Seth studied Aleister and Helga curiously. It was his first time meeting Aleister's female roommate but he had heard a lot about her from Aleister. They seemed to have a good friendship going. The normally silent man lit up around the peach blonde woman with the crystal blue eyes. Both of them calling each other viking as a pet name. A joke Seth could only roll his eyes at.
She was beautiful. Seth wasn't blind. And clearly Aleister thought so too. Sometimes Seth had talked to Aleister in private on the road, and Aleister had admitted to his feelings for Helga. Feelings he for some reason didn't act on. Seth hadn't asked. He had just assumed Helga wasn't feeling anything for Aleister but watching the two roommates made it clear for Seth. They were both in love with each other without telling each other. Something Seth couldn't wrap his head around.
"Alright, let's go to the bar. The others are waiting," Aleister said.
Aleister had just received a text from one of his friends down there. Seth hoped there would be some female friends. Or at least just one he could hook up with. Or maybe he could go for Helga. If Aleister could be convinced that Helga had made the first move. Seth doubted it and that made him feel slightly annoyed. Aleister had every chance of getting laid everyday and didn't jump on it. Seth just craved a one night stand, and the one woman in front of him right now was probably off the table. He didn't know if the backstage heat between him and Aleister that would undoubtedly follow would be worth the one quick fuck.
"Aleister," Helga said lowly.
Despite keeping her voice low, Seth of course heard her. He watched as Aleister squatted down in front of Helga and tied her shoelaces. Helga looked embarrassed and kept her eyes away from Seth. To Seth it just seemed stupid. She was a grown woman. In his world this was just a stupid, controlling type of behavior.
She wasn't worth a quick fuck anymore. She wasn't worth anything. Whatever he had thought he had been seeing during this evening, he now considered it to be all an act. Helga had to know about Aleister's feelings, and she was using him in any way that she could.
"There you go, viking," Aleister smiled and stood up. "Let's go get a drink and have some fun."
