk.

"Excuse me!"

"I'm looking for a boy named, Kazuto Kiriguya." I asked.

A man was in charge of the front desk during the evening shift, but was occupied with a magazine. The magazine was some kind of fashion one with a teenage girl on the cover. The girl seemed around my age and was doing a salute with an American flag background. She had long honey hair; which were tied up in twin ponytails and wore a black tank top that said "U.S.A" on it.

"Asuna?"

Fighting the urge to pull the magazine away from the man, a familiar voice called out to me nearby. I turned to my right and spotted a dear friend of mine staring at me with a curious face. A short black haired girl who was around my height, but had bigger breasts at me. She was a dear friend of mine, but was also Kirito's non-biological sister.

"Suguha!" I exclaimed, walking up to her.

"I guess you're also here to see Kirito too, huh?" Suguha figured.

"Is he okay?" I asked in a concerning tone.

"I was just about to go see him." The black haired sister answered.

"He's up on the third floor in Room 512." She mentioned.

With the room number being recorded in my head, I followed "Leafa" to where the elevators were located. It took a moment for one of the elevators to arrive, but the doors opened for one of them, allowing us to enter. Suguha then pressed the "5" button, causing the door to close and start our ascension.

"So, Suguha." I turned to Kirito's sister.

"Hm?" She muttered.

"Did Yui tell you about Kirito?" I asked.

"She did." Suguha nodded.

"In fact, she told me where Kirito was when I arrived." She mentioned.

"I'm sorry if she interrupted your plans tonight. If you had any" I apologized.

"There's nothing to be sorry about, we would've found out even if Yui didn't tell us." Suguha responded, giving me a warm smile.

"And besides, Kirito's my brother!" She exclaimed.

"I love him as much as you."

Suguha then placed a hand on my right shoulder, calming me down a bit as I smiled back. My cheeks began to blush shades of red as I felt the comforting feeling warm my heart. There was no other person I would see Kirito with than his own sister.

Floor 5, Room 512

"Well, here we are!" I gulped.

My hand grabbed the silver handle of the black door that said, "512" above. Beyond the door laid my Kirito resting in a hospital bed. A single twist of the door handle was the last thing I needed to do in order to see my beloved, but for some reason I couldn't do it. The fearful possibilities made me nervous to see the young man I loved so much.

"Everything will be alright." I heard Suguha say, feeling her hand on my shoulder again.

A warm smile spread on my face once again; which gave me the courage to open the door. With a twist of my hand, I turned the handle and pulled the door open. The room itself was simply a generic hospital room with a light green curtain to our right and a large window showing a nice view of Shibuya. There was even a black backpack resting near the window. However, the reason we entered the room was the person in the center.

"Kirito." I whispered.

Resting in the bed was my future fiance. A steady beeping rhythm could be heard from the heart monitor as wires were attached to his chest, letting us know that he was still alive. Unfortunately, he was still unconscious with his black eyes closed.

"Kazuto." Suguha whispered.

The more I saw him out cold, the harder it got to sustain my emotions. With the suspension drowning me, I ran to the left side of the bed and grabbed Kirito's hand, planting my face next to it. Tears of worry began to flow out from my eyes as I wrapped my fingers around his smooth hand.

"Everything will be alright, Kirito." I sobbed

And with that, I had my mind made up for the night. It didn't matter when visiting hours was going to end. My evening plan was to simply be with Kirito as long as I could. I just wanted to see him recover and wake in front of my eyes.

"Mmf."

Surprisingly, the waking had come way sooner than I expected. A weak groan was heard next to me as I felt Kirito's hand flinched. I lifted myself in disbelief, but the sight of my beloved was enough to cheer me up.

"Kirito?" I whispered, blinking my eyes.

Kirito's head slowly shook a little as he made some more groaning noises. He then moved his left hand over to his face, gently feeling his smooth face before opening his eyelids. My excitement almost caused me to jump to fiance's face for an embracement, but the first word he spoke had me confused for a moment.

"Titania."

"Titania?" Suguha responded.

It was a name that Kirito's sister didn't recognize, but it was one I remembered well. After the SAO incident, three hundred survivors got transferred over to another VR MMO game called, "ALFheim Online". An MMORpg game where players can fly and fight as fairies. A game that my father's company "Rec Progress" developed.

Although it was a game that my father's company made, the head of the R&D team, Sugou Nobuyuki was the Game Master and was secretly conducting mind control experiments on those players. I was his special subject as he tried to keep me caged in his game and be his "Queen Titania". If Kirito hadn't rescued me, my life would have been a horrible, depressing one.

"Gah." Kirito gasped.

Thankfully, the terrible nickname seemed to fade out of Kirito's mind as he shook his head for a moment. After that moment, he slowly turned back to me with a curious stare.

"Asuna? Suguha?"

"Is that really you?" Kirito wondered.

What Kirito got next was something that any girlfriend would give to their lover. I simply gave him a warm embrace, letting him know it was the real me. Whatever he experienced was over and I just wanted to show him how worried I was about him.

"Don't scare us like that again!" I sobbed some more.

"I'm sorry,...but"

"But maybe you shouldn't be hugging me at this time." Kirito muttered.

By my surprise, I felt Kirito's hands grab my waist and try to push me away. My body felt some weak pushes, but since I knew that his strength wasn't fully regained, I obeyed my lover's order. At first, I assumed he just wanted some space to recover, but little did we know that there was more to it than just him healing.

"S-sorry." I responded, wiping some of my tears away.

"I guess I should give you some more time for you to recover." I replied.

"No, it's just that…" Kirito studdled.

"It's just that I don't wanna hurt you."

"What do you mean, Kirito?" I blinked all concerned.

"What happened over at Soul Corp.?" Suguha wondered.

Due to his lack of energy, we were given a brief summary of Kirito's day. But more importantly, we were given more information on the strange app and the world that lied beyond it. Although it was mostly what Yui told me, we were given some new info on the Black Swordsman's new job.

"What does the app look like?" Kirito's sister asked.

A ringtone was then heard from nearby, turning our heads over to the other side of the bed. A black backpack was lying beside the window as Suguha went over to examine it. She pulled out a ringing black smartphone from the left pocket of the bag and tapped the screen to turn it on.

"This is the app." A high pitched voice spoke from the phone

"Huh?" Suguha muttered.

Upon hearing Yui's voice, I went over to Kirito's sister to see the app. A flashing red app was on the bottom of Kirito's phone screen, hypnotizing Suguha with its strange eye. The eye itself looked like an Egyptian eye symbol, flashing at us to press on it. I saw Suguha struggling to put her left main finger on the icon, only to have Yui calling out to her to stop.

"Don't touch it!" My virtual daughter cried.

"Huh?" Suguha flinched.

"Activating that app will send you to wherever Daddy got sent to!" Yui warned.

"Have you seen what kind of world they're working on, Yu?" The raven haired girl wondered.

"I'm sorry, but the app is preventing me from accessing The Ai answered.

"However, I was able to obtain some information from Soul Corp's system while Daddy was working." She exclaimed.

"Really?" I replied.

"Apparently, it's not even a virtual world that Daddy was in." My child revealed.

"HUH?!" Suguha and I cried.

"It's some kind of cognitive realm that they call, The Metaverse; which is somewhat linked to the minds of humans." Yui clarified.

"The Metaverse?" I spoke.

"A cognitive realm?" Suguha blinked.

Just the thought that Kirito got sent to a non-gaming world made me feel sick in the stomach. I turned back to my beloved and became even more concerned for him. The more I watched him groan in pain just made me want to know where the hell he went to. It also made me worry about how dangerous this "Metaverse" was.

"And that's not even the strangest thing." The Black Swordsman said.

"W-what do you mean, Kirito?" I asked.

"The area where they sent me to felt like a more realistic world of ALO." Kirito mentioned.

"ALFHEIM ONLINE?!" Suguha and I gasped.

My eyes widened to what was being processed inside me. As tough as it was to swallow the possibility of an alternate version of ALO existing explained why I was called that nickname I wanted to forget. But what was really scaring me was the possibility of a "Queen Titania" living in that world.

"I was then captured by guardians that look like the guardians from ALO and the last thing I remember, I felt a strange presence inside me helping me escape from…" Kirito paused.

The Black Swordsman slowly turned to me; which gave me the fear I didn't want to know. Upon seeing his concerned, yet serious face, I knew there was another version of me who lived in the Metaverse.

"You saw another Asuna?" Suguha gasped.

"No." I shook my head slowly.

"He saw Queen Titan." I clarified
