Greetings! And so this chapter brings this leg of the story to a close with the state wedding. Tomorrow I will start posting the new story. The first 5 chapters are done, there will probably be 7 total chapters for it...maybe 8 depending on certain things.

Susan - Walter and Paige still haven't discussed anything too intimate about their honeymoon but they have been whispering about something that happens...so I will probably start working on that next while waiting on the new story to finish speaking.

Barring other ideas while working on the honeymoon story I will either work on the one shots dealing with Megan-Sylvester during this time frame and what has been going on with Sir Cabe, Allie, Happy and Toby or jump about 2-3 months into the future of this story line to pickup with what Drew has been whispering. After those story lines are resolved I will probably jump several months into the future again to get to the birth and what Walter has been whispering.

To the Adventure! -Tim

Walter lay half asleep with Paige's head on his left shoulder when there was a knock on the bedroom door. Walter's eyes opened and he reached down and pulled the cover up, "Enter."

The door opened and Lisa looked in, "Good morning my Lord. It is seven a.m."

Walter smiled, "Thank you Lisa, good morning."

Lisa stepped in and hung Paige's dress and Walter's suit up.

Paige stretched and looked up at Walter as the door closed, "Good morning my Love."

Walter smiled as he hugged Paige tighter to him, "Good morning my Love."

Lisa walked on through the room and into the bathing room and began running water and prepared all the miscellaneous items they'd use to prepare for their wedding.

Paige reached up and gently ran her nails through Walter's hair, "Why am I feeling a little nervous? We're already married for crying out loud."

Walter laughed, "I don't understand it myself. Maybe it is more about leaving Ralph behind for two weeks."

Paige looked up, "Well that is really insightful actually. You might be right."

Walter grinned.

As Lisa finished she turned the water off and stepped out of the bathing room. "My Lord and Lady, everything is ready for your use. Would you like me to bring breakfast up here in a little while?"

Walter laughed. "Perhaps just some toast for me, my Love?"

Paige looked back at Lisa, "Toast doesn't sound too bad. Check with Allie, she makes a juice for me to drink in the mornings too. Thank you Lisa."

Lisa smiled, "You're welcome my Lady." She picked up their clothes from last night and carried them out.

As the door closed behind Lisa, Walter threw back the covers and kissed Paige before they both got up and entered the bathing room.

Lisa returned about a half hour later and she stepped into their bedroom after knocking. She grinned as she heard the sounds of pleasure coming from the bathing room. She placed Walter's bag on his dresser before stripping the bed. She made the bed up with fresh linens as the sounds of pleasure and water sloshing around in the tub echoed in the room. She grinned as she picked up the old bedding and carried the old linens down to the laundry.

Walter walked out in his robe an hour later and saw the bag and picked it up and opened it. He reached in and pulled out his stone head hammer and smiled and put it back inside.

"You know, if we were going to do that we should have gotten up earlier." Paige called out from the bathing room.

Walter laughed, "Well the good news is the wedding can't start without us so if we are a little late we're still on time."

Paige laughed as she stuck her head out of the bathing room, "Not really the point Walter."

Walter grinned and took his pants off the hanger and sliding them on under his robe. He threw off his robe before pulling his shirt off the hanger and slipping it on. As he buttoned it up he remembered that day over a month ago as he stood beside the lake with Paige in his arms and they began trying to remove each other's clothes. Paige had grown frustrated enough with the buttons and pulled the shirt open, ripping the buttons off. He smiled wondering why she hadn't just pulled it off over his head.

As Walter stood up after putting on his shoes Paige walked out and started to grab her dress when her eyes went wide and she ran back into the bathing room and Walter heard her retch. "Paige?" He called after her puzzled before quickly moving into the bathing room behind her.

"Do you need me to get Allie?" Walter asked concerned.

Paige shook her head as she retched again.

Walter stepped closer, "Do you think you caught a something from someone last night? Should I try to heal you?"

Paige shook her head again as she retched again.

Walter heard a knock on the bedroom door and he turned and stepped out as the door opened and Allie stepped into the bedroom. She smiled at Walter, "Good morning my Lord. How are you and our Lady doing?"

Walter frowned a little, "I am well, my Lady on the other hand."

Walter was interrupted as Paige retched again.

Allie nodded, "I was expecting that. I arrived earlier but you were otherwise occupied." She held a small cup of some steaming liquid and a small chest. Allie handed the chest to Walter as she pointed towards the bathing room, "Do you mind?"

Walter shook his head as he stepped away and Allie walked in. Walter opened the small chest and found sixteen small sealed vials with a thick red liquid in each. He looked towards the bathing room puzzled.

Allie stepped up beside Paige and reached out and touched her neck and her eyes went white as her power rose and Paige felt the nausea pass.

Paige breathed a sigh of relief and slowly got up. She smiled at Allie, "Thank you."

Allie grinned as she nodded, "I came up earlier but you were otherwise busy."

Paige laughed, "What is this?" She looked at the small cup.

Allie handed her the small cup of liquid, "Drink a cup of this in the morning and it will keep the sickness at bay for the most part. You might still feel some nausea but you won't get sick and the nausea won't last long."

Paige drank the liquid quickly and grimaced a little at the taste but it wasn't too bad.

Allie removed a small bag off her belt and handed it to her. "Measure out a teaspoon and add it to a cup of hot water each morning and drink it while it is hot but cool enough not to burn you."

Paige hugged her before turning to brush her teeth again.

Allie stepped out of the bathing room and looked at Walter seeing the puzzled looked. She smiled, "Our Lady is to drink one of those each morning. I pre-made the juice so you could take them with you on your honeymoon."

Walter nodded as it made sense, "Thank you Allie." He opened this bag and placed the chest within it.

Allie looked at him, "My Lord may I ask you something?"

Walter turned as he fastened his cufflinks, "Of course Allie."

"I don't mean to come across insulting, but I am curious. Why didn't you pick Cabe to stand with you at the wedding?" Allie asked.

Walter looked up with a frown, "Paige had told me he expressed a desire to just be in the audience for the state wedding. Is he hurt that I didn't ask him?"

Allie's hand came up to her chin as she thought, "I don't think he is hurt, maybe confused. He may have forgotten."

Walter nodded, "I had planned to ask him to be best man. But if he'd like to stand up with Raynold and I, I would be honored to have him."

Allie smiled, "I am sure he would love that. But it is a little late for a suit to match."

Walter shook his head, "Since he is knighted it is within protocol for him to wear his armor if he would like. Let me tell Paige and I will go with you to ask."

Walter and Allie walked into the great hall and he saw all his friends and family at the great table and looked at Sir Cabe. "Sir Cabe, a word please," he asked.

Sir Cabe frowned at Allie as she came over and sat down after he stood. He stepped over, "My Lord?"

Walter reached out and shook his hand, "I must apologize my friend. When I spoke with Paige I had told her I was going to ask you to be my best man but she told me you had said you just wanted to be in the audience so that is why I never asked you to stand with me. While I have already asked Raynold to be best man, if you are willing to stand, I would be honored for you to stand with us. But if you would prefer to be in the audience I am okay with that."

Sir Cabe looked down, "I should have remembered that, I must admit I felt slighted that you hadn't asked. Forgive me."

Walter smiled, "There is nothing to forgive on your part. I should have asked. So eat and change into your armor my friend."

Sir Cabe grinned, "It will be my honor my Lord."

Walter paused long enough to kiss his Mother and hug Ralph and then returned to the master chambers.

Walter found Paige sitting in front of her mirror, "Walter, which of these earrings looks better with my hair?"

Walter stepped up and looked at her reflection as she held two different earrings up to her ears. "They both look good, but I would admit I like the dangling ones more, especially with this necklace."

Paige smiled, "Thank you."

Walter kissed her cheek, "Apparently Sir Cabe was a little insulted I didn't ask him to stand up with me."

Paige looked up in the mirror, "What? He said he just wanted to watch from the audience."

Walter grinned, "He forgot he told you that. So I told him I would be honored if he wanted to stand up with me and Raynold."

Paige frowned, "I'm sorry, I guess I shouldn't have said anything."

Walter shook his head, "It wasn't your fault Love. I'm curious, how would you feel if he walked with you down the carpet?"

Paige looked up, "What a wonderful idea. Do you think he would do it?"

Walter nodded, "I think he would be honored to do it. Are there any clothes you want me to put into my bag for the honeymoon?"

Paige grinned, "Who said we were going to need clothes?"

Walter laughed, "Well I figured we would go to Aaron Springs when we get hungry. We would need clothes then."

Paige laughed, "Oh fine, spoilsport. Just pick out a few dresses out of my dresser."

Walter laughed as he opened the dresser and selected several items and shoes to go with them. He opened another drawer and placed several of her ultra-revealing swimwear into the bag as well.

Paige frowned as she saw him place her blue leathers into the bag, "Why are you placing those in there?"

Walter looked back, "In the off chance a problem arises."

Paige just nodded as she stood up and took her wedding dress down and looked at Walter, "Do you mind helping me?"

Walter looked up and smiled, "You look perfect as you are."

Paige laughed, "Oh right, like you would let me go to our wedding like this when you wouldn't let me wear one of those swimsuits in front of anyone else."

Walter laughed as he stepped over and took hold of the shoulders of her dress and lifted it up as high as he could over her head.

Paige smiled as she shimmied into the bottom of the dress and Walter lowered it down as she rose up inside of it. Walter kissed her as the dress settled into place. He reached into the center and began tightening the lacing between her breasts and Paige just smiled looking at him.

As they finished there was a knock on the door, "Enter," Walter said.

Lisa opened the door and smiled seeing them, "You both look amazing."

Walter looked at Paige and nodded, "Doesn't she though?"

Paige laughed, "She was speaking about you as well my Love. Thank you Lisa."

Lisa grinned, "Your toast and juice is ready when you are."

Walter nodded, "Thank you Lisa."

Walter looked at Paige's feet, "Do you need me to put your shoes on?"

Paige grinned, "I don't think my shoes would fit your feet."

Walter laughed as he shook his head, "Did you want another spanking?"

Paige laughed, "Maybe later."

After eating, Walter escorted Paige down to the great hall where they met up with the other ladies and Sir Cabe and Raynold. After briefly coming together as friends they all walked on down to the entrance of the Keep. Sir Cabe and Raynold entered one of the carriages and the driver slapped the reins on the horses and they took off while Walter stood with Paige and the ladies and a white and gold carriage moved up and Walter held the door and held the hand of each lady as they entered. After he closed the door Paige stuck her head out of the window and they kissed one last time.

"I'll see you shortly my Love," Walter told her.

Paige caressed his cheek, "I love you so much Walter."

Walter grinned and thumped the side of the carriage and the driver slapped the reins and the horses began moving out. Walter looked up at the top of the Keep and saw Selease and he smiled and whistled and Selease flew out to the East and came running in through the east gate and up to Walter. Walter grinned and stroked her beak, "Take me up to the telescope first Selease."

Selease shrieked and flew up and landed next to the telescope. Walter opened the bag on his belt and reached in and took out his stone head hammer and sat it down on the south side of the platform. "Let's get down to the Market before the ladies Selease."

Selease shrieked and leaped out and beat her wings four times and they flew out and past the carriage already a third of the way to the School house. Five more flaps and they passed the carriage with Sir Cabe and Raynold and Selease shrieked and came down and ran down the short distance of the cobblestone street to the red carpet and stopped. Walter climbed down, "Thank you my friend, now find yourself a good spot to watch from."

Selease shrieked and flapped as she ran a bit further and then banked up into the air and flew over the crowd in the square and landed on top of the temple of Athena and watched.

Walter waited until the first carriage arrived and he opened the door. As Sir Cabe exited he had him step to the side with him. "I'm wondering Sir Cabe, would you do me a favor?"

Sir Cabe looked at him and nodded, "Of course my Lord."

Walter looked at the other carriage passing the school house, "Since Paige's Father is deceased, would you consent to escort her down the aisle?"

Sir Cabe gasped, "It would be my honor and privilege to do so. Is she okay with that?"

Walter nodded, "We discussed it earlier."

Sir Cabe nodded, "Thank you my Lord."

Walter nodded and walked down the carpet to take his place under the arbor.

The second carriage came to a stop and Sir Cabe stepped up and opened the door and took each lady's hand as they exited and walked down the carpet to take their place by the arbor. Finally as Paige reached out for Sir Cabe's hand the conductor gestured and the orchestra began playing and the six singers across the square lifted their voices in accompaniment. All the guests stood as Paige smiled at Sir Cabe before she stepped down and slipped her arm around his.

They stood for a moment while everyone looked and then Paige tapped his armor and Sir Cabe stepped out with her and they walked slowly down the carpet and finally stepping up to stand next to Walter. She passed her flowers to Elizabeth of Caranth as Sir Cabe stepped over to stand next to Raynold. Paige half turned so she was half facing Walter and half facing the temple Mistress. Walter took Paige's hands in his and she saw him gently pull against her wedding ring and it slipped off her finger and she nodded slightly and removed his.

"Please be seated," the temple Mistress said. She waited until everyone was sitting, "We are gathered here this day to celebrate this union which the wise Lady herself brought about in her accords. Where is the lad Ralph?"

Ralph frowned but stood up next to his Grandparents and raised his hand.

The temple Mistress smiled, "Step forth Ralph, this concerns you as well."

Ralph slowly stepped out and walked down to stand between but just behind his parents.

The temple Mistress looked at Lord Walter, "My Lord, you are a Paladin in proper standing of wise Athena, do you continue to accept the Lady Paige as your true wife, to affirm your love solely for her and recommence to grant unto her the same rights and liberties you yourself claim?"

Walter looked deep into Paige's eyes, "As a Paladin in good standing of wise Athena I continue to bow to her wisdom and forever will accept the Lady Paige as my true wife. My love is hers and hers alone through out all time and I bestow upon her every right and liberty that I claim."

The temple Mistress looked at Paige, "My Lady, you are a child in proper standing of wise Athena, do you continue to accept Lord Walter as your true husband, to affirm your love solely for him and recommence to grant unto him the same rights and liberties you yourself claim?"

Paige smiled as she looked deep into Walter's eyes, "As a child in good standing of wise Athena I continue to bow to her wisdom and forever will accept Lord Walter as my true husband. My love is his and his alone through out all time and I bestow upon him every right and liberty that I claim."

The temple Mistress looked at Walter, "This is the child of the Lady Paige. He is in good standing with wise Athena, how do you accept him?"

Walter looked down at Ralph, "I claim Ralph as my true son before wise Athena and all who are here as witness. No force on this Earth will ever change that fact."

The temple Mistress smiled and reached out with an open hand and Walter and Paige laid each other's ring in her hand. Both rings began to glow blue in her hand, "These rings representing the forming of a circle of love and family, crafted and enchanted out of love for both of you, will forever be the symbols of your pledges made here this day before wise Athena and every witness here. As temple Mistress in good standing with wise Athena and in the name of wise Athena I declare you husband and wife in the sight of Athena and throughout all time."

The temple Mistress looked down at Ralph, "Ralph, you stand as a child in proper standing of wise Athena. You are the son of the Lady Paige. Lord Walter has declared you are his son and no force on this Earth will ever change that fact. Do you acknowledge Lord Walter's claim upon you as his son and swear before all present to live forever as his true son?"

A tear ran down Paige's face as she looked down at Ralph and saw the tears in his eyes. Ralph slowly nodded, "I accept Lord Walter's claim upon me as his true son and I will live forever as his true son."

The temple Mistress smiled at Ralph and lowered her hand down, "Take your Mother's ring and slide it on her finger."

Ralph looked at his Mother as he reached up and as he took her ring he felt energy pass through him and he slipped the ring onto Paige's finger.

"Now, take your Father's ring and slide it on his finger," the temple Mistress said.

Ralph reached out and took the other ring and looked up at Walter as he smiled down at him. Ralph felt that same jolt of energy and he reached out and slid it onto Walter's finger.

All three of them pulsed with blue energy for a brief moment. The temple Mistress looked at all three, "Wise Athena has now sealed each of you to the other as a family throughout time." She gestured with her hands at Walter and Paige, "You may kiss your spouse."

They both grinned and embraced passionately for several seconds as the crowd cheered. As they separated the temple Mistress announced, "It is with great honor I present our Lord and Lady and their son. May wise Athena always smile and bless you."

Walter grabbed Ralph by his collar and yanked him up and caught him in his right arm as he pulled Paige in with his left. They turned to greet the crowd and watched as they all cheered while the orchestra began playing again.

They stepped out from under the arbor and were singularly greeted first by the dignitaries according to rank before everyone who greeted them moved on out to take seats at the dining tables. Finally they were greeted by their close friends and finally their family. Walter let Sean take Ralph into his arms and they walked with them to the dining tables.

Walter stood with his arm around Paige, "We have been so honored and thank each and every one of you. Please enjoy your meal, we don't wish to delay anyone who might need to leave now that the wedding is over so we will depart as we have an appointment in Aaron Springs and you may leave as you need."

Walter whistled and Selease leaped off the temple and flew down and ran up next to Walter and Paige. Walter scooped Paige up in his arms and turned and climbed up onto Selease's back and held Paige across his lap as he took the saddle horn in his right hand and supported Paige's back with his left.

Paige looked at Ralph, "You mind your Grandparents and Sir Cabe and Allie while we're gone."

Ralph smiled, "I will, I love you both."

"We love you too Ralph," Walter and Paige said together as Walter touched his heels to Selease and she took off up the street.

"Swing by the Keep Selease," Walter told her.

Selease chirped and flew up towards the Keep.

"Why are we going to the Keep?" Paige asked.

Walter smiled, "I need to pick something up I left there."

As they drew near Walter held out his right arm, "Garrison." His hammer flew off the telescope platform and landed in his hand. He smiled as he sat it on Paige's lap, "Let's go to Aaron Springs Selease."

Selease shrieked and took off to the West.

Paige looked at Walter, "Why was your hammer laying up there?"

Walter grinned, "In case someone had tried any mischief I wanted it available without having to dig it out of my bag."
