A/N: Hello! I haven't written in quite a while so I'm glad to be doing this, but first, a note:

Rated T just in case. With the personality of Bakugou and the past of Todoroki I want to be sure.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and if you have any critique, please review!

With the invention of the provisional license, many people were limited in their quirk use. Quirks, in most cases, are generally harmless. Just something as inconsequential as having green eyes or curly hair. A minor difference between people that most overlook. However, using your quirk on another person is a different story.

Some people's quirks just seem to be made to mess with others, and anyone unfortunate enough to have been affected by those types of quirks knows that all too well. Whether it be appearance altering quirks, mind-altering ones, or in one case, species switching, the result is almost never good.

These types of villains, if you can even call them that, are usually just bored kids and teens who just so happen to have a quirk that works perfectly with pranks. But even children can cause trouble.

Bakugou Katsuki, Midoriya Izuku, and Todoroki Shoto were taking a trip to their local grocery store, and it just so happened that a bored group of middle schoolers was looking for a distraction to brighten up their day. What a lovely coincidence!

"Kacchan wait up!" Izuku blurted, being forced to jog in order to keep up with his friend and classmate. It was a wonder he had managed to convince Bakugou to join him on this trip and now he was paying the price. If Kirishima had been able to join them it might have been different, but he was too busy catching up on homework.

Bakugou failed to slow down, in fact, he sped up, shooting a glare back at his childhood friend. With a sigh of defeat, Izuku sprinted as quickly as he could. Was it just him or was Kacchan more irritated than usual today?

Other than himself and Bakugou, Todoroki had also been able to tag along. At the moment the taller teenager was staring at his classmates, a look of slight curiosity on his face.

Izuku panted as he screeched to halt beside Bakugou. It was humid and sunny, the worst combination. Sweat made his pale green T-shirt cling to his sides and the humidity would make sure it stayed that way for a while.

Right then, Izuku would have traded anything for Todoroki's quirk.

Well actually… did Todoroki's quirk help him during the heat?

He had assumed it did but then again he could only use his ice on his right side. Did that mean he could only cool himself down on the right side? Does that mean he'd only sweat on his left?

That brought up another question, was Kacchan's quirk affected by humidity? Sweat doesn't dry as quickly when it's humid so-

Izuku failed to notice that stares from passing people as they walked, lost in his own rabbit hole of thoughts. He was prone to mumbling and being out in public didn't help.

He didn't even notice as Bakugou glared at him until-

"Shut up!"

Izuku jumped, abruptly snapping out of his short-lived stupor. Bakugou raised his hand and let out a volley of miniature explosions, though the display wasn't necessary. Izuku knew full well what Kacchan was capable of.

He raised his hands up in submission, "S-Sorry!"

Bakugou's gaze lingered a moment longer before turning back around with a small "Tch."

It had gotten easier to deal with the explosive teenager lately but the threats still scared the crap out of him all the same.

It was like being transported back to those days in middle school, even if it was only for a split second. Explosions and All those biting remarks...

With a sigh Izuku pushed those thoughts aside; it wasn't worth dwelling on at the moment. What mattered now was having a good time with his friends!

"Bakugou, are your vocal cords damaged?"

Or maybe what mattered now was preventing Kacchan from murdering Todoroki.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Bakugou turned to face his classmate, one hand already raised to attack. Todoroki didn't take up the challenge, his even expression and cool demeanor unchanged.

"I was just asking a question," he said, "you yell a lot so I presumed-"

"You presumed wrong Half 'n half, so don't so nosy unless you want to be sent straight to hell."

Izuku gave them both a nervous smile, "Guy's were almost there." He may have been glad to be spending time with his friends but this wasn't going to be easy...

The store was pretty tiny, a small main section that was only a bit bigger than a U.A dorm room. It had an engraved wooden sign hanging above the front door along with a tiny silver bell and a worn welcome matt.

It was quaint but Izuku liked the homely feeling it gave off. It also might have helped that there were two large All Might posters plastered on the front windows.

"What is this place?" Todoroki joined the shorter boy by the entrance along with Bakugou.

"It's just a general store," Izuku felt kind of giddy as he stared at a display case near the front desk. It was full of All Might action figures; from his young age too current. "My mom and I used to come here when I was little, she likes their produce and I.."

He trailed off, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"I liked their All Might collection..." His voice quivered a bit on those last words and he could feel some heat rising to his face, a shakey smile struggling to form on his lips.

Todoroki just nodded, Bakugou shoving his way past the both of them and into the store.

There weren't many other people in there, just an old couple in the back and what looked to be middle schoolers in a far corner. Lucky for Izuku, this meant he could browse their All Might figurines without much trouble.

Todoroki and Bakugou each occupied themselves with something else, Bakugou looking through their spice collection. To the classes surprise, though Izuku had known for a while now, he had turned out to be quite the experienced cook.

When they were younger Bakugou would watch Inko cook when he visited, using a chair to raise his tiny body until he was able to see clearly. Izuku used to watch his mother cook as well, but he never was quite as interested as Bakugou. The spiky-haired little boy would always question Inko. "What is that?" "Is that basil?" "Let me stir!" Even as a small child he was loud.

Kacchan's always liked to cook huh?

Meanwhile, Todoroki took a look at their hero magazines. Particularly one titled: "All Might and his rise to fame" while purposefully ignoring the multiple about Endeavor.

It was fun to do something so ordinary with his friends. After so many life or death experiences, it was fun just to do something normal for a change. The Overhaul situation, the Training Camp, the U.S.J...

Isuku shook his head. He got stuck in his thoughts way too easily.

He had just been about to ask the store clerk about a Bronze Age All Might figure when a voice caught his attention.

"Hey," he turned to see a group of three-four middle school kids looking at the three U.A students. The one who'd spoken was a boy with dark black hair and very bright green eyes.

"You guys are from U.A right?" the boy spoke again and Izuku found that he couldn't control the smile on his face.

"Y-Yeah, we are," he replied, gesturing to Bakugou and Todoroki. "I'm Midoriya Izuku."

The boy didn't smile back. "They are?"

"Oh! That's Todoroki and that's Ka- er, Bakugou." The kid seemed satisfied enough, a tiny smirk tugging at the edge of his lips.

"We recognized you from the sports festival," one of the boy's friends, a girl with long brown hair, goat-like features, and fawn eyes with sideways pupils spoke up. She stared at all three of them, her gaze flicking back and forth between them, her cheeks slightly rosy.

Izuku didn't say anything, but she was clearly nervous.

By now Bakugou and Todoroki were standing slightly behind Izuku, neither looking very welcoming. That didn't seem to bother the boy though.

"Nice to meet you!" Izuku beamed the brightest smile he could, his cheeks slightly reddened, holding out a hand in greeting.

The boy grinned. Izuku didn't notice anything was wrong, despite how eerie that smile looked... However, both Bakugou and Todoroki did take note, moving to stop the boy but it was too late, the hand had already connected with Izuku's.

A series of blinding lights flashed through the green-haired student's vision like a strobe light had been shoved in front of his face.

It was disorienting to say the least.

Instantly he snapped his hand away from the boys, a sharp ringing developing in his ears. His balance was thrown off, his vision blocked by flashing lights and his hearing drowned out.

Distantly he could tell someone had shouted his name, whether it was Todoroki of Kacchan he didn't know. He could also sense he was falling, though only for a moment when.

His body slammed into both of his friends sending them all down, tumbling onto the floor. As U.A students they should have at least been able to try and stop themselves, use their quirks, or just their reflexes, but they didn't even attempt to.

The moment Izuku made contact with Todoroki and Bakugou they all passed out.

Shota had been having a fairly good day. With school out for the evening, he got the chance to enjoy some alone time with a good cup of tea in actually comfortable clothes. His small studio apartment didn't give him much space but he didn't mind. Being a hero and a full-time teacher meant that he rarely got to stay here for long anyway.

Nonetheless, he made the most of the time he did.

Sitting on his old sofa he pulled out his phone, absently watching the steam from his tea float through the air. Closing his eyes he took a sip of the hot liquid.

He'd been told by Nezu that it was a chamomile blend. It was supposed to help with anxiety and make him sleepy but so far he didn't really notice a difference. No matter if it worked or not Aizawa had grown to like the taste as long as he added some sugar so why not?

It had become a ritual of sorts. He'd arrive back from teaching or hero work and boil water while he changed into casual clothes. He'd let the tea sit and brush his hair while he waited.

That brushing hair bit never did much good as it was only for a minute or two but he tried.

After that he'd settle with some tea on his couch and scroll through his phone, maybe put on a T.V series if he felt like it.

Today he followed that ritual exactly, scrolling through the messages on his phone, skipping over the ones Yamada had sent.

Seeing nothing new he prepared to finish his tea and crash on the couch when-

A ringing interrupted the quiet evening air and he glanced at the contact, thoroughly confused. The contact read: Recovery Girl.

"Aizawa?" the old woman's voice chattered. He took one last sip of tea before clearing his throat.

"Yes?"

"I'm glad to see your still awake," she sighed, "if you can, come to the school clinic, a few of your students were affected by a quirk and-"

Shota didn't need her to finish that sentence. No matter how idiotic they could be and no matter how much they irritated him, he had a responsibility to them, and he cared for them more than he liked to admit. He'd be there.

"Are they alright?" he asked, tossing on a more appropriate shirt, in place of the worn white sweater he wore to sleep.

"Yes, they are, they're unconscious so you'll want to be here once they wake."

"Which students?" even as he spoke he knew.

Problem child.

"Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki," she said. Shota sighed, wrapping the hanging scarf around his neck. His guess was correct. All of class 1-A had a habit of getting into trouble, but those children seemed to get into trouble more often than the others.

Midoriya even more so... That child always seemed to be involved whenever something bad happened. The number of bones he'd broken was almost like a tally.

Shota slipped on his shoes, grabbing the yellow sleeping bag slumped near the door and hauling up onto his shoulder. The evening was muggy, a small breeze rustling bits of his black hair while he tugged the front door.

"I'll be right there."
