...And I am back. Enjoy the chatper! (Yes, I am saying that now. You have to read Is Dudley Really Dumb on PeetaoBreadAndHumus' account to understand.) Oh, and I noticed I'm the only one of us who has done a disclaimer. I guess this goes for everyone on the forum?

"I just can't get it!" I told her.
"It's fine," She replied. "Most first-years don't get the whole needle until they have practiced for a while."
"But I'm not most first-years!" I told her, leaning back in my chair. She giggled and told me to work on it. I groaned.
"But why?" I asked. "Can't we just be done with work for today?" She smiled.
"Actually, I have the perfect place for us to go." I shrugged, and she stood up.
"Lead the way!" I announced. She ran out the door to the library, with me following close behind. We walked towards a neglected shelf in the back of the archives, with exceedingly boring books no one ever seemed to read.
"Here," She said, pulling out a book that looked especially boring. What good was 'The Life Cycle of a Cashmere Sweater?' And who would even read that? When the girl pulled the book out of the shelf, the bookcase split into two and revealed a small passage behind it.
"Come." She beckoned me forth, and I followed. We walked briskly through the corridor, and found ourselves at a medium sized room filled to the brim with books I had never heard or seen before. She plopped herself down on a beanbag, and gestured to the wall around me.
"Whoa. What is this place?" I asked her. She just smiled.
"Many of the wonders of the castle are hidden from sight. Enjoy this one." I smiled up at her, looking solemn.
"Thank you." I looked at her with wonder and she looked down at me.
"Okay." Laila was always a little awkward with compliments. Today was not an exception.
I walked into the courtyard and sat down at a table, getting out my book. The perfect way to let yourself roam away from life and your duties was to immerse yourself in a good book.
"Hi." I looked up. There was a guy, the one with blue hair, standing above me.
"Hey Jaxon." I replied to him. His mouth opened and closed like one of those puppets on the strings.
"Um- how do you know my name?" He asked me.
"Good memory. From the sorting, you know." I told him. "What's my name?" He answered almost immediately.
"You're El." I nodded curtly and smiled.
"Yep. You were in the boat thing with Rue and I," I said, remembering. "She was blushing before I got in." Jaxon just stared.
"Uh, okay." He looked kind of confused, but I decided to let the poor boy be. "Do you know where Olympus is?" He asked. I smiled.
"Last I checked, she was over that way." I pointed towards the forest. Wait… the forest? Jaxon's eyes widened. "Do you think she's in-" I began asking, but Jaxon finished.
"-The forbidden forest?" He asked, looking wildly around. I stood up, marking my page in my book and putting it off to the side.
"Oh man. Let's go see." I started jogging towards the edge of the forest, with Jaxon following close behind.
"Look." Jaxon breathed, pointing to two girls just inside the forest. What? I could understand that Olympus would be in there for some reason, as she was a fifth year, but why was Rue? My question was soon answered, though, when Olympus slowly walked out of the forest with Rue floating behind her.
"She can seriously cast a levitation spell." I remarked, earning a silent glare from Jaxon.
"Shush. She might see us!" He whispered, clamping my mouth shut with his hand. I shut up. Olympus carefully walked up to the castle, squeezing her eyes tight and breathing deeply.
"She's going to the hospital wing." I theorized, watching her closely. Jaxon nodded and stood up. He started walking away, then turned back and motioned for me to follow.
"I know a way." He said, looking a little bit embarrassed. "You know, with my-" He swallowed, "Brother and all." I looked at him quizzically.
"Your brother?" I asked him. "I didn't know you had a brother!" He looked at me gratefully.
"Really?" He asked, sounding slightly relieved. "His name is Alec." I nodded.
"Alec West?" I asked him. Alec West was practically a legend in Hogwarts. He had an ability to prank that could rival the Marauders, and his grades weren't bad, either. "He's like my mom's fav-" I stopped myself before I could spill anything else.
"Your mom's favorite what?" Jaxon inquired.
"Nothing, never mind." I muttered, silently cursing myself for nearly revealing one of my secrets. By that time, we had reached a small, locked door, and Jaxon, seemingly understanding, didn't ask further and instead nodded and tried to open it.
It wouldn't budge.
"Um, do you need me to…?" I got out my wand and mimed doing a spell. He nodded gratefully and stepped away. "Alohomora!" I recited the incantation, as the lock untwisted itself and a clicking noise sounded quietly. Jaxon tried opening the door again, and miraculously it opened. We ran inside, our footsteps loudly reacting on the hard stone floor.
"I think… it's this way." Jaxon ran down one of the many hallways, and I followed. Soon, I began to recognize the decorations and rooms. We tumbled into the infirmary, just witnessing Olympus get shooed out by the matron. I gulped and walked up to her.
"Hi Madame Pomfrey!" I looked up at her with my big, bright eyes. "My friend and I heard that another friend of ours- Rue, I think- hit her head or something." Matron smiled.
"It's so sweet and caring of you to check on her." She said. "She wore herself out, but I can take a message for her when she comes around."
"Can you tell her she should watch her energy next time?" I asked. "And if she feels like, even just a little faint, she should stop what she's doing and do twenty jumping jacks?"
"And she should never, ever, do that again." Jaxon spoke up in this teeny, squeaky, voice. Guess he wasn't much of a public speaker.
"Accio Chocoballs!" I summoned a few candies for Rue, when she woke up, as she would more than likely need them. "Bye, Madame Pomfrey!" I called, waving at her as I started walking towards the door. "I would love to stay, but Rue probably needs some time alone right now. We want her to heal up, right?" She smiled and playfully shooed us out the door. Jaxon scurried out of there as fast as we came in, with me following close behind.
"How do you have such a great relationship with her?" He asked, as we were walking back to the courtyard where I left my books and he left, well, I don't know what he left. I shrugged.
"She's just a cool person." I looked down, praying he wouldn't ask more.
"Okay." He shrugged, and we walked in silence back to the courtyard.
And CUT! That's a bit shorter than last time, but I hope you enjoyed it!
