Hey, everybody! Back with another story! Hope you like this one!

So, this will introduce a new hero into the MACU, who I think you all will like. However, that hero won't show up until the next chapter. This also won't be an origin story. The hero I'm introducing has already became a hero.

This will also be mainly centered on Oliver and Natasha, although the rest of the Avengers will appear periodically throughout the story.

Also, timeline wise, this begins in December 2020.

Let's get to it.

Chapter 1- An Avengers Christmas

Natasha throws a punch right at Oliver's head. He easily blocks it, grabbing her arm and trying to throw her over his shoulder. However, as he does, she wraps her legs around Oliver's head and throws him to the floor. Oliver quickly flips himself back upright and turns to face Natasha. The two exchange several more blows before Natasha manages to trip up Oliver and leap on him, pinning him to the ground.

Natasha smirks down at Oliver. "Beat you again," she says, still smirking.

Oliver smirks at her, then pulls his hands our from under her knees, reaches up, grabs her head, pulls her down, and kisses her. Natasha smiles against his lips and kisses him back.

The two deepen their kiss and likely would have gone further until they hear someone clear their throat. They separate and look up and see Bruce standing a few feet away, arms crossed.

"Before you guys keep going and give me some real mental scars while you're at it, just wanted you to know that dinner is ready," Bruce says.

"Give you mental scars? Really? You're the Batman, Bruce," Oliver says.

"Yeah, and I still shudder if I think about the one time I walked in on you two going at it. If you want to spend Christmas Eve getting it on with each other, at least wait until you're in your bedroom," Bruce says with a smirk before he turns and walks out of the training room.

Oliver and Natasha look back at each other. "We can continue this later. For now, let's go eat," Oliver says.

"I'll hold you to that," Natasha says before getting off of Oliver and pulling him to his feet.

The two walk, hand in hand, to the dining room, where Bruce, Wally, Rhodey, Scott, and Hope are all waiting for them. A nice Christmas dinner is sitting on the table, having been prepped by several members of the team over the course of the day.

Oliver and Natasha sit down at the table with everyone else. "Alright, everyone. This is our first Christmas together. I have to admit, it's been a little while since I celebrated Christmas, but I'm glad to be celebrating it again with you guys," he says. Everyone smiles at that.

"Alright. Enough waiting. Let's eat!" Oliver declares. Everyone cheers and starts filling their plates.

Oliver smiles as he fills his stomach with great food and talks with his fellow Avengers. It has indeed been a long time since he celebrated Christmas. He and the others certainly didn't the Christmas following the Decimation. And he feels happy to be here with the Avengers.

After dinner, the team stays up and plays games with each other. Finally, around 11, Oliver and Natasha head off to bed.

Needless to say, Natasha doesn't let Oliver forget his promise. It's not until midnight that Natasha finally falls asleep.

As Oliver wraps his arms around her from behind and feels drowsiness start to overtake him, he smiles, looking forward to tomorrow, still hardly able to believe what's he's going to do tomorrow.

(The next morning)

The first Oliver feels is the sensation of lips on his. He opens his eyes and sees Natasha kissing him. As he registers this, she pulls back and smiles.

"Merry Christmas," she says.

"Merry Christmas," Oliver responds with a smile.

"Rhodey just knocked on the door. Told us that everyone else is awake and they all want us to get up for present opening," Natasha says as she gets out of bed and starts pulling her clothes back on.

Oliver quickly gets out of bed and gets dressed too. Once they're both dressed, they head out of their bedroom and towards the living room where Oliver and Bruce set up the main Christmas tree (there were half a dozen trees throughout the facility) two weeks earlier.

When they get to the living room, they find everyone else already there and waiting for them. Also present are Hank Pym, Janet van Dyne, Cassie, Maggie, Paxton, Tony, Pepper, and Morgan.

"Well, took you long enough to get up, Queen. Spending a little quality time with Nat were you?" Tony says with a smirk.

"What if I was, Stark?" Oliver asks.

"Enough talking about Oliver and Natasha's sex life. Let's get to presents," Scott says.

"Yes, let's," Oliver says.

"Can I go first?" Cassie asks.

"Sorry, Cassie. Since Morgan is youngest, she should go first," Scott says.

"Yay!" Morgan cries. She starts clapping as Pepper picks up a present for her and hands it to her.

Slowly, the grab continues opening their presents one by one. With everyone who's there, there's a very large pile of presents around the tree, and it takes quite a while to get through them all.

Finally, after over half an hour, the presents are almost gone. As Oliver looks around the room, he decides its time.

"Everyone! If everyone could be quiet, I have an important gift I need to give," Oliver says. He then turns to Natasha.

As he looks at her, he feels an incredible feeling of love for her fill him, and knows he truly wants to do this. SO, he smiles and says, "Nat, when I met you, I knew I'd found a kindred spirit. Someone who I could truly relate to. I never imagined then how much I would grow to love you. You've made me realize again what it means to love. And I never want this feeling to end. I never want to lose you. I want to make you mine forever."

Oliver then reaches into his pocket and pulls out the small velvet box as he gets down on one knee. Everyone lets out various noises and cries of excitement and disbelief, but Oliver is completely focused on Natasha, who is looking at him with wide eyes and tears in her eyes.

Oliver beams at Natasha as he opens the box to reveal the ring that was once his mother's. The ring Felicity once wore for a brief time. He feels somewhat guilty using a ring he's already used on another woman, but he knows his mother would want her ring to continue in the family, and would want him to give it to a woman he truly loved. That puts down any guilt he feels.

So, Oliver looks deeply into Natasha's eyes, and asks her, "Natasha Romanoff…will you marry me?"

Natasha stares back at Oliver, for once lost for words, tears spilling from her eyes. After several long, silent moments, Tony leans a bit closer and whispers, "You gotta say something, Nat." Oliver shoots him a glare to tell him to shut up.

However, Tony's words seem to jar Natasha out of her daze. She looks Oliver right in his eyes and says softly, "Yes." She then manages to get her normal voice volume back and says, "Yes. Yes! YES!" She then reaches forward and grabs Oliver's face, pulls him towards her, and kisses him deeply.

Everyone around them begins to cheer and clap. After several long moments, Oliver and Natasha pull apart again, and Oliver removes the ring from the box and slides it onto Natasha's ring finger. She then pulls him into another kiss.

Oliver feels happiness swell in him. More happiness than he's felt in a long time. Yes, this is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life.

This is the woman he wants as his wife.
