Alyssa: Hey gals and guys, I got another chapter!

Serena: Yay!

Alyssa: I know right! I want to just say that I'll be doing it like this: only shots that have Emma and/or Pam will be included. This is about them so me including a part with Dwight and Angela talking about Garbage wouldn't make sense.

Pam: More screentime?

Alyssa: Essentially? Yes, I will add some talking heads and/or conversations with Jam or well Pemma.

Serena: Sounds perfect!

Alyssa: Good, and one last thing. That first chapter took around a week or two, and I want to make these chapters a lot shorter than that, maybe ⅓ of it?

Pam: Okay Alyssa, let's just read! Me and my office aren't owned by her.

Serena: And she doesn't own NBC!

Alyssa: So sit back, relax, and enjoy with glee!

Episode 3:4 DunderMifflin

Pam was feeling great during her and her girlfriends lunch break. She decided she would treat her with some soda as a gift.

She put the quarters in and hit the white and red cherry flavored can, waited for the first bottle to come out, grabbed it, then proceeded with the next one.

As she was finishing up, she saw her girlfriend walk in.

"Hey!"

"Hey,"

They greeted each other as they met in the middle near the vending machines.

"I got you one," Pam told her.

"Oh wow thank you!" Emma cheered.

"Yeah," Pam said back.

"I'm just gonna grab some chips, do you want some?" Jim asked her back as she was beginning to walk away.

"No thanks, uh, we're still having lunch today, right?" She asked, a little uneasy. Emma then began to grin.

"Uh, I guess…." She told her with a grin. They both smirked as they went separate ways before Pam surprised her with a kiss on the cheek. Pam gave a small smile as Emma pointed to her.

"How dare you," Emma said as Pam fled the scene.

The camera then turned over to Toby who watched from his deskspace in the annex, with a shared window, with a great view of what just happened, and with jealous eyes that put his work on hold.

The camera shows to Pam who's reading a memo which reads:

Memo

To: All Employees

From: Toby Flenderson

CC: Dunder Mifflin, Inc.

Re: Public Displays of Affection

Public Displays of Affection:

I just want to remind everyone about the company rules including PDA, or Public Displays of Affection. Any type of PDA while on company line and on company grounds are a distraction to other workers and are a major cause of lowered productivity. Any kissing, hugging, and hand holding may subject employees to face disciplinary action. If you have any need to review company PDA policies, please refer to the Dunder Mifflin, Inc human resources manual.

(That took way to long)

Pam instantly looks to Jim with a look that just tells him who cares.

Jim instantly nods and shoots her back with a face and shrug.

Everyone else is looking it over, thinking it;s a joke of some kind, minus Angela and Dwight, when Michael appears to give Toby a hard time.

"Hey Toby. What's this?" Michael says while holding up the memo Toby had just passed out to the staff.

"Ohh," was all he said, glancing occasionally at the paper.

"I just want to remind everyone about the company rules involving PDA or public displays of affection." Micheal recited with disbelief as Toby listened.

"Yes, uh some people in the office have complained…" Toby began as he was cut off from Michael.

"Oh really?"

"…about some other people engaging in PDA and, you know," He said while Michael leaned in closer to Toby, "I just wanted to remind you it's not appropriate to do that."

"Is this about me and Jan?" Michael asked with a hint of worry, "In my office? Because I will have you know that that was consensual. What we did has nothing to do with you or anyone here. I don't think. I don't think anyone heard anything. We were very discreet and, and most people had left by that point. So I don't think it's any of your business. What I think you should do is roll up the memo, real tight…"

"Ok, look the memo is not about you…" Toby concluded to Michael, who looked incredibly relieved

.

"For the record, I have never been involved with anyone at work, in any capacity." Angela piped in for everyone to hear, including Dwight.

"Alright everyone, look, it, alright my complaint was about Jim and Pam. So…" Michael then twisted his body the other way with a shocked look at Pam and Emma. Emma flinched a tiny bit, but was relatively shocked.

"No way."

"What?"

"You guys are together?"

The office all asked them as Pam and Emma both looked a little unsure of what to do, Emma found her voice, unfortunately for herself.

"Ummm… yup. Yes, we are." She said as Pam's whole face was just shocked. I can't believe she said it!

"Woooah! Wow!"

"Tuna!"

"Awesome!"

"I knew it!"

'You guys! Yes! Yes!" Michael continued to cheer as Pam's face beamed and Toby's face simply went back to dejected

"Toby, was this your fun little way of congratulating us?" She asked with a huge smile on her face. He finally just said yes and did it very dejectedly.

Kevin playfully nudged Oscar whilst Angela stood indifferent.

"Oh kay, mind is exploding. Get over here. [gestures to Pam to get up] Come on. Come here. Okay, okay, get up Jade Goody. [Emma moves in her chair with a grin] OK, here we go. [holding both Pam and Emma's hand] Everyone, this is a day that will live in infamy. Because today, is the day that Jim and Pam become one."

"A-Actually, we've been dating for a couple months." Emma stuttered from the name, still not used to it.

"I love you guys, so much," He said as he hugged Emma, who just sat there with a Ji-Emma look. Micha

"Ohh.." Emma mutters. Michael then stops the hug to give Pam one who wants any way to get out of it before hearing the phone.

"Phone's ringing," She says as she begins to walk back to her desk.

"No, no, no Pam let 'em ring. Let the bells of Dunder Mifflin chime out your love. Because this is [starts to well up] really good, this is really good. My heart soars with the eagles nest."

[Enter Talking Heads]

Dwight: I don't see it. I think they both could do better.

Angela: It's not a surprise to me. Pam is the office mattress.

Andy: Jim Halpert's off the market. Guess who just became the best looking single guy in the office?

[Exit Talking Heads]

"Hey. Can you make that straighter? That's what she said," Michael says as he enters the office with a sheet of paper in his hand. Pam, Phyllis, and Angela were putting up decorations as everyone looked at him.

"Did you plan it?" Phyllis asks the boss, turning around with a hand on her hip.

"No," Michael says as he tries to hide a piece of paper, but Pam grabs it.

"Can you make that straighter? That job looks hard. You should put your mouth on that. How can you even use that one naturally?

"Blowing up balloons I thought." Michael responded, looking at the camera.

"You might want to trim it a little." Pam rattled off another one of his planned jokes.

"Michael…" Kelly enters the conference room in a flirty red dress as Phyllis disappointingly said. Kelly looks at the sign briefly and then to the whole room.

"Oh, is… Ryan coming back today?"

"Yeah, he is." Pam responded to the drama queen.

"Oh." She said as she skipped along.

[Enter Talking Heads]

Michael: Pam and Jim are together. Ryan is visiting. Only thing that could make this day better is ice cream.

[Exit Talking Heads]

"Hey Toby," Pam greets with a small smile, as Emma is a little off to the side and nervous.

"Hey… [sees both Emma and Pam] you two," He ends with a less jubilant smile.

"Hey. So now that we are dating, uh, we just wanted to know if we had to sign one of those 'we're dating' things for the company," Emma asks. Her hair was all packed away in her pale blue Dunder Mifflin hat (That was the only way she could wear a hat and cover all her hair and have Michael okay with it).

"Oh well, you know, those were only for, you know 'relationships', so… if, if this is just a casual thing, there's no need, really," Toby replied, obviously making Emma a tiny bit uncomfortable. Emma, looking a little dejected, lets out a small oh. Pam just looks all the happier.

"Well, I don't wanna speak for Halpert, but, it's like pretty official," Emma smiles at the dodge, and they both look back at Toby for answers.

"Uh huh,"

"Sorry, uh do we need to sign one, or…?" She trails off, as she looks back to Pam

"Let's just wait and see what happens. [whispers] You know?" Toby responds, not wanting to lose his chance.

"What?" Emma asks, missing the last part.

"Let's just wait,"

"Oh, OK." Jim says as he turns around to walk out, her girlfriend doing the same.

"OK," Pam repeats as she and Emma walk out of the annex to the free kitchen.

"Great,"

They both reach the kitchen and proceed to start chat, before being interrupted by a camera looking at them like they wanted to chat.

[Enter Talking Heads: Break Room: Emma and Pam]

Emma: This hat? I've had it for like...I think a few weeks or so.

Pam: Yeah I think you started showing up with it on like three weeks ago. I miss the hair.

[Emma laughs]

Emma: It'll come back soon, Pammy!

[Pam smacks her lightly]

Emma: Oww, you hit hard.

Pam: Glad I could punish you Ems-

[They both go wide-eye]

[Exit Talking Heads]

"Swore I wouldn't tell anyone this, but in the interest of revealing secrets. Oh my God, this will make your brain explode. Umm, Dwight and Angela dating. Have been for six months," Emma chatted with her pickles in the conference room, both munching on some salad, and nearly done with it too!

"No.." Pam spoke with awe in her voice.

"Swear to God. [Pam shakes her head]. Aww this is great. I was actually gonna wait and tell you on your birthday, but this is much more fun," Emma happily told her as Pam just held a ginormous smile.

"No, they have been dating for like two years. Since before your barbeque," Pam revealed to a now wide-eye Emma Halpert.

"Wait. What?" Pam nods her head "You knew? And you didn't say anything?" She asks with confusion on her face, masked with a smirk.

"You didn't say anything to me?" She yips back to her Halpert.

"Fair enough. Wow! We should have started dating like a long time ago," Emma tells her before biting right back down on her salad.

"Can you believe that…" Pam starts before being interrupted by Phyillis walking in to the break room.

"Sorry, I didn't know you guys were in here," Phyllis says with a smile.

"Oh no, we're just sitting here," Emma awkwardly states to her

"I couldn't see your hands," She explains as Jim shakes his hands, "Hey Pam, by the way, it's great that you're dating. But when a new client calls, you just have to randomly assign them to a sales person. You can't base who gets new clients on who you're sleeping with that week, OK?" Phyllis tells her with a smile, Pam just sits there. She keeps a smile but on one to be proud of.

"OK,"

"OK,"

"OK,"

[Enter Talking Heads]

Jim: And… that is why we waited so long to tell people.

[Exit Talking Heads]

The next day

Emma walks to the reception's desk and starts to play with the candies, gaining Pam's attention with a hey.

"Hey," she said with a dorky smile as Emma begins to leave before coming back to her desk with a serious face as Pam matches.

"Alright I just have to ask now that we're public, um, is the magic gone?" Emma asks as Pam begins to smile.

"It's funny you bring that up because yes it is," Her face slowly became straight and her attention was brought to the computer.

"I knew it. Oh man, just like that huh?" She asks as her smile becomes a shriek and then a laugh and then a frown.

"I think... I mean, I don't know what it is but…" She trailed off meeting Emma's eye level.

"Be honest," Emma piped in as Pam's frown sticked, creeping, though, a little to a smile.

"I now find you repulsive," She says, trying not to break down into a smile.

"That's honest. [sighs] Alright, fair enough. It was really fun while it lasted though, wasn't it?" Emma asks the receptionist, slowly backing away, before returning to hear her answer.

"Eh…"

"For me, it was," She clarified before grinning.

"OK."

"Alright,"

Then she went back to his desk, Pam just sat there with a huge smile on her face.

Emma's POV

I was walking back to my desk with likely a straight face. Kevin and Andy turned to me as I sat down, both holding L's to their foreheads. I took a second to look at them and another to look at one of the cameras with a questioning face, one eyebrow up and wide eyes.

"So Tuna, do you want some help with awesome lessons?" Andy asked with a grin as he lowered his L. I squinted my eyes before an idea popped into my big ol' brain.

"Actually, yeah. You have any tips so I can start now?" I asked him with the straightest face I could muster.

His pupils and finger pointed to my shoes, going up to my pants, then my shirt, and finally my head. I bet twenty bucks he's gonna say something about Cornell and how they taught him it or something. Suddenly, Andy started to obnoxiously beep. Sorry, let me rephrase it: He transferred his inner police card and started to yelp over and over.

"What is it?" I asked as he pointed with beeps at… my hat. Of course, the one thing I can't actually do anything about right now. Fantastic.

"You got to lose the hat," Andy said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. My face suddenly fell.

"The hat, that's where I'm getting the 'swag' I have. Remove it? Why would I do that?" I scoffed. Andy coughed, a little taken aback.

"Remove it, no, I was kidding! Some of the best graduates from Cornell wore hats. Like, um, Bill Nye! Bill Nye wears hats, Jimbo," Andy nervously said, trying to come back. I flinched a tiny bit but held a finger up, like I had a revolutionary thought, and my eyes began to widen.

"What if it's… my personality? How do I make that more awesome?" I asked, looking at the camera at the end.

"Tuna, Tuna, Tuna. Listen, your personality is awesome, it's the things you say I presume,"

"Like what?" I asked, actually confused. Like how could I possibly improve the things I say? Is it what I say? Is it what I'm not saying? Is it that I'm saying fake things or truthful things?

"Like, you don't really tell stories or you don't really tell a bunch of jokes," Andy said, talk about a low blow, like. Wow.

"I don't get what you mean? I prank people in the office?"

"Yeah, but you don't tell jokes, only pranks. You gotta start tellin' some jokes, like Knock knock!"

"Who's There?" I responded with a sigh. Andy didn't look any happier then he did a few seconds ago.

"Ben," Andy said. He got up at that moment and walked to my desk, like he owned the place and stopped when he put his hands on my desk and leaned in.

"Ben Who?"

"Ben down and lick my balls!" Andy said as he laughed. He laughed. That was a terrible joke and I'm gonna freakin kill him. Sigh. Time to put on a comical face

"Andy… yeah, I'll start using that, okay?" I told him. Wow, I'm just so frustrated with this singing buffoon. From the corner of my eye I saw the cameramen calling me into the breakroom.

[Enter Talking Heads]

"The whole Andy thing? Yeah, I'm fine? Why wouldn't I be?" I asked with a grin, looking completely at the camera.

Askes about the Emm thing.

"Yeah, Pam calls me that all the time. It's just… a cute little nickname thing she likes to call me," I told them as I could feel the heat and the nerves in my whole body.

"It's just a nickname for h-him, why are you asking?" Pam asked the camera crew as she felt butterflies fill her stomach.

Can we get you and Jim in the same room?

"Yeah, you wanna go to the conference room, like usual?" Pam asked, feeling her voice rise higher and higher. The cameraman nodded and let Pam go.

[Exit Talking Heads]

Pam's POV

I walked over to my lovely girlfriend, and tapped her computer, then returned to my receptionist desk. My desk was maybe the best in the office, it's big, it's a semicircle, and it has a lot of storage and privacy. Wish I could say the same for someone like Dwight or Phyllis, Stanley can easily see it and anyone who walks out from the kitchen can see it. Phyllis' screen is easily seen by me, and anyone who walks in and looks strange.

I got on to AOL and logged in to my account, waiting for Emms to contact me.

JIM9334: Hey Miss Beesly whats up?

Receptionitis15: You really need to get new username

I looked up and saw her shrug with her good ol' Halpert look.

Receptionitis15: C'mon, I helped pick your name. I wanna help pick your username too.

JIM9334: How about like EMMA0665?

Receptionitis15: This is your decision not mine.

*JIM9334 changed their username to EMMA0665*

I looked up to Emma with a genuine smile, dimples and all. She was looking back with a grin.

Receptionitis15: I love you so much Emms.

EMMA0665: I love you too!

Receptionitis15: OH

Receptionitis15: We have to go to the conference room ASAP. They want us to answer questions and I have a feeling I know what they'll be about.

EMMA0665: Yeah…

EMMA0665: Hey Pam?

Receptionitis15: Yeah?

EMMA0665: I'm ready.

EMMA0665: Maybe I should rephrase, I'm ready for the cameras to know.

Receptionitis15: Not the office.

EMMA0665:Yeah, if that's fine with you.

Receptionitis15: Yeah, no this is all up to you. I'm just support.

EMMA0665: Okay, we are doing this! Alright let's go.

I closed the window to show my Dunder Mifflin background. They really need to fix it, way to bore your own employees. The blues are good, but why do we need the text, Email, Business, Proficiency? Just ruins the background.

I walked over to the conference room with Emma right on my tail. We each took a seat by the window, both on either side. We then saw them close the door.

They were about to start rolling before Emma called out to them if they could close the blinds. Good call on her, the office would not want to see how long her hair has grown.

3, 2, 1: All of us have been wondering about this Em thing, since your name doesn't even have -em in it anywhere. So, where did it come from?

Emma looked at me and I looked at her. Whenever you're ready. I looked back to the camera and saw Emma through the lens and took a breath. She reached her hands to the hat she had on and took it off.

"I've been growing out my hair for the last month or so-"

"Since the fun run, about a month, I think," I finished as I gripped Emma's hand harder for support.

"Yeah and it's because I'm… transgender…" Emma said nervously and I gave her a nice genuine smile. She turned to me and her face was all red, ears were pitched red. I could feel her heart racing through that weak smile. I widened my eyes and shrugged. She nodded, clearly exhausted.

"Yeah, she is a she. We're still dating, nothing has changed. She is still the same person I love and knew for around a decade," I told them, squeezing her hand harder.

"I'm Emma, that's my new name that Beesly kindly helped me find," She chuckled a bit, "Feels good to let someone else know,"

"Oh, um, we kinda want to keep this secret for as long as possible from Michael. So please, we both can say, don't give any hints about this!" I told them pointing a finger at the sound crew behind the camera. No one will treat my little Ems badly.

"That's where that whole Ems thing came from by the way," Emma buted in. She wore a small smile, not sad, just small. Her hair was down to her chin area. I'll never tell her this, but she would so rock a ponytail. I mean, she has the hair to do it and she'll look real nice. I just don't really think that's her style.

"Is that all, or what?" I asked, unsure if they wanted any more information. From behind the cameras all the men and women nodded their heads and we left with big smiles on our faces.
