"Hey Oscar where did you live before this whole mess went down." Ruby asked whilst on the floor of one of the rooms in the brawnswick farm. "Oh I lived on a farm with my Aunt and Uncle." Oscar replied. "Did you make sure to say bye, I mean I just left a note but that's cause Dad wouldn't let me leave otherwise." Ruby told him, at the mention of leaving a note Oscar realised ONE terrible detail he forgot to take care off.

"I FORGOT TO LEAVE A NOTE!" Oscar yelled at the sudden realisation. "She's gonna come looking for me." Oscar said in a mumble, Ruby on the other hand looked about ready to burst out laughing. "psh you you Forgot Or was it Psh YOU Oscar pine didn't want someone looking for you." Ruby asked gleefully only to realise one thing. "Is she gonna be worried." Ruby asked calming down so suddenly that the change in attitude alerted Yang who was on the other side of the room. Everyone else had left either to check to check the weather or to go searching for useful items. "What's up Ruby you suddenly seem incredibly down all of a sudden." Yang asked her little sister, Ruby looked to Oscar as if asking does he want to say. "I may have forgotten to leave a note to my aunt before leaving where I was living and she's probably gonna come looking for me." Oscar told the yellow haired girl in front of him. "Oh good luck she's either gonna think you're dead or she saw you on the news when we were at haven." Yang told him with a half grin. "Well good luck with that Oscar I'm gonna go find Blake." Yang finished walking off.

At Argus

Team RWBY along with Qrow, Oscar and Maria had arrived in Argus and had met up with Jaune, Ren and Nora only to be stopped by a fit young looking lady that only one person of there party seemed to recognise.

"Oscar Pine." The blond woman said staring at Oscar. "Where the F*ck have you been."

"Hi Aunt Dorthy." Oscar said smiling sheepishly.

"THAT'S YOUR AUNT." The onlookers of the party yelled looking at Oscar who looked like he wanted to disappear from Remnant.

"Nice to meet you I'm Dorthy Pine and I've come half way across Remnant looking for a child who forgot to I dunno say goodbye." Dorthy said giving Oscar a pointed look.

"Sorry I didn't say goodbye but if I did you probably wouldn't have let me leave." Oscar spoke in a much quieter tone than the surrounding people.

"You could've left a note." Dorthy said in a matter-o-fact tone.

"I might've I dunno forgotten." Oscar said quietly with a weak shrug.

"YOU FORGOT! HOW DO YOU FORGET!" Oscar's Aunt spoke with a fury that only comes from caring guardians.

"Um sorry to but in Buut we are still standing out in the middle of public and people are staring." A very timid Ruby stated.

"And who would you be dear." A suddenly calmer Dorthy said looking at the group again.

"I'm Ruby Rose." Ruby said

"Ruby Rose now where have I heard that name." Dorthy said asking herself. "Oh right the Vytal Festival. You're leader aren't you. I'm sorry for what happened." Dorthy said with a sad expression.

"Nah it's fine we're going to Atlas to prevent another Beacon and we met Oscar on the way to Haven and we've gone from there." Ruby said being the leader she was chosen to be.

"We'll I want an explanation for that." She said turning her face to her nephew.

"I uh I kinda had to and I can't explain why except I had to." Oscar said as fast as he could.

"Oscar listen Oz is being weird and I think your Aunt at least deserves a proper explanation, I know I can't say much to this but she's your family right." Qrow said with a small smile.

"And you are, Also Oz?" Dorthy said looking at Qrow.

"Qrow Brawnwen at your service and I think Oscar should explain." Qrow said, Oscar looked at Qrow with joking hatred, Oscar then took a deep breath before giving a response.

"I may have a thousand year old soul that's part of me now because he was forced to keep doing it until remnant is in harmony and it's not quite his fault because it was caused by the two brothers." Oscar said very quickly as he didn't know what to say except just that.

"Oh wow that wasn't what I was expecting but I mean I was expecting that you wanted to go and be a hunter or something just not that." Dorthy said shocked. " Well I guess I can't stop you SO Oscar Pine please remember to send me letters." She said smiling.

After the Argus incident

"Well I think they got into Atlas guess I might as well go home and await those letters." Dorthy Pine said smiling knowing her nephew would probably be fine.
