Chapter 1: Flashpoint

Hey everyone I'm back with a new Spider-Man story. Now this story begins during my favorite series, Spectacular Spider-Man but my friend kival737101 gave me the idea to have a moment from the Justice League Movie Flashpoint Paradox in it first. Now just a heads up I will not be following the DCAU not the movies. This was just a unique way of beginning the story. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.

To say life was had been hard would be an understatement. You never lived in a world where you were under attack by the Amazons of Themyscria and the sea deep warriors of Atlantis.

The entire continent of Europe was basically a war zone and so SO many people of earth had lost their lives trying to stop them from taking over and the rest of the world wasn't doing any better.

The Government had gathered all the metahumans and soldiers they could find to stop the two armies from destroying their entire world.

It all started when the two armies tried to make an alliance but then Aquaman had a secret affair with Wonder Woman and when his wife Mera confronted her Wonder Woman killed her causing a war.

Lucky for us however, there was a way to fix this broken world and it came in the form of a man named Barry Allen, otherwise known as the Flash who had came from another timeline.

In the sky heading towards London in a plane was Flash, Thomas Wayne as Batman, Cyborg and the Shazam kids.

"Bruce's Batplane was a little more stoic." Flash smirks.

"Your Batman didn't have to ferry high rollers with deep pockets in and out of his casino." Batman said.

"So he wouldn't need a fully stocked bar aboard?" Cyborg asks.

"Everything's top-shelf. Help yourself." Batman said.

"I don't drink." Cyborg said getting out his seat.

"Shocking." Batman said sarcastically as Flash took his seat.

"I'm glad I could persuade you to come along." Flash said.

"Not just me. I called in a favor. Cyborg has been gathering Metahumans, soliders, anyone who can fight for his army all over the world but he never knew about one individual who I kept a watch over." Batman said surprising him.

"You have a teammate?" Flash asks.

"No, we don't fight together, but I've been using this kid to take care of the weeds and leave the big stuff to me. I don't remember his real name I just call him Slinger. He's a vigilante who helps people whenever he can. He's saved quite a few people from Atlantis and the Amazons." Batman said.

"How'd you meet him?" Flash asks.

"Found him one night. All alone, no parents, all he had were his skills. Maybe my old fatherly instincts kicked in but for some reason I felt sorry for him. In the end he turned out to be a useful investment. Slinger will always get the job done and always knows how to get into people's heads." Batman said.

"You mean like interrogating?" Flash asks.

"No…he's just really good at pissing people off." Batman smirks.

"Well maybe he can give us the opening we need." Flash said.

"Here's something else. During your little Braveheart speech, I intercepted something." Batman said bringing an image on screen. "Lois Lane, reporter turned resistance fighter. She saw something in New Theymscria. A super being who could move in the blink of an eye."

On-screen Flash saw someone wearing a yellow version of his suit. This was Prof. Zoom.

"Thawne." Flash growls.

"If it was him why let Lane live much less help her? If he's as fast as you." Batman starts.

"Why let himself be seen?" Flash asks when blasts shook the plane.

"Incoming!" Batman said as something powerful blew off one of the wings forcing the plane to go down.

Spinning his hands quickly, Flash makes tornadoes shoot out to slow them down, suddenly just before impact, a large web shot out catching the plane saving them.

"Whoa, what was that?" Flash asks.

"Like I said Slinger always gets the job done." Batman said noticing a shadow swinging away.

On their tanks heading towards New Theymscria, Aquaman and his army saw the plane go down.

"Sire, the aircraft has been intercepted and nullified. Would that all our shots be so lucky." Orm said.

"We have more than luck Orm." Aquaman said as their tanks drove up on land.

Moving through the destroyed city, they looked for any sign of the amazons when suddenly explosions went off in the buildings around them and the falling debris crushed a few tanks.

Coming out of hiding the Amazons went on the attack with bows and arrows, even a minotaur.

"Death to the under-dwellers!" Wonder Woman declared as they charged. "Kill them! Kill them all!"

As both armies clashed a giant fireball crashed down revealing Etrigan.

"Behold man's final mad disgrace. He chops his nose to spite his face." Etrigan said as soldiers, Lois Lane and several other faces appeared out of hiding ready for battle.

"You've got to put an end to this. You're gonna destroy the only world we've got." Lois said.

"You won't have it much longer surface dweller." Aquaman said readying his trident.

"Alright, I've run out of patience. Underoos!" Lois calls out when a web yanked Aquaman's trident out of his hand and tied up his arms.

Looking up the Atlanteans see a human wearing a black stealth suit with goggles over a mask landed with the others holding Aquaman's trident. This was Slinger. (Google Spider-Man Night Monkey)

"Hey everyone. Alright Aquaman listen up if you want your giant fork back call off your army and go back to the sea!" Slinger calls out.

"You dare use Atlantis' greatest treasure as a bargaining chip? I should kill you, surface dweller." Aquaman glares.

"Oh that's rich coming from you. You're half-human in case you forgotten kelp for brains. You are literally trying to wipe out half of who you are." Slinger said.

"Yes I am, because my human side made me weak. Tula!" Aquaman said as a teenage girl with tan skin and red hair stepped forward and cut him free. "Bring me my trident along with his head."

"Yes my king." Aquagirl said as water surrounded her hands. "You heard him. Surrender the trident."

"Why don't you make me, Little Mermaid?" Slinger taunts causing Aquagirl to growl and fires a powerful blast of water at him.

Slinger jumps out of the way forcing everyone to go on the attack. As Atlantean guards charged at him Slinger swung the trident knocking them away with ease.

"Whoo, I gotta say Aquadude I see why you always carry this with you. I kinda like it." Slinger said.

"Well asking and bargaining didn't work. Maybe we can kill enough of them to end this war." Grifter said as everyone went on the attack.

Aquagirl charges in and fires water at Slinger who raises the trident to block. Stabbing it into the ground Slinger spins on the trident and kicks her in the chest knocking her to the ground.

Slinger moved in when suddenly he suddenly got a strange sensation. Ducking down he dodged Aquaman's punch before he swung the trident hitting Aquaman in the gut.

Aquaman grabs the handle and Slinger was kneed in the gut forcing him to drop the trident.

"No one is allowed to hold this trident but me. Prepare to die." Aquaman said about to stab him with it when Slinger shoots a web out hitting Aquaman in the face blinding him before he kicks him in the chest.

"Sorry but you'll have to find someone else to shish kabob." Slinger said when Aquagirl fired a powerful water blast knocking him down the street.

Looking up he saw her glaring at him. "My king ordered me to bring him your head and I will not fail." Aquagirl said as he stood up.

"Is that what you all are? Blind little fishes following the leader because you can't think for yourself?" Slinger asks.

From a hole in a building, Batman, Flash, Cyborg and the Shazam kids were watching.

"Wow you were right, he is good." Flash said impressed that a teenager could steal the trident of Atlantis.

"Fight your way to the leaders. Once we have Aquaman and Wonder Woman this war is over." Batman said.

With his trident back in his grip, Aquaman and Wonder Woman clashed weapons before she tackled him into a building.

Reaching for his trident, Wonder Woman stomped on his foot, but just before she could stab him Aquaman knocked her off and threw her into the wall.

"You murdered my wife, Diana." Aquaman said.

"She tried to assassinate me, Arthur. I was protecting myself." Wonder Woman said.

"Yet you wear her helmet like a trophy." He accuses.

"No, a warning." She declared as they clashed weapons.

Swinging her sword Aquaman blocks it with his trident.

"I can't believe I ever loved you." Aquaman glares.

"You never did." Wonder Woman said kicking Aquman across the building.

Getting up Aquaman was about to attack when Flash raced in and punched him again and again.

"Now!" Batman said as he and Cyborg rushed in.

Aiming his cannon Cyborg blasts Wonder Woman across the building before blasting the roof separating them.

Turning around Wonder Woman saw the Shazam kids facing her.

"Shazam!" They yelled as Captain Thunder appeared in their place.

"Captain Thunder, I'm glad a real man is here to witness the end of man's world!" She declared going on the attack.

Outside, Slinger shot web after web as he swung around the city with Tula using water like tentacles to chase after him.

"You can't run forever!" Tula yells.

"Who's running?!" Jumping towards a building he lands on the wall before leaping forward and tackling Aquagirl into a building.

Kicking him off Slinger takes a fighting stance as the Aquagirl faced him down.

"Do you believe even realize what you're doing?! You're our home and for what?! Because your stupid king couldn't keep it in his pants and his wife got killed when she found out!" Slinger declared.

"How dare you insult the king like that!" Aquagirl snaps flicking a water tentacle at him knocking Slinger to the ground.

"What's a matter Aquagirl? Don't like hearing the truth?" Slinger asks.

"The surface is a plague and we will wash is all away!" Aquagirl declares.

"Do you even hear yourself?" Slinger asks as Aquagirl fires a torrent of water knocking him out when Slinger fires a web at Aquagirl's feet yanking her out with him and the hit the road hard.

Groaning Tula picks herself up to see Slinger take off his water-soaked mask so he could breathe to reveal a teenage boy her age with black hair and blue eyes.

"For Atlantis." Aquagirl said charging when Slinger ducks under her attack and punches her right in the face.

"Atlantis my ass!" Slinger said firing a web at Aquagirl tying her up and as he crawled up the building with ease, he had her dangle below him.

"Release me at once!" Aquagirl snaps.

"No! For once you are gonna shut up and listen!" Slinger said yanking her up so she was looking him in the eyes before grabbing her face and turning it so she saw all the battles being fought.

People on all sides getting killed and decapitated.

"See this?! This is what your war has caused! Pain, suffering and death! How many lives have you taken in the name of your King?! Were they all enemies or were some not even involved? When your tidal wave attacked you destroyed everything. Women, children, innocent people who were only guilty of existing! Your king took all their lives while you just watched and did nothing, said nothing! Well is this what happened! Is this what you wanted the world to be?!" Slinger snaps.

Aquagirl looks out and sees her friends Kaldur and Garth get murdered by Amazons and shot by people.

Looking down she saw Orm had spotted them. "Orm help me!"

Orm looks up at her and thought he would save her, but instead, he raised his trident. "For the future of Atlantis sacrifices must be made to ensure it. You will die a warrior's death."

Aquagirl's eyes widen as he fired at her when she was suddenly pulled into the building as the explosion went off.

Looking up she saw Slinger on top of her.

"Y-You saved me?" She said shocked.

"I'm not a murderer. But if you want to end this killing, it's time to step up." Slinger said as Aquagirl paused to think.

Down below, Batman, Flash and Cyborg attacked Aquaman with a barrage of attacks.

Racing in Flash delivers a series of fast punches before Cyborg fired his cannon blasting Aquaman until he redirected it knocking Batman out the window.

Picking himself up, Batman saw Black Manta turning towards him.

He tried to run back and deal with Aquaman but Black Manta destroyed a car near him knocking him back.

Pulling out two guns Batman fired at him while avoiding getting blasted himself.

Black Manta was about to move in when suddenly a web shot down and Slinger threw him into a car.

"I knew it was only a matter of time before you joined the party." Slinger smirks offering Batman a hand.

"Thanks for the save." Batman said taking it.

Black Manta charged up his beam and was about to attack when a torrent of water blasts him.

Looking over Batman and Black Manta saw Aquagirl had joined their fight.

"Traitor!" Black Manta glares. "You are a disgrace to the name Atlantean!"

"We all are a disgrace! Blindly following a King with no regard for our actions? Well not anymore!" Aquagirl declared as she charged in and kicked Black Manta in the chest before delivering a series of punches.

"You know what to do." Batman said.

"You got it!" Slinger said charging in.

As Black Manta swatted Aquagirl away, Slinger fired two webs pinning Black Manta to a car as Batman tossed a grenade right where he stood.

When the explosion went off it blew a giant hole in his helmet allowing Batman to fire a bullet.

"So you got her on our side now, huh?" Batman asks as Aquagirl walks over to them.

"I know how to get into people's heads." Slinger smiles.

"Well see if you two can do any damage. Go up the right flank and—" Before Batman could finish he was shot in the shoulder.

Turning around Slinger and Aquagirl saw Orm and a few Atlantean soldiers glaring them down.

"Tula, I'm disappointed in you. Allying yourself with this human." Orm said

"You tried to kill me!" Aquagirl said about to charge when she got shot in the legs making her scream in pain.

"No!" Slinger gasps when Flash rushed in and punched Orm before getting Batman to safety.

Grabbing Aquagirl, Slinger fired a web so they could swing to safety.

Racing into what was left of a café, Flash put Batman down.

"You're gonna be okay. I'll stop the bleeding and you'll be as good as new." Flash said ripping part of the cape.

"Don't be stupid, Allen. I may not be a very good doctor, but even I know a dead man when I see one." Batman said as Captain Thunder punched Wonder Woman through the wall.

"They're gonna die." Flash said.

"We're dead already. Find the Speedster. Flush him out. Change all this." Batman said.

"No!" Flash said stepping away. "I won't stand by while people are…" He looks back to see Batman was gone.

"Hello Barry." Prof. Zoom said walking out. "Love what you've done with the place."

"This is all your fault." Flash said as they raced all around the city at super speed.

"This is why I let Lois Lane see me. I knew you would come running over." Prof. Zoom said before delivering a series of punches and kicks before slamming Flash down onto a roof.

"What did you do to the world?" Flash asks.

"Oh Barry, that's the beauty of it. I didn't do any of it. You did." He smirks. "Think, Barry. Isn't there some little thing, some little good deed you might have done?"

"I saved someone." He realized.

"Your mom and because of that you set all this into motion. When you went back in time to save her you set off a timeboom that set everything out of whack. Your selfish little deed doomed us all." Prof. Zoom declared.

Down below, Wonder Woman finished off Captain Thunder but just as Aquaman beat Cyborg he found himself stabbed by Wonder Woman.

"Submit. You are beaten." Wonder Woman said.

"Surrender? Then what? You'll let the men of Atlantis live as your slaves?" Aquaman mocks.

"The men? Never, but perhaps the daughters of Atlantis." Wonder Woman said.

"There will be no glorious victory Diana. No prize." Aquaman said.

"What I do now I do for the good all mankind." Wonder Woman said raising her sword.

"As do I." Aquaman said clicking his belt and activating something just before she killed him

Suddenly an explosion went off and everyone saw a bright light.

"Good job Barry, the world is about to end, thanks to you. I hope your mom has a good view of all this." Professor Zoom said.

"You'll die too." Flash groans.

"As you say, totally worth it." He grins as Flash stood up. "Sorry, as long as I syphon up the speed force you can't change the timeline. There just isn't enough speed force to go around—"

Before he could finish a bullet went through his head killing him instantly.

Looking behind him, Flash saw Batman was the killer.

"You killed him?" Flash said amazed.

"Not entirely. Not if you go back in time and fix this. Thomas said taking off his mask.

As the bright light from the explosion started to engulf everything buildings and people were destroyed on sight.

"The only way to save the world is to prevent this world from ever happening. Take this." Thomas said handing him a letter. "If there's a Slinger in your timeline, find him. That kid has gotten me out of some tight jams. My son could use someone like him. Now run!" Thomas orders.

Looking down Flash saw Slinger holding Tula who was groaning in pain as he tried to stop the bleeding.

"Aquagirl…Tula hang in there." Slinger said.

"Y-Your name, your real one, what is it?" She asks in pain.

"Jaden, Jaden Cooper." Slinger declared.

"Jaden…I wish we could have met under better circumstances. Before all this." Tula smiles cupping his cheek.

"Me too." Jaden nods as the light engulfed them killing them both instantly.

Determination filled Flash's eyes as he ran as fast as he could creating a big flash of light.

When the light died down, we find ourselves in the Batcave, Flash was with Batman after he had fixed the world and turned everything back to normal.

"Just to review. You went back in time, stopped your mother's murder and completely destroyed the timestream?" Batman asks.

"And I almost destroyed the entire world with it, but for some reason I can still remember everything from my…other life. Even every cake my mom ever made me, but why?" Flash asks.

"Maybe a gift." Batman said.

"Speaking of." Flash walks over and hands Batman a letter.

"This is my father's handwriting." Batman said taking off his mask. As he read it tears built up in Bruce's eyes. "You're one hell of a messenger. Thank you."

"By the way, if you ever end up finding something about a web-slinging, wall-crawling teen look into him. He was a big help to your dad in the other world and he said you could use someone like him." Flash said before running off.

"Interesting." Bruce said wondering if he would ever meet this world's version of Slinger.

In New York City, we find ourselves at a house in a small neighborhood.

"Jaden! Jaden!" A male voice said causing a teenage boy with medium length black hair and blue eyes. "It's time to wake up."

"Yeah I'm up dad." Jaden calls out before getting dressed in a grey shirt, blue jacket and jeans.

Grabbing his backpack, Jaden grabs a piece of toast.

"Have a good day sweetie." His mom said as he drank a glass of juice.

"Don't get into any trouble." His dad said as he headed towards the door.

"I won't." Jaden smiles as he walks out the door.

Heading to the bus stop, Jaden crossed the street but when he arrived at the bus stop, he looked across the street and bumps into someone knocking them to the ground. "Ow. Oh man I am so sorry."

Looking down Jaden saw he had bumped into a girl with short red hair, tan skin, a yellow and blue shirt and shorts.

"No, it's my fault. I wasn't paying attention where I was going." She said as she and Jaden looked each other in the eyes and there was a brief silence. "Have we met?"

"I don't know, I feel like I've seen you somewhere before." Jaden said holding out his hand. "Uh I'm Jaden."

"Tula." She said before he helped her up. "Well Jaden maybe we'll see each other again."

"Yeah, maybe so." Jaden said watching her walk away before disappearing from view.
