Leo yawned. He had stayed up all night working on his table, Buford, after Percy (curse you, Aquaman!) tripped over it trying to get to the pancakes. It had messed up Buford's wires completely because Percy had been running so fast to get them before Frank.

Annabeth had scolded him, but he gave her his baby seal eyes, and she finally relented. Leo, on the other hand, was devastated. How could a perfectly good table be ruined? What had Buford ever done to Percy? Needless to say, Leo had fixed Buford as fast as he could.

At around 3 in the morning, he had finished up and looked at Buford with fatherly pride. Then, he hit the sac, still in his work clothes, only to wake up 10 minutes later to Hazel looking at him with wide eyes. "Yo, Hazel, I need some shut eye, so can we do whatever tomorrow?" Hazel shook her head. "There was a big lightning bolt that struck the space right next to the ship, and it wasn't Jason, nor was there any storm ."

Leo hopped out of bed and dusted off his shirt, not bothering to comb his unruly hair, and ran to the saloon (like a living room) of the Argo II, where Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Nico, Reyna, and Coach Hedge were already standing.

Most of them were still in pajamas, except for Reyna (what else do you expect from our beloved praetor?). Percy was wearing armor over his clothes, Piper clutched a teddy bear in her hand, and Nico had his sword looking back and forth, waiting to kill someone (somebody's been staying around Coach Hedge for too long).

There was no rain outside, the night sky was dark and clear, except for the occasional lightning bolt that came close to the Argo II. Leo blinked in confusion and turned to Festus. "Do you know what's making that lightning come out of the air, buddy?" Festus's golden eyes turned towards Leo. "-.././..-/…" Leo blinked. Everybody turned toward him, waiting for an explanation. "Zeus? Zeus needs something?"

Annabeth gasped. "I think it has to do with a pandemic." Everyone turned their attention from Leo to her.

Just then, Zeus (or Jupiter, whichever) materialized on the deck. Hazel, Frank, Jason, and Reyna, as the proud, mature Romans they were, all knelt down on one knee. The Greeks were definitely not as respectful. Percy glared at Zeus, Annabeth rolled her eyes at Percy, Piper blinked a couple times as though she thought she was still dreaming, Nico frowned, Leo stuck his tongue out, and Coach Hedge, not recognizing him, raised his bat and yelled "DIE!"

Zeus facepalmed and flicked his hand. Hedge stumbled back like an invisible barrier had stopped him. He rubbed his head for a few seconds, and then chuckled nervously. "U-uh Sorry, Lord Zeus."

Zeus rubbed his temple. "I know this will affect your quest, but everything balances out, since immortals can also be infected. There is a coronavirus pandemic going around, and since we cannot afford to lose any demigods, you must stay inside all the time and you may not leave this ship. Is that understood? You are not allowed to mingle with anyone that is not among yourselves. Nobody is leaving or coming in. If you absolutely need to go out, wear a mask, gloves, and have hand sanitizer."

The people on Argo II nodded their heads, in a daze. Leo and Percy were thinking something along the lines of, "HALLELUJAH, VACATIONNNN!" The Romans were nodding their heads. "We will be loyal and follow Lord Jupiter's orders." Annabeth and Piper shrugged. Nico was thinking, "Oh gods. How long can I be with them without going completely nuts?"

Piper started. "So… whaddya people wanna do now?" Leo and Percy smiled evilly, and looked at each other as though they had formulated a plan in the last 2 seconds. Hazel looked at them nervously. "U-um, what are you planning to do?" Leo winked. "Don't worry about it, Hazelnut." Hazel frowned at this. "You thinking what I'm thinkin', bro?" Percy nodded. "It's time… to turn up the music."

They both rushed to the ship controls. "What are they doing?" Hazel asked. Reyna snorted. "They're probably doing something stupid." Annabeth nodded in agreement. Piper bit her lip. "I just hope they don't break anything." Jason hesitated before saying, "I'll go check on them." Nico smirked. "Well, I hope you survive." Jason gulped. "On second thought, I'll stay here."

The Argo II ate their breakfast in silence, until something broke the peace. "THIS GIRL IS ON FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRE! THIS GIRL IS-" the music turned off, and they could hear Percy's voice. "No,no. That's not a good one, let's play this one." Then another song started playing. "Under the Sea, under the-" A button was pressed. "Dude, this is better." Then Katy Perry started playing. "I've got the eye of the tiger, the fire-" Annabeth facepalmed and yelled, "Why don't you both use headphones and listen to what you want." There were some meows and crying babies. "Thanks, Annie, you're the best!"

"Oh gods, how are we going to survive?" Nico muttered. Like half an hour later, Leo then came running down to the dining table. "I had an idea! I'm going to create a device that can control a god."

Annabeth sighed. "Leo, you're crazy. You cannot make a device that can control a god. " Coach Hedge, on the other hand, was elated. "Do ya think Zeus will give me that new action movie? You're pretty cool, Valdez!" Leo crossed his arms and nodded.

Everybody stared at him dully. "Guys, that was your cue to give me sunglasses and applaud." Reyna snorted. "Like we would ever do that." Leo stuck his tongue out at her in response.

Then, a just woken Frank stormed into the dining hall. He looked at the 7, Coach Hedge, Reyna, Nico, and Buford, eyes narrowed. "Somebody pushed Frankie's buttons." Leo noted. Frank ignored him. "WHO STOLE MY UNDERWEAR?" he bellowed. Silence filled the room. "S-so, ya mean, you're not wearing underwear?" Jason asked awkwardly. Hazel literally nearly fainted.

Nico and Leo looked at each other, one poker faced and the other grinning maniacally. "Should we tell him?" Nico asked. Leo grinned. "You're telling." Nico shrugged. "Leo and I made a negotiation. If I shadow traveled into your room and stole your underwear, he would give me the latest Mythomagic cards that he may or may not have stolen."

In his rage, Frank yelled, "WANNA GO, DEATH BOY?" while whipping out his own impressive set of Mythomagic cards. Nico stood up grimly. "There is no going back now, Frank." They sat at the table to start playing.

Their audience looked at them with interest. "Frank's inner Mars has been unleashed." Piper whispered, Percy nodding vigorously in agreement. "I'm proud of 'em." Coach Hedge sniffled. Annabeth rolled her eyes. " For what, having a war over playing cards and underwear?" Jason. Silently and watched the show while eating peach preserves with brownies.

"I summon Zeus and do 600 damage to your hero." Frank played his card. Nico cursed under his breath. " I summon Apollo and take away the damage done to my hero."

The game had been going on for hours. Leo, Percy, and Annabeth were snoring. Hazel was searching up chicken nuggets on Annabeth's laptop. Coach Hedge and Reyna had gone upstairs to watch Power Rangers, and Piper and Jason were making out.

Finally, Nico said, "I summon Hades and obliterate your hero. I win." Frank got mad and stormed upstairs again, waking Annabeth, Percy and Leo up.

Annabeth saw Hazel on her laptop. "MY BABY!" She screamed, practically diving on top of Hazel and grabbing the laptop. Percy said, "Are they done? Are we dead? Where's the monster?" Jason and Piper continued making out.

They could hear Reyna, Frank, and Coach Hedge yelling upstairs. Apparently Frank had come to watch action movies with them.

Nico had gone up to his cabin and done the happy dance. The next day, they were all bored again.
