Another story on Gran Hotel.

Since its a Spanish lenguage show, i decided to keep a few word in Spanish, such as nicknames and presentations, like Mr. and Mrs. which in the lenguage, its Don and Doña, hope you don´t mind.

Another thing i forgot to point is that the character Andres is Alicia´s half brother (he was her father´s son, with the housekeeper) in the start of the show, he was also a waiter, but by the end, he found out his origins.

Ok, it´s the only note i think i need to make, just in case.

Hope you like it,

Plese, enjoy.

I don´t have a beta reader for the stories regarding this show.

ONE FAMILY.

When Alicia stepped out at the Blancaron station, with the man she loved, she couldn´t help but be afraid of what his parents would think of her, still, to her surprise, Mr. and Mrs. Olmedo loved to meet her and thank her, for finally put their son in the right path, as they said, she was the only girl who wasn't a bad influence to him.

''Bad influence?'' Alicia laughed.

''You know my past Alicia'' Julio bowed his head ''I wasn´t what everyone call 'Good Boy' as much as I tried to change, I was prone to get myself in trouble, that's how I met Cecilia. Christina used to ask for me to change, but you know…'' he said and in response, Alicia kissed him.

''I´m glad you could change and I'm happier to know that you changed for me'' she said lovingly.

One month later, Julio asked her to marry him and to his relief, she accepted without a second thought. Sure, to avoid waste money, Alicia suggested Julio to buy just one ring, this way, once she had a wedding ring for her first marriage, he could buy one matching hers and they would pretend it was for their own, however, Julio refused and brought her a nice ring, with the economy he made on the hotel. And then, before long, they were

One thing however was bothering Alicia. As much as she knew that herself and her family had their ups and downs, but she couldn't help miss them, her mother, her brothers Andres and Javier and even Sofia, despite of her differences. And above all, she missed the hotel and all the people in it.

That night then, having been two weeks for the wedding, Alicia decided to talk to Julio about that and expressed her wish to invite them to their wedding. In response, after a few seconds of silence, Julio kissed her.

''You´re right, we have a lot of differences and I doubt if Doña Theresa would accept sleep in a poor house while they´re here'' Julio said ''But I will be selfish, if I tell you to not invite them…I mean, I suppose Andres and Maite would come without asking, but if it makes you happy, my darling, I don´t see why not invite them''

''Thank you, my love,'' she kissed him back ''Now lets get to sleep, tomorrow we need to start look for a job''

''A job?''

''We need to start living with something, Julio, we can´t depend on your economy for the rest of our lives'' she laugh and he agreed.

Two days later, back at the hotel, Doña Theresa was leaving the Manager´s office, when Matteo, the receptionist, told her she had received a letter. Confused, since she hadn´t received a letter in a long time, the woman opened in a haste and her heartbeat faster with happiness, once she found out it was a letter from Alicia, telling her she was alight.

''…And they also invited us to their wedding!'' Doña Theresa finished read the letter out loud to the rest of the family during dinner that night.

''When will be the wedding?'' asked Andres as he poured some drink for him and his fiancé, Maitê.

''August, 7th, two weeks from now'' said the older woman ''And they invite all of us''

''I think we should go'' said Laura with a smile.

''i´m not sure…'' Javier protested ''I mean, I miss my sister as well, but I don´t know… sleeping in a hovel… I don't know if I will like it…''

''I doubt your sister or Julio lives on a hovel, Javier, so be careful of what you say!'' Doña Theresa frowned, not wanting to admit that she was thinking the same thing.

''Oh, Ratoncito, it will be fun… like an adventure!'' Laura replied ''I would like to go and… get to meet my sister-in-law a little better. Besides, I agree with your mother, I doubt it she lives in a hovel.''

''Ratoncita…'' Javier scratched his chin, still in doubt.

''Doña Theresa, may I said what I think?'' asked Andres´s mother, the manager Doña Angela.

''Of course, Angela, what you think?''

''I think it would make Miss Alicia incredibly happy if you all go. Do not worry, as a manager, I will make sure the Gran Hotel will be impeccable, meantime.''

''I agree with you, Mother'' Andres exclaimed. ''Count on me!''

''Me too, I miss my friend'' Maitê also agreed.

''Well… I admit that, I miss my daughter a lot lately'' the hotel owner smiled sadly ''I suppose, we should go yes'' she said ''Lets sent Sofia a telegram and settle everything'' she said as they resume dinner.

Back at Blancaron, no one for the family, had told Alicia they would be going for the wedding, so, despite of been the happiest day of her life, the woman couldn't help of been disappointed, as she thought at least Andres, who was once a chamberlain like Julio, appear, but none of them came.

''Alicia?'' Mr. Olmedo knocked the door ''Are you ready?'' he asked, pulling her out of her thoughts.

''Oh, yes, I am, Mr. Olmedo, lets go'' she smiled opening the door as her future father-in-law, offered his arm.

''After everything you did for my son, it will be my pleasure walk you to the altar, daughter'' he said ''You and Julio are made for each other'' he smiled as they go to the church.

Once they reach the church, Alicia had a big surprise, before she could even see Julio standing near the aisle, as soon she and Mr. Olmedo step into the place, a young man, a bit older than her, reach to them with a huge smile.

''Excuse me, Sir, may I take this beautiful lady to her future husband?''

''Who are you?'' Mr. Olmedo asked confused.

''Andres Alarcon, I'm her brother'' he said and turning to Alicia, he smiled ''Lets go? Poor Julio must been waiting too long'' he said and holding back her tears, she took his arm and they walk toward the altar.

Once the ceremony ended, everyone, bride, groom, family and guests head back to the Olmedo´s residence o celebrate and making sure all her family was there, Alicia was now smiling from ear to ear.

''We want to make you a surprise'' Doña Theresa explained, when she hugs her daughter ''Alicia, i´m so proud of you''

''Thank you, mother, I'm glad you could come'' Alicia said, and her mother nodded.

''And Julio, thank you so much, for making my daughter happy''

''Your daughter is the woman of my dreams, Doña Theresa, I will do everything to make her happy'' he said shaking her hand. Once she left Julio turned to his new wife and asked ''Happy?''

''Yes'' she said ''But not only because my family is here, but because we are now free and ready to live our life like we want. ''I love you, Julio Olmedo''

''And I love you too'' Julio replied, kissing her as they join the party.

That was now indeed Alicia´s happiest day of her live and she couldn't wait to live it fully.

That experience, served also, for Don Javier to proudly say that going to Blancaron, was one of the best decisions of his life.
