Well folks, this is a real game changer for me. I'm going to be writing my very first ever, Mickey Mouse and Friends fan fiction! Now, this is my first one, so it's not going to be perfect, but that's okay. I'm here to practice and improve while I train to get into the pros.
Anyways, this here is my interpretation of the infamous, "Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas", which I would go so far as to say that frankly, the movie stinks. It doesn't really look like something that would be worthy of the likes of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. That's why I'm making this story to show how this movie could have been and all the potential it had.
So without further ado, let's get on with the show!
Our story opens up somewhere in Toontown on a snowy winter's day, where we see the plucky and cheerful Mickey Mouse walking down the street with his two favorite pals, Donald Duck and Goofy, ready for the holiday season.
"Hot dog! It's our favorite time of year, again, guys!" Mickey exclaimed.
"Kwanzaa?" asked Goofy.
"No silly, Christmastime!" Mickey chuckled. "Just look all around. Snow falling down from the sky, kids playing in the snow, decorations all over the city, the smell of freshly baked cookies, and singing Christmas carols. It's my favorite time of the year!"
"Yeah, one of the few times where I can't lose my temper." Donald nodded.
"It's my favorite great time to be making snowy angels and snowy men." Goofy chuckled. "H'yuck!"
"And best of all, my big holiday party!" Mickey proudly said. "I'm going to make it even better than last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before that..."
"Okay! We get it!" Donald shouted.
"Right, of course." Mickey said bashfully. "So, you guys will be there, right?" asked Mickey.
"Of course, Mickey!" Donald nodded.
"Yeah Mick, we're your friends." Goofy added. "We'd never let you down!"
"Oh boy!" Mickey pumped his fist in the air. "This is gonna be so much fun! So, what are you guys planning on doing for the holidays?"
"Daisy and I are going to Uncle Scrooge's holiday banquet." said Donald.
"And Maxie and I are going to open presents and sing carols." Goofy added. "A nice, quiet Christmas with me and my boy, Maxie. Oh, that reminds me! I've gotta get to my new job!"
"New job? What new job?" asked Mickey.
"I'm going to be plowing the roads when they get covered in snow." Goofy explained. "I'm trying to make a little extra dough to buy Maxie a great Christmas present. I was thinking maybe a new bike or a sled. He's been praying for that all holiday season."
"The boys have been begging for those, too." Donald said. "
Just then, the bus to Spoonerville came to the bus stop.
"Gawrsh! The bus is here! Better get going!" Goofy exclaimed and ran onto the bus. "Merry Christmas, fellers!"
"Bye Goofy!" Mickey and Donald waved goodbye.
"Well, I'd better get home, myself." Mickey nodded as Goofy's bus drove away. "Pluto is waiting for me and I can't let all those decorations go to waste. I spent half of my bank account on the flashiest, fanciest lights, decorations, and refreshments. It will be the envy of my neighbors and it might even be the party of the century."
"Always with the showing off, aren't you?" Donald deadpanned.
"Don't worry, Don." Mickey assured him. "I'll tell you what, you can host the New Years party next week."
"And it will be better than any party you could ever do, Mickey." Donald poked Mickey in the nose.
"Sure Donald, whatever you say." Mickey as he hopped on the bus to Mouseton. "See ya real soon."
"That Mickey Mouse is always being a big showboat." Donald grumbled. "Everybody loves him just because of his round ears, cheerfulness, and stupid social gatherings. My uncle is a trillionaire and you don't see me bragging..."
Just then, Donald's bus back home drove right past him.
"HEY! WAIT FOR ME!" the duck shouted as he ran after the bus.
