Summary: In a world that has gone to shit due to "The Infected" and the savagery of the last humans, meet Naruto Uzumaki, a sixteen year old kid with anger issues that is always ready to fight like hell to the death with no fucks to give.

Knock Knock Knock.

A blonde haired boy tossed and turned on the mattress he laid on, he was slowly awakened by the sound of loud knocking on Joel's apartment door. It was probably his girlfriend, Tess. The blonde figured.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

The person behind the door continued knocking, annoying the blonde who was trying to sleep. He heard his comrade tossing and turning as he now awakened.

"I'm not opening that," The blond, Naruto Uzumaki said half sleepily.

His comrade groaned as he continued to shift on the couch he was laying on, "Remind me why you're my friend again?" Joel said as he got up from the couch, "You hardly do anything around here." He said in a irritated tone.

The blond now fully awakened but still laying there grinned, "Because you love me, and because you trust me, I'm also excellent back up, and you love me," the blond continued with a grin.

"Ahhh," Joel looked thoughtful, but said nothing as now stood before his apartment door, without second thought he opened it.

And like Naruto predicted. It was none other than Tess. She walked inside the apartment. Naruto decided it was time to get up, so he got up as he looked at Tess. She looked like shit. She always looked like shit. Everyone did, but she looked like she had just been through more shit.

"Well, you look shittier than usual," Naruto remarked as Tess made her way to the kitchen table.

"Ah. Why thank you," She rolled her eyes, "And good morning to both of you," she added as she turned to Joel, "Want a drink?" She asked as poured herself some whiskey into a cup.

"No. I don't want one.." Joel said, annoyed, "Where have you been?" He questioned.

"If he doesn't want one, I do." The blond spoke as he walked to the table, he was about to grab the whiskey, but before he could Tess snatched it.

"Nice try, but nope. Still a kid." She said.

"No. I'm not. Not in this wretched world. Old enough to kill, old enough to fuck, and old enough to drink!" Naruto chripped as he snatched the bottle from her, and without getting a cup, he chugged down.

Tess sighed while turning to Joel, he still wanted an answer, "Well, I got some interesting news for both of you," she started to speak after drinking from her cup. "I was just in the West End District. I know we had a job to do, but you said you wanted to be left alone so I did. And before you say anything. The job went off without a hitch. I got us ration cards to last the three of us for months," she pulled out the cards and placed them on the table.

Joel stayed silent and he examined her, "Well, none of that answers why you're all bruised up and hurt," he leaned closer as he wiped some blood that was dripping from a cut that had been made on her cheek, most likely from a knife she barely managed to dodge.

Tess pulled back and said, "Yeah, on my way here I got jumped by these two assholes, they got a few good hits but man, should have seen how I took them down." She smiled at him.

Joel looked at her and Naruto spoke, "Should have left some for me. I love a good morning work out."

"Oh trust me, both of you, you'll get a piece of the action, cause get this, that asshole Robert fucking sent them to eliminate us," She said explained to them.

"Our Robert?" Joel asked her.

"I knew i should have killed him when I had the chance," Naruto remarked underneath his breath. That back stabbing son of a bitch.

"Yes. He knows we're after him. He wants to get us first before we get to him." Tess only said.

"Fuck," Joel growled, "Fucker is smarter than he looks, fuck."

"Nah. He isn't smart," Tess spoke, "Not as smart as he thinks he is. I want both of you to arm up because I know where he is. That fucker is hiding an a old warehouse in Area 5," she continued to say. "Get ready quick, and let's head out because he probably already recieved word that I wrecked the two fuckers he sent after me, who knows how long he'll be there."

"I've been born ready, let's go ruin this fucker!" Naruto growled, oozing anger.

"I'm ready, too," Joel spoke, "Let's go."

It had taken the trio longer than expected to reach the old warehouse located in Area 5, because as soon as they had reached the gates that led to Area Five. Those fireflies fuckers had attacked, so they couldn't get past the gates anymore.

Which meant they had to go the long way. The long way consisted of going through abandoned, worn down buildings that could collapse at any moment. They also had to walk through some Spores, which like always, wasn't fun and usually meant there was The Infected near by. And there was, damn couldn't they get lucky, ever?

And like always. If you knew Naruto. You knew that he hated The Infected. Everyone did, but Naruto hated them with a passion, he'd charged at them recklessly. How the boy hadn't been infected by one was beyond Joel and Tess, because Naruto loved close combat, he thrived off of it.

He used closed range weapons or his bare fists to kill any fucker in his way. He used guns too, but he mostly loved close range combat.

The average person would take any Infected down using a gun, it was the safest way, the closer any Infected got to you, especially a group of them, the more in danger you were and the average person was scared of the Infected, but Naruto? No. The boy's hatred and rage overrode any fear he had for the Infected.

Which could be a good, yet bad thing, sooner or later the boy would get infected. So far he was one lucky boy. Joel tried not to think about it too much. He'd never admit it, but he liked the blonde, and wouldn't wanna see him go down so soon.

Oh well. Sooner or later It'd happen.

The trio of Joel, Tess and Naruto were close to the warehouse where Robert was, they were a block or two away. As Naruto turned the corner, a bullet flew past him.

He quickly pulled back, as the trio stopped.

"They are here!"

"Kill them!"

"Don't let then leave!"

The trio heard a group of men say as bullets flew past them. As soon as they'd turn the alley they'd get an incoming wave of bullets. So they had to be careful.

"Bitches!" Naruto growled underneath his breath as he checked the weaponry on him, "Katana? Check. Smoke bombs? Check. Med Packs? Check. Daggers? Check. Uh.. gun? Okay check." The blond spoke to himself before taking a deep breath.

Then without warning he turned, two bullets flew past him - one almost hitting his head, he quickly threw three smoke bombs at their attackers. The whole alley filled up with smoke, and as it did, the men shot bullets at the smoke. After the bullets ceased the blonde spoke to Joel and Tess, "Cover me!" He whipped out his Katana and charged forward, disappearing in the smoke.

"How the fuck are we supposed to cover him if we can't see him through the smoke?" Tess turned to Joel.

"We'll see soon enough," Joel said as the smoke began fading away. And as they stared, the duo saw five men dead on the ground as Naruto slashed his blade at an incoming male, the man's head dropped to the ground followed by his body. The blonde then turned around and slashed at a thug about to shoot at him, he quickly sliced his arm off, causing the man to scream in agony as he dropped to the ground on his knees, the blond kicked his face and the man dropped back on his head.

"Fuck you, bitch. Die!" The blond yelled as the smoke completely cleared. The men were all dead.

"Guess he didn't need back up," Tess shrugged her shoulder's as they walked towards the blonde.

"Alright, let's keep going." Joel then said as the trio continued walking. They walked until they arrived to the warehouse. It was packed with men waiting for them.

Naruto pulled out his handgun, it has ten bullets in the clip, and he only had a magazine to spare, with his right arm he tightly held his baby, his Katana.

"Let's get fucking wild!" The blond then yelled as he rushed foward and continued to yell, "Robert where are you, you ugly fuck. I'm here to kill you, bitch. But first I'll kill all your men!" The blond yelled as he continued rushing toward them.

"Get THEM!" The men shouted as she shot bullets at the trio charging at them.

As Naruto continued to run he ducked as men shot at him, he then rolled to the side and quickly got up, he shot two bullets at a shooter, who then dropped dead.

"Die you little shit!" The blond tilted his head to see one of the men about to hit him with a crowbar, before he could the man was shot by Joel, the dude dropped like horse shit and Naruto nodded thankfully, before turning and shooting three other dudes.

"Yeah! Get some!" Tess yelled as Naruto saw her killed three other dudes.

As Naruto continued to kill anybody within sight he saw Robert. The fucker was trying to get away! Not on his watch!

"Yo. Robert is tryna get away! Let's go!" Naruto yelled as he pointed at Robert.

"Shit!" Tess growled, "Hurry up!"

They killed the remaining men and they chased after Robert, who ran up some stairs and out a door. They quicky continued after him, and soon they were all caught up because the dumb bastard was at a dead end. A fence was blocking his way to freedom.

"Hello. Robert." Tess spoke as the man turned around. The man sighed.

"Tess... Joel... Naru-" Before he could finish. A shot was heard, a bullet flew and it hit him right in the head. Robert dropped to the ground dead.

It was Naruto who shot him, "I ain't got time for boring shit."

"Naruto!" Joel and Tess glared at him, "Why'd you do that?!" They growled.

"You were gonna kill him anyway. I saved us time, a lotta time," the blond said dryly.

"Yeah. But after we asked questions you fool!" Tess facepalmed at the blond. "Like who he sold our merchandise to!"

"Oops. Ain't that a bitch."

"You idiot!" Joel snapped at the blond. "Now what?" He asked as he turned to Tess.

"I don't know... we don't know who sold our shit to... so we can't go after them," She sighed. Dammit.

"Now you know... he sold it to me," The trio turned to see a black woman slowly walking towards them.

"Queen Firefly? This bastard sold it to you? This day just keeps getting shittier and shitter," Joel said, voice filled with irritation.

Naruto looked up at the sky, "We got a few hours before the sun sets, so it'll probably get even shitter, too."

"Oh. How I love your optimism," Joel continued to say, voice filled with sarcasm.

"Me too."

"Give it back to us, our merchandise." Tess ignored the men as she turned to Queen Firefly.

Queen Firefly looked to be wounded as she placed a hand over her stomach, she turned to Naruto, "Dammit boy. What is wrong with you? I saw how you killed Robert... I needed him alive. And you... you didn't even let him finish talking, you just shot him? What... what happened to you? Dammit." She shook her head as she turned to Tess. "The merchandise he sold it to me. So it is mine. And I needed him alive, so since your friend killed him, we'll have to come to an agreement. If you want your merchandise... you'll have to help me smuggle something out of the city."

"Smuggle what?" Naruto cocked an eyebrow. He needed to make shit right.

"Never mind that. How do will know this isn't a set up? How do we know you'll give it back to us, huh?" Joel continued to ask. "The way I've been hearing it, is that the military has been wiping the fireflies out." He then said.

"You're right they have." Queen Firefly sighed, "I can show you the guns, but I won't give them to you unless you do this little job for me," she said.

Before anyone could say anything, they heard the military coming their way. Fuck.

"Well. Decide now. Come with me and accept the job, or stay here and die." The wounded woman said as she looked for an exit.

"We will wanna see the guns first." Tess merly said.

The Queen sighed and said, "Okay, follow me then..."

Little did they know, that their lives would be changed forever from that moment on.

A/N: it's been a while. My writing has gone crappier and I'm hella rusty but anyway. I've been playing the last of us an hour or two a day, and it's a fun little game, sad at times, scary at others and I just got thinking perhaps I can make a story about it.

I've been trying to stay from your typical anime crossovers and explore other shit as y'all can see. Honestly doing show stories can be a drag, so much to keep up with and to follow canon wise but in a video game like the last of us. It should be simpler because there's only like 2 hrs worth of time skips to go through, so the rest is just you adding shit and being creative. So that's fun.

As you can see this chapter is a bit rushed. These first two chapters I wanna get through as quick as possible since it sets everything up. After that I'll try getting more creative and slowing down, see where this story goes. So yeah.

Lastly. I notice the Last of Us/Naruto section to be dead. There's like five stories. So I do not expect many people to read and review. So if by chance you like where this is going or want to see where it's going please drop a review. Just lemme know what you think, perhaps a bit of support. I ain't expecting 100s or even 10 reviews but a review would be nice. :) either way I'll probably update this once or twice more before deciding if I wanna continue.
