Sasha Jocklin had just left work. She was tired and was looking forward to a well deserved nap. She arrived on the doorstep and opened the door. The moment she walked inside, Wildmutt came rushing toward her. He hopped onto Sasha and greeted her with affectionate licking.

"Heeheeheeheehee!" Sasha giggled. "Easy, boy! I'm happy to see you too!" She snuggled and cuddled her loving canine alien friend. "I'd love to play, but I need a nap." She yawned.

Wildmutt nodded in agreement and let Sasha go. The girl trudged up the stairs and felt relief seeing her bed. She flopped down and rested her head on the pillows. She closed her eyes and waited to sleep.

Minutes past. Then minutes became hours.

Sasha was still awake. But why?

Getting up, Sasha left her room and started walking down the hall. Ghostfreak came in through the wall. "Hey, Sasha! Had a good nap?"

"No, I couldn't sleep." Sasha said, shaking her head. "It's weird. I'm tired and want to sleep but...I can't sleep." She let out a yawn.

"Huh. Maybe you got too much on your mind." Ghostfreak deduced. He took Sasha's arm. "Come on, let's see if Frankenstrike can clear your thoughts."

"What?! Clear my thoughts?!" Sasha wasn't able to get an explanation as she was pulled to Frankenstrike's lab

When they got to the lab, Ghostfreak told him Sasha's sleep dilemma. The Transylian scientist thoughtfully rubbed his chin. "Hmm...so Sasha has too much on her mind?" He smiled at Sasha. "Don't worry! I have just the thing for that." He picked up Sasha and brought her to a chair. Sasha became fearful when she saw the restraining straps on the arms and seat of the chair.

Her fears were realized when Frankenstrike put her in the chair and strapped her arms and waist to it. "Wait! What are you gonna do to me?!"

Frankenstrike ruffled Sasha's hair. "Relax. This will help ease your troubled mind." He presented a strange looking metal helmet. "May I present the Soothing Cap. This device will relieve all the stress you have in your head!"

"Then why'd you tie me down to this chair?!" said Sasha. Frankenstrike leaned close to her with a sneaky grin on his scarred face, making Sasha gulp.

"Well..." Frankenstrike reached out and gently tickled Sasha's side. Sasha burst with giggles. "I just made this chair and needed to test it on someone for future projects. So..." He used his other hand tickled Sasha's sides vigorously.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OKAY! OKAY! I GET IT! STOP!" Sasha said in mid laughter.

Frankenstrike stopped and let Sasha rest. He chuckled. "Alright, the chair is good enough to hold you. Now, time for the real test." He put the Soothing Cap on Sasha's head and pressed the on button.

"Oh!" Sasha gasped, frozen momentarily. Then she melted in her binds as a relaxed smile came upon her face. "Ohhhhh...mmmmm..."

"Well? How is it?" asked Frankenstrike, amused by Sasha's reaction.

"It feels like my brain is getting a massage." Sasha said softly. "And it feels so good..."

"Yes, by sending out soothing pulses to the brain, it reduces the stress and anxiety that's keeping you awake." Frankenstrike explained. He took notes as he kept observing Sasha's blissful state.

"Maybe she needs a good foot massage too!" Ghostfreak used his tentacles to rub Sasha's feet.

"Ohhhh! That's good!" Sasha breathed in sweet bliss. "Thank you."

The aliens grinned with pride knowing Sasha was feeling successfully relaxed. With this, she'll be asleep in no time. A few minutes later, Frankenstrike deactivated the Soothing Cap and unstrapped Sasha from the chair. "So, how do you feel?"

"Fantastic!" Sasha said as she stretched out of the chair. "You guys are the best!"

"Now, all that's left is something cozy for you to sleep on!" said Ghostfreak. "I'll carry you to your bed!" He scooped up Sasha and flew her back to her bedroom. He gently tucked her in, but before he could leave, he noticed an odd look on Sasha's face. "What's wrong?"

"Well..." Sasha looked around the room. "I feel wonderful and relaxed. But...I feel like something is missing."

A knock came at the door. "Hello? Sasha?" Whampire entered the room.

"Whammy!" Sasha leaped out of bed and hugged her loving fiancé. They shared a passionate kiss. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too, my sweet angel." Whampire cooed. "Just seeing you sets my heart on fire!" He repeatedly kissed her cheeks, making Sasha giggle. "Only you came tame this hungry beast." He purred deliciously. Sasha felt herself swoon.

Ghostfreak knew where this was going. He decided to give them some privacy and exited through the floor.

"Oh, Whammy!" Sasha's face turned bright red. Flustered, she tried to look away. But Whampire gently held her chin to make her face him.

"Don't hide that adorable face from me." Whampire grinned. "You're so cute when you're shy." He pressed his forehead against hers. They gazed into each other's eye.

"You know, Whammy. I feel hypnotized just looking at you." Sasha admitted. "Those green eyes, that pure white skin, your beautiful, haunting accent." Her eyes twinkled. "And those fangs..."

"My fangs?" The flattered Vladat grinned, showing his fangs.

"Yeah, I just love your smile." Sasha would sing more praises about Whampire, but she turned away to let out a big yawn.

"Are you sleepy, my angel?" asked a concerned Whampire.

Sasha nodded. "Yeah, but I had trouble sleeping. So Frankenstrike and Ghostfreak have been helping me relax. They did an amazing job. But something was missing..." She looked at Whampire and got an idea. "And I know what is."

Frankenstrike came down to grab a snack. When he walked by the living room, he froze.

Sasha was sound asleep at last. Her head was resting on Whampire's lap. The Vladat smiled as he calmly stroked Sasha's head as she slept.

Frankenstrike chuckled to himself as Ghostfreak materialized beside him. "Guess that's what Sasha was missing all along." said Frankenstrike.

"At least we helped her relax." said Ghostfreak.

At that moment, Rachel came into the house. She looked at Frankenstrike and Ghostfreak, who both turned to Rachel and put their index finger in front of their mouths, silently telling her to be quiet.

Confused, Rachel looked in the living room and saw Sasha asleep. She smiled as she saw their point. Rachel beckoned Frankenstrike to come closer. "Say, big guy. Sasha texted me earlier saying you two had a surefire way to relax after a long, stressful day. Can I give it a try?"

The aliens were both surprised, but their surprise quickly became excitement. "We sure do!" Ghostfreak whispered as he and Frankenstrike guided Rachel upstairs. "How about a nice tentacle foot massage?"

"Along with my Soothing Cap." said Frankenstrike. "Relieves all the stress in your head after a long day of hard work!"

"Sounds perfect! Sign me up!" said Rachel.

The aliens couldn't be happier. And neither can Rachel and Sasha. Home will always be the perfect place to relax and be at peace.
