The fallen angel's mind hasn't stop racing since she had a feeling that something sinister had happened. When she thought that things couldn't get any worst, she was wrong. The moment she got off the phone with her brother her blood was boiling with rage and frustration. But she wasn't sure if the anger was towards her mother or towards her naivety to think that life on earth would be simple and easy.

Azza rushed down the hallway of the hospital, she had to quickly stop when she nearly ran into a nurse pushing a elderly man in a wheel chair. She could see her brother standing outside of the hospital room. Anger rose up in her chest when she saw the woman that she called mom sitting in the rows of chairs nearby. Azza picked up her pace. Ignoring her family, she marched through the door only to see an empty bed.

"Where is he?" the woman turned towards her brother. Her voice trembled, she took slow steps back out of the room.

"He is getting a CT scan." Lucifer informed his little sister.

"You." Azza's eye flashed gold with furry as she looked past her brother toward her mother. "How could you?" Her voice boomed in the quite hospital. "I going to tear…" She began to charge toward the Goddess of Creation, but Lucifer intervene by holding her in an embrace.

"Not here." He whispered in her ear. "This is not the time or place."

"But she…" The woman tried to push past her brother, but he wouldn't let her go.

"Shh, I know. I know" His hand cupped her head, the woman buried her head in the devils chest. "Mum, you should leave." He called over his shoulder.

"But, I…" The older woman started, with a innocent tone in her voice.

"Now!" Lucifer bellowed. The woman obeyed and walked past her children. She stop for a moment to glanced over only to be met with a menacing glare from her daughter. The Goddess continued to walk towards the exit.

"Thank you!" Azza muttered, Her whole body shook. They stood like this for a few minutes until Azza breath matched with Lucifer's steady pace. Once the woman calmed down, she pulled away from her brother and started walking away.

"Where are you going?" He asked. The devil began to follow her.

"The chapel." She informed him.

"What? You going to talk to dad?" the devil smirked at his own question. He slowed down when he felt his phone buzz in his pocket.

"Yes." the angel said with a straight face, this was no joke to her.

"Listen, Azza…" He was reading a text on his phone. "I need to get going. We have a lead on the detectives case. Will you be alright?"

"Go." She turned to face her brother. "I'll be fine."

He could see in her eyes that she was not okay, but he needed to help the Chloe. "I'll be back as soon as I can." He promised, his hand rested on his sister shoulder before he walked past her.

"Hey Dad. It's been while." Azza found herself sitting a pew at the chapel in the hospital. "I don't even know if your listening or if you even care. So much has happen during little time that I've been on earth and I'm done with all of it. I don't know if it is part of your plan or what but I just need a sign of what you want me to do, because I don't know what to do anymore. If You want me to go back to hell, I'll go. I'll do whatever you want me to do, because I can't live like this anymore. I don't want anyone else to hurt because of me anymore." The fallen angel paused. A single tear rolled down her face as she closed her eyes. "You once told me that you had great plans for me, before I disobeyed you. I doubt that those plans will ever happen. I know that we can't go back to the way things use to be and I don't deserve it, but with all my heart I'm asking for Your forgiveness for everything I have done. And if you are listening, please protect Sam, he definitely doesn't deserve any of this." The woman felt like a weight had been lifted off her chest, her eyes opened and she stared at the cross hanging in the middle of the room. The room was silence, but not the silence she was used to, there was a sense of peace.

Azza slowly opened her eyes after feeling someone shake her awake. She looked up at her brother who stood over her. Slowly she sat up looking around to find that she had fallen asleep in the chapel.

"Good Morning, or should I say good evening?" Lucifer smiled and sat down beside her.

"What time is it?" The woman asked, without even thinking about it she rest her head on his shoulder. Instinctively, he wrapped his arm around her.

"Nearly midnight." He stated, he looked up at the cross with slight grimace on his face. Being in a house of his father was never his ideal place to be, but here he was.

"How is the detective? Did you finally solve the case?" The woman asked quietly. She wondered, since she saw the detective early in the morning and everything seemed to be fine. Though she slightly remember early in the meeting with Sarah that Chloe received a phone call and was gone soon after.

"She's fine as can be and yes, we did. We uncovered her father's actual killer." He sighed, thinking about the detective and the hug that she gave him at her home. He wanted so badly to know what it meant. He planned on talking about it with the doctor but he wasn't even sure that Linda would even see him anymore. He would bring it up to his sister but know didn't seem like the right time. He needed to be focused on her. "Have you been here all this time?"

"Yeah, for the most part. It seemed like a good place to wait. And perhaps He will hear me better here. Isn't that what the christians believe?" The angel looked up at her brother with a cheeky smile.

"You talked to Him?" Lucifer was slightly amused. Though he remember the last time he talked to Dad is when he was in crisis, so it made perfect sense that Azza would do the same. Though last time he talked to Dad it came with a price.

"Yeah, I did." She let out a little chuckle."My last attempt to figure out what I am supposed to do."

"You know, you sound like Amenadiel." The brother joked.

"Shut your unholy mouth. I am not like him at all." She gave her brother a side punch to the leg.

"Did our Father reply?" Lucifer inquired, knowing very well that their father was not one with the words. More of read the signs kind of a guy.

"I believed he did." Azza sighed. "Sam is awake and he going to be just fine." Azza gave her brother a weak smile.

"Well, that's wonderful news, Azi. I'm surprised you are not at his bedside." Lucifer was confused.

"I couldn't sit there knowing that I am yet again responsible for him being in the hospital for the second time in less then two weeks. Can you say girlfriend of the millennium?" She let out a little sarcastic chuckle. "Besides, it turns out that his mom is still here and she's with him, not exactly how I wanted to meet her for the first time. I don't think she likes me."

"That's absurd, whats not to like."

"I don't know, My Godly Father, my destructive Goddess mother, or my devilish brother. Or perhaps the life threatening dangers I'm constantly put him in. Pick one."

"That's nonsense. You keep me out of this." He joked in attempts to make his sister laugh. "I doubt that she knows about your immortal family tree. I assume it cause she doesn't know you. Just give her time."

"I don't think I'll have to worry about getting to know her. Thanks to mom's latest stunt." The word 'mom" seethed out of her mouth.

"Not everyone gets alone with their in laws. In fact, it is a common form of torture in hall." The devil grinned which quickly faded when he saw that his sister didn't react in the way he hoped.

"Luci, I won't have to worry about it because Sam lost his short term memory." Azza informed her brother, holding together her emotions. "He doesn't remember me."

"Azi, I'm s…" Lucifer began.

"It's fine. It probably for the best. He can go back to living his life and I can…anyway. See Dad answered back." She looked away from her brother. The sympathetic look on his face was too much for her to handle at this moment.

"Our parents really do know how to ruin all the fun, don't they?" Lucifer gave his sister a supportive squeeze. Azza nodded her head in agreement. They sat in silence for a few moments. "So, you want to mom?" The devil smirked, in attempts to lighten the mood.

"What are you talking about?" Azza pulled away from her brother to look him in the eye. "How did you…"

"Mom, listened to Sam's voice mail." Lucifer

"Seriously, that woman is unbelievable. Of course she would listen to my private messages to Sam. Finding more fuel to add to the fire of my life. You should have sent her back to hell when you had the chance." Azza ranted. She slouched in the pew and stared at the ceiling.

"Is it true?" Lucifer asked quietly, he wanted to avoid another outburst but curiosity got the best of him.

"This morning it was. Sarah wanted me to adopt her and I was considering it." Azza smiled. Lucifer noticed something in his sisters eyes that he had never seen before. A hint of happiness. "But after what happen in just one day, I don't think it would be wise." She continued, her joy diminished.

"Why not?" He gave her a quizzical stare.

"First: look at what happen Sam." Azza scoffed. "I can't do that anyone else, let alone a child. Second: I know nothing about caring for another human. Third: I don't think anyone would give me a child. I don't understand how it all works, legally, anyway. So, it's for that best that I just...stay away from humans and..." Her mind wondered off for a moment. "I don't even like my own mother, I don't want her to resent me in the same way." Lucifer watched his sister with amusement. He could see her mind spinning with ideas. "Did I picture a house in the country with one of those tire swings in the tree and a large dog running around? Maybe, but it ridiculous." The joy returned to her face as she continued. "Did I picture Sam there taking the most amazing family photos that you see in the magazines. Or..." She caught herself in her fantasy as she looked up at her brother. "I wouldn't even know where to start. How could I provide for her? I don't have a job. I don't think it can happen. I mean, I'm a fallen angel after all. I..."

"Do you know who you are talking to?" Lucifer smiled. "I can make it happen, if you choose to proceed. All you have to do is ask."

"Really?" She looked up at her brother, the corner of her mouth curled up. "In return for favour?"

"Well, first favour is on me, but any after that you will have to pay up." Lucifer joked pulling his sister in a side hug. "I would do anything in my power for you, I hope you know that."
