Disclaimer: I do not own My hero academia or any of its character

Hey! Here is another Fan fiction to add to my collection and for you guys to read and hopefully enjoy. I strongly ship these two characters together and personally would like to see them together in the near future. I'm sure just of you feel the same way to

Jirou bobbed her head to the steady rhythm playing beside her. As she sat with her eyes closed, taking in the different notes playing to the tune she had written, she smiled to herself. All her hard work was finally paying off. Well she couldn't take all the credit, learning how to play an instrument took hard work and dedication from both the teacher and student after all. She had lost herself to the music playing until it was suddenly broken when a wrong note made it into the mix. Blinking her eyes open she stopped the playing completely.

"You played that E flat wrong Kaminari..." she scolded without trying to sound to harsh.

"Sorry" he looked back at her apologetically, "I was kind of hoping you wouldn't notice"

"How could I not?" she looked at him questioningly with a hint of amusement. Her instrument mastery and ear Jack's made her more then qualified to find the fault.

"True" Kaminari laughed nervously, "I couldn't help it, we've been at this for an hour and a half now and I've not had a day off in over a week. My fingers are beginning to get sore" he whined.

"We have a week until the concert and you still have a few things to improve on" Jirou sighed, "But I guess a five minute break won't hurt. After which, if you play the full tune without a mistake, you can have tomorrow off. Ok?" Jirou offered kindly.

"Gotcha!" Kaminari grinned, before half sprinting from the room to add some ice to his aching hands.

Jirou watched him leave with an exasperated smile. She knew that she had been pushing the band lessons hard for the last few days, but it was beginning to pay off. Luckily for her in was always Bakugo that pointed out the flaws, loudly, so at least she didn't have to be the bad guy in that area. She took a drink of water from her nearby glass before standing up to stretch and move around a little herself. If they weren't practicing together in the main hall, then she was giving lessons in the study room of the dorm, which was for the time being, her classroom. She helped all the band mates, but as Momo and Bakugo were already familiar with their instruments, and Tokoyami only really needed help with the F chord on his guitar, she found that most of her teaching was focused on Kaminari, who was a beginner when he began to learn guitar from her. Truth be told he was ready for the concert, and all though it was a good idea to keep practicing, as crazy as it sounded, the lessons were also for her benefit. She enjoyed spending time with him. She enjoyed spending time with the others of course, but with Kaminari it was different. He was fun to be around, energetic, easy to talk to and cute.

"Please tell me I didn't just think that!" Jirou mentally scolded herself as she tried to shake the thoughts away.

"I'm back!" Kaminari declared loudly as he entered the room again.

Jirou immediately turned red as if he had somehow heard her thoughts. She quickly turned away from him to hide her shame but it was to late.

"Hey are you ok Jirou? You've gone all red. If you don't feel to good maybe we should leave the rest of the lesson for today?" Kaminari suggested.

"No I'm good!" Jirou half croaked, half shouted as she turned back to a concerned looking Kaminari. She cleared her throat and took a deep breath, "I just choked on a bit of water, that's all"

Trying to hide her discomfort further, she shoved his guitar at him and forced him to sit.

"Now let's go from the top" she finished.

Lesson over, Kaminari breathed a sigh of relief as he stretched out his hands.

"So I get tomorrow off right?" he asked hopefully.

"You didn't mess up and that was the deal" Jirou half heartedly agreed as she began to pack her things away.

"Great!" Kaminari grinned as he slouched back on his chair with his legs stretched out, staring at the ceiling. He had completely missed the disappointment in her voice.

Jirou looked back at him with a sad smile. Once these lessons were over and the concert had been and gone. She wouldn't get this kind of quality time with him again and her heart ached slightly at the thought. She kept assuring herself that she didn't have feelings for him, but was she kidding herself? Maybe she just enjoyed this new kind of friendship they had created, and she was afraid of losing it? Shaking her head again she made for the door. Just as she was about to open it, Kaminari's voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Hey Jirou?" he spoke quietly still staring at the ceiling.

"Yeah?" she asked turning back to face him.

"When the concert is over and school life goes back to normal, will you still give me lessons?"

"Really?" she asked almost to joyfully, her heart skipping a beat.

"Yeah" he confirmed sitting up and looking at her with one of his most genuine smiles, "I've really only learnt what I need for the concert, but I'd like to continue learning everything there is to know about the guitar. Maybe even other instruments. You know, like you"

"Like me?" she asked, beginning to blush again.

"Yeah. Like I said before, you really are awesome. And if I can be just as half as good as you, it would be amazing" he continued enthusiastically, "I can't think of anyone else I would rather learn from. So what do you say? Will you continue teaching me?"

Jirou had spaced out of the conversation the moment he had complimented her. She stood staring into blank space with red cheeks unaware of the blonde stood in front of her waiting patiently for an answer.

"Erm Jirou?" There was a slight pause, "Earth to Jirou... You've gone all red again. Are you sure you're ok?" Kaminari asked concerned again. He placed his hand onto her forehead to see if her temperature was ok.

"Huh?" Jirou blinked herself back into focus. Seeing how close Kaminari now was to her face, she jumped back reflexively, half scaring her male classmate.

"There she is" Kaminari smiled now placing a hand on his hip with a sigh of relief.

"S...sorry I was just thinking" Jirou deflected flustered, "Yeah I don't have a problem giving you some extra lessons. We'll talk about it next time when I've worked out a schedule ok?" She answered hastily whilst blushing the whole time. She stumbled and dropped items before clumsily picking them back up as she rushed out of the room to save herself from further embarrassment and failing miserably.

"Why did I find that reaction cute?" Kaminari questioned himself curiously as he watched her leave. Shrugging, he gathered his thoughts back up and pushed it to the back of his mind unwilling to dwell on it. He picked up his guitar and looked over the notes Jirou had written out for him. Even her handwriting was cute.

"Damn why do I keep thinking that?" he asked out loud to himself. Again pushing the thought to the back of his mind, he left the room.

That night, Jirou quietly sat in the common room with most of the class of 1A, excluding Bakugo who was as usual in his room avoiding everyone else. The whole class was excitedly talking about the upcoming concert, it seemed like that was all they did talk about these days. Normally Jirou would have joined in, but tonight she could only focus on one thing, or person, in particular. Kaminari was sat next Tokoyami comparing notes on guitar playing Whilst also charging up Sero's and Kirishima's phones. As she sneakily watched him from behind her hair, she was questioning where these new found feelings could have possibly come. As much as she tried to reason if it was from a deeper friendship, she knew it was more. The enthusiastic smile that he wore on his face right now sent her heart speed higher. He looked towards her and she quickly looked away. She groaned in frustration at how stupid she was being, but it was perhaps a little to loudly.

"Are you ok Jirou?" Ashido, who had been sitting next to her and over heard the groan asked, "You've been quiet all night and that brooding look has also been on your face all night"

"Yeah i'm fine" Jirou answered quickly with the biggest fake smile she could muster. Ashido looked at her friend surprised and somewhat suspiciously. Jirou knew she hadn't bought her far to enthusiastic reply. Thinking to herself she came to a conclusion, she could trust her friend to keep this secret for her. Sighing, she let her face drop again, "Actually, I could do with some female advice if that's ok?"

"Of course!" Ashido smiled back, then much to Jirou's dismay and horror, declared to the whole room, "Girl's! I'm calling for an emergency Ladies meeting! Let's go!"

All the female classmates looked at each other with confusion. They watched Ashido grab a bright red Jirou's hand and drag her from the room. Shrugging, they all got up and also followed them out of the room.

"What do you think that could be about?" Kirishima asked once they had vanished from view.

"Your guess is as good as mine" Kaminari answered just as confused.

"Who cares!" Mineta piped up happily, "Loads of girls together in one room! Let's go and see if we can get a peek!"

"I will have to advise strongly against that" Ida cut in threateningly, "You stay exactly where you are"

"Your no fun" Mineta whined. He spent the rest of the night sulking with Ida's eyes firmly on him.

All the girls were now sat in Ashido's room. They were all looking at Ashido and Jirou expectantly wondering why on earth they had been called here in such a way.

"When I said I wanted some female advice, I didn't mean every female in the dorm" Jirou grumbled to Ashido.

"Oh, sorry" Ashido answered sincerely with an apologetic smile, "But we're all here now and a few of us helping might be better then just one"

"What is this about?" Momo asked intrigued and somewhat worried, "What do you need help with Jirou? Has something bad happened?"

"No, no, it's nothing like that" Jirou reassured her friends, "But I really don't want to talk about it anymore" she smiled at them all nervously and apologetically.

"Come on Jirou, we're your friends" Uraraka smiled kindly, "We won't judge you"

"Yeah, we promise that what ever you say to us will not leave this room" Hagakure reassured.

This was followed by all the girls offering their support which made Jirou even more nervous as she sat biting her lip wondering what to do.

"Ok guys" Momo cut in quieting down the room, "If she doesn't want to share anymore, we can't make her"

"No, it's fine" Jirou finally spoke again quietly, "If I don't tell anyone, I'll just end up driving myself mad"

The group all looked towards the nervous, very red, girl as she spoke. Taking a deep breath, Jirou began.

"I think I have a crush on Kaminari!" she almost shouted quickly at them with her head down and eyes closed. After a brief pause of no sound, Jiro opened her eyes again to see what had happened. She was met with them all staring at her in shock. Then once the news had finally sunk in, the room was filled with excited screaming and gushing.

"When did it begin?"

"Have you told him?"

"Are you going to tell him if you haven't already?"

"Do you want one of us to talk to him?"

These were just some of the excited questions thrown at her. Jirou was beginning to get overwhelmed, wishing she had just kept her mouth shut. She was unable to get a word out as she was continuously cut off by a question. Finally she had had enough.

"Everyone quiet!" she demanded loudly, "As I said. I only think I have a crush on him"

"What do you mean? Ashido asked, as the room finally went quiet again.

"I don't know if it's just because of all the time we've been spending together. So I'm not sure" Jirou answered quietly as she folded her head into her knees.

"Well, what makes you think it's a crush?" Uraraka asked, all to familiar with her own feelings for Midoria.

Jirou shrugged in response.

"Do you always end up thinking about him no matter what situation your in?" Momo asked.

"I wouldn't say all of the time..." Jirou answered honestly.

"But most of the time?"

"Yeah..."

"Does your heart race when he looks at you, you look at him or when you speak with each other?" Uraraka added.

"Yes...everytime"

"And I bet you wish the guitar lessons would never end when your spending time with him to, don't you?" Tsu half asked and half stated.

"Yes!" Jirou sighed loudly burying her face into her knees again now knowing the correct answer to her dilemma.

"Well then, I'm afraid you have a crush girl!" Ashido confirmed with a grin.

"So cute!" Hagakure cooed.

"What am I going to do?" Jirou fretted as she flung herself back to lie on the bed.

"You should kiss him to see if he feels the same way" Hagakure stated dreamily.

"Erm... although I agree you should see if he feels the same way, maybe just try talking to him instead of throwing yourself at him first" Tsu suggested.

"Agreed. That way you will know where you stand. And if he feels the same way then great! If not, you can move on" Momo added.

"You guys are no fun" Hagakure sulked.

"If your so brave, why not try kissing Ojiro?" Ashido teased.

"I do not have a crush on him!" Hagakure denied as everyone laughed.

If they were able to see her face, they would have seen the slight blush she was able to hide. Recovering herself slightly, she joined in laughing with them.

Jirou smiled at her friends happy faces. She did feel slightly better for being able to off load her problems to them. She was able to understand what her genuine feelings were now. All she had to do now was muster up the courage to talk to Kaminari and hope against hope, he didn't just laugh in her face.
