The Advance Century

The creation of the first unified government over all humanity, the Earth Federation, marked the beginning of a new era: the Advance Century, and the beginning of humanity's expansion into space. However, it was also said to be the beginning of a new era of war.

Year 179 of the Advance Century calendar- The One Year War breaks out between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon, but is halted when the evolved-dinosaur that declare themselves as Dinosaur Empire rising from underground and declaring war against all kind of humanity. In the middle of the war against the Dinosaur Empire, an evil scientist named Dr. Hell creating his own giant mechanical troops called the Mechanical Beasts, declaring his ambition to conquering the universe.

The beginning of year 180 of the Advance Century - The war finally meets it's hand when the teams of three mechanical heroes [RX-78-2 Gundam, Mazinger Z, Getter Robo] able to push back and destroys the troops of Dinosaur Empire and Dr. Hell's mechanical armies. At the end of the war, the three mechanical heroes successfully killed Dr. Hell and eradicate the Hell Armies.

The heroes who pilot the three mechanical titans are Amuro Ray with the Gundam, Kouji Kabuto with Mazinger Z, and Ryoma Nagare, Hayato Jin, Musashi Tomoe, and substitute pilot Benkei Kurama, piloting the Getter Robo.

But the war is ended with sacrifices, one of the Getter Robo pilot Musashi Tomoe sacrifices himself to destroy all of the Dinosaur Empire troops. The creator of the Getter Robo, Dr. Saotome, also killed by Dr. Hell's troops near the end of the war. Mazinger Z also suffers severe damage from the war.

Year 186, Advance Century - An unknown entity came from deep space known as STMCs (Space Terrible Monster Crowd) suddenly appeared and terrorized the space colony. The new [Getter Robo G] piloted by Ryoma, Hayato, and Benkei and the new [Great Mazinger] piloted by Tetsuya Tsurugi aided with a space battleship called the Excelion battleship and the two young female pilots Noriko Takayama and Kazumi Amano, with their humongous mechanical giant [Gunbuster], join forces to defeat the STMCs.

But at the end of the war, Noriko Takayama and Kazumi Amano sacrifice themselves to destroy the core of STMCs. The STMCs destroyed and both of the pilots went missing without a trace.

Even after all of the threats from an unknown creature, the tension between Earth Federation and Spacenoids raised once again,

Year of 193, Advance Century - the rebuild Principality of Zeon or Neo Zeon, with their new commander the red comet Char Aznable, the rival of Amuro Ray in One Year War, declares war against Earth Federation and the purge of humanity that resides in the Earth.

Their first move is to drop the asteroid, Fifth Luna, on the Earth. Special task force Londo Bell, whose members include veteran soldiers Amuro Ray, attempt to prevent the catastrophe. Char is successful and the asteroid crashes into Lhasa, Tibet.

In the midst of the tension, Char revives the Mechanical Beasts and using the controlled corpse of Dr. Hell and Dr. Saotome, creating the 6000 meters giant malice known as [Shin Getter Robo G].

Knowing this, Kouji Kabuto with his rebuild Mazinger Z, Tetsuya Tsurugi with his Great Mazinger, and the trio Ryoma, Jin, and Benkei with their new [Shin Getter Robo] join forces with Amuro and the Londo Bell. Amuro also received a new private mobile suit, [RX-93 Nu Gundam].

A furious battle between Londo Bell and Neo Zeon erupts. Amuro and Char duel in their psycho-frame mobile suits, the Nu Gundam and [MSN-04 Sazabi], and Amuro defeats his long-time rival. Koji, the trio Getter pilot, and Tetsuya also successfully destroys all of the revamped Mechanical Beasts and killed Dr. Hell once again.

Unfazed with the defeat, Char and the controlled corpse of Dr. Saotome using the Shin Getter Robo G to continue the purge of the Earth. Running low on time and realizing that their situation was grim either way, the heroes attacked the Shin Getter Robo G in an attempt to stop Char's madness. Though they succeeded in stopping the Shin Getter Robo and killed Char Aznable, the incident cost the life of the heroes. Amuro Ray, Kouji Kabuto, Tetsuya Tsurugi, Ryoma Nagare, Hayato Jin, and Benkei Kurama killed at the end of the war.

Advance Century era, 500 - Unknown white mobile suit with a frame that looked like butterfly wings, destroys some of the space colony, and all of the technology that aided humanity. This incident is known as the end of Dark History, forcing the surviving Earth people to start again from scratch just like the prehistoric era.

Advance Century Era, 1000- All of the surviving Spacenoids migrates to Earth because the Space Colony began to lose their power. With the aid of surviving Spacenoids, the Earth and its people once again embark on the era of technology.

Humanity began to understand each other, the era of peace is surely coming. But then...

Advance Century era September 9, 1999 - A mysterious life forms with different sizes from small to large, suddenly appeared from the remnants of the space colony that fallen or buried on Earth's soil. Around the world, 108 of them simultaneously sprung out from the ground killing off men, plants, and animals.

The Federation named these monster [Kaijuu], and recognized them as hostile creatures,

Kaijuu's attacks, which occurred sporadically, are continually repulsed back by humanity with human civilization tactics and weapons. However, in the span of 15 years, Invaders were no longer an enemy man can fight against.

Kaijuu has undergone dramatic changes. In the blink of an eye, the power relationship with humanity has suddenly shifted. In just a few years, 1 billion lives also have been taken. World affairs changed in a flash. The word Peace cannot be found anywhere around the world. Like that, the turning point of humanity's inferior situation has arrived.

That is the acquisition of a weapon and the birth of a sacrifice. The birth of the sacrifice preferential suffering person [Chosen Children]. Humans that forcefully chosen as the soldier since their birth. Their sole purpose is for protecting the 'real human' from the threat of Kaijuu.

Governments of various began using Chosen Children as decoys since their top priority is to isolate and manage the Kaijuu. And, Advance Century era 2070, such measure still continues on-

-We still believe... someday, our brave heroes will return... through the oath sworn in courage!-

"The instrument panel's decoration – to let you know if you're facing front or back. The only thing you can really rely on is your eyes! And they're useless unless you use your brains! Understand? God help you idiots when you become pilots!"

With spits flying everywhere, a military man with an artificial left arm named Lieutenant Ralv, thundered at the five young pilot cadets standing at attention in front of him. But the young cadets were having a hard time concentrating; their empty stomachs were making too much noise.

The first of the young cadets is an athletic caucasian young man with blonde short-hair named Afranche Char, who felt a little bit nervous. This is his and other young cadets' last test before they can join the Frontline after spending a few years in the Federation Academy.

The second cadet is a teenager of average height with an athletic build, black eyes, and messy black hair. His name is Hino Yamato. From his smug expression, it shows that he really doesn't care and not listening to Lieutenant Ralv's rambles.

The third cadet is a teenager who also has an athletic build. He has wolf-like black eyes, black short hair, and bushy eyebrows. His name is Go Ichimonji. Right now he really tried to keep his anger. He really hates Lieutenant Ralv and his guts. But he knows Lieutenant Ralv have a gun in his pocket, if he acts rash and punching Ralv's face right now, Ralv will not going to hesitate to shots Go to death.

The fourth cadet is the shortest from all of the five cadets. He has short black hair, flat nose, and eyes that look like crocodile's eyes, and unlike his friends, he had green skin and scales in some part of his skin likes a reptilian. His name is Kamui Sho. From his calm demeanor, he's not intimidated with Lieutenant Ralv's rants.

The fifth cadet is tallest from the five cadets. He is a large-bodied young man with some noticeable muscles. He has short black hair in a crew cut fashion. His name is Gai Daido. Right now he pats his stomach as he feels hungry.

And their first task is to studying and mastering the Mobile Suits. What are Mobile Suits? Mobile Suits (MS) are humanoid combat vehicles, typically employing two arms to deploy weapons, two legs for propulsion, and a head that acts as the main camera and sometimes houses a secondary weapon that acts as a rotating turret (with the head itself providing the rotation). Typically speaking, a mobile suit is approximately 60 feet in height, with a cockpit located in the unit's torso. However, exceptions are not uncommon; units that are much larger or slightly smaller are not unheard of, and occasionally the cockpit is located in the head or (in semi-rare cases) the crotch, as well. Basically, mobile suits are a human-controlled weaponized robot.

The young cadets' experience with mobile suits is just via simulation or using a modified Mobile Worker for training. So this is their first time to test real mobile suits.

"Follow me!" Lieutenant Ralv yelled. Commanding the young cadets to follows him to the hangar.

The Federation Academy is located on the west bay area of the artificial island called Area 11. The last from a total of eleven artificial islands. The artificial island is the residence island that specifically made for Chosen Children to separate themselves from the normal citizens. Area 11 is located near the Honshu island of Japan and has an area of the island which is equivalent to the island of Bali. The island is filled with many academies that train the Chosen Children to fight against the Kaijuu. The only 'normal human' in Area 11 is the instructor, teaching staff, and several JSDF soldier that guarded the island.

As they arrive in the academy's hangar. All of the young cadets' hunger was immediately distracted as they saw the five real mobile suits in front of them, three Guncannon Prototype and two Zaku I. All of them are replicas that resemble the Mobile Suit that used in pre-One Year War.

"Wow, sweet! A Zaku!" Gai said as he exited, but what he got from his excitement is a hard slap in his face from Lieutenant Ralv's fake hand.

"You wrench! Don't get excited at the enemy's mobile suit!" Lieutenant Ralv's barks.

"S-Sorry sir!" Gai said as he salutes at his superior.

"What's his problem? Zeon is no longer with us since millennia ago." Go rambling to himself.

"Everyone, wear your pilot suit! We're going to practice real-life warfare against Kaijuu!" Lieutenant Ralv commanded as several JSDF soldiers bring a large cage that imprisons a wyvern-type Kaijuu inside it.

His command shocked all of the young cadets as they saw the wyvern spitting fire from its mouth. "But sir, we're still inexperienced." Kamui tries to reasoning with Lieutenant Ralv. "Isn't this too hasty?"

But Lieutenant Ralv is not someone to be reasoned about as he lands a punch on Kamui's face. "You coward! If you don't get used to it now, you guys will die like an idiot! If you died in this practice session, it's your own damn fault! Now quick! Change your uniform to pilot suit, you damned Chosen Children!"

Kamui spits blood from his mouth and tries to stand up with Char helping him. "Bastard, just because we are Chosen Children..." Kamui cursed in his thought.

It's not a secret that all of the five cadets really hate Lieutenant Ralv, but they can't do anything about it because they're just a Chosen Children's. If they disobeying the orders from their superiors, the regulations allow them to kill the Chosen Children who disobey, directly on the spot.

With sour feeling, the only words that came from their mouth are. "Sir, yes sir!"

In harbor side of Area 11, a female teenager with short light-brown hair, alone at the edge of the dock humming a tune. The tune is somewhat somber and sorrowful as she looked beyond her, the island of 'normal' human.

In her mind, she thought that it must be nice to live like a normal person. She always imagines herself as a normal girl, studying in normal high school, befriends with the other same-age girls, and maybe also trying dating a boy for once.

But, all of them are just her imagination. She knows that she will never have a chance to be a normal girl. The life of Chosen Children is only to be a soldier.

The substitute for normal humans.

"Miss Nishizumi!" The girl hears someone calls her name.

The girl, or Miho Nishizumi, turns her head and leaving the dock. "I'm coming."

As she walks leaving the harbor, the sound of seagulls can be heard. The echo from the sound of Seagulls is sounded like the Goddess who promises endless apologies of paradise.

Afranche Char is based on the protagonist with the same name from Gaia Gear, Hino Yamato is based on the protagonist with the same name from God Mazinger, Go Ichimonji and Gai Daido are based on the protagonist with the same name from Getter Robo Go, and Kamui Sho is based on the protagonist with the same name from Getter Robo Arc.
