Part 1 - News and Reactions!

A/N: I am starting another new story that has been floating around in my head last few weeks, so I finally got the guts to begin this story. This story is abit different but still with Hermione only this time it will be son of Severus and Marlene McKinnon (the two had a love child just few months before Marlene with her whole family was killed by Voldemort and his death-eaters late 1979-early 1980 i believe it happened in the original story of Harry Potter, correct me if you want to, those of you who knows better. It also will anger Sirius Black, as he thought Marlene loved him as he had asked her to marry him, but she declined due to the war and to ask after it was over, but it never happened...So if you like if not love the story just by reading this part, then get lost for I DO NOT NEED your mean comments. English is not my first language, and even in my own language, Swedish I suck at grammar but i DO NOT need your own comments about it too... I know I have flaws, do you yourself a favour and get those away from me. OK? Rant over! Onto the story.

Hermione arrived with a boy who looked alot like Severus Snape and himself was with them behind them, the boy also had Severus' eyes, but he also had no sneer or disgusted look on his face, instead he looked rather stoic and pokerfaced, Hermione was holding his hand that was not visable for others to see yet. The three sat down, just as Dumbledore and McGonagell arrived stopping anyone to ask who the hell the boy was and why Hermione came in with them, as Dumbledore said

"Ah you must be Jacob?" The boy beside Hermione nodded with a smile, as he said in soft spoken voice;

"Yes, I am, you must be Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts?" At that, Dumbledore said with smile on his face;

"I am, yes, and I am glad to finally gotten to meet you, as your father has spoken of you often over the years, so I am happy to see a face for the name Jacob." Making Jacob smile abit bigger, and he looked over at his father rather quickly, who nodded at the unasked question, and Jacob sat back,and Hermione relaxed next to him and Severus. Unknown for most except the two who arrived and Severus, Jacob and Hermione were married for 2 years now, it was a year after war was over. The two gotten married Christmas of her 6th year at Hogwarts, while Jake was graduated at that time year before. Both born same year, just he was born in april, and she in september 1979, same month that Jake's mother Marlene McKinnon had been killed with her whole family, and it cost Severus to take his baby son at the time, to friends of his in America to take his son in and raise him away from the war, and in return when Jake was old enough he got the news of what happened and why he was left with the couple and Jake at first been rightfully angry at them all but then he accepted it and he knew he could write to his father and ask him anything too, so over the years with everything going on, he did write his father every now and then, just they had a bond to begin with when it was time and able to see each other again.

During the years, Hermione had after her disaster year of 5th year, went with her parents to America where she then met Jake, who told her everything after some time to get know each other and knowing each other being witch/wizard, and who his parents were and Hermione in turn had told Jake her years at Hogwarts and how his father had to act towards her and friends. Jake had taken it well, as he knew the plans of how his father would be like during the years with Voldemort around still. Hermione had told him that she was friends with two boys, the boy of who lived and a Ronald Weasley. She also told she had an incline of that Ron had some feelings for her, but she in turn did not have those feelings for him, as she still saw him as a bully and lazy brat, which had caused Jake laugh quiet loudly at her words of that being said about this boy. She was already in love with Jake, so Ronald would know in time he had no chance at all with her. Jake too had fallen in love with her aswell, so they kept it all quiet and long distanced, her parents absolutely loved him already at first glance. So Hermione was happy to have her parents on her side of this, and when all got too much, Jake told her parents to come and stay in the city he lived in and be safe from the deatheaters and Hermione in turn told a white lie of what she had done with her parents, being oblivated and sent to Australia with new names and no memory of her being their daugther. But in reality her parents was living in the town Jake lived in with his parents so they were safe and sound there for now still living there, as they had fallen in love with the city during the time and decided to stay there. Hermione was happy for them to be there too.

Harry, Ronald and Ginerva sat there staring at her being between their hated professor and this boy Jacob. They just couldn't believe that Hermione rather sat with those two then them. Sirius on other hand stared at Jake alot and before he or the three could say anything, Albus then stood up and said

"I am so happy to see you all alive and well as possible after such horrible war and time with Voldemort and his followers. His followers that survived, are now in Azkaban for life or been sentenced to Dementor's Kiss for their horrible crimes. So all is well now at last. Now to other things that needs to be brought up is few things to deal with and get on with. Firstly, it is now a mandatory to go all 7 years at Hogwarts as your parents payed for the fee for all 7 years so you are all going back for another year no matter what you think or want. (making some groans or shouts of unfair that it was, Hermione rolled her eyes at that being said). Second is a new law, and that is a Marriage Law!"

As soon that was said, most shouted how bloody unfair and how dare they do so. Albus made some sparks go up in the air of the room, as everyone turn quiet and looked at him as he then continued to say;

"The law is a mandatorial one, it is for the those who are 17-25 years old and it is for we need new blood in our society and so the ministry will pair you up with a partner of their choice, it will be pureblood/muggleborn or half/muggleborn pairings only, no one who is a pureblood and a halfblood are allow to be paired up together or become together. You are expected to have a child within 2 years of marriage and 4 children is the maximun amount per couple to have. More will be in Evening Edition of Daily Prophet of the rules and more information of the Marriage Law tonight."

He then sat down, and everyone began talking as Kingsley stood then up, and he said

"This law was due to that we lost too many during the years of Voldemort's reign in our magical world, and so we need to replenish our population of people with magic, but also new blood families to be mixed, as we have over years seen many squibs and deformaties being with the child who is born with first and second cousin being forced and made to marry, to stop that happened more the pairings with a muggleborn with a half or pureblood will put a stop of that ever happened again. This was also found by me doing some research on the bloodlines of different familes and saw that it actually could get deadly if continued on. So this is now a law, and no one is to complain or whine of how unfair it is, for it is to save you and your future of being deformed or have squib children to be born more frequently."

Many looked shocked of his news and talk, but Hermione and Jake sat back in relaxed mode for now. Harry and Ginny clunged to each other, Ronald stared at Hermione with hopes of being paired up with her. But what a shock he would get very soon. As the letters would come by very soon.
