Hello, Satoru Taiyo here!
This is my 2nd Pokémon Fanfiction. The previous one I made back in 2015 on notebook paper and it's just horrible. so.. so.. many plot holes.
A few days ago, an author named Jackboy0815 created what I think is one of the best Fanfiction for Pokémon of this Decade so far.
I asked him for his permission to create my own story where I use my own characters and setting but in his original universe.
He said Yes!
For the safety of my family I have changed the names of myself and other characters, I have also changed a few things about where I live is so that I can make the story more enjoyable with less unknown variables.
Thank you!
-Satoru Taiyo.
Chapter 1: A brand new world
Oregon, August, 21, 2019,
6:30 AM, Pacific Standard Time (PST)
It seemed like a normal day when I woke up. My mother, Everly, prepared for her Job as Owner of her Dog grooming salon. It was about 30 minutes away. My 17 year old sister, Pearl, was still asleep. She doesn't awaken early on non school days. I, on the other hand wake up early on heavy working days to get done earlier. I'm 19, I previously graduated back in 2018.
"Aleksey!, remember 2 Cups for the goats!" My Mom told me.
" Yes I know.."
"Ok. Pearl won't be awake for a few hours"
"I will be back in the house by before 8:00 Mom"
"Ok bye Mom!"
Mom finally left the property.
7:08 AM (PST)
I put on my boots and planned. First I would feed all of the Rabbits and Goats. Then I would clip all of the low hanging branches on the property, front by the road , and in the side yard. My Australian Cattle Dog Justice, would follow me everywhere. He was an absolute Pal, It was great having the company, Since it would be a bit harder without my Stepfather, Frederick( we will call him Freddie from now on), but I could manage it.
Freddie was currently around an hour away in Portland, attempting to auction and sell his machinery from his now defunct steel beam structure building company.
The weather was clear, It isn't always like in Oregon. It usually rains more than it is sunny, especially in the Spring. I always wear something long sleeve, like a Heavy Jacket or Flannel shirt, even in hot weather. Just like my Late Grandfather, Jack Braden. Awesome man he fought in the Korean War, and was great at fishing, but sadly he passed in 2016. In instances where it gets too hot I ultimately have to grumble as I take my jacket off to keep cool.
7:34 AM (PST)
As I pushed a cart filled to the brim with trimmed branches moving towards a pile to burn in fire safe weather, My dog trotting behind, I stopped a old branch from sliding out of the wheelbarrow. looking at my phone, I decided to take a quick break to get some water.
"Whew… that's a lot of branches, I think I'm gonna need to stop for a few minutes"
Suddenly.. I felt a little nauseous.
"I… don't feel too great man…"
Looking at Justice, who stares back at me, I decide it's time I lay down.
"Must've been something I ate?"
I set my phone down on the bench seat outside my barn.
7:35 AM (PST)
I suddenly lost the will to take another step.
"Uh…?"
I could feel literal affliction in my body.
"Oh God.."
I seized onto the hard grassy field. It felt like I was being forced to drink gasoline and someone lit a match in my body. I couldn't stop myself from spasming. I completely lost all control of my body. I could feel something happening to the internal structure of my body. I felt an insane grinding feeling on my forehead, and especially in my legs and arms.
I felt something pushing outwards from inside my mouth. I threw up too, and as terrified as I was, I had no idea on what was happening to me. It didn't matter since I couldn't really dwell on it through the pain throbbing in my head.
I lost my vision then, and I believe the last thing I thought before my head hit something, which was probably a rock, and I knew no more was…
"Am I having a stroke?"
And then..
——Darkness——
