Origins (Part 1)

Planet Earth. A planet within the norther section of the universe, and the third planet of its respective solar system. Thanks to its proximity to the Sun, it has been able to sustain lifeforms, such as the plants that release oxygen within the planet's atmosphere, which along with nitrogen, give the atmosphere a blue color. However, plants are not the only lifeforms, they are accompanied by other species, such as birds, who chirp and fly high up in the sky; dinosaurs, who managed to survive their extinction millions of years ago; and humans, the most intelligent, but have ideological differences that sometimes have the cost of their own lives.

Today, in planet Earth, it was different than any other day. It would have been a regular, noisy, unordinary day. However, more than any other day… It was quiet… too quiet. Sure, other lifeforms such as birds, dinosaurs and canines are alive, but, human life seemingly frozed. The mayor cities, where the most commotion is, are silent. Tiny villages, where although there aren't many people in some, normally have festivities where everyone gets along, are shut. As we pan over to the streets, we see what really happened. Someway, somehow, all of human life has been eradicated. The children, the adults, the elderly, all of their bodies lie lifeless around the globe.

However… It seems as if there are two sentient lifeforms left alive throughout the destruction of humanity. Two lifeforms who appear to be fighting for survival, on this fateful day. What year is it, you may ask?

The battle of these two beings is brutal. On one hand, there's a pink, bubblegum-like demon wearing an orange with a blue undershirt, along two black armbands with yellow linings and white baggy pants that resemble that of a genie's, ending in black boots with similar yellow pattern ending in grayish brown shoes, a brown belt with a gold buckle with an "M" engraved into it. This being is in a furious state by not hitting it's adversary. The rose blob's adversary is a being resembling that of a human, but they have blond, spiked hair with two bangs, while wearing a gi with a blue obi, an orange undershirt, gloves and boots seemingly made out of the same material, and finally a pair of earings. This golden warrior appears to be in a league far above the bubblegum guy, by dodging effortlessly all the punches, kicks and beam attacks their way. Even when the pink blob released fumes to blind its opponent, the golden warrior still kept up.

"The most important thing in a battle is being able to sense the movement of ki, so it takes more than eyesight and a strong arm to be a warrior." The golden haired fighter said.

"I'll make you pay!" the Play-Doh growled in spite.

Just when it was going to make a move, the blond fighter delivered a devastating right blow to the pink menace's face. After recovering, it then proceded to try and land a right kick the the blond's abdomen, however, the blond saw that coming, and thus, managed to grab the leg in a bearhug-like manner. Then, the golden warrior threw the pink blob to the ground, making a large crater. After a bit of time, the earing-wearing humanoid extended their hand, from which a beam of light forms. This blade of energy destroys the rocks above the bubblegum menace, who then proceeds to get caught on the energy blade. As the blond raises their hand, so does the beam of light, therefore, when the warrior had their hand facing in front of his, the pink devil was in front.

"This is only the beginning, so give up, Buu." The golden warrior declares. The bubblegum demon known as Buu is speechless, the only sound it's making are grunts of pain. "What's wrong?" asks the blond "Has your confidence finally dropped, or does a cat got your tongue?"

"This isn't fun anymore. You know you can't last forever, so why don't you fight seriously? Or are you but you aren't capable of defending yourself" the blond asks yet again to taunt their adversary.

"Grrraaaaaaaaah… I, hate you!" Buu growls.

Suddenly, Buu starts twisting in the spirit sword, surprising the blond fighter. Then, Buu starts gravitating away for the blade of energy, which was still stabbing him through the right side of his rib cage. Then, his magical skin split and merged with Buu yet again, releasing him from the golden blade. The warrior then gets rid of the blade, as Buu's self starts regenerating, as well as his clothes. The blond warrior chuckles.

"GRRR! YOU'RE LAUGHING AT ME! I WARNED YOU NOT TO MAKE ME MAD!" Buu spouts.

"I'd say you're a stupid demon. What most surprises me, apart from that bad taste in my mouth, is that even after having absorbed so many powers that you haven't used any of them." Says the humanoid warrior.

"YOU HAVE SOME NERVE FOR MAKING ME INTO A JOKE! YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THAT!? I'M THE MOST POWERFUL BEING!" growls Buu. "I WILL DESTROY YOU FOR MAKING FUN OF ME! I'M NOT YOUR ENTERTAINMENT!" This gets the blond to smirk.

That was it. That smirk was the final straw. As Buu gets angrier, electricity starts sparking out of his body. After those sparks came an immense shockwave, which knocked the blond off their feet and turned the sky dark. The golden warrior looks in amazement, as Buu jitters violently saying:

"YOU MADE FUN OF ME! YOU LAUGHED AT MEEEE!" Buu's hands begin to bleed out purple, and saliva & sweat both pour down the creature's head. Buu's eyes are alight with a red color. It wasn't long until the very ground beneath and around both the warriors started to crumble and tumble down.

"You see that!? You have a surprising amount of power. Do you see now what you can do?" the blond spouts but then is interrupted by Buu who keeps grumbling and yelling.

"YOU! YOU MADE FUN OF ME! GRAAAAAAAAAA!" Buu then yells to the heavens with his arms extended outwards, which then release lightning into the clouds above. However, instead of just destroying the clouds, the sky itself breaks down when the lightning makes contact. The yells of anger from Buu echo around the planet. More and more, the sky breaks down even more than before.

"What the?!" The golden warrior exclaims in confusion. "The energy of the entire planet is warping around us. He's so angry that he might be trying to destroy everything around us, maybe this entire dimension… No! The entire universe will collapse! I HAVE TO STOP HIM" the blond fighter exclaims as they propel themselves onto Buu, flying in the air. Just when the warrior is a meter away from Buu, the demonic entity, out of sheer rage, makes a force field. This shield could have been broken by the blond warrior, however, in this occasion, Buu took a mental note of what the golden-haired humanoid said to him before.

Just as the shield begins to bend inward because of the golden warrior's fist, Buu yells out a word the earing-wearing being could not have ever thought of coming out of Buu's mouth. A singular word, sometimes even a phrase. The name of a technique.

"KAIOKEN!" Buu yells out, as another shockwave of energy knocks the humanoid several miles away, into a mountain known as Mount Paozu.

"NONONONONO! THIS CAN'T BE!" the being yells out mentally in a crater made to this behemoth of a natural wonder. "THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL HE CAN USE THE KAIOKEN! NEITHER PICCOLO, GOHAN, OR EVEN THE KIDS KNOW HOW TO USE THIS TECHNIQUE!"

Well, as it turns out, thanks to Piccolo and Gohan having seen someone similar to the golden warrior use this Kaioken technique, and thanks to Buu being able to tap into the memories of those he has absorbed, Buu managed to figure out how this ability actually worked. Buu listened to what he had said before. "What most surprises me, apart from that bad taste in my mouth, is that even after having absorbed so many powers that you haven't used any of them."

"HEY! VEGETTO!" a voice calls out to the golden warrior, now known as Vegetto.

"This is… KING KAI!" exclaims Vegetto as he recognizes that voice.

"IF YOU DON'T GO ALL OUT, THE WHOLE UNIVERSE WILL BE DESTROYED! SO DO IT NOW AND GIVE IT ALL YOU'VE GOT DAMNIT!" yells out King Kaio-sama in distress.

"ALRIGHT! THIS IS FOR EVERYONE!" Vegetto exclaims as his hair starts getting longer. Sparks are coming out of his sheer aura, and slowly, more of Planet Earth starts to wear down.

Coming back to Buu, his size has grown, this means the radius of effect from the lightning now reaches out to the entire solar system, but his body is starting to wear down faster than it's regenerating, thanks to the Kaioken putting the user's body at risk. In the horizon, a bright flash of golden light begins to engulf the area. It's Vegetto, but his hair has grown threefold. Vegetto has ascended beyond his regular blond state. As now with speed eons beyond the speed of light, Vegetto clashes with Buu, both now knowing that whoever won this struggle will be the victor. The struggle is intensifying, and it seems like Vegetto has the upperhand. However, with Buu not wanting to be humiliated by Vegetto anymore, he does the unthinkable.

"KAIOKEN… TIMES… ONE HUNDRED!" Buu spouts, as his voice echoes throughout the planets.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-" Vegetto yells as he unleashes everything he can, however, it is to no avail, as a crack from the universe itself similar to that of glass breaking forms itself, Splitting Vegetto's entire head in half (Spoilers for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean / Part 6 – Think of this as when Jotaro Kujo died by having his head split). This ended the life of the golden warrior.

Now, more and more of the universe itself starts to crack in the same way, with Buu being in the epicenter of this calamity, and with a final yell from Buu, The universe was shattered. Only glass shards are the things recognizable in this white void, previously known as a universe. In these glass shards is where we can see figures, possibly entities from another dimension. In these shards, each of the following are visible respectively: A duel of cards; A writer with a notepad; A pure white entity in a cross; A capped crusaider with a being that stands besides them; A bald man striking at an alien; and finally, A blond-haired person in a seemingly fit shape, looking at the bright horizon with a smile on his face, a smile that can confort anyone of pure heart, and enrage anyone opposing it. All of these entities are visible within every glass shard remaining, however, the white space devoid of sound now has faint voices that can be heard.

"F-FATHER" says a young voice.

"Goodbye, my son." Says a mature voice.

As then, two shadows appear in the distance, accompanied with a sinister voice.

"Yet another fighter… you could have saved. You worthless scrap."

The two shadows are then revealed to be the eyes of a perfect terror. The eyes are shining red, a red so bright that it engulfs the entire white space, now turned sinister as laughter of this same evildoer fills it.

And then…

"AAAAAAH!" A teenager wakes up from his bed, petrified. Then, a thump was heard along with a womanly squeal. As the teenager looks around, he sees a madam wearing a yellow uniform with a purple cloth tied on the back with turquoise pants, blue martial art shoes and with all of her hair put into a bun and also wears white Chinese earrings. This female was knocked to the ground, in which mostly lied in the floor, some socks being on top of the woman.

"G-G-Gohan?" The female stumbled on her words, trying to get herself together.

"Oh… Good morning mo-" The teenager said before being interrupted by his mother.

"OH SWEETIE PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR SCARING YOU IT WASN'T INTENTIONAL I DIDN'T WANT TO INTERRUPT YOUR SLEEP!" The mother said while hugging her baby boy.

"OH-UH-Mom it's f-fine don't worry." The teenager said trying to calm his mother down after that scare.

The mother let out a sigh of relief. "Oh well, at least we're both okay sweetheart." The mother expressed now in a calm voice. She then gave her offspring a kiss on the forehead. But, just before she could go out of the boy's room, the teenager said. "Hey, mom?"

"Yes, Gohan?"

A few seconds passed

"I had a nightmare."

"Oh, alright. Well, what was it?"

"It was… weird to say the least." The boy pondered as he tried to put into words what he dreamed of.

"There was this pink guy with dad's gi and another with the exact one but with inverted colors and Vegeta's gloves and shoes. They both fought but then the pink demon started to yell loudly, the Vegeta/Dad guy grew his hair beyond dad's and when they clashed the pink demon used the Kaioken and destroyed everything… And… And then…"

Gohan was having difficulty with this last part.

"What is it dear? Let it all out." The concerned mother said in a calm tone.

"I… I heard his voice again." Gohan said. His mother already knew what this was.

"Oh…" The mother expressed.

"Gohan, you know that wasn't your fau-" Before she could continue, Gohan exclaimed.

"You know it is my fault! If it wasn't for my arrogance he would be with us! I could've saved the day with him alive in the end!" Gohan's mother was shocked to hear this response, however, Gohan did have the power to defeat that villain. It's just his father didn't take into consideration Gohan's human emotions.

"Sweetie you have to let g-" The mother tried to calm down her son, but he responded.

"I'M THE REASON WHY DAD'S DEAD!" Gohan was upset. His anger ran through the household, and apparently it woke up someone.

"Good morning, mom, 'morning Gohan." A child said. This voice stopped the conversation the mother and son were having, as they both looked at the open door with a small kid. Gohan, his older brother, sighed and said.

"G' mornin' Goten. Say, did I wake you up?" Asked a concerned Gohan with a generous yet toned down. Goten, the younger brother responded.

"Ehh, sorta… I woke up… um, three minutes before!" Goten said as he thought.

This actually made Gohan look at his bedside clock, which marked 6:03 AM. "Huh… So my nightmare got me 30 minutes earlier than I was supposed to." Contemplated Gohan.

"Hey, big brother?" Asked a curious Goten to his brother.

"Yeah lil' dude?"

"Can we go that cardio thing?"

"Oh… Heheh… I guess we have some time to do that." Realised Gohan.

"YAY!" Exclaimed the now excited 6 year old. He then turned to his mom and asked. "Mom, can Gohan and I do the cardio thing?!"

The mother, Chi-Chi, let out a chuckle and then responded "Sure thing, but you two better return quick! Or else we might not make it to the city for that meeting!" Chi-Chi taunted.

"You heard her, lil' dude. We have to go beyond fast!" Said Gohan to get his brother more pumped.

"Yeah! PLUS ULTRA!" Goten yelled as he flew out of Gohan's window, with his brother following behind. "Hey! Wait for me you chipmunk!" Exclaimed Gohan as he followed his brother along, heading towards the sunset.

"REMEMBER WHAT I SAID!" Chi-Chi reminded her two kids from the window as they both ran towards the nearby mountain range. As a memory from Gohan's mind comes back to a time, where in this exact mountain range he saw a green serpentine dragon with a yellow underbelly and red eyes as Gohan, His father and friends were flying around it and when Gohan ran on top of the mountains.

"This, is the story, of how I became one of the greatest heroes to have ever lived. This is the story, of My Hero… No...Wait… My Z Warrior Academia."

–So, this is my first proper FanFic, so I wouldn't expect much if I were you. This FanFic was inspired by youtuber JaxBlade, The Symbol of Peace and Justice, My Golden Warrior, My Warrior Academia, and others. Also, there might be changes from both of the original series, so that means some events might happen later than they're supposed to. This is for character growth, as well as the plot (this works for better or for worse, since this can alter both series). I already have an Idea of what I could do for this FanFic. Edit 1 – I forgot to mention that thanks to having absorbed Piccolo, that Buu was able to turn giant just like Piccolo did in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai from OG Dragon Ball (This is/was in the reviews).
