Chapter 1: The Tournament.

Goten rushed in the front door with a flyer in his hand.

"Hey, Mom! Look at this!" Goten said as he handed Chi-Chi the flyer.

Chi-Chi looked at it, "Come and join the Mother's Day Martial Arts Tournament. Grand Prize: 10 Million Zeni." she read.

"Can we enter, Mom, please?!" Goten asked.

Chi-Chi looked thoughtful, "Well, I don't see why not. You've been doing well in your studies and you have said you wondered what it would be like if we fought together." she said with a smile.

"Yay! You'll be there to watch us, won't you, Dad?" Goten asked Goku, who was pigging out on dinner.

"Of course! I'll even call Gohan and Videl to come, too!" Goku said.
