Chapter 10

AN:Thank you so much for the support. hope you like this chapter.

"Lin's landed on the basketball court," Trish tells everyone, and as she does Prue turns to Chris.

"Go, bring her back here," Prue says, and then to the surprise of everyone from the past Chris uses superspeed to go and bring Melinda to them, in seconds. In a blur, due to his speed, Chris puts Melinda on the couch, and once she stops moving almost faster than the eye can see it is clear that she is far from okay.

"Leo, Henry, she needs help. I don't know if she is breathing," Chris says, looking distraught as he takes a step back from his sister, and Cole puts an arm around his shoulder.

"We have to work together," Leo says, and both he and Henry approach Melinda, as he knows that might be Melinda's only shot. Once they are both close enough Henry and Leo both squat down and start to heal Melinda.

As everyone in the room have seen a person being heeled they all know how long it takes and with every second that draws out everyone becomes more and more concerned.

"Leo?" Piper asks, her voice breaking and so both Prue, and Past Prue, acting on instinct, put arms around their sister.

"It's working, it's just taking longer," Leo explains. "It feels like we're healing more than just what was done by the darklighter," Leo explains.

"It's the damage done by the blocks," Cole realises. "They were hurting her, now that they are gone you can fix the damage done," Cole explains.

"What are these blocks you keep talking about?" Paige asks curious.

"Long story, Mom," Phoenix tells her, being pretty sure that they can't get into it.

After almost a minute more of healing Henry and Leo manage to finish heling Melinda.

"She's heeled," Leo reveals.

"Then why isn't she waking up?" Penny asks, her voice breaking as she doesn't want to lose anyone else, and so Phoebe puts her arm around her daughter, and just as she does Melinda opens her eyes; but the first person she sees is Leo.

"I'm dead, right?" Melinda asks. "That's why you're finally here," Melinda comments.

"No, you're thankfully alive," Leo informs his daughter, who still clearly hates him, as she sits up.

"Gentle," Henry tells his cousin.

"I'm okay," Melinda assures her cousin, who she hugs. "Thanks," Melinda tells Henry as they hug.

"You never have to thank me," Henry says as they break apart.

"Are you okay? Do you feel okay?" Piper asks her daughter worried.

"Yeah, I feel okay," Melinda assures her.

"How does it feel without the blocks?" Cole asks, both concerned and curious.

"Um, I'm not really sure," Melinda admits. "When I first got rid of them I felt a rush of power, it how I escaped, but now It's kind of settled," Melinda admits, trying to figure out what it feels like. "I know I'm more powerful, but it feels right," Melinda explains. "But that doesn't mean I'm not any less afraid," Melinda admits.

"That's okay, Mel. Just don't let that fear control you," Prue informs her.

"I'll try not to, Aunt Prue," Melinda says. "So, nice to be worried about, but we have a lot bigger concerns than whether I am okay," Melinda explains.

"What do you mean?" Andy asks curious.

"Wyatt doesn't know you guys are here, but after my little goodbye present he is going to retaliate, and you guys can't be here when he does," Melinda admits, feeling worried for her family.

"Mel's right. We need to go back," Paige says.

"Then let's start figuring out our plan," Past Prue says, and that is exactly what everyone does.

About half an hour after the group at Sanctuary realised that they have to get those who belong in the past home as soon as possible, as everyone is figuring out the plan Melinda sees her brother go outside and so she follows him out.

"Just think, when you get back maybe we'll be able to stare at the view out of the manor, rather this one," Melinda comments, as she walks up to her brother.

"I don't think I should go back," Chris admits.

"Well that's the stupidest thing you've ever said, and trust me that's saying something," Melinda comments.

"Mel…" Chris says as he turns to look at her.

"Chris, you need to go back. They know about Wyatt now but that's not enough. If we want a chance at changing things then you have to go back," Melinda informs her brother, saying what he knows, but needs to hear. "You're the only one who can do this," Melinda tells her brother as she knows that.

"What about this version of Wyatt, huh? The evil version who you just royally pissed off?" Chris asks, as he knows his brother well enough to know that he is going to retaliate.

"I can handle Wyatt, and if you do what we need you to do then everything here is going to be okay; but the only way that's going to happen is if you go back," Melinda explains.

"She's right, Chris," a voice says and both Melinda and Chris turn to see Cole. As the two look at him Cole closes the door that leads inside and walks over to them.

"You have to go back, Kid," Cole tells him. "What we do here matters; and we're going to our best to make things better, but the only way to truly make things better is if you change this future," Cole tells him as like Melinda he knows that Chris is the only one who can do this.

"But what's going to happen here when I am trying to change things?" Chris asks worried. "Mel, you pissed of Wyatt, he's going to try to get his revenge. All three of us know that," Chris explains, sounding terrified about what is going to happen to his sister while he is gone.

"We'll handle it," Melinda tells her brother. "Tell him, Uncle Cole," Melinda requests.

"Mellie's right. We'll hold the line here, do what we have to do to keep Wyatt away and I promise I will do whatever I can to protect your sister; and the rest of our family," Cole explains, then he notices the annoyed look on Melinda's face. "Not that Mellie needs anyone's protection," Cole adds.

"Thank you," Melinda says to her uncle. "We'll be okay, Chris," Melinda tells her brother. "You've got to go back to 2003," Melinda tells her brother. "And I think you know that," Melinda says.

"Yeah, I do," Chris confirms, though he isn't happy about that.

"I'll be waiting when you get back, Chris. No matter what changes I'm always going to be your annoying little sister, who looks up to you, who looks forward to the day when the two of us can be as close to our big brother as Mom is to her big sister," Melinda tells her brother.

"That's the nicest thing you've said," Chris says, putting an arm around his sister, and kissing the top of her head. "I love you, Mel,"

"Love you too, Chris," Melinda responds, and once she does the two of them exchange looks.

"Love you, Uncle Cole," Melinda and Chris say together, smiling at him, and Cole walks over and hugs them too. While Cole is worried about things changing after Chris changes the future he has to believe that he will always be apart of the kids' lives, Melinda and Chris especially; as he cannot imagine not being.

Just as Melinda, Chris and Cole break apart they hear the door open and they see Piper walk outside.

"Hey Mom," Melinda greats, and Piper can't help but smile.

"Is everything okay?" Piper asks concerned.

"Yeah, Mel and I were just talking about what needs to happen," Chris admits.

"Oh," Piper answers. "Are you feeling okay?" Piper asks her daughter curious.

"Yeah, I feel good," Melinda admits. "Leo and Henry's heeling worked a trick," Melinda says.

"Good," Piper says and she walks over and hugs her daughter. "I love you so much Melinda. I am so proud of you, and so glad you are okay," Piper tells her daughter as she hugs her.

"I love you too," Melinda responds, treasuring every second of her mother hugging her as she has missed that, and she knows that soon it is something that she will have to say goodbye to again soon.

Once Melinda and Piper break apart Melinda uses one hand to take Melinda's hand while using the other to take Chris's.

"I am so proud of both of you, and I'm really looking forward to know you both," Piper says, and then she realises something. "All three of you," Piper says, glancing at Cole as she is interested in knowing the version of him that her future self considered her best friend.

"Well if that is going to be possible then we have to figure out this plan," Cole says, hating to break up the moment, but he is worried about Piper being in danger by staying in their time.

"Yeah, we do," Piper says, and after squeezing the hands of both Chris and Melinda, she heads inside, followed by Melinda, Chris and Cole where all three of them help work on the plan to get everyone who needs to go back to 2003.

About an hour after Melinda, Cole, Piper and Chris headed back into the house they are sitting around the living are with Prue, Past Prue, Andy, Paige, Phoebe, Leo, Trish, Henry, Peyton, Parker, Penny, and Phoenix.

"That's it, that's our plan," Prue realises.

"Mel are you strong enough to do your part?" Piper asks her daughter as she can't help but think that Melinda just needed heeling.

"Yeah," Melinda confirms.

"I really don't like the idea of you holding the line alone," Chris tells his sister.

"She won't be alone," Cole says. "I'm going with Mellie. We'll make sure you get through the portal safety," Cole explains as he cannot let Melinda do this alone.

"Why can't we do the portal here?" Penny asks.

"Because the spell will only work at the manor," Chris explains. "Even though Bianca was able to open it at her family apartment in the past the portal in this time was at the manor, which is where it needs to be," Chris explains to everyone.

"It's time, grab everything we need, and let's all head to the basketball court," Prue says, as she knows they will give everyone from the past the potions to get rid of the perception filters before they leave for the manor.

About five minutes after Prue said it is time to go the group of sixteen are standing on the basketball court.

"Here, you all need these," Melinda says as she hands everyone from the past the potion to get rid of the perception filter; and everyone takes them.

"So, this is it. Time we say goodbye again?" Parker asks and as she does Andy walks over and hugs her.

"I'm so proud of you, and I'm always going to be with. I'll be in your heart, and with you whatever you do," Andy tells his daughter as he hugs her. "Let your mom in, she loves you, and she more to understand you," Andy explains as he kisses Parker's head. "I love you," Andy tells his daughter.

"I love you too, Dad," Parker says and when she and her father break apart Parker walks over to the past version of her mother while Trish walks over to Andy.

As Trish walks over to her Dad Henry and Phoenix walk over to there mother, while Penny and Peyton walk over to their mother while Melinda and Chris do the same. Once all four of the sisters from the past have said goodbye to their children they walk over to the future version of Prue; as Chris walks over to his cousins and Uncle and says goodbye to them.

"Thank you," Phoebe says. "Thank you for everything you've done for our kids," Phoebe says.

"You never have to thank me," Prue says before hugging all three of her sisters at once. "I miss you guys every day," Prue says as she hugs them. "I love you,"

"Love you too," Phoebe, Paige, and Piper responds before the three of them break apart from Prue.

Once Prue breaks apart from her sisters, she walks over to where the past version of herself is standing with Andy; while Piper walks over to Cole.

"Thank you for everything you've done for my kids," Piper says, before hugging Cole.

"It was my pleasure," Cole says, as he returns the hug. "When you meet me again, my past self will need some ass kicking, make sure you give it to him," Cole says as he and Piper break apart, he also knows that his past self will need someone to believe in him, but he doesn't want to risk what happened in this timeline to not happen and so he doesn't say so.

"You know I will," Piper says, amused.

"You two are going to have an incredible life together; treasure it, to take for granted a single second," Prue says, as she looks between Andy and Past Prue, once she finally gets to them.

"We won't," Prue assures her future self, and as she does Andy steps forward and hugs the future version of his wife.

"Have a great life, Prue," Andy says as he kisses her cheek, and once he does the two of them break apart.

Once she breaks apart from Andy Prue looks at Melinda and Cole and nods.

"We'll say when to come," Melinda says before she disappears in orbs, and Cole disappears in his dusting teleportation.

Seconds after they left the basketball court Melinda and Cole arrive in the attic of the manor where thankfully there is still a quadquetra on the wall. As soon as Melinda and Cole appear, so do the demons. Reacting fast, as it is exactly what they were expecting, Cole sends Energy balls at them while Melinda blows them up, managing to blow up multiple at once thanks to her power boost.

"NOW!" Melinda says through the connection she shares with her cousins and seconds later, thanks orbing from her aunt Paige, brother and father the three of them, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Past Prue, and Andy appear together, as do more of Wyatt's demons.

"MEL!" Chris yells as he sees just how many demons his baby sister is fighting.

"Say the spell! Now!" Melinda calls as she and Cole keep killing demons and Melinda puts up a forcefield in front of her mother, brother, uncle, father, and aunts thanks to her duplicating power, though not before Chris lets out a couple of electric blasts, killing a few demons.

"Hear these words, hear the rhyme, heed the hope within our minds," Past Prue, Piper, Paige, Phoebe and Chris say together and as they do Wyatt appears.

"Defend them!" Melinda tells her Uncle.

"MEL!" Piper, and Chis yell, both sounding terrified.

"FINISH THE SPELL," Melinda calls back as while keeping the forcefield up she sends energy balls at Wyatt, who sends them back at her, but she also uses duplication to use deflection; truly testing the limits of her power.

"You're not that powerful little sister," Wyatt tells his sister, clearly shocked to see all the people in the attic.

"You're the one who said I was," Melinda says as she uses duplication to use regular telekinesis to send Wyatt flying.

"Send us back to where we'll find, what we wish in place and time," Prue, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, and Chris say, ending the spell, as the portal opens.

"GO!" Melinda yells as she tries to keep Wyatt at bay, but is struggling, and so her Uncle Andy, and Aunts Paige, and Phoebe head through the portal. However, both Chris and Piper look hesitant.

"Go! I'll protect her," Cole tells Piper, Chris, Leo and Prue, and they all head through the portal, Prue, and Leo having to practically drag Chris and Piper.

As they head through the portal it stays open because of the power used to cast the spell and as he wants to follow them Wyatt sends a huge blast of energy at his sister; causing her to fall to the ground, seriously hurt.

"NO!" Cole yells, sounding absolutely terrified, and so he uses telekinesis to bring Melinda to him. Once Melinda is in her arms Cole, doing the one thing he can think to do, hurries into the portal, and takes Melinda into the past as he knows it is her best shot. Thankfully as Cole dives through the portal, holding Melinda, it closes, making it impossible for Wyatt to follow them.

"Home sweet home," Paige says as she, Phoebe and Andy step out of the portal in 2003, only four hours after they left.

"Where's Prue, Piper, Leo and Chris?" Andy asks worried.

"They are probably worried about leaving Mel and Cole," Phoebe says and as she does Piper, Chris, Leo, and Prue walk through the portal, it being more than clear that Prue and Leo are practically dragging Piper and Chris.

"We should go back! Mel has never used that many duplicated powers at once!" Chris says, sounding terrified for his little sister.

"That was before she removed the blocks. Mel wouldn't have done anything she couldn't handle," Prue assures her nephew and as she does Cole carrying Melinda dives through the portal, and it closes.

"Cole?" Phoebe and Piper asks shocked as Chris hurries over to his sister and Uncle.

"Mellie needs heeling," Cole says, looking at Leo who hurries over and for the second time in a matter of hours he heals his daughter.

"Please tell me it's working," Piper requests.

"I'm okay, Mom," Melinda says, opening her eyes, and she starts to sit up, with Cole's help. "Are we in the past?" Melinda asks, looking around.

"Yep, welcome to 2003," Paige tells her.

"This is new," Melinda admits, looking around and feeling amazed at how together the attic is.

"Everything in the future is going to be freaking out," Cole says, sounding concerned.

"Can you use your connection to talk to Peyton, Henry and Trish?" Phoebe asks curious.

"I don't know," Melinda admits. "Let me try," Melinda says, closing her eyes.

Once her eyes are closed Melinda reaches for the part of her that feels Trish, Peyton and Henry. Usually they feel like they are right next to her, but as she reaches out for them Melinda realises they feel further away, but to her relief she can still reach them; it just takes more concentration.

"Guys," Melinda says.

"Lin? What's going on? Did they get through the portal?" Trish asks worried.

"Yeah, but Uncle Cole and I had to go with them," Melinda explains.

"What? You're in 2003? What happened?" Henry asks worried.

"Wyatt. We had had a bit of a fight. I was more than a little hurt; Uncle Cole brought me through the portal he thought it was best," Melinda explains. "I'm sorry you guys, I should be there to help keep everyone safe," Melinda says, feeling guilty.

"We'll be okay," Peyton assures her. "Help Chris make things better, we'll hold down the fort here," Peyton explains to her cousin.

"I'll do my best," Melinda responds. "I'll keep you updated, and you guys do the same for me," Melinda says, before opening her eyes.

"I take it it worked," Chris says as his sister opens her eyes.

"Yeah, it did," Melinda confirms. "Which means we'll be able to know for sure if we change things because we can ask them," Melinda says, feeling like that could be a good thing.

"What if you don't have the connection with your cousins once things are different?" Leo asks.

"As long as we exist we'll always have our connection," Melinda explains, causing her mother, aunts, uncle, and father to exchange looks.

"Where's Wyatt?" Leo asks.

"Darryl's," Andy answers.

"I'll go get him," Leo says, before orbing away as he figures everyone will be able to talk more freely if he isn't around as the adult versions of his kids hate him.

"So, what happens now?" Andy asks, looking around.

"We change things, make things better, all of us," Chris explains.

"Have you got a decent place for us to stay?" Melinda asks her brother.

"You can stay here," Piper says, as she wants her kids close. "All of you," Piper says, glancing at Cole as while it may be a little strange she figures that it is what is best for everyone.

"You guys can have my room," Phoebe tells them. "Going to the future was an experience I will always treasure, and I don't know if Jason is dad of those incredible young woman I met… and I don't want to know," Phoebe says, looking between Melinda, Cole and Chris, before they can say anything. "But seeing them taught me that I need to have both a life, and be a witch, and it is something I can do. So I'm going to go to Hong Kong," Phoebe admits.

"And I'm still going to move in with Richard," Paige admits, and as she does Prue and Piper exchange looks, neither liking the idea of their sisters leaving, but they know they have to support them.

"Well before we have to start packing, how about dinner; chicken parmigiana," Piper suggests.

"That sounds incredible," Melinda says, with a smile.

"It really does," Prue confirms, and once she does they all head downstairs and have an incredible dinner together. Everyone knows that they have a lot of complicated things to face in the future everyone also knows they can face what is to come together; both Halliwell's in the present and Halliwell's from the future working in unison

AN: So, this is the end of the story. I will be addressing what happens during the rest of season six in my Charmed With The Power of Four story, but I will not be up to season 6 for a while.

I also plan to eventually address the next generation in the new timeline, and while there will be a lot of similarities to this timeline version of the cousins, there will be differences (including additions) and i think a lot of you will be very glad with what is different so I hope you like what is eventually to come.
