The Limit of a Single Jutsu

Most of my projects never finish cause I don't have the commitment for them… so the fact I actually finished this story, even though it's rushed as hell is a rather big surprise for me. Thank you to all my readers for staying and reading this rather sh"t story instead of all the others, so here's the last chapter.

Sorry for the late release, this time I found some broken mirrors surrounding my computer, so then I had to get someone else to fish it out of the circle of mirrors for me, but then I had to avoid all the cracks on the sidewalk, and then... ["POST THE CHAPTER OR I'M GONNA KILL YA" yells crowd of angry readers]

—"Madara", Zetsu, and Epilogue—

"So, Naruto, how are you going to rope in two extremely elusive characters whose skill sets are almost completely made up of escape techniques?" Jiraiya asked, interested to see what Naruto would whip up this time; he had rather interesting solutions for various problems all the time, and there was yet to be a problem that Naruto had not ended up solving in some shape of form using some rather interesting techniques…

Naruto just smiled and waved and Jiraiya. "Don't worry, there's nothing much, Zetsu can come first… he's linked with nature energy I think, after all, he's nothing more than a rather large Venus Flytrap eh? I think if we head over to where Nagato told us where the Gedo Mazo was and injected some chakra into it, Zetsu would probably come running if the Gedo Mazo was affected." If the Gedo Mazo was tampered with or destroyed, it would mean the end of all of Zetsu's plans, whatever they might be. Strange slightly crazy flytrap white and black men… better them than Guy and Lee, though… Naruto wondered what would happen if they merged together like the two halves of Zetsu.

Naruto held his handset in the ram seal. "Let's go, just hold on Jiraiya…" Naruto had been practicing the Shunshin many times, and his Jinchuuriki regeneration helped provide resistance to friction when moving at high speeds while his rather large chakra reserves allowed him to go much farther distances compared to others. Jiraiya grabbed on to Naruto's arm, not having practiced the Shunshin for a while now, now more focusing on seals so that his godchild couldn't brag his mastery of seals to him. In Jiraiya' opinion, Naruto was nothing more than an insufferable brat who should respect his elders more, nothing special, definitely less impressive than the ever-respectful Minato who actually called Jiraiya just sensei and not without the prefix ero-.

"So this is the Gedo Mazo, eh, Naruto?" Jiraiya asked, looking up at the huge statue with nine eyes and chained arms. "That statue looks relatively disturbing, you know… strange. Maybe I could use this in my next edition of Icha Icha some how." Naruto snorted; of course Icha Icha was what Jiraiya would think of before anything else.

Naruto nodded. "I believe it should be stimulated in some way should you use nature chakra near it; it is designed to house the bijuu, after all, and the bijuu's chakra have always been nature chakra at the core, though corrupted slightly by hatred." Naruto had no idea where all the hatred in the bijuu's chakra came from. It was much more malevolent than any he had seen before.

Jiraiya summoned Pa and Ma to enter Sage Mode, after which he released some into the Gedo Mazo, causing it to roar shortly and then sneeze.

Naruto frowned after the rather large statue sneezed. "That's strange, I didn't think statues like this could sneeze… this is rather interesting." It was rather interesting for a giant demonic statue to do something like sneezing… Naruto really wanted to know if the Gedo Mazo was able to fart and how those farts would smell… what if they were like clouds of nature chakra or something like that? That would be rather interesting.

Zetsu was dead; the white half had very powerful regeneration, but a couple Rasengans shredded the white half apart. The black half was much more strange, but they had managed to seal it into one of Naruto's more powerful seals; they would have to study the black half to see what made it so resilient. They had also taken a small tissue sample of the obliterated white half before Naruto sealed the rather large Gedo Mazo into a pocket dimension; he wasn't powerful enough to seal it back into the moon where Nagato had said it originally had been, but he could make it hard for anybody without the Rinnegan to access the rather large statue.

"Zetsu is dead, and I believe Madara will come right after… it seems that Zetsu was guiding Madara through the entire process of sealing the bijuu into the Gedo Mazo," Naruto said calmly in response to Jiraiya's… let's see… Eight billion, three hundred forty eight million, four hundred seventy one thousand, ninety nine questions?

"So, it seems you are the one who has been going around trying their best to shatter my plans for peace and a better future..." Madara stated calmly. "It is indeed strange that you two, people who loudly proclaim their want for peace, would be the two who would attempt to stop me from achieving true peace." Naruto tilted his head in response to Madara.

"So, then what is your plan for peace? Why would it require you to gather the nine : and kill their jinchuuriki in the process? Is there a reason you must kill nine?" Naruto asked in response.

"There is a genjutsu... one so powerful it can control the entire world, one you can project onto the moon with the power of all nine bijuu combined with the Gedo Mazo to create the almighty Juubi. With that and the Rinnegan, which I shall take back from Nagato after this, I will cast this genjutsu on the world and everybody shall fall into a genjutsu where they get everything they want, all their deepest desires, and nobody will ever have to fight again."

"Is that not just taking the free will of every single being on this planet without exception?" Naruto asked. "And you also mean to revive a beast that was rumored to have ravaged the Earth and have caused natural disasters? You will die eventually as all things must end, and the Juubi will roam free and destroy everything on this Earth. The Juubi holds the combined hate of all nine bijuu, and nothing can hold all that hate without being corrupted and attempt to destroy this world."

Madara snorted. "There are things that are eternal... the rules of this world are eternal, are they not? All things have and will always fall down to the ground, there is no exception to that rule."

Naruto then asked, "And what of the nine jinchuuriki? You would kill nine people, people who did not become a target of their own free will to achieve true peace? There is no fairness in that."

Madara sneered this time. "It is a small price to pay, the lives of nine in exchange for true peace? It is nothing compared to the benefits of the greater good."

It was Jiraiya who spoke this time. "Are the people who are sacrificed going to think that? If you think it is a small price, then you should pay your own soul. You would condemn those who have experienced some of the most pain compared to the rest of us to death without any reward?"

Madara shook his head. "There is someone I wish to see again, and you are not going to stop me. Let us fight," he said, getting into a stance.

Naruto turned towards Jiraiya. "Let me have this fight, as my abilities are the perfect match for his..."

"We will see about that, little brat," Madara sneered.

—Epilogue of Sorts—

Haku was carefully watching a five year old child, her child, walk around on the playground, playing a game of tag with some other children; Kiba and Hinata's kid, Sakura and Sasuke's kid, Choji and Ino's kid, and Neji and Tenten's kid all played around with several kids from other families, with Lee enthusiastically demonstrating various stretches and exercises to the young kids, causing some to stop and gawk at his eyebrows and some to actually drop down and do a hundred pushups - none of the kids actually managed to do that many pushups. Temari and Shikamaru weren't here because it was too troublesome on Shikamaru's opinion, and their kid was too lazy to come, as expected. Temari had to push Shikamaru to get kids, as he said "sounds troublesome, both getting the kid and raising the kid." Shikamaru had also managed to become the Jounin Commander. Sakura worked as a medic nin in the hospitals, Kiba was an elite Jounin along with Hinata and the rest of the Konoha 12, excluding Naruto, who had gone on to become Hokage, although he always left shadow clones to do all his work, and Sasuke, who was now Naruto's right hand of sorts. The truth behind the Uchiha Massacre had been exposed, allowing Itachi to return to the village. Nagato and Konan still ruled over Amegakure, and Nagato had finally entered the King of Hell's mouth himself.

Life was good, in a way. The villages had a tentative peace mainly because of the tales of Naruto and Jiraiya taking down the entire Akatsuki themselves. Jiraiya had retired to write his books, which he now occasionally co-authored with Naruto on. He had also got his own crystal ball after pestering Naruto for forever, with the stipulation that Jiraiya would say that he had bought it from someone and not from Naruto. Tsunade now just drank and gambled, and whenever her funds went low, she went on a night with Naruto and leeched off of his luck. Orochimaru had died after a raid on one of his Otogakure bases, but Kabuto was still allowed to run Otogakure… he was a good person after all but was wronged by Danzo, who had been arrested for a long list of crimes and been executed. Hiruzen just rested every day, bugging Jiraiya and Naruto for early release Icha Icha, which they allowed occasionally just to quiet down Sarutobi for a while. Zabuza had just… been Zabuza. Tonton had attempted to replace Tenten as a secondary character, which had nearly succeeded if it weren't for the fact Tonton realized that she would have to deal with rather insane ninja who happened to wear green spandex and scream about youth and had control over the most powerful sunset genjutsu - you get the point, the list goes on and on.

Kakashi had just stood there when Naruto and Jiraiya broke the news to him that Obito was alive and had been the leader of the Akatsuki. He just stood there and asked Naruto and Jiraiya not to mention Obito as the leader of the Akatsuki, as he would like to remember Obito as the happy twelve year old who had been on his genin squad and had taught him his love and respect for his comrades, the one who had left his Sharingan to him. Kakashi had refused the offer to transplant Obito's second Sharingan, saying he wanted no memory of the Akatsuki Obito and had no wish to defile his old comrade's body.

When Sasuke learned about the truth of the Uchiha Massacre, he looked ready to kill both Homura and Koharu along with Danzo, though not Hiruzen, as it was done mostly without Hiruzen's knowledge until after the act was done. Naruto had convinced him to settle down and had all three advisors executed. Ordering someone to kill their entire family in cold blood was something that Naruto did not approve of. Itachi still did it, and that had earned him Naruto's utmost respect.

Sakura had ended up living a happy life with Sasuke, now having gotten over her fangirling and having legitimate romantic feelings for him; in essence, it meant that she now punched Sasuke when he was being an idiot.

Ino was rather sad she couldn't end up with her Sasuke-kun, but she settle for Choji, who was devoted to her, even more than his chips at times, which for any Akimichi was really saying something.

Shikamaru had cried for a while before declaring it too troublesome to cry when he had to deal with the troublesome woman known as Temari every day.

Lee had ended up adopting a young child who now was Lee without the thick eyebrows and green spandex; essentially a regular shinobi who screamed about youth and was slightly insane. It was a large improvement though... Not even someone as cruel as Orochimaru could sentence the next generation to be eternally cursed with another green spandex youth lover or the sunset genjutsu. You could only find something like that in the deepest pits of hell. Gai was meanwhile being Gai.

Tenten now ran her father's weapons shop in his place and had some of the highest quality weapons in Konoha... she was a jounin and mainly ran the shop as a side job and had with Naruto's help automated a lot of the shop's functions using seals that could count money and calculate things.

Hinata had married into the Inuzuka, allowing her sister Hanabi to become heiress and stay Caged Bird Seal-free. Hanabi and Neji were working to change the ways of the Hyuuga and abolish the Caged Bird Seal, which in Naruto's opinion, was literally a slave brand, in exchange for one of Naruto's seal that protected against stealing the Byakugan while not having any torture functions. The new seal covered all the cases Naruto could think about; breeding, stealing directly, and many other ways.

Kiba had married Hinata and led a happy life as the Inuzuka clan head, although in Naruto's opinion he was rather whipped and was teased often for that by his mother and sister.

Shino had become the Aburame clan head and using some of Naruto's smaller pocket dimension seals had figured out a way to expand the hive that was their bodies, allowing them to carry many more bugs and be much more effective in battle.

Naruto had focused more on reviving the Uzumaki clan, and luckily his and Haku's first child awakened their buried genes and had gotten the signature Uzumaki red hair.

Gaara had managed to become Kazekage, eventually, so he was happy too… Naruto was attempting to find him a girlfriend that wasn't a fangirl or scared off by him… those requirements were hard to meet.

Haku smiled. Life was good. All was well and happy.

Naruto looked out onto the horizon. It really seems that I eventually became Hokage in the end, eh, Kurama? I have no idea why you would want to be Hokage, leading a village of pitiful humans who will die in a short time during their pitiful existence, never doing anything meaningful this world.

Well, if this world is to end someday, you wouldn't have done anything meaningful in your lifespan either. Is it even possible for you to die, Kurama? As if I would die, I am the most powerful of the bijuu, it is only natural I am immortal and all-powerful.

Isn't it funny that once my goal stopped being to be the Hokage I become Hokage soon after? It is truly strange, isn't it? If only I could tell my five year old self to notice Hinata and talk to Shino... after all, they are both great friends to me. There is not much meaning in friends; they are but temporary in this world and you will move on to the next world soon enough. They will disappear; friendship is something that is destroyed quickly, not sustained for long times.

I guess you could say that Kurama... my only regret is that there is no true peace, but at least we have gotten pretty damn close. No need to be so sentimental fleshbag, you have done much for this world already. Soon, you can move on, and if I ever happen to die I will make sure to follow you. As much as I hate to admit it, I respect you more than any other human... though it is still minimal.

And you still say I'm sentimental, Kurama? You're still just a big softie after all this time...

—END—

Phew, the stories over… Yeah writing your own story is an interesting experience… I now have increased respect for many of the authors on this website...

So, next story, if anybody really cares: Thinking about a Suna-nin Naruto from very young, probably either gonna have him run from ROOT and meet Kurama or have a couple drunks… Really don't want to have to go to the "one day he was being chased my a large mob" route… unless readers are okay with that, of course. I would try writing yaoi for experience, but if readers don't like that, I won't.

Anyway, bye!
