Godric's Hollow, England,

"Avada Kedavra!"

As Voldemort had just said these words, a green spell rushed at a child in a bed: Harry Potter.

Touching his forehead with full force, the reaction was contrary to usual. Instead of dying, the child began to scream as the green beam returned to the sender: The Dark Lord Voldemort. An explosion ensued, and the whole House exploded.

As for later, Dumbledore would come to investigate with Sirius Black and the Aurors, it would be to discover the lifeless bodies of Voldemort, Lily Potter and James Potter. From Harry Potter, there would only be ashes…

The Dark Mark having disappeared and killing the Death Eaters, it was decreed that the pure soul of Harry Potter had got the better of that impious Lord Voldemort. Harry Potter would forever be Honored as the child who defeated Lord Voldemort by his sacrifice, saving the Magical World from a fatal fate.

2 690 A.D. (A'no Dominaeum / In The Year of [Arathi] Rule)

Deadwind Pass, Azeroth,

Running at top speed, a beautiful blond woman with bright eyes was heading for the forest near her " domain ". She was Aegwynn, Guardian of Azeroth and Member of the Council of Tirisfal. She had felt a powerful unholy magic, supposed to be the work of a member of the Burning Legion who managed to penetrate Azeroth.

She found it odd, given that the Deadwind Pass was totally protected by her enchantments thanks to the wards based in Karazhan.

She easily found a small clearing from which the explosion of impious magic seemed to emanate. Without losing a single moment, she entered the clearing before freezing.

There was nothing left, except a large crater.

*cries*

Opening her eyes in surprise, Aegwynn did hear a cry from a baby, or even a toddler. She could not say, having never had children. Approaching the crater carefully, she then noticed a strange thing ...

"A baby ?" Aegwynn asked aloud.

Indeed, a baby was in the centre of the crater. As a precaution, she used magic detection spells to check the scene, and expose a possible ruse. There were no results… there was only the baby in this clearing. She decided to transfer to the crater, approaching the child.

Approaching, she understood that it was not a baby, but a toddler. It was obvious that the little boy was able to move, if only slightly. Approaching the child, she let out a hiccup of surprise when she felt something that is normally impossible: Magic emanated from the child.

Normally, no child is able to emanate magic. She had never seen that before ... The child had stopped crying, looking at her with a large smile. Aegwynn was astonished by the eyes of the child: They were green, enough to put an emerald to shame… and moreover luminous. The child was magic, there was no doubt about it.

"Where are you from?" Aegwynn asked aloud.

The child contented himself with making incomprehensible noises by stretching out his arms. She rolled her eyes, obviously he couldn't answer her. It was while approaching the child that she noticed a blue blanket partially surrounding him. Taking the piece of cloth, she noticed that something was sewn on it.

" Harry "

Nothing else. At least she now knew the child's first name. Narrowing, Aegwynn decided to cast a tracking spell on the object, to determine its origin. Maybe the child came from a family of mages? When the blanket began to shine with a bright purple, Aegwynn's eyes widened.

Purple meant that the object was not from Azeroth. The child was not from Azeroth… yet he was human. Deciding to use her mage vision, she gasped in surprise as she looked at the child. The child shone like a telluric line. Even much more, which was impossible!

"By Thoradin! It's impossible!"

The child was more than magic… he was made of magic. Each breath, each gesture of the child had an influence on the magic of Azeroth, and she could perfectly see it. Even Aegwynn couldn't do it, and yet she controlled colossal magic through the powers of the Tirisfal Council. Come to think of it, this power vaguely resembled that of the Sun Well of the Elves of Quel'Thalas, although more subtle.

She frowned, noticing a black emanation from the child's forehead. She could easily recognize the necromantic magic from the lightning scar, although it did not seem to go beyond that scar. With a simple gesture, she decided to purify the scar. She barely stepped back when she saw a gigantic howling black shadow leave the scar before disappearing. Harry started crying again, and Aegwynn decided to just put him to sleep with a spell of sleep.

She summoned a glass of water which she poured delicately on the forehead of the child in order to clean the black substance having escaped from the scar. She noticed with some surprise that the scar had become less visible, although still present. She then grabbed the child.

She wondered what to do with the child. Stormwind being close, she considered dropping the child off at its orphanage. She ends up shaking her head. The child being magic, he would inevitably become a mage ... surely one of the most powerful mages possible ... There was only one place for a human child capable of magic ... Dalaran!

Losing no time, she conjured a portal leading her straight to Dalaran. Not wishing to be noticed by the Council of Six (she hadn't been on very good terms with them lately), she took the illusion of an old woman. She then went to the Dalaran Orphanage. She was quickly greeted by a young, friendly-looking man. He introduced himself as Director Gifford of the Orphanage. She then explained to him that she had found the child in the forest while she was going to Dalaran to see her daughter. Explaining that her family was poor, and that the old woman was too tired, she asked Gifford to take the child.

Dalaran being one of the richest cities in Azeroth, the Dalaran Orphanage was considered luxurious. As a result, many poor parents could not take care of their children wanted to entrust them to the Orphanage. Frowning, Gifford prepared to refuse the " old woman " before pausing.

Harry had just sneezed, and oddly, the objects on a table had just flown away , bursting a pot there . Eyes wide, Gifford watched the child before nodding. The child must have had a link with magic… so he was in his place in Dalaran. He didn't notice Aegwynn's amused look.

The latter thus left Dalaran, returning to Karazhan while Harry remained in Dalaran to start his new life.

2 690 AD - 2 700 AD (A'no Dominaeum / In The Year of [Arathi] Rule)

This is how Harry Potter's new life began. His last name being unknown, the young boy was named Harry Potter (what a coincidence) thanks to the pot having been destroyed by his magic on his arrival.

He grew up around fifty children, but unfortunately most of them laughed at him or were frightened. They laughed at his scar, calling him " Scar head " or " Bolt head ". Most of all, they were scared of Harry's magic, capable of doing things that only mages can do.

But while the children were frightened, the Dalaran mages quickly noticed the magical prodigy, modifying reality as he saw fit. So, at the age of only six, Harry became an apprentice of the Kirin'Tor. (The Kirin'Tor being the ruling Entity of the Kingdom of Dalaran gathering the magi and their knowledge, forming as well a Magocracy) He actually became the youngest apprentice of the Kirin'Tor, title which was previously attributed to Alodi at the age of 10 years old, the First Guardian.

Harry particularly attracted the attention of the Council of Six, the governing council of the Kirin'Tor and the de facto rulers of the Kingdom of Dalaran. More specifically, it attracted the attention of Kael'Thas Sunstrider. Kael'Thas Sunstrider, Crown Prince of the Elvish Kingdom of Quel'Thalas. Obviously, he was not alone , and the entire elven population of Dalaran noticed Harry.

This was due to their magic acuity, allowing them to feel the magic following their link with the Sunwell. They could thus feel the immense power contained in Harry, which intrigued them at the highest point.

After all, the magic came from outside, but Harry seemed to have an inner magic, slightly similar to the grace of the Sunwell granting power and longevity to the elves.

However, Kael'Thas did not have time to make Harry Potter his apprentice. Indeed, another mage was interested in young Harry. It was Lord Florentinus, Head of the Council of Six. He was a very old man, with a very long white beard reaching to his ankles as well as entirely blue and luminous eyes, linked to his constant use of magic. Over a hundred years old, he was the oldest human in the Kingdom of Dalaran, and he had ruled the Kirin'Tor for over fifty years.

Harry therefore became Lord Florentinus' apprentice. Not losing a moment, the old man took his apprentice to the Hall of Domains. It was a place in which there were several vials shining according to the potential of the person tested. Each vial being linked to a Domain of Magic ( not to be confused with the Schools of Magic) that are : Arcane, Fire, Water, Death and Blood.

Usually a mage had one or even two domains, like Arcane and Water for Florentinus. This did not mean that he could not learn from other areas, but simply that he would have an easier time in the two preferred areas.

Florentinus was not very surprised when the five vials lit up at Harry's approach, though he frowned when he noticed the vial of Death shining more than the others. After that, Harry's magical education began.

To do this, Harry moved directly to the Apprentice Quarters of the Violet Citadel of Dalaran, reserved for apprentices of the Members of the Council of Six. He was surprised to be there alone, the other members having no more apprentices (most of them being old).

Quickly, Harry began to learn the basics of magic, starting with the Arcane Magic that was at the origin of creation. He obtained restricted access to the Library of the Violet Citadel, as well as unlimited access to the other Libraries of Dalaran. Harry could be found in a book most of the time, or with his mentor learning the intricacies of magic.

2 700 AD - 2 710A.D. (A'no Dominaeum / In The Year of [Arathi] Rule)

After ten years, Harry obtained permission to study the Advanced Schools of Magic. He then made an unexpected friend : Kael'Thas Sunstrider. The Elven Prince being someone very approachable and friendly, the latter was not long in establishing a certain friendship with the human with internal magic. He took the opportunity to teach Harry some things, especially in Pyromancy , Aquamancy and Abjuration .

For his part, Harry received the mysterious visit from a woman who had " followed " his progress from afar. Aegwynn revealed the truth to Harry about his arrival, explaining that he probably came from another world. Intrigued, Harry began to deepen his studies in the field of Arcane and Travel. So much so that at the age of fourteen, Harry published his first Thesis called " The existential diversification of the phenomenon of parallelism leading to the possible creation of infinite unbound dimensions forming a multiverse " which earned him the Kirin Tor Sash of Supreme Acumen. His thesis also proved the end of his apprenticeship, and Harry was offered an official place in the Kirin Tor Advanced Research and Illumination Sect.

Harry Potter had officially become a Kirin'Tor Mage, specifically a Kirin'Tor Researcher. To celebrate this event, Kael'Thas invited his young friend to Quel'Thalas to introduce him to his native land. This is how Harry discovered the beauty of the vast forests of Quel'Thalas.

As a guest of Kael'Thas, Harry stayed directly at the Silver Moon Palace where he met Anasterian Sunstrider, High King of the Elves. The King was widowed, his wife having died ten years ago at the venerable age of 415 years.

There he also met Kael'Thas' sister, Kyrianna Sunstrider, Princess of Quel'Thalas. Much younger than Harry, the princess was only 230 years old (barely an adult) while Kael'Thas was 540 years old and Anasterian was more than 2800 years old ( The Sunstrider family seemed more linked to the Sunwell than the rest of their people, granting them a longevity superior to the other elves who live on average up to 500 years ).

Kael'Thas was greatly amused to see Kyrianna very interested in Harry. Harry stayed for several months at Quel'Thalas, having access to the Royal Silvermoon Library, and very limited access to the Silvermoon Council Library (entity jointly directing the Kingdom with the Sunstrider family).

Harry eventually returns to Dalaran to continue his research on magic. He decided to specialize in the arcane field, although he did not forget the other fields.

For several years, he continued his studies and research, helped by Kael'Thas and other mages. And finally, he obtained the coveted title of Archmage at the age of 20, after having obtained a master's degree in the schools of Divination (Research of Information and seeing through distances), of Summoning (invocation of creatures and objects), Abjuration (Protection Magic) and Transmutation (manipulation of space-time).

Obviously, he also had a great skill for Pyromancy (Kael'Thas having helped him well), Aquamancy (still helped by Kael'Thas) and Necromancy (he trained himself, art being little appreciated).

2 710 AD - 2 730 A.D. (A'no Dominaeum / In The Year of [Arathi] Rule)

The years that followed were peaceful for Harry. He developed several theories, and continued his study of dimensions and portals in order to one day regain his original dimension. He also started an unexpected relationship with Kyrianna Sunstrider, to the delight of Kael'Thas (and the greatest displeasure of Anasterian).

One thing was noticed about Harry, however : He seemed to age more slowly than other humans. Despite his 30 years, Harry still looked like a 20 year old man. This strangeness was ultimately attributed to Harry's internal magic, magic that made someone's life longer.

In 2 717, Harry officially married Kyrianna Sunstrider. The ceremony was grand, and Quel'Thalas and the Kirin'Tor celebrated this exceptional event. Being of a less important lineage, it was Harry who joined Kyrianna's family. He officially became Prince Harry Sunstrider born Potter, Prince by Alliance of the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas.

The same year of his marriage, Florentinus died at the age of 131. As a place was vacant on the Council of Six, they offered to replace Harry. This is how Harry became one of the members of the Council of Six.

Having proven his intelligence and his will to move forward, Harry was offered the title of Leader of the Council of Six. He finally accepted, becoming the " non-king " and de facto leader of the Kingdom of Dalaran.

In 2 718 , Kyrianna discovered that she was pregnant. She gave birth to a young half-elf in year 2 719 . Together, Harry and Kyrianna named their child Antonidas. Antonidas inherited part of his father's powers, succeeding at only the age of two in changing the colour of his plush (a red dragon falcon) to purple.

2 730 AD - 2 750A.D. (A'no Dominaeum / In The Year of [Arathi] Rule)

Antonidas proved his great intelligence when he published in 2 732 his first thesis, written with the help of his father : " The Ramifications of refined Reverse Time Travel Phenomena into Quantifiable Magical Practice " . This earned him the Kirin Tor Sash of Supreme Acumen (thus becoming the youngest holder) . Harry was obviously very proud of his son.

Unfortunately, Harry's life rocked by the year 2 739. His wife had gone to Quel'Thalas to visit her family. She had the idea of exploring the southern forests with a group of elves, and they were unfortunately attacked by a group of trolls. Only a courier survived to tell the story of the tragedy.

Harry's grief was such that he disappeared for several days, while Antonidas (and Kael) mourned on their side. After two weeks, Harry reappeared in Dalaran, with a map in his hands which he gave to Kael before going to meditate in his room. The map indicated the location of a troll village near the site of the attack, and when Kael sent scouts, it was learned that the village had been completely devastated while each troll had been planted alive on a spike. There were more than a thousand. The Elves were satisfied with Harry's revenge.

Years passed, and Harry continued to lead the Kirin'Tor with the rest of the Council. Antonidas proved his intelligence and his great abilities, so much so that in 2750, Antonidas replaced a deceased member of the Council of Six. Thus, the Council of Six was composed of 3 Sunstrider… The members of the Kirin'Tor realizing that Antonidas would probably be the next Leader of the Council after the death of his father, they began to speak of " Dynasty ".

2 750 AD - 2 759A.D. (A'no Dominaeum / In The Year of [Arathi] Rule)

However, Harry wanted to explore the universe. He wanted to use his dimensional studies, and he had a grand idea : Create a portal for an unknown world.

With the help of Antonidas, and many mages from Kirin'Tor and Quel'Thalas, they succeeded in creating in 2 758 a portal leading into another dimension. Using Divination, Harry discovered a land full of snow and ice on the other side of the Portal. However, he noticed a big drawback : The gate was one way ! If he were to explore this World, he could never come back.

Using Divination and " Arcane Eyes ", Harry discovered that this World was inhabited by humans, and that magic was present, albeit weaker. He then informed the Council of Six of his wish to lead an expedition.

Supported by his son and Kael'Thas, the Council voted in favour of an expedition. Messages were then sent to the four corners of Azeroth to find volunteers wishing to venture into a new world.

Harry began by choosing his replacement. Knowing that Antonidas wanted to accompany him, he appointed Kael'Thas to the post of Leader of the Council of Six.

Harry being the leader of Kirin'Tor, a renowned Archmage in addition to being a Prince (honorary), he owned a vast domain in the Kingdom of Dalaran as well as a vast army of more than 2,000 men (soldiers and mages confused). Harry and Antonidas decided to take their whole House with them.

But the news having quickly toured Azeroth, hundreds of humans joined Dalaran for this expedition. But they were not the only ones : The Ironforge Dwarfs showed interest in this new snowy land, and a group of 1,000 dwarfs was sent to Dalaran to join the expedition. The dwarfs were led by Adirn Bronzebeard, cousin of the current King Morin Bronzebeard.

For their part, the various Human Kingdoms of Azeroth decided to send groups with Harry, in order to renew the friendship between the Kingdoms. Thus, 500 humans from each kingdom were sent, making a total of 5,000 humans. Taking into account the families wishing to join, this made a grand total of 8,000 humans.

Finally, the Elves decided to send a large group with their expedition. Probably linked to the fact that Harry and Antonidas were members of the Royal family. They were led by the Magistrice Lendra Azuregazer.

Thus, Harry's expedition reaches a grand total of 10,000 members ( 8,000 humans, 1,000 elves and 1,000 dwarfs). Of the 10,000, at least 7,000 were able to fight with a total of 2,000 horsemen, 3,000 soldiers, 1,000 riflemen and 1,000 spellcasters. Without forgetting that there were a lot of builders, engineers, expert-craftsmen etc. Enough to build a kingdom. It was decided that no matter where they went, they would all be united under one banner. The Kirin'Tor being at the origin of this expedition, the chosen symbol was :

A giant purple eye on a blue background crossed by a white lightning bolt.

Everyone on the expedition swore loyalty to Harry, realizing that it would be impossible to back down anyway.

And so it was that in the year 2 760 AD, the Azerothian Expedition led by Harry Sunstrider, and his son Antonidas, crossed a giant portal in the direction of the unknown. When the gate closed, Kael'Thas understood that he would never see his brother-in-law or his nephew again.
