Hello guys! This is the second fanfiction I have ever writen so I hope you enjoy!
P.S: This part will be made in 3 POV but all the rest will be changed in 1 POV to our Gamer.
The [RWBY] Gamer.
Chapter 1: Where it all begane
The boy we are looking at right now was none other James Anderson he was a 15 years old Italian boy, almost two meters in hight he was one of the tallest boys in his class, his hair where raven black, his eyes a soft green, he was quite happy about his eyes color because when he was yunger they would draw some attention to himself and he would bask in it.He was doing great, he went to school where the result of both the math and english test came in, he aced both of them and he was proud of it.
"Ah and they say that wasting my childhood playing video games and not making a single friend wouldn't pay off! Who's talking now eh?" He was currently having a monologue with himself on his way home from school, which made some pepole look at him like he was mad, but he was used to it so he didn't care.
It was such a nice day, boring because for him life in general was boring but still it was a nice sunny day.
It didn't take long for him to arrive at his apartment.
He lived in it with his grandparents because his parents where too busy at work to look after him, so they dumped him in here, mind you that they still loved him but simply they didn't have enogh time, he knew this and quite frankly didn't care, his grandparents where awesome not to mention that, unlike many other older people they actually knew how to use any electronic device and they didn't have problems with it, BUT the most cool fact about them was that both of them are...OTAKUS! Yes you heard it.
They were into anime and manga, they started watching/reading them when James introduced them to these works of art that are used for entertainment and they fell in love with it almost immediately!
Now it's true that they weren't THAT old but still it's rare for people older than 60 to actually enjoy it.
Now back to James.
He was taking the staircase to the third floor of the building, he could take the elevator but he preferred using the staircase because it's always better to move as much as possible to stay healthy, while it's true that he spent most of his childhood playing video games it's also true that he always went to the gym to keep himself fit, with all the times he spent exercising his body was now in a very good condition, he had a lot of muscles but he wasn't bulky at all, no he had a lean but toned body and while sad to say he was still a bit far from getting abs but he was close.
But then a tragedy happend, he didn't notice that the staircase where wet from the water used from the cleaning guy and when he was at the last step he sliped backwards.
In his head he was screaming a loud "FUCKKK" but he didn't have time voice it.
It all happened to quickly for him to react and when he hit the floor he heard a *snap* and everything went dark.
Starting sistem.........Identity of the user confirmed.........Revitalizing User mind.........Count down for User awakening......3......2......1...
"Gah!" with a gasp James 'woke' up.
He started looking around only to notice that he was in what appears to be a place where there is not even a glimmer of light.
He looked around frantically to try and understand where he was.
Then it hit him.
He was dead, he was sure of it, or if not dead, in a coma, he remembers his fall from the stairs and the loud *snap* that was probably his neck breaking.
He couldn't remember anything else after that.
He wanted to cry really really hard right now but found himself unable to.
He had calmed down just a bit he realized that he didn't even have a body in this place, so of course he panicked again.
After quite a long time he finally stoped.
'Is this it? Is this the so called afterlife?After all it seemes that there is no Heaven or Hell... sucks for the Christians that die just to find out that it was a lie...well I never belived in god but still...I would like to do at least something else that just float in this void for the rest of time, or for the rest of my sanity'.
He didn't know how long he stayed in this void, was it second? Was it years? Was it a millennia? He did not know. He spent his time thinking of something else to keep his mind into sanity and don't silp into madness. He sang his favurite song in his head, he thought of storys from all the anime and manga he saw. It was a desperate attempt to not give in and die for real but this desperate attempt labored fruits.with a *ding* something came to existence before him it was a blue semi transparent pop up box.
[Welcome User to "The Game" you are the first one to receive the honour of becoming the first "Gamer"].
'The fuck?' It took him a few second for him to get his brain rebooting form the shock and making sure he didn't become mad.
'Is this what I think it is? How many times did I think about death and hoped that something like this happen?'

With a *click* he taped 'Yes'.

After closing the skill list he heard a *ding* and another blue box appeard.

With a swipe the box disappeared.

Nodding he closed his status.
"So what now?"

"A new name you say? Mmmmm let's go with "Sebastian Archibal""
In his opinion this name was cool so he might has well use it.
All of the sudden something MASSIVE comes in existance infront of him.
Looking at the structure he can see that it was indeed a "Wheel of Fortune" but the size of this wheel was absurd, if he had to take a guess the diameter of this thing would be at least 10 kilometers.
"And how am I suppose to spin this thing?! It's huge!"
[Answer: Pull the lever infront of you]
Looking ahead of him just a few meters was a lever sticking out from god knows where.
He got close to it, then wraped his hands around it and with a mighty pull he brought it down.
As soon as he did that the massive wheel started spinning around, first slowly then faster than he could ever imagine.
When it came to a stop a new blue box appeard.
[Congratulations! Your next life will be in the word of RWBY! Enjoy your new and improved life!]
He didn't even have time to finish reading that everything went white.
Sebastian jolted awake with a not so mainly scream.
After checking that everything was in his right place he looked around to see where he was.
For what he could see he was in an unknown forest clearing and knowing witch kind of word this is it would not take long for the creatures of Grimm to find him.
[Quest: At arms!].
[Chose a starter weapon from the ones that are offerd and fend off the creatures of Grimm:
Part 1: Kill 3 Beowolf.
Part 2: Level up your mastery of your weapon of choice to level 10.
Reward: 1000 exp].
[Quest: Time to grind!].
[Create an Insta Dungeon and level up:
Part 1: Level up to LVL 10.
Reward: 2000 exp].
[Please select your weapon of choice].[Sword].[Spear].[Dagger].[Bow].[War hammer].[War scyte].[Gauntlets][Pistol].[Sniper rifle].[Automatic rifle].
Most people would chose one of the guns but he knew that he couldn't afford bullets so if he ran out of ammo then he would be fucked.
As much as it pains him he can't copy Ruby and use a scyte because just to wield it he'll need a lot of skill with it and he dosen't have much time left before he has to start fighting.
He refuses to use a war hammer because for his opinion it's to slow.
The dagger and the gauntlets are also out because he dosen't like the idea of getting to close at level 1 to a Beowulf.
He very tempted to take the bow so he can play around as Legolas but he knows that at first he won't hit anything and he dosen't want to take the change against a wolf the size of a very very large man.
So that leaves the sword and the spear...
Well they say that the spear is an easy wepon to use after all you just need to keep the pointy end towards the bad guy.
"I choose the spear".
The box dematerialized and another message pops up.
[Check your inventory].
"Inventory"
Looking at it his inventory he noticed that it was very similar to that of "The Gamer" but it was of a blue color so it's more similar to that of "Solo leveling".
There is only one box that has an item in it.
Reaching inside his inventory while focusing on getting the spear he feels his hand tuching something.
Pulling out the spear reveals it self.
Onestly he was a bit disapointed, it was a very plain spear, its shaft made out of wood and the tip made with iron.
"Observe"
[Common spear:A common spear made with avrage quality wood and metal.Attack 10].
sigh* "Well I can still work with this, well I would preffer to level up before facing at least 3 Beowolfs so... [I.D create]"
The word around him start to distort so he closes his eyes.
After a few second he decide to open them again to see if it worked.
He was still in the same clearing but now he couldn't hear anything, not a single sound could be heard, not the singing birds, not the sound of the leaves moving, nothing...until.
groan*
He spins around to face the diraction of the sound and what he sees?
A zombie slowly making his way towards him, limping from one leg and one arm outstreached whille the other is limp on the side.
"Observe"
[Zombie LVL. 1]
[Health: 400]
[Attack: 20]
"It has more HP than me but he's very slow...so how much damage can I deal?"
[Answer: The damge the User deals is STR x 2]
"So I deal 50 base damage plus 10 damage from the spear so seven hits and he should go down"
Staring at the unded he preperse to charge, thigtening his grip on his weapon he charges foward.
The zombie was about five meters from him so it didn't take long for him to reach it.
With a trust he aims for the chest of the undead.
[60 Dmg].
He dogges to the side to avoide getting hit by the swiping arm of the zombie.
Another trust this time towards where the heart should be.
[Crit! 120 Dmg].
'So landing a critical hit doubles the damage huh?'
The undead after that blow was stagering backwords and Sebastian took the chance to land another hit this time at the shoulder.
[60 Dmg].
The mob regains his footing and takes another swipe at him.
He dosen't even have to try that hard at dogging from how slow the attack is.
Then he gets an idea, he waits for the monster next swing, the doges and now that the zombie can't attack him he kicks both of his leg.
The mob falls to the ground and Sebastian moves for the kill.
He starts trusting the spear again and again to the head of the downed creature.
[Crit! 120 Dmg].
[Crit! 120 Dmg].

"Nice time to start grinding again"
It took him two hours to find other zombies to kill and by the end of it he was LVL 3 he didn't put in use his Sp because he wanted to wait till level three.

Pleased with the results he creates another I.D then climbs on to a tree, the reason? To sleep of course, he chosed to sleep in an I.D because it's safer because zombies can't climb trees while he's pretty sure Beowolfs can.
Slowly but surely he drifts off to sleep a littel smile on his face his form under the pale light of the broken moon.
