Krux and Acronix charge at Kai, Jay, Lloyd, Geoff, Gewuji and Blake before Acronix went to strike Lloyd, but he blocked it as Kai blocked Acronix's attack while Jay blocked Acronix's next attack before he ducked as Geoff tried to strike him with his ax before Gewuji immediately blocked the knife with her sais as Kai moved away from Krux while blocking the Time Blade as Blake blocked another strike from Acronix as the others ran up to them before Cole jumped into the air and slammed his scythe into the ground, knocking everyone down. As the Ninja circle around the Time Twins, they quickly grab hold of Lloyd and Blake's legs, with Krux holding Lloyd while Acronix held Blake, and swung around, making them hit their own teammates before throwing them aside. Blake quickly got up and held his hands out, only managing to blow Krux away before Acronix prepared to strike him, but Blake crossed his tonfa to block it. "Where is he, you son of a bitch!" He yelled before forcing the tonfa up, knocking Acronix back as Krux came up next to him while Blake got up and Kai goes to charge from behind, but Krux quickly knocked him back and turn to Geoff.

As Krux went over to him, the others surround Acronix in a circle before Krux prepared to strike Geoff. "Not my brother!" Gewuji yelled as she soon threw one of her sais at Krux. The blade goes through his arm, causing him to scream before Lloyd jumped at him.

"Kai!" He yelled.

Kai quickly throws the Slow Time Blade as Krux pulled the sai out of his arm and threw it aside as Lloyd caught the Time Blade and they both hold them up. They jump in the air as they charge at each other before both Time Blade immediately clash, creating a shockwave. "Yield, boy." Krux said. "Ninjago shall be ours."

"No. I won't give up!" Lloyd immediately forced Krux off the ground to make him spin around before throwing him back and knelt down, exhausted.

Krux flies toward Acronix, who is clashing weapons with Geoff and ends up landing on him. "Thanks very much." Geoff said, sarcastically as he took the Forward Time Blade and held it up as Acronix forced his older brother off.

"You have no idea how that thing works, Sanders." He said. "You're just like your father, always wanting the glory."

"I am nothing like my father."

"Then prove it!" He soon charges at Geoff.

"Let's do the time warp." Geoff immediately held the Time Blade up and disappeared as Acronix went to stab where Geoff was, but he was gone before he reappears on the left. "It's just a jump to the left." Acronix quickly turned to try and slash at him, only for Geoff to disappear again and reappear on his right. "And then a step to the right."

"What are you gonna do next? Put your hands on your hips, bring your knees in tight and thrust your pelvis?"

"No. It'll make me look like I've been driven insane." He soon charged at Acronix and strikes the knife, breaking it off the handle before kicking him into Krux, who was getting up, and knocked him down as he fell as well while Geoff ran over to the others and hands Lloyd the Forward Time Blade as they all cheer.

"Sorry, but it's gonna be pretty hard to control Ninjago when you have absolutely none of the Time Blades." He said as the Time Twins were slowly getting up.

They keep cheering as Lloyd held both Time Blades up and turned to the others as they cheer. "Do not be blinded by pride, Ninja." Dragon said as Tania held him. "Now is the time for the greatest vigilance."

Machia soon flies up to the temple and looks down at the cheering Ninja. "Ninja, look out." Dragon and Tania called out.

But it was too late as Machia flew down, caught both Time Blades from Lloyd's hands and landed in front of the Time Twins. "Oh, no." Maggie said.

"Oh, yes." Machia sarcastically replied as they try to run at her, but Machia holds out the Slow Time Blade, creating a time bubble around the Ninja, slowing them down. "As I promised, the Time Blades are yours to keep."

"Indeed." Acronix said before looking at Dragon as he came up to the time bubble. "And let's also take him."

"Perfectly executed, Machia." Krux said as a rope ladder from a ship above them came down and Machia forces Dragon forward.

"Oh no, you don't!" Tania yelled, holding Leo as she ran at them.

"Oh yes, we do." Machia said, moving the Forward Time Blade out at Tania, hitting her and causing her to glow green as she was knocked back.

"Mom!" Geoff said in slow motion due to the time bubble.

"Let the bitch suffer." Krux said as Acronix started climbing up the ladder. "Forward. We are wasting precious time." Krux was next as Machia forces Dragon to go next before climbing up herself.

"Thank you for your hospitality." She sarcastically said to the Ninja, sarcastically as the ship took off.

"Dragon!" Misako yelled as she came out. "No!" Machia looks down and smugged as she held Dragon before pulling him up and Misako threw the frying pan to try and hit the ship, but Machia uses the Slow Time Blade to block it. "Be strong, Dragon. It isn't over."

The time bubble dispersed and the Ninja, except for Kai and Geoff, fall down before getting up as Kai turned to the ship as it left and Geoff went over to Tania. "All that fighting...just so we could end up losing everything." Kai said as he watched it leave. "Master Wu, both Time Blades."

"The Destiny's Bounty." Cole replied as Blake went over to the edge.

"And our temple." Maggie said as she looked at the damages to the temple.

"They beat us." Nya replied.

"They won." Jay said.

"Even Samurai X has been destroyed." Zane replied as Blake looked at the burning wreckage of his former mech.

"Maybe not." He said to himself.

"They didn't win." Lloyd called out as everyone turned to him while removing their hoods. "We lost, because we got overconfident. We've got to regroup. They're gonna pay." He kicks a nearby helmet. "Damn it!"

It lands near Kai, who looks inside it and sees the symbol. "The marking..." He said to himself before remembering something.

10 Years Earlier

11 year old Kai watches James place something on a hot blade before moving it to a bucket of water, allowing it to cool off before bring it out to show the blade is complete before Kai looked at what James had put on. It was the lion symbol. "Now, Kai, your father taught me this: 'A blacksmith puts his stamp on everything he makes.'" James said as he placed the blade on the table and they look at the gong, showing Ray's symbol. "This one is your father's symbol. And as you saw on Leo and the blade I had just done, mine is the lion. I'm sure he'll be very proud of me, and you, wherever he is."

Present

Kai gasped as he remembered before taking off his glove to look at his burn scar. Although it wasn't the same as the symbol in the helmet, the lion symbol was James', while the symbol in the helmet was the same as the gong in his blacksmith shop as Nya came up to him. "This changes everything." He said as the others came up to him, with Geoff helping Tania, who is slowly moving, almost feeling the same effects as Dragon.
