A/N

Wow... I thought, out of the two, Hordak would be the easiest POV to write from... I was sooooo wrong! lol.

I loved doing this, I don't know why. I tried to keep him as brilliant but clueless as possible, I hope that read well. He was NOT an easy write. Though I imagine Entrapta would be just as freaking hard. I had to get my damn Medical Terminology book out... LOL

Anyways, This is T for a certain part in this story that I was GOING to use to point towards a smut story, but... I couldn't really bring myself into doing it. I, instead, turned it into a funny Cliff Hanger. ^_^

I hope you enjoy! This is my second toe dip into this fandom and I have to say... It feels really weird to expand my wings this far.

I do not own any of these characters... DreamWorks and the Lovely Noelle Stevenson do... I'm just taking her characters on a journey.

OH... Ummm... this is set after Season 5 and could contain spoilers... Read at your own risk but... Enjoy, nonetheless!

The memories in Hordak's head from the last few months were fuzzy. A static of green with hazes of red and purple. He looked down at Entrapta as she fused pieces of cable and reconfigured the clone room at the Fright Zone. She was the one clear thing in his head. What feeling was this? This... This desire to touch her. His hands folded behind his back twitched. He needed to preoccupy his mind. He cleared his throat and that made the short woman pause. She turned her head and her hair raised the mask.

"I wondered if I could be of some assistance. It seems my..." he turned his head to look over at the one called "Wrong Hordak" that was moving debris and chunks of destroyed robots from the mass area and Hordak sighed out, "... brother has been of use. I would like to be of more use to you." That last sentence struck him odd and he felt a weird fluttering. Was it the use of the YOU? He felt foolish.

Whatever had made him feel weird must've went right over the woman's head. She smiled her normal grin and began rambling, "Oh. I'm sorry. If you want, you could a full diagnostic on the imbionic sacs. I configured the Prime tech with a conjunction of the code I got from Darla when she was connected with She-Ra. I'm still stuck on the proper distribution of the cellular manipulation with healing, but a few more tests and I'll have at least one of the pods up and functioning properly."

He smiled and gave a nod. He saw her face go a shade brighter than it normally did. He tilted his head in confusion and the woman closed her eyes shut then flipped her mask back down before turning away from him. She pointed with her hair where to go and went back to work again.

He looked back at her at the suddenly change of her demeanor but didn't pry further. He went to the console then looked over at where she was stationed. How he had missed her voice... her smile... her. He felt that weird feeling in his chest again before focusing on the sequence of the diagnostics. He... He kept looking over at where she was and it was actually angering him.

What had she done to him? Through his time in the hive mind, her face would flash in his cerebral memory bank as if she had been a virus infecting his data. He had tried to purge the thoughts of her out, but they only came back stronger. Her touch... Her voice... they had all been embedded into his code.

Hordak growled and his claws scrapped across the surface of the console loudly and he stepped away. He needed... He needed... his gaze drifted to where Entrapta now looked over at him and a jolt struck him. What was he feeling? Was he malfunctioning? He... He couldn't risk the chance of it. If it was something that could corrupt his code, it may make him... hurt her. His flight or fight initiated an escape protocol and he fled from the room... he could hear her calling out his name in the distance... a piercing scream that burned down his spine.

There was only one place he could go... Bright Moon. That's where the Princesses were. He could determine if he were of threat with them. That boy with the primitive weapon seemed to be able to decipher Entrapta's work... he could help. Bright Moon... destination acquired.

Hordak traveled far from the Fright Zone to Bright Moon and lost daylight because of it. He crawled to the top of a hill and found what he was looking for in a deep valley filled with tents, clones, and happy people. His eyes fell to the Princesses, along with Catra, a horse with wings, and the boy he was in search of all sitting around a fire happily chatting away with one another. They looked pleased and at ease. He... balled his clawed hands into a fist and debated whether or not this was a good idea. He took a step back but was stopped by a mass behind him.

Hordak turned, frightened, and looked into the eyes of the lizard horde solider whose name escaped him... and a familiar face wrapped against its chest... "Imp?"

His former small companion gave a dull clicking in surprise then chirped a high pitched happy squeak as it reached out its hands and opened its mouth wide to let out a loud, "HORDAK!"

He backed away, his ears drooping in confusion and overwhelming emotion, and looked up to see the lizard snarling a growl at him... just before the blonde horde solider swept around the beast, "Holy Crap! Lord Hordak?"

He calmed a bit at the recognition of the boy and shook his head, "I am no longer anyone's Lord, cadet."

The blonde smiled and held the lizard's hand. The creature calmed his snarl and the boy spoke, "Well, we're no longer anyone's cadet. Me and Rogelio here were about to head down to the camp. Would you like to join us?"

He looked to the two then at the Imp chirping his name softly. He couldn't back down now... he needed answers and reassurance, "Yes. I would like that."

The blonde smiled and pulled Rogelio along down the path and he hesitantly joined them. The boy spoke again with a crack in his voice, "You probably don't remember me, but... my name is Kyle. This is my partner Rogelio."

That word! It made him flinch and he shook his head. Entrapta called them, Lab Partners... was that the same thing? Did the 'Lab' part change the meaning of the word 'Partner'? He walked to keep up and asked curiously, "Could you explain the word "Partner" to me?"

The two looked at him with a look of bafflement, but Kyle nodded with a slight grin and spoke as they walked, "Well, to me it means Rogelio and I are friends, but yet MORE than friends. It's so much more complicated than that... Ummm... Let's see... We have each other's backs and will be there for each other through good and bad times. I miss him when he's gone and nearly cry of joy when he's back. I would do anything for him. Anything to make him happy. I think about him all the time and wonder if he's thinking of me..."

The words Kyle spoke were making his chest tighten up as he continued to speak. Did adding LAB in front of this word change its meaning? It just indicated location... did... did Entrapta ever feel this way about HIM? He found himself having trouble catching his breath as the camp fire surrounded by his once solemn enemies and comrades. He stopped just on the outskirts of the shadows and Kyle paused too.

Hordak was becoming overwhelmed and he began to shake. What right did he have to be here? Why didn't he think of this BEFORE he headed down here? The pain and suffering he'd caused these people... he knew no amount of empty apologies could ever heal those wounds. His eyes cut to Catra who was standing while others sat. Her ears were flat and matched his own posture. He felt a cold chill rip his soul out of his body as everyone turned to look at him.

Adora stood and smiled while reaching her hand out and beckoning him, "Hordak! Hey... Oh Wow... Ummm... why don't you come on in and... uhhh... join us."

Kyle and Rogelio took their spot by the fire and Imp busted free of his papoose and hovered over the lizard's head before zipping straight to him. The creature slammed into his neck and cradled into a hug as it chirped, happily. It took Hordak by surprise, but he soon smiled softly and hugged back with both hands, "Hello old friend. I'm glad to see you safe."

He looked back to the fire and saw that the gathering had smiled at the interaction and even slid over to allow him access to the group. He approached and took a seat to the ground. It was so very odd... he was apart of a Hive Mind and yet... he had never felt so connected than sitting in a circle with these people. Imp crawled to his shoulder and leaned into his head... the creature's favorite spot... and joined with him as he watched the close-knit clan.

Family. He had learned that word but never really got the meaning. It was like the hive, but... more. None of these people were related by blood or from the same pod... yet... they were family to one another. It fascinated him. Though the entirety of this clan considered one another "family", within these groups were those who paired off into mating groups.

Hordak watched these couples interact. Their hands were bold. Fingers through hair, touching each other's faces, curled within the other hands... it was more intimate than he could ever muster with his claws. He looked down at his talons and his ears drooped. They looked terrifying... they WERE weapons... how could he think about touching something as delicate as Entrapta? Imp curled into his grip and chirped as it once again synced with his emotional waves. The little creature was an empath and he had forgotten how much he actually missed the creature's constant pulse in his mind. It wasn't as intrusive as the Hive yet still fed off his emotions, but it was to share instead of demand.

He sighed out and his eyes cut across to Adora and Catra. His ears straightened up as he watched them rest their foreheads against one another. It seemed more intimate than hands. What did it signify? Why was this so foreign to him? Is this what it truly meant to be a 'Partner'? He continued to watch as Adora's hand cupped the cat girl's cheek and caressed the skin with her thumb just before nuzzling the woman's face and putting her orifice against Catra's.

Hordak's eyes went wide with utter shock. What were they DOING? What... What was the purpose of THAT!? Why would anyone put such dirty apertures that were made for food consumption and linguistical communication... and why was it making his heartbeat accelerate? Imp screeched as in his confusion and excitement made him go to his knee and point deliberately towards them as his voice boomed across the fire, "What is the meaning of THIS!? What is the purpose of... of... this action?" He saw everyone staring at him, again and he felt foolish. Imp was on top of his head mimicking his action.

"It's a kiss..." Catra scoffed out, "You don't know what a kiss is? Wow..."

Adora shouldered her and smiled, "It is a show of affection. Usually between..."

He sat back and hoarsely spoke out, "... partners?"

Adora spoke from the side of her mouth as she rubbed the back of her head, "Uh... Yeah... Partners."

Hordak nodded and continued his questions, "To what end does this... Kiss... provide?"

He heard a lot of them softly laughing as a few blushed and pressed closer to their partner. Adora cleared her throat and seemed just a flustered as the few and Catra took the helm, "Mating, usually. Possibly some mutual cuddling or stroking. Do you clones even HAVE genitalia?"

"CATRA!" Adora yelped as the cat woman shrugged, "What!? It's a viable question. Hordak... can you and the other clones procreate?"

Though it seemed to be an uncomfortable question to some, it was actually an intriguing question. Mating was unnecessary due to being a disposable host for Horde Prime's endless sight. He looked down at his claws and shook his head, "No. We do clones only had one purpose and that was to Horde Prime."

Catra's question had spurred a few of the Princess's curiosity. The one that controlled the vegetation scooted closer to the fire from beside Force Captain Scorpia, "Love isn't about procreating. It's about being with the ones you hold dear. There is a way for one to love someone more than others, but it's not biased. You asked what a kiss insinuates... that's up to you and your partner. Hordak... Love isn't just a means to mate... it's a feeling that can burn and lift you up at the same time."

Hordak gasped inaudibly as he watched Scorpia scoop the woman into her embrace, "Love? That word... Horde Prime believed it to be an empty word without him to fill it. It means... more to you all. You... friend of Queen Glimmer..."

The boy in question flinched as everyone looked at him. Glimmer barked out, "His name is Bow."

Hordak nodded, "Forgive me... Bow. I need you to... Well... I was wondering if you could do a diagnostic on me. I feel as though... I am malfunctioning."

Everyone tensed up but not in a way that he felt threatened and Bow moved from the Queen's arms and asked worriedly, "How so?"

He frowned, knowing his ears fell flat, Imp clicking and crawling on his shoulder, "My vital signs continue to fluctuate as my inner abdomen has a reduction of blood flow while having an increase of blood flow to my buccae. I am unable to concentrate on any of the work and when I do... my thoughts are interrupted."

Bow's face softened and he noticed the facial expressions of everyone around the fire did the same as the boy asked softly, "Who is it you're thinking about?"

Hordak sat back, that blood flow to his cheeks hitting again, and he shook his head, "It seems you already know who. What does that matter? I need to make sure I'm no threat to anyone. Please run your di..."

Bow's words cut through, "... your programming is just fine, Hordak." He smiled right at him before shrugging, "You're just..."

"Oh My GOD... You're in love with ENTRAPTA!" boomed Force Cap... Scorpia. The large woman cleared over the fire and scooped him into a forced hug that seemed to make everyone snort a laugh. He was shocked to see the large Princess had tears in her eyes as she smiled warmly at him, "You gotta go tell her. You just gotta!" Everything in his mind was cluttered up like a knot but the simple words of this woman... could it really be that simple?

Hordak was put back down, but a claw stayed on his shoulder as she used the other to wipe her eyes. He coughed out a laugh and put his hand on her pincer, "I thank you, Princess." He emphasized on the Princess for mostly himself in pride that he didn't call her Force Captain, "And Bow..." Scorpia took back her claw with a timid smile as Bow grinned wide and nodded. Hordak cleared his throat, "I will take my leave back to the Fright Zone. But... please know that... I truly regret ever causing any of you harm." Scorpia went back to her seat as he put his arms behind his back and finished, "I know I don't deserve forgiveness and that a measly apology will never make up for all the suffering I've caused... but... please know that I am truly so very sorry." All of their faces seemed unaffected by his words until each of them began saying the same sentence all around the fire, "I forgive you."

He bowed, graciously, and found tears forming before he thanked them all and sank deeper into the shadows.

He wanted to be faster as his thoughts were getting more erratic. The words shared around the fire were blaring loudly in his head. Flashes of Entrapta, his hand in hers, her smile and laughter echoing in his head... This was no error... it was... Love. It was causing him bodily harm yet... he yearned for it... for her. He growled in frustration at the conversation Catra brought up. What good was he to Entrapta if he could not produce her an heir? Did she even want one? His feet got heavier as he thought out loud, "Does she even want ME?"

The panic was back in his chest and he fought with it. His mind mocking and clawing him as if they were enemies. He roared out and marched forward. There was no use in doubt until the one in question was brought into the equation. He moved a few more feet until a small noise made his ears wiggle. He froze and looked around the whispering woods, in pitch darkness, trying to pinpoint the location of the sound. He heard it again... and this time he knew... it was a female's cry... he snarled and moved towards it.

He followed the series of whimpers and grunts that seemed to have different wave lengths to them to an opening where the light of the moons of Etheria blazed down. There sounded like two females... as frequent and aggressive as their cries sounded, he was worried they may have been in trouble. He stopped on a dime as the moonlight revealed the two women... safe... yet seemed to be attacking one another. One had the helmet of a Bright Moon soldier that was leaning backwards on the an old stump with her hand firmly on the head of the other woman... darker skinned with her braids in a ponytail. That woman was between the guard's legs and had her arms scooped underneath and hugging the lower body close. He recognized the darker skinned one... a horde solider that was with Kyle and Rogelio. She seemed to be putting her mouth on the area where the female's reproductive area resided. The guard was either enjoying it very much or it was causing her to ludcrisly extensive pain.

He felt like he was violating some breach of code. They were safe and what they were doing was none of his business... yet... he was curious. What they were doing was unnecessary for procreation... however... they both seemed to enjoy their connection. Neither had the male sex organ for the proper institution of copulation... they were just bringing one another to an empty culmination. He backed away, their moans becoming rather sporadic much like his thoughts. They brought pleasure to one another... Imp's chirps brought him out of his flooding emotional daydream and his need for speed had been renewed.

Hordak panted as he stood just on the side of the door leading to the clone chamber. He paused there as the surge of emotion began to build tighter and higher in his internal functions. Nervous... he knew that feeling... but this other feeling that was intertwined with it was something completely new. He took in a deep breath and sighed it out through his mouth before standing tall and walking into the chamber.

He was breathing heavily, he knew, but he looked around quietly. The panel sparked ever so often as the flow of the bright green imbionic fluid of the clone sacks just beyond the console bubbled. Everything looked as it was before he left... except he did not see Entrapta. His ears drooped in disappointment just before Imp screeched out and flung off his shoulder. He watched the creature hurry off and fly around some machines.

Hordak followed and his eyes widened as the clone Entrapta called 'Wrong Hordak' and her round robot, Emily, seemed to hovering where Imp just swooped. Hordak moved over to see a ball of hair cocooned in a space between the side of a machine and the wall. Entrapta's hair! His chest tightened as his mind screamed at him. This... This was his fault... he moved to stand just before his brother and Emily who both beeped and gasped in equal excitement.

He watched Imp crawling all over the hairball until he found and opening then dug into the encasement to be absorbed. It was a short wait before he heard her soft voice hum out, "Imp! Oh Imp..." Her hair shield loosened and the image of the creature being cradled into a hug with the happiest clicks and chirps the creature could muster. His eyes fall to the woman and he falls to his knees at how devasted she looked. Her eyes were puffy and still produced liquid as she giggled at the reunion... he could tell she'd been crying beforehand.

When she finally looked, she froze yet her hands seised. She tried to push herself back further as she flung her facemask down. Her voice was cracking and so very vulnerable, "Y-You came back? I thought you left... me."

Her weak voice made his heart try to fall out of its cavity. He crawled on his knees to get closer and he swallowed the thick muck from his throat, "I-I needed to... I needed more information on something. Something I could not ask of you. Forgive me for leaving so abruptly... I had no intention of hurting you."

The lights of her mask lit as she tilted her head and he knew she was listening. He kept his soft voice as he continued, "I had to seek out the 'Partner' aspect of our working relationship. Being a 'Lab Partner' entails many of the same aspects, yet... the dynamic didn't seem to be the same as how it felt. As part of the Hive, there is no give and take, no matter what Prime had told us... I learned there was only to give. Yet... with you... there was something much more." He took a step closer to her and kneeled down so he could be on the same level as her, "I had some sort of... glitch that only sustained when I'm with you. I feel something different than anything I could ever grasp. I needed to define this... this 'Partner' connection and know why the 'Lab' was even truly needed."

He sat back and crossed his legs then looked down at his claws, "I learned that what I was really trying to understand were my feelings towards you... not just as a Lab Partner, but just as a Partner in general. I have never felt anything so pure and chaotic than when I'm with... you... You became something very important to me, yet... I didn't know what it was or how to express it. I needed research."

Entrapta's voice was excited but not as loud as it could get, "RESEARCH!? How exhilarating!" He looked shocked as he saw her sitting on her knees just in front of him with her hair practically flowing around them both as her eyes sparkled, "Can I see your data!?"

His ears softly flattened as he gave a little chuckle at how quickly she changed when information was at hand. Imp glided to his shoulder from the top of Entrapta's head and Hordak sighed. He was stimulated by her closeness and so he tried to slow his heart rate. He sat up straight and folded his clawed hands into one another, "I'm afraid I collected no data. I was only there for observational analysis."

Her eyes seemed to get brighter with that and she scooted even closer; their knees bumping together as she spoke with excitement in her voice, "What did you observe? Did you participate in any of the ritual habits of mating? Did you ask about the modular pigmentation onset by physical pressure or sexual attraction due to corporeal progression? OOoOOOOo... I'm so ecstatic! I've been wanting to do experimentations of the Prime clones and their capacity of copulation."

He felt a sudden tense pressure in his chest at this woman. She was a conundrum. She had no idea the scrupulous consequences for her naivety. He watched her happily talk with her hands but couldn't hear a single word due to a flood of fluid into his brain and pouring into his being like acid that seemed to deafen him. He couldn't catch his breath and his heart felt like it was struggling to swim. He was panicking but... it wasn't of a scared origin.

Entrapta's gloved hands went to his and he heard her sweet voice, "Hordak? Are... Are you alright?"

He saw the worry in her eyes as she had leaned in closer, her hair lifting her up a slight bit. She was... she was too close... but not close enough... he growled at himself and bowed his head at the still utter confusion that was this woman, "I... I don't know. I..." he lifted his head and looked into her eyes and spoke softly, "I... I believe I am defective."

She gasped and shook her head with a look of hurt on her face, "That is highly improbable. I did the diagnostics myself. You are completely error free. I even upgraded your bio-functional exoskeleton to properly distribute your weight capacity so you'd never lose your balance. I mean, you do have small imperfections, but you know what I think about that."

He smiled and huffed a laugh as he leaned forward and flowed his claws through the small tuft of hair on the side of her temple making her freeze all motions and conversations. He filled the silence with his words, "Entrapta... I have become infatuated with you. You plague my thoughts and senses to the point that I can barely function. The word "Partner" had become some obscured fragment and I needed to know if there was more to this word... to what you were to me. Entrapta... I have come to the conclusion that... if I'm not defected... than it is for certain that I am in... love... with you."

His clawed hand dipped down to cup her cheek as delicately as he could. She looked to be in completely shock for only a brief beat before she smiled so brightly it was almost too intense to look directly at. She lifted her hands and gripped his forearm as she leaned into his touch with her eyes leaking tears as they went shut. When she opened them, his heart felt like it was in flight.

"Oh Hordak... that is so fascinating! Tell me more about the functionality of your emotional capacity. What are you feeling right now? Can you feel the heat off my skin? Do you even have the capability of arousal? HAHHHHH... I NEED MY DATA!" Entrapta took his confession completely in a direction he was not expecting. Her hair rose her above his sitting form and it crawled over him in terrifying speed. He looked at his hand that was still tingling with the feel of her within it and sighed.

Suddenly, her hair tangled around his waist and he was yanked to stand right beside her on some module. He looked down at it and she swiftly put on some probe sensors on his head and an attachment plugged into the back of his neck. Before he had time to question any of it, she was smiling happily right in front of her, her hair keeping her at his height, "I made this for Wrong Hordak. It allows me to do a full analysis of the fluctuations of cerebral activity. With its data compiling capabilities... I'll be able to do a proper hypothesis on clone tempestuousness. Alright. Wow... it's already picking up high frequencies already."

He was smiling at her... watching her love for knowledge and her intrepid nature made his love for her grow deeper. He noticed a change in her facial expression but couldn't read it. It didn't change from her overactive smile... it only softened a bit. When he noticed a change in the color of her cheeks, he watched her eyes dart down before she barely whispered, "I... I don't know the full justification of the word or emotion of 'Love'... but..." She slowly looked up at him with a smile that made the machine go into a series of beeps and thumps that it made her move forward and remove the head gear, "... I think I feel that for you more than anyone I've ever known.

She was so close it was physically hurting him, pleasurably. He smiled and reached up to cup her face again. He had no control over his thumb as it raked his claw over the velvet silk of her lips. He felt her shudder under his touch and their smiles faded. The plug-in, still in his neck, was displaying red forms of data and the increase of his heart rate, but neither were paying any attention to it.

He had no idea what to do... his mind was in a torrent full of her... and when she leaned in and put her orifice upon his... that storm went electrical. She was cold steel yet hot molten... her pedal soft flesh was full of warm energy that it boiled his insides. It was the briefest moment yet the time around him seemed to have stopped. As her hair swung her away slow and steady, he swore he could see the sparks erupting all around her, again.

She broke their gaze and looked at the screen. Entrapta's crazy knowledgeably-hungry self was back with a booming voice, "Oh MY GOD... Look at all this DATA!..."

As she gushed, he unplugged himself and watched her hair vine out all over the console as she continued to babble. Imp flew to his shoulder and rubbed his head against his with a chirp and they both watched the woman they loved.

Then something occurred to him and he added nonchalantly, "Oh... I may have found a viable undertaking into pleasuring one without the proper male sex organ. I found it rather odd, but it looked to be exemplary to those unable to procreate."

Entrapta stopped and turned around with sparkles in her eyes, "Validation is required!"

He watched the woman bolt off while both he and Imp stood there, blinking rapidly... just before the lilac hair lassoed around his waist and pulled him off screen, like a cartoon.
