Hey everyone, here's the last chapter of this story for you all to enjoy! A huge thank you to Kristen and Mishaa Cullen for all their wonderful reviews, I loved reading them!
Now, here's the final chapter... hope you like it! :)

Just like Greg had thought, neither he nor Morgan developed corona symptoms the next week. They tried to enjoy every moment they had together, both dreading the moment they'd have to call Russell to let him know they were fine.

"I still think we should tell him we're starting to get a bit of a sore throat," Morgan said as she crawled next to Greg in bed. Greg pulled her close, so she could rest her head on his chest. "I know, I want to stay here too, but you know we can't. And if we say we're starting to feel sick, everyone will get worried and they may even close down the entire department because they're afraid of anyone else getting the virus."

Unwillingly, Morgan groaned. "I know, I know… I just want to stay here with you!"

Greg placed his hand under her chin, so they could look at each other. "Me, too, more than anything! But we can't stay here forever… No matter how much we both want to!"

"You're right, I just…" Morgan sighed. "I just don't wanna go back to social distancing! How am I supposed to stay at least six feet away from you?"

"Only when there's other people around," he reminded her. "As long as there's no one around, you can get as close as you like…"

He gave her a teasing smile, to which she responded with a quick kiss that promised more. He groaned in annoyance as she pulled back, making her laugh.

"Well, I guess there is no one else around now…" she slowly said. Before she could bent towards him again, he had already pulled her into his arms and kissed her. He definitely didn't want to think about going back yet, not as long as they could still enjoy their time together here!

The next morning, however, they both knew they had no choice but to call Russell. They told him they were both feeling just fine and Russell promised to arrange transport back to Las Vegas for them. As they were still in Canada, he booked a flight from Vancouver to Las Vegas. Captain Mark would use his boat to bring them back to the Victoria harbor, which was also the airport for water airplanes. One of them would fly them from Victoria to Vancouver.

"Well, I guess this is it then," Morgan sighed as they left the cabin the next morning to wait for captain Mark. Greg wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close. "As soon as we can, we'll try to come back here, okay?"

Morgan looked up at him, a small smile around her lips. "Yeah, I'd like that!"

Just as captain Mark appeared with his boat, a small group of orcas surfaced as well. Greg saw Morgan heaving a deep sigh, knowing she had enjoyed every moment of their stay on their island.

"Thank you," she suddenly said. A little surprised, he looked at her. "For what?"

"For this trip," she explained herself. "I know you only planned it as a two night trip, but…"

"If it had been, I wouldn't have done this," he finished the sentence for her and softly kissed her. She smiled at him. "Exactly!"

Captain Mark took them to the Victoria harbor in his boat, asking them about how they were feeling and if they had seen many orcas. Once they had arrived at the dock, he showed them where they had to go to catch their flight. Departing from and landing on water was a new experience to both of them and both agreed they preferred regular flights.

"Well, we're back home," Greg said after they had landed on the Las Vegas airport. He noticed a few tears in Morgan's eyes and quickly pulled her close. "Hey… Even though we're not on the island anymore, it doesn't mean we aren't together anymore! We're still gonna spend loads of time together, I promise!"

"I know, it's just…" Morgan didn't finish her sentence, but she didn't have to: Greg knew exactly what she meant. He held her in his arms for another few moments before he softly whispered in her ear: "Why don't you follow me home? Then we can spend a few more hours together before we have to go to work, okay?"

Still with a few tears in her eyes, she nodded. "Yeah, I'd like that."

He gave her his address for her navigation system, just in case she wouldn't manage to follow him through the Las Vegas traffic. Luckily, things were quiet and she had no problem following him to his house. There, they spent a few more hours together before they had to get ready for work.

"Even though I loved being on the island, I do have to admit I prefer your double bed over our two beds moved together there!" she said as she watched him get dressed for work. He grinned. "Yeah, me too! And I like wearing clean clothes again… On the island I felt like I was wearing the same shirt for two entire weeks!"

Grinning, she sat up. "Well, you almost did as I only remember seeing you in two different ones… Or at least: I remember taking off two different ones," she added with a teasing smile. She stretched her arm out him, indicating him to get up to the bed. He gladly did until he felt her hands on the buttons of his shirt.

"You know we don't have time for this anymore," he reminded her in between two kisses. She kept on kissing him, only stopping for a moment to say: "I know, but I want to have time for this…"

She let out a little scream as he suddenly lifted her out of bed.

"After shift we've got more than enough time," he promised her. "Well, at least until the next shift starts, but that should be enough!"

Grinning, she kissed him one last time before going into the bathroom. Greg felt a happy feeling rushing through his entire body as he looked at the door she had just disappeared through. Half of the time he still couldn't believe what had happened between them. But as he looked at their clothes on the floor, he knew it really was true. Morgan really was his girlfriend now!

After having been to Morgan's apartment so she could repack her bag, they drove to CSI. From the car they watched the people going in and out of the building, all of them keeping at least six feet away from each other.

"Only when there's other people around," Greg reminded Morgan as he saw the sad look on her face. She turned to him and immediately smiled again. "Then I'm glad there's no one around just yet…"

She bent towards him and gave him a long kiss before they both realized they had to go inside. They carefully kept their distance as they walked to the breakroom.

"Hey, you're back!" Sara greeted them. "How was quarantine?"

"Much more quiet than being here," Morgan truthfully said. Greg noticed that both Sara and Finn gave them suspicious looks. When he didn't say anything, Finn finally said: "And how was being in quarantine together?"

Greg shrugged his shoulders. "Like Morgan said: much more quiet than being here. Did we miss anything around here?"

Just then, Russell appeared.

"Hey, you're back!" he happily greeted them. "How are you feeling? No fever, no coughing, no sore throats?"

Greg quickly took a sip from his coffee so he wouldn't start laughing at Russell's 'sore throat' mentioning. Next to him, he saw Morgan doing the same.

"No, we're just fine," she finally replied. "Any work that needs to be done?"

"No, not yet, things are pretty quiet around here," Russell told them. "Sara and I are working on a case and so are Nick and Finn, so when a new call comes in, I'll find you!"

"Okay!" Morgan nodded. "We'll be right here!"

She sat down on the couch. Greg waited until the others had left before he picked up the camera she had brought to the island with them. "Wanna check out your photos?"

Her entire face immediately lit up. "Yeah, I'd love to!"

They rushed over to their shared office, where Morgan quickly uploaded the photos onto their computer. One by one, they scrolled through the images. Suddenly one of them kissing appeared on the screen.

"I must have taken it by accident," Morgan realized, looking at the slightly blurry image. She turned her head to Greg. "Or did you notice me taking it?"

"No, I guess I was too busy looking at something else," Greg confessed. He was unable to hide a little smile. Morgan quickly turned around to scan the hallway before she bent towards him and gave him a quick kiss.

"I wonder what that could have been," she softly whispered to him. Just as she wanted to kiss him again, they heard footsteps down the hall. Quickly, Morgan switched off the computer screen, so that when Sara entered, the screen was completely black. Sara looked at them. "Shouldn't you be keeping some more distance?"

"Oh, right, we… eh… forgot," Morgan quickly said, moving away from Greg. He shrugged. "We spent two weeks on an island with no one else around, we didn't exactly follow the six feet apart rule there either."

"Hmm… Of course!" Sara's smile told them she had her own ideas about that.

"How were things around her?" Morgan quickly asked her.

"Oh, fine!" Sara started telling them about the case she and Russell had been working on, just as Nick and Finn passed by the office.

"Hey, Sara, Russell's coming and he wants to know if you've already printed the car photos," Nick warned her.

"Right…" Before Morgan or Greg could stop her, Sara had already turned towards the computer and switched on the screen. When Russell appeared in the doorway, everyone was able to see the photo of Greg and Morgan kissing.

Greg felt his face turning bright red. Morgan was staring uncomfortably at the floor.

"Nice!" Finn said with a huge smile on her face. "Told you it would work?"

She looked at Russell now, who suddenly looked as uncomfortable as Morgan. Greg looked up at them. "What do you mean?"

After a moment of silence, Sara said: "Come on, guys, you have to tell them!"

"Yeah, they have the right to know!" Nick agreed. Russell sighed deeply. "Okay, okay… There was no one diagnosed with corona at Port Angeles PD."

"What?" Greg and Morgan both called out.

"It was my and Russell's idea," Finn confessed.

"Come on, you guys, Finn and I both used to live in Seattle," Russell said. "Even with all the new rules and restrictions, did you really think we'd believe there was no earlier flight from Seattle to Las Vegas?"

"We figured you'd be spending some time away from the hotel, that's why we came up with the plan," Finn explained.

"I personally would have gone to Olympic National Park, but that's just my choice," Russell admitted.

"Wait!" Greg said. "Are you saying you made the whole corona thing up, just because you were hoping Morgan and I would…"

He didn't finish his sentence, not sure what to say. Morgan seemed just as lost for words.

"Come on, everyone knows you two have been crazy about each other for months!" Nick spoke up.

"You just needed a little push to tell each other," Finn simply said. "And two weeks in quarantine, we thought, would do just that. And well, I guess we were right!"

She pointed at the photo on the computer screen.

"Alright, alright, everyone back to work now," Russell decided after another few moments of silence. Finn seemed to want to protest, but Russell pointed towards the DNA lab. Reluctantly, she left. Nick followed her, at a careful distance of six feet of course.

"I'll, eh, find another computer to print the car photos," Sara decided. When she had left the office, Greg and Morgan looked at Russell.

"Look, I'm sorry if I overstepped, but Finn was convinced… We were both convinced it was about time you two spoke up," Russell confessed. "I mean, everyone around here sees you two looking at each other like there's no one else in the world. Why not just confess it?"

Morgan crossed her arms. "What would you have done if we had actually stayed in the hotel?"

"Well, I was pretty much convinced you wouldn't," Russell admitted. "And you didn't, right?"

Greg still didn't know what to say. On the one hand he was incredibly happy that he and Morgan were together now, but on the other hand it felt weird knowing their supervisor had set them up. He saw Morgan was looking at Russell. Suddenly she said: "Okay, since you tricked us into believing we might have the corona virus I think it's only fair we get something in return. Around here, Greg and I don't have to keep six feet away from each other. And as long as that rule is around, Greg and I get to work our cases together… without any distance between us! Oh, and when we're allowed to travel again, we want some days off together to go back to the island!"

Russell held up his hands. "Anything you want. Just… delete that photo off of the computer, alright? I don't care if you want to keep it, but I don't think anyone around here will enjoying looking at it for very long…"

"We will," Morgan promised. She waited for Russell to leave the office before she closed the door and gave Greg a big smile. "What do you think? Good deal or what?"

He nodded, still not quite sure how he was feeling. "Yeah, it's great, it's just… Don't you feel it's a little weird that our supervisor planned all of this just so we could get together?"

Morgan walked up to him, stopping in front of him so she could wrap her arms around him.

"Yes, it does," she admitted. "But I don't really care, because it means I'm with you now. Don't you think that's more important?"

Smiling, he pulled her a little closely. As he was still sitting down, she was out of balance and had to hold onto him tightly so she wouldn't fall. He only gladly held her, looking into her beautiful eyes.

"Yes, it is," he whispered. "And that you managed to get us out of social distancing here!"

Her eyes got a little mischievous sparkle.

"You do realize I'll want something in return, right?" she whispered. He bent towards her to kiss her, but pulled back as their lips touched. She gave an involuntary groan of annoyance.

"Anything you want," he whispered before kissing her lovingly, just like she had wanted him to do.
