I got this idea for a story when I've read some Danny x Ember fanfic's, and they inspired me to write my very own fanfic about it.

In this story, which will follow the same episodes of the show, Ember will appear from the beginning, and is a good person instead of evil and helps Danny and his friends defending Amity Park from the evil ghosts. It'll also include some plot twists, including that Danny is also into making music and plays an electronic guitar. Maybe I'll ad a few alternate pairings in it (but that'll depend on how the story develops) and some extra episodes for character development, the growing relationship between Danny and Ember, and growing friendship between Ember and Danny's friends, Sam and Tucker. I may put a few other character traits in for Danny's personality, but he'll remain mostly the same. So sit back, and enjoy the wonderful tales of 'The Flame and the Phantom'.

Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom, nor any of the characters. All rights go to Nickelodeon and the awesome creator of the show, Butch Hartmen. I also don't own any of the songs that I'm gonna use in my story.

THE FLAME AND THE PHANTOM in:

MYSTERY MEAT

Amity Park, a moderately large urban city, that lies somewhere in the central of the United States. All the people out there, you would see as normal ordinary citizens. However, there were a few people that were anything but normal in this city. I'm talking about the Fenton Family.

Well, two of them are considered weird, that's what the other citizens of Amity Park believe. Jack Fenton, and his wife, Maddie. They own their own business called 'Fenton Works', what was also their house. And what is their business you might ask? Hunting ghosts.

Despite that everybody thought they were crazy, cause they knew that there is no such thing as ghosts. But Jack had always believed that ghosts DO exists, and his wife Maddie shares her husbands believes.

Jack and Maddie have two kids. Their sixteen year old daughter, Jasmine (Jazz), and their fourteen year old son, Danny. Both of them had no real interest in their parents obsession with ghosts. But there were moments that Danny became a bit interested to what his parents were up to. One of these moments were when his folks had build a Ghost-Portal, that would lead them to 'The Ghost Zone', a place where all the ghosts live. When his parents wanted to test it out, it didn't work. So, when Jack and Maddie left their lab in disappointment, Danny's curiosity made him to look in the portal to see what was wrong. That let to a terrible accident, an accident that gave him powers, the power to become a ghost. A phantom.

Being afraid what kind of experiments his parents would do to him if they had known he was now a half ghost, made him to keep it a secret, but was hard for Danny since he had not yet learned how to control his new powers. But oddly, his parents seems to not even realize or suspect that something different has changed about their son.

Then, a month after Danny's accident, Jack Fenton had brought Danny to the laboratory downstairs. He also brought Danny's best friends along with him, who were at the Fenton's residence at that time.

The first one, the black haired girl, Sam Manson, is a self-proclaimed goth who is fascinated with the subliminal and netherworldly, and is a very outspoken ultra-recyclo-vegetarian.

And there you have the afro-american boy, Tucker Foley, who is a huge techno-obsessed person.

They were Danny's best friends since second grade, and were the only two people that Danny could trusts with his secret of being a half-ghost. In fact, Sam had witnessed Danny's accident and transformation.

Jack let the three teenagers sit on a chair. As soon as Danny did, a small thin blue mist suddenly escapes his mouth 'There it is again' Danny mentally says as looks around to see what was causing it. The so called 'Ghost sense' always warned him when ghosts were near. But this smaller version of the Ghost sense always felt different for Danny, more peaceful to him. He had sensed this presence, ever since he became a half-ghost, a month ago and wandered what it was or what it could mean. Was there another ghost around, or was it something else? But either way, he felt okay with it somehow. He gave up on looking around what was causing his 'peaceful ghost sense' to go off, and just looks at his father.

At that very moment, a teenage ghost girl's invisible head intangibly peaked out from the ceiling and looks down at Danny, Sam, Tucker and Jack Fenton, watching with curiosity what was going on 'Hmmm. I wander what Danny's father is up to this time?' she mentally asks herself.

Jack looked at his son and his friends with a smile and asked "So, Danny… you and your little friends want to hunt ghosts?" Danny started saying by correcting his father what he really wanted to do with his life "Uh, actually, Dad? I want to be an astronaut. Or a rock-star, if NASA doesn't work out". Danny had been playing the electric guitar ever since he became a teenager and thought of becoming a rock-star, if a career at NASA was a no go.

Sam had been crossing her arms the whole time and said that she wasn't into ghosts anymore these days "Sorry, Mr. Fenton. I was into ghosts, but they're so mainstream now. They're like cellphones".

Tucker was also unsure as he didn't wanted to sacrifice his 'good looks' or charisma in ghost hunting "Waste these looks and all this charisma hunting ghosts? Criminal".

Jack understood, but did wanted to give them a few tips, if they ever changed their minds "Well, if you do want to hunt ghosts, there are a few things you need to learn" he says before turning to a table behind him with laboratory equipment and beakers on it.

Just then, a bigger blue mist comes out of Danny's mouth, warning him of danger. Ghosts! "Oh no. This isn't good" Danny said to himself as he looked around. Then the door of the Ghost-portal, leading to the 'Ghost-zone', suddenly opened, with two ectopuses coming out of it, growling as they floated in the air. Both Sam and Tucker gasped but are grabbed by the two extopuses before they could warn Danny's father, who didn't notice and was too busy "True, I've never seen a ghost, but when I do, I'll be prepared. And so will you. Whether you want to be or not" Jack said as he was confident he will be prepared if he EVER will encounter a real ghost, and his son.

Danny had to do something, as those two ectopuses still had his friends.

The teenage ghost girl growled in annoyance as how stupid Danny's father was, not even realizing that there were TWO GHOSTS in the laboratory. Well technically three, if she counted herself.

Danny gets determined as he jumps on the ectopuses while transforming into his ghost form, while his father was still messing with the various items on the lab table and kept talking while Danny was fighting the two ghosts "It all starts with you equipment" he says has he holds up a thermos, while a ectopus flies through the room and Sam and Tucker flung back into their chairs. Jack gives them the thermos to them "Sam, Tucker, this is the Fenton Thermos. It's supposed to trap ghosts, but since it doesn't work yet it's just a thermos" and turns back to the lab table, as the other ectopus is being his ass kicked by Danny and sends him flying through the room, Jack said about the Fenton Thermos "A thermos with the word 'Fenton' in front of it".

The two defeated ectopuses felt dizzy after being their asses kicked, and flew back into the portal before Danny could do any more harm to them. Danny quickly transformed back to his human form as the portal closed.

The teenage ghost girl was impressed of how much Danny had improved in using his powers better over the course of one month, though she felt that he still needed a bit more practice, and training.

Jack then walked to the closed Ghost-Portal and said "And that? That is the Fenton Portal. It releases ghosts into our world whether I want it to or not. And someday, I'll figure out how that works" he taps on the door as he spoke his last sentence.

He then turns around walks towards Sam and Tucker asking "Now, who wants to hunt some ghosts?" but Sam and Tucker were trembling so much of the sudden ghost attack, that they couldn't speak, while Danny putting his hand on the back of Tucker's chair and panted of the fighting.

Jack thought they were to exited to speak so said with a smile "You kids, look at you! You're too excited to speak! So I'll just go on speaking" he turns himself and told his life story. Both Sam and Tucker looked at Danny who hangs his head of hearing his father's life story, again.

The teenage ghost girl wasn't in the mood as well in hearing that story again either, and disappeared through the ceiling.

That same evening, Danny went to his room and let himself fall onto his bed. He stared at the ceiling, what had a few posters of his favorite rock bands on it, like LINKIN PARK and RADIOHEAD. He was feeling troubled cause of his ghost powers. Should he tell his parents about the accident, or not?

As he tried to figure out what was the best thing to do, he started to imagine himself being an astronaut, walking on the moon's surface and once he had returned to earth, he was hailed as a hero by many and being embraced by his young hot wife. Then he imagined himself playing electric guitar in a rock band, in front of thousands of young women, who cheered and screamed his name as his music was so wonderful.

Danny was so lost into his imagination, that he felt like his arm was vanishing into the bed. He looked at his right arm, that had turned intangible on his own. Danny tried to focus hard on turning it back to normal, but it didn't work, so he shake his arm like crazy out of frustration "Argh! Dammit!".

Finally, after numerous failed attempts, his arm returned to normal. He sighed deep as he rubbed his face "Geez. One month and I still cannot control these powers" he said to himself.

He took a moment to calm himself, what didn't work. So Danny went to do something that'll distract him from his 'ghost problems', playing some music on his guitar.

As he stood up from his bed to collect his silver colored electric guitar, the same small blue mist came from his mouth, giving him that same peaceful feeling again. He looked around for a moment, and felt somehow that someone was watching him, like it was his little audience. The thought of that gave him a smile as he put the plug from his guitar to his speaker.

The teenage ghost girl peeked from a wall to him while being intangible. She phrased inside the room and sat somewhere, while still being invisible, watching Danny going to play some music.

After adjusting the strings on his guitar, Danny played a slow romantic song. The ghost girl listened to every note, what sounded beautiful in her ears. Danny tried to sing a bit about the girl at school he has a crush on.

Paulina… oh, Paulina…

Paulina… oh, Paulina…

You make my life so….

Danny just stopped and deeply signed to himself saying "Who am I kidding? Paulina would never fall for a guy like me. She's only into football players and guys with money, not some nerd with a guitar".

The ghost girl felt sorry for him. She hesitated first, but slowly floated next to him and carefully put her hand on his shoulder. Danny could feel this odd feeling of someone touching his shoulder, but it didn't scare him, like a month ago. It more felt like… someone was feeling sorry for him and wanted to give him comfort. This puts a little smile back on Danny's face.

He then felt more confident as he changed the tune on his guitar and played the song he had been working on for a few weeks.

(Short notice; it's the theme song of the Danny Phantom show).

Danny had thought of some lines for this song, but nearly every style he used for, it didn't suited well for the song.

As he stopped playing for a moment to think. He then thought about the song from the band Queen, 'The Invisible Man'. Danny then knew what to sing "Wait, that's it!".

He started to play again and sang.

He's a phantom…

Danny Phantom… Danny Phantom…

Young Danny Phantom, he was just fourteen, when his parents built a very strange machine. It was designed to view, a world unseen.

(He's gonna catch em all' cause he's Danny Phantom)

When it didn't work, his folks, they just quit, but then Danny took a look inside of it, there was a great big flash, everything just changed, his molecules got rearranged!

(Phantom, Phantom)

When he first woke up, he realized, he had snow white hair, and glowin' green eyes. He could walk through, disappear, and fly. He was much more unique than the other guys.

And it was then that he knew what he had to do, he had to stop all the ghosts that were coming' through, he's here to fight, for me and you!

He's gonna catch 'em all, cause he's Danny Phantom,

Gonna catch 'em all, cause he's Danny Phantom,

Gonna catch 'em all, cause he's…

Danny Phantom…!

The ghost girl liked the song so much that she accidentally clapped, surprising Danny as he stood up from his bed and looked around, making the ghost girl a but scared and quickly flew behind a wall, but kept her head out to watch Danny.

Danny kept looking around him "Hello? Is somebody here?".

The ghost girl wasn't sure if she wanted to show herself to him, being afraid he might freak out.

Danny hoped that whoever was with him would show up.

After some minutes of not getting any answer, he signed deep and put his guitar back "Well, whoever you are, thank you… for liking my music" Danny said to this 'presence' that he felt was with him and liked his music, giving him a smile.

The ghost girl became intangible and flew out of his room. She flew all the way till she was at an abandoned warehouse in the docks, what served as her hideout. Once she phased through the wall and entered her selfmade bedroom, she made herself visible again. She had pale-white skin and long, flaming teal hair that was robin's egg blue pulled back into a ponytail at the top of her head. She had green eyes, wear purple lipstick and her own signature gothic make-up at the corner of her eyes. Her outfit was like what you called, 80's gothic rock style, but attractive and appealing in nature, consisting of a black choker around her neck, a black one-shouldered crop-top, one long glove that covered most of her right arm, and one black bracelet on her left arm. She also wears a pair of black leather pants with a silver belt and skull boots.

The ghost girl started to rub her arms as she felt cold. So she concentrated hard, making her blue hair more flared up to warm herself, as she could control the temperature of her hair in order to use it to defend herself, or in this case, warming herself up.

She sat down at the old couch that she found and opened up a little bag with food that she 'borrowed'. Well, technically she stole it, cause she didn't had any money and couldn't just walk into a store as she was a ghost and people would freak out if they saw her.

As she eating some cold sandwiches with cheese, she sighed deep to herself. She has been in the human world for a month now and was now starting to feel more lonely here then where she came from. In the Ghost-zone, she was at least among her fellow ghosts, but when she arrived in the human world, she couldn't appear in the open, especially not with Danny's parents out there, hunting for ghosts. Luckily they were not really that smart, so she didn't had to worry too much of getting eventually caught.

When she finished her food, she took her violet guitar with greenish-blue flames and played a bit on it as she thought of Danny's music 'That dipstick sure can make some good music. It's nice to know a fellow musician around here' she mentally said to herself with a smile, but sighed again as she felt a bit down "Maybe I should reveal myself to him? He didn't seem to be afraid when I was 'near' him, right?".

She used her ghostly powers to pick a can of soda from her small fridge and drank as she lied down on the couch with her guitar still in hand. She became a bit frustrated of why she was so afraid to reveal herself to Danny "What is wrong with me? I've never been so shy before to anyone. I should have showed myself to him sooner, he would have understand, right? But… what if he'll freak out, and starts attacking me?". She sighed deep as she threw away her empty soda can, and played a small sad song on her guitar.

The next morning, at Fenton Works…

Maddie was in the kitchen, busy with her new invention. She puts on the hood of her blue jumpsuit and does some final adjustments using a blowtorch on it. Danny and Jazz were both at the table, sitting next to each other. While Danny was just eating his cereal, without paying attention to whatever his mom was making, Jazz glanced up from a book she was reading to her mom with annoyance, before going back to reading, trying to ignore her mom.

As Danny was about to take his next bite of cereal, his hand all of the sudden disappeared, making his spoon drop through his intangible hand. He gasps before looking down at his missing hand, upon realizing his hand was invisible, Danny freaks out and quickly hides his hand under the table.

"Okay, two more days, and… it's done!" Maddie says as she turns off the torch. Her husband, Jack comes to the kitchen with excitement "What did you say? It's done?" he grabs the invention and holds it dramatically in front of him "The Fenton Finder is done! This baby uses satellites to lead you right to the ghosts" "It uses what to track what?" Danny asks nervously as this new invention from his parents could track down ghosts, what would mean it would locate, him!

A peeping voice came from the Fenton Finder, saying "Welcome to the Fenton Finder. A ghost is near. Walk forward" Danny walks back away from the invention while his parents move closer towards him, making the invention beeping louder and faster the closer they get. Maddie became exited as they were about to find their very first ghost. Danny was backed to a wall as Maddie and a confused Jack stand in front of Danny with the Fenton Finder "Ghost located. Thank you for using the Fenton Finder" Danny gave them a weak smile "What? Oh, that can't be right" Jack said with confusion to his wife, while Danny's whole body suddenly turns invisible. He looks at himself terrified, but manages to return to normal quickly before his parents or his sister could see him like that.

Danny gives a look of defeat, and was about to tell them about 'the accident' from a month ago "Actually… I need to tell you guys something". Jack and Maddie look at their son, listening to what he had to say. But then Jazz put her book down and said while walking over to where her parents and her brother were standing "That s not all you need, Danny. You need guidance, and parents who can provide it" Maddie understood that what she and her husband were doing is weird, but tried to tell Jazz that they knew how to handle this "Sweetie, I know what we do doesn't make sense sometimes, but you're only-" "Sixteen. Biologically! But psychologically, I'm an adult! And I will not allow your insane obsession with ghosts to pollute the mind of this impressionable little child!" Jazz said as she pulls Danny to her, holding him close. Danny rolled his eyes out of annoyance, but was also a little bit weirded out by how this conversation goes.

Jazz then walked, with Danny still in her arms, out of the house while glaring at her parents saying to her brother "Come, you abused, unwanted wretch. I'll drive you to school".

Maddie and Jack found it suspicious of what Jazz was doing "Huh. That's weird. Jasmine never offers to drive Danny to school" Maddie says to Jack "That can only mean one thing," Jack says as he shares his wife's suspicion "that's not our daughter. That's a ghost" Jack finished while glaring at Jazz. But then all of the sudden, the Fenton Finder gave another beeping sound "Warning. Another ghost detected, right in front of you". Jack looks surprised at the Fenton Finder and sees on the screen that at Danny and Jazz location, where they entered the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle, was not one, but two ghosts now!

"What? Two ghosts?!" Jack then starts to freak out "Maddie! This is worse than we thought! Our daughter is not possessed by one, but two ghosts!" Jack runs after Danny and Jazz "Danny, stop! It's a trap!" Maddie ran after him, but both were too late, as Jazz drove with the vehicle out of sight.

What Jack and Maddie didn't know, is that a certain teenage ghost girl was flying right above the Fenton Assault Vehicle, with her violet guitar around her shoulder.

Inside the Fenton's RV, Danny's peaceful ghost sense goes off. He looked through his window and inside the RV, hoping to finally see the 'peaceful presence' that was making it, but didn't saw the 'thing', again "Are you looking for something, Danny?" Jazz asked confused of why Danny was looking around their parent's vehicle "Ehh… no, I just…. Never mind" he said as he just dropped the subject and crossed his arms in disappointment.

"Look, Jazz, you really don't have to drive me to school. I can walk myself, you know?" Danny stated to his sister that he could take care of himself. Jazz smiles to him and advised as the 'intelligent sister' she is "Don't be so silly, Danny. I'm here to make sure that you will turn out just fine, and not being manipulated into mom and dad's unhealthy believes. It's important for you to find what your good at, like playing your guitar for example! I have noticed you have become really good at it since you started playing it, two years ago. I know that you want to become an astronaut when you grow up, but I am proud of you that you at least had found something as a back-up plan! It's… maybe just an idea, but I think it would be an amazing plan that you should form a band, you know, to develop your music skills even more! And I'm sure that-" she stops as she looks at Danny and was listening to loud music of the band KISS, using his headset, while he pretended he played the electric guitar.

I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day!

I wanna rock and roll all night…!

Jazz rolls her eyes as she gave up and remained focused on traffic.

The Ghost girl, who was invisible and flew next to the vehicle, had seen what Danny was doing, trying to ignore his sister's by playing loud music. The way Danny was pretending playing guitar made her giggle.

Some time later, at Casper High School. Danny, Sam and Tucker walked together through the hallway before going up a flight of stairs for their next class.

"I think I should tell them" Danny said as they went up the stairs, thinking that he should tell his parents about his ghost powers "Why? Parents don't listen," Sam said as they stopped midway up the stairs "even worse, they don't understand! WHY CAN'T THEY ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM?!" Sam yelled as her parents don't accept her for who she is. Tucker looked weird at her as Danny reminded her that he was talking about his own problem "Sam, I'm talking about my powers, my problems?" "Oh, right. Me too" Sam said embarrassed.

Danny signs as he folds his arms "It's been a month since the accident and I still have barely any control if somebody catches me," his worries made him sinking into the floor while Sam and Tucker watch "I go from geek to freak around here!" "Kinda like what you're doing right now?" Tucker asks while raising an eyebrow. Danny then suddenly realizes that his lower half became intangible causing him to sink and yelps. Sam and Tucker try to help him out, but Danny was stuck "What the hell?" Tucker asked "Guys, I'm stuck!" Danny said nearly panicked "We know!" Sam said as she tried to pull harder.

The ghost girl then peeked her head intangibly her head from a wall while still invisible, seeing Danny had sank in the floor and now was stuck "Oh boy. I better help him" She said quietly as phased down the floor to help him. Danny felt that peaceful ghost sense going off, as the ghost girl pushed Danny's feet up. Once he was out, his feet and lower half returned to normal, just in time before some students would notice.

Danny had felt that it was the same 'presence' had helped him and felt happy about it, but it still didn't fix his frustration of not being able to control his powers "Damn it! If my dad can invent something that accidentally made me half-ghost, then why can't he invent something that turns me back to normal?!" Danny said while walking up the stairs, became intangible cause of his emotions and walks through a snack machine without paying attention.

Sam ran after Danny and told him, as he returned to normal "Danny, you powers make you unique. Unique is good! That's why I'm an ultra recyclo-vegetarian".

The ghost girl had followed them and didn't really understand what recyclo-vegetarian meant, neither did Tucker, who asked as he joined the other two "Which means what?" "She doesn't eat anything with a face on it" Danny corrected his friend.

The ghost girl raised an eyebrow as it sounded like Sam was a vegetarian, but what did recycling had to do with it?

Tucker didn't care about that stuff "Oh, who cares about that stuff? Danny, two words: Meat connoisseur" he explains that he loves meat. He then sniffs and tells Danny "Last night, you had Sloppy Joes" "Impressive" Danny said. Tucker nodded "Meat heightens the sense, and my all-meat streak is fourteen years strong" "…And it's about to end," Sam said "the school board finally agreed to try a new cafeteria menu. I wore them down".

This surprised Tucker, and then he frowned at Sam "Wait… What did you do?" Sam smirked as they walked further "You'll see".

A few hours later, at the Casper High cafeteria…

A big banner above the lunch counter was hanged saying 'This week: Ultra Recyclo-Vegetarian'. Sam, Tucker and Danny were in line for lunch. Danny looked surprised as he was served what looked like grass on bread "What is this? Grass on a bun?" Tucker was shocked by the change of the menu that Sam proposed, as there NO MORE MEAT, AT ALL! He dramatically said to Sam "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!". Sam just smiled as she holds the 'grass on a bun' in her hand "Tucker. It's time for a change".

The ghost girl phrased through a wall, as she entered the cafeteria and took a 'grass on a bun' herself and flew up the ceiling, while nobody was looking. Once she phrased up and was on the school's roof, she turned tangible and asked herself as she sat down with what was according to Sam, recyclable organic matter in her hand "Grass on a bun? How do they come up with these things?". She looked around to be sure if she was alone. She looked at the grass on a bun for a moment, and took a bite. She took her time to see how it tasted. She shrugged "Huh, not bad at all…" and took another bite. The ghost girl began actually to like this recyclo-vegetarian food.

Meanwhile, at Fenton Works…

The ghost portal was wide open, as an elderly female ghost dressed in a lunch lady garb walks out of the portal. She looks around and could sense that a menu was changed somewhere "Ooh! Somebody changed the menu!". The Lunch Lady flew up and phases through the basement's ceiling while Maddie and Jack were working on another invention, not even noticing the ghost at all.

Maddie was doubting if they should go through with this "Maybe this is a bad idea" "No it's perfect. When Jazz gets home we suck the ghosts out of her with a Fenton Xtractor" Jack says confident as he made a pose with the Fenton Xtractor, what more looked like a vacuum cleaner "But what if Jazz isn't possessed by ghost? What if we accidentally hurt her?" Maddie tells worried that maybe they could hurt their daughter, if she ISN'T possessed by a ghost, or what Jack claims, two ghosts.

Jack ensured her that nothing bad will happen to Jazz "Maddie, the Fenton Xtractor doesn't hurt humans… unless it gets in your hair…" Jack turned it on and the Fenton Xtractor rips most of his hair out, making him scream "AAAAAH! …See?" he finished with an ensuring smile.

Back with Danny and his friends in the school cafeteria…

Danny has some of the 'grass on a bun', what was turfwich, on his spoon and seems to doubt to eat it or not "Don't you think this is a little extreme, Sam?" he asks Sam, who smiles before someone puts a hand on her shoulder. She turns around and sees it's the vice-principal, Mr. Lancer "Ah, Miss Manson. The school board wanted me to personally thank you for ushering in this welcome experiment to our cafeteria" he thanked her on behave of the school board, making Sam smile with pride.

Tucker however sniffs frantically in the air, smelling meat "Meat. Near" he sniffs that the smell comes from Lancer. The man backs away with his hands waving "No, no. The rumors about the new all-steak buffet in the teacher's lounge are completely untrue" "We didn't asked you that, Mr. Lancer" Danny fires back as neither of them had asked him about the rumored all-steak buffet in the teacher's lounge. Mr. Lancer started to sweat as he just walked away "Uhh…. Good day, children! Thanks again, Miss Manson".

Tucker glares at Sam "Yeah, thanks again for making us eat garbage, Sam" Sam didn't like that Tucker calls recyclo-vegetarian food, garbage "It's not garbage. It's recyclable organic matter".

"It's garbage" both Danny and Tucker said simultaneously.

Meanwhile on the school's roof, the ghost girl had finished her 'Grass on a bun', as she then all of the sudden sees the Lunch Lady descending down on the school and phrases through the roof "The Lunch Lady? What is she doing here?" then the ghost girl rolled her eyes as obviously Danny's father had left the ghost portal opened "Of course, Jack Fenton left the portal open, again!" She then turns intangible to follow her "Better check what she's up too" the ghost girl says before phrases down the school roof.

The school's lunch lady, behind the counter, gave a shifty-eyed glance around before pulling a hamburger out of her pocket and sneaks away in order to eat it.

Then the Ghost Lunch Lady phases through the ceiling and looks at the 'Ultra Recyclo Veggie Lunch Menu' and glares at it.

The Ghost girl phrased through a wall, entering the school's cafeteria, but remained invisible as she looks around where The Lunch Lady had gone too. Then she sees Danny and his friends at one of the tables. She approached them carefully, still being invisible.

Danny, who still held the spoonful of 'Grass on a bun' feels his peaceful ghost sense going off again. He looked at his friends and felt he had to tell them about his ghost sense, and the peaceful one "You know guys. There's another thing I need to tell" Just as he was about to tell Sam and Tucker what he wanted to tell, a handful of mud suddenly lands on Danny's head "FENTON!".

Danny turns himself to see who yelled his name. He frowns as it was no other than Dash Baxter, captain of the school's football team and the biggest bully around "Speak of the devil" Danny says as Dash storms over to him with a plate of mud in his hands.

The ghost girl quietly said to herself "Ugh! If there is one thing I hate in this world, it's bullies"

Dash angrily says "I ordered three mud pies. Do you know what they gave me? Three mud pies! With mud! From the ground! All because of your girlfriend".

"She's not my girlfriend!" Danny says.

"I'm not his girlfriend!" Sam says.

Dash grabs Danny by his shirt and lifts him a few inches off the ground while saying "These are the best years of my life! After high school, it's all downhill for me! How am I supposed to enjoy my glory days eating MUD?!".

That Dash knows that his life is going downhill after high school, made the ghost girl chuckle.

"Actually, it's topsoil" Sam corrected Dash that it was not mud, but 'topsoil' "Whatever!" Dash says as he tosses Danny back at the table.

As Danny is able to sit straight after landing on the bench, Dash moves shoves the plate of mud towards Danny's face "Eat it. All of it". The ghost girl glared at Dash for humiliating Danny like that.

Seeing that it was pointless to back away from this, Danny seemed to go through with eating the topsoil. But as he was about to take a bite, his warning ghost sense goes off and sees the Lunch Lady floating behind the lunch counter. Danny had to think of something quick to go after the ghost "Uh… uh…" he glances down at the plate and picks it up "GARBAGE FIGHT!" as Danny tosses the plate with 'topsoil' in Dash's face, the other students join in, throwing food around as chaos ensues. The ghost girl looks around and was impressed with what Danny tried to do to create as a distraction.

Sam peeks out from behind a table, being frustrated that people still called it garbage "It's not garbage! It's-" Just then, Danny's hand suddenly grabs Sam and pulls her back down towards the floor. He held his finger on his mouth that they should be quiet and signaled her and Tucker to follow him. As the trio crawled away from the cafeteria, Danny turns his head for a moment to look behind him, seeing Dash very angry at him while the garbage fight continues "You're gonna pay for this, Fenton!" then Dash is hit on the head, twice with mud. Danny rolled his eyes "Great. I'm still his favorite".

The trio manages to crawl to the cafeteria door, with the ghost girl following them. Danny and Tucker peek their heads through the cafeteria door, to see the Lunch Lady Ghost, holding a bowl of salad, but was clearly looking for something else "Huh. Shouldn't be so bad. She looks a little like my grandmother" Tucker says as the Lunch Lady Ghost didn't look that scary, as he and the other two enter the kitchen "Shouldn't she be haunting a bingo hall?" Danny asked himself as Sam closed the door behind them, while the ghost girl phrased though the wall, joining the rest.

The Lunch Lady Ghost turns around at the sound and asked with her kind voice "Hello, children. Can you help me? Today's lunch is meatloaf, but I don't see the meatloaf. Did someone change the menu?" "Yeah. She did" Tucker answers while pointing his thump to Sam.

"YOU CHANGED THE MENU?!" The Lunch Lady yells as her hair flaming on end and her eyes flashing red, making the trio gasp. The ghost girl glared at Tucker as he shouldn't have said that, as the Lunch Lady was now furious "THE MENU HAS BEEN THE SAME FOR FIFTY YEARS!" the Lunch Lady Ghost yells as green flames surround her and appear circling above her head.

"Get behind me!" Danny said to Sam and Tucker. Both promptly did "Wow. I feel safe" Sam said sarcastically.

"I'm going ghost!" Danny says as he transform into his ghost form, as a bluish-white ring appeared around his waist, as it split into two rings, one going up Danny's body and the other going down. His normal t-shirt, jeans and sneakers turned into his black hazmat suit with white gloves, white boots and a white belt. His raven black hair turned snow-white and his bright blue eyes became green.

Danny floats up towards the enraged Lunch Lady. The ghost girl watched as what Danny was about to do to stop the evil ghost. He felt a bit unsure of himself and just said "I command you to… go away!". The ghost girl slapped her head as how stupid that move was.

The Lunch Lady causes many piles and dishes to float around, before shooting them at Danny. He closes his eyes tight, making himself intangible, causing the dishes to pass right through him before hitting the wall behind him. When he returns to normal, he smiles at his accomplishment of not being hit. But a lot heading right for Sam, what Danny sees and flies in front of her to catch the dishes with his hands and arms. The ghost girl was feeling that she should help, but was still feeling afraid of how Danny and his friends would respond to her when she shows herself.

The Lunch Lady uses her powers to send even more dishes flying, now heading towards Tucker. Danny catches these dishes in time as well and now held stacks of plates and dishes on his arms. He flies off to put the dishes back on the counter, leaving a few in his mouth. He removes them and stares at his reflection for a moment "Hope that this superhero thing will work out, otherwise it'll be off to become a busboy" he says to himself, but saw in his reflection in the plates, that the stoves behind him began to move around. He turns around as he frowns to the Lunch Lady.

'Come on, Danny. I know you can do it!' the ghost girl said to Danny in her thoughts, begging him to show that he can do it.

"I control lunch! Lunch is sacred! Lunch has rules!" the Lunch Lady stated in fury how sacred lunch is to her. But then suddenly changes back to calm and asks Sam and Tucker "Anybody want cake?" Sam and Tucker nod their heads in shock "TOO BAD!" the Lunch Lady yelled as she went back to angry "Children who change MY menu do not get dessert!".

The Lunch Lady Ghost then phases up out through the ceiling while the three stoves begin to emit green flames. The green flames fire out of the ovens towards Sam and Tucker, who dodged it just in time. The three stoves look angry and fly at Sam and Tucker, who flinch! Danny flies up behind them quickly and grabs their shoulders, making himself and his friends intangible. He then quickly flies them through the wall out of the kitchen, as the stoves hit and crack the wall where the trio just flew through!

The ghost girl had enough of this, as she could no longer just stand by and watch "Alright, that does it!" she angrily says as her hair fired up when she took out her guitar and phases through the ceiling, going after the Lunch Lady Ghost.

Danny and his two friends turned tangible again as they flew through the wall and rolled into the middle of a hallway. They look behind them in shock, but Danny was amazed as he was able to save Sam and Tucker just in time "Hey! It worked!". Sam then gets irritated "This is the thanks I get for thinking like an individual?".

A loud crash is then suddenly heard and Tucker and Danny turn to look for the cause. The hallway begins to shack violently and the lights go out. All look worried, but became shocked as all the lockers burst open and a bunch of school supplies came flying out, and flew to the Lunch Lady, swirling around her. Then Tucker's eyes suddenly widen and sniffs the air as he could smell… MEAT! "Steak…! Rib-eye…! No, porterhouse! Medium-rare!".

The meat products began attacking themselves to the Lunch Lady's body until she was bigger and completely covered, with only showing her glowing green eyes "But where did it come from?" Tucker asked himself of where all that meat came from. Then he glares as he looks behind him "Lancer!", but then he got hit in the face by a piece of paper.

Just then in the Teacher's Lounge, Lancer was about to serve the 'rumored' all-steak buffet to the other teachers.

"Esteemed Casper High faculty. I present your all-steak buffet" Lancer then pulls of a tablecloth, covering the supposed buffet, but the meat is missing. All the present teachers gasp. Lancer realizes something's wrong and looks down at the table in shock. All that was left of the buffet was just one bone. Lancer slams his hands on the table "PARADISE LOST!".

Back with Danny and his friends. The meat-covered Lunch Lady towers over the trio and was ready to teach Sam a lesson for changing her menu "Prepare to learn why meat is the most powerful of the five food groups!" then she suddenly loses her rage and looks calm and innocent while saying "Cookie?" Sam shook her head that she doesn't want it. The Lunch Lady then goes back to evil mode and raises a clawed hand to attack Sam "Then perish!" "HEY, LUNCH LADY!" a sudden voice came from the hallway. Surprised, the Lunch Lady looked. Danny, Sam and Tucker looked behind them too and were shocked to see a pale teenage ghost girl, with strange gothic makeup at the corner of her eyes, firing up blue hair and a violet guitar in her hands, who looked fierce to the Lunch Lady "Why don't you pick on someone of your OWN size!?".

"What the…!? Another ghost?!" Tucker said in complete surprise. But Sam and Danny both seemed to recognize her from somewhere 'Wait a minute…. I've seen her before' Sam said mentally to herself. Danny's peaceful ghost sense went off again, and felt it came from this ghost girl. He then remembered a month ago, when he was regaining consciousness after turning into a half-ghost, that he saw a blurry image of a beautiful girl with long blue hair, remembering her asking him if he was alright, but then disappeared when Sam came to check on him.

'It's… it's her…. She was that presence!' Danny mentally said to himself.

The Lunch Lady growled and was about to deliver a punch of meat to the ghost girl, but she raised her guitar and hit the strings hard, releasing a pink shockwave, destroying the large meat hand of the Lunch Lady. Then the ghost girl hit some more strings and shot a powerful fist-shaped energy beam from her guitar to the Lunch Lady, hitting her straight on the chest, creating a huge hole.

Sam and Tucker were completely confused. Was this ghost girl helping them? "Why is she helping us? Who is that?" Tucker asked to the rest "I don't know, but I like her style" Danny said with a smirk as he then joined the fight, trying to deliver a punch on the meat covered Lunch Lady's face, but didn't work. The ghost girl tried to come to his aid, but the Lunch Lady recovered her lost meat hand and open chest, and slammed Danny back hard, hitting the ghost girl, making both fall back on the floor.

Then the Lunch Lady looked with fury to Sam as she was about to take her "Now it's time to perish!" Danny quickly stood up and slides in front of Sam to protect her "Forget it! the only think that has an expiration date here is you!" Danny says as he points at the Lunch Lady, but then accidentally reverts to his human self "Whoops! I didn't mean to do that" he was so distracted by it, that he didn't see the Lunch Lady was ready to grab him "Look out!" the ghost girl yelled to Danny, who looked back, but was too late to do anything as the Lunch Lady grabs him before sending him flying into Tucker, with both hitting the lockers behind them and a pile of papers covered them up. Then the Lunch Lady grabs Sam off the ground and flies off down the hallway, taking Sam with her.

The ghost girl wanted to go after the Lunch Lady, but heard something behind her and quickly phased through the floor below.

Danny and Tucker quickly removed the pile of paper off of them with Tucker saying that Danny needs to change back "Come on! Change back! We gotta go!" Danny nods and both were about to go after Sam, but then two hands suddenly grabbed both of them by their collars "You two aren't going anywhere". It was Lancer who raised them from the floor with an angry look. Dash, still covered in mud was standing behind Mr. Lancer, smirking in victory "Told ya you'd pay Fenton!".

Later, in Mr. Lancer's office…

Danny and Tucker both sat in chairs in front of Lancer's desk, who was sorting though some files in a file cabinet. Dash was there in the office too, leaning against the wall, looking pleased that Danny and Tucker are gonna get punished.

Lancer pulls out a file and reads it "Tucker Foley. Chronic tardiness, talking in class, repeated loitering by the girl's locker room" Tucker smiles slyly of him being caught of peeking in the girl's locker room.

Then Lancer read Danny's file "Danny Fenton. Thirty-four dropped beakers in the last month, banned for life from handling all fragile school property, but no severe mischief before today. So gentlemen, tell me…," Lancer slams the file on his desk and angrily yells "WHY DID THE TWO OF YOU CONSPIRE TO DESTROY THE SCHOOL'S CAFETERIA?!" Now Danny became angry as it was Dash who started it "It was Dash who started it! He threw-" "Four touchdown passes in the last game is thereby exempt from scorn" Lancer interrupted Danny that Dash won the last game with four touchdowns and is exempt from scorn, with Dash showing smug. Then Lancer went on saying "You two, however, are not. I'll map out your punishment when I return" Lancer then walks to the office doorway, saying to Dash "Mr. Baxter, watch the door" Lancer leaves and Dash smirks before closing the door.

Danny and Tucker stand up from their chairs "We gotta find Sam. For some reason, I feel like I got her kidnapped" Tucker says, feeling for some reason responsible for Sam being kidnapped. Danny frowned at Tucker and says "Maybe because you told the ghost she changed the menu? How about that?". Then his peaceful ghost sense went off, feeling that that ghost girl was nearby "Psst! Danny" both Danny and Tucker looked behind them, where the ghost girl phased through a wall and appeared before them "Hey, it's that ghost girl again" Tucker says. Danny walks to her and says "Hey, uh… thanks for helping us, back there" "You're welcome. But leave that for later, I know where your friend Sam is. The Lunch Lady took her down to the basement, where they keep all the meat". Tucker sniffs the air "She's right, Danny. That steak is still in the building. 200 yards, tops". Danny nods and changes to his ghost form "Follow me" the ghost girl says as she turns intangible. Danny nods and grabs Tucker's arm, turning them both intangible and phases down through the floor, following the ghost girl.

The office door opens and Dash and Lancer entered, carrying a broom "Gentlemen, your punishment will be-" Lancer said, but realizing that the boys are gone from the room he became furious "-WORSE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!".

The ghost girl phrased through the ceiling, entering the basement, with Danny and Tucker behind her. All turned tangible again. Tucker then sees all the stored meat in the basement and looks elated "Sweet mother of mutton!" and hugs the boxes of meat "I'd dreamed of it, but… I never thought I'd live to see it!". The ghost girl raised an eyebrow of how weird that looked, while Danny says "How is it that I have the ghost powers and you're the weird kid?".

Then all of the sudden, they could hear crackling nearby. Danny, Tucker and the ghost girl peer round the corner of a stack of boxes and see the Lunch Lady, who is floating in front of Sam who is trapped neck-deep in a large pile of meat. She tried to get herself out, but was stuck. The Lunch Lady tried to persuade her to eat some meat "My dear child… meat is good for kids! It helps them grow and makes them smile! Why won't you eat it?" she asked while offering Sam a chicken leg. Sam turned her head from her and said "We don't need meat. That's fact!". The Lunch Lady then reverts back to her evil mode, with wind blowing around her "SILENCE! You need discipline, manners, respect! You know where that comes from? MEAT!" the wind then stops as the Lunch Lady reverts to her kindly and innocent side, asking politely "Chicken? Or fish?".

Danny thought of a plan and said "Okay, this is what we'll do. Me and… uhh…. Sorry, I didn't catch your name yet?" Danny asked the ghost girl, not knowing her name yet "Oh. I'm Ember" she answered with a small smile "Please to meet you, Ember" Danny said polite. Tucker was a bit unsure, still confused of why this ghost girl named Ember was helping them "Yeah, I… guess…".

Then Danny told his plan "Me and Ember will take care of the ghost. Tucker, you just find a way to get Sam out of that pile of meat!" Tucker took a fork a knife, saying "Waaaay ahead of you".

Both Danny and Ember fly off to the Lunch Lady, while Danny was ready to deliver a punch, Ember held her guitar up to smack in the Lunch Lady's face. The Lunch Lady turned herself, but notices Danny and Ember to late, sending her flying backwards into a nearby wall before collapsing on the ground. Danny and Ember land in front of her, as she glared at both of them.

Sam was confused of seeing this ghost girl fighting alongside Danny. Then she looks at Tucker, who is cutting away pieces of the meat with his knife "I'll have you free in no time, Sam!" he said enthusiastic. She frowns in disbelief "You've gotta be kidding me".

Danny then jumps up and somersaults in the air before preparing to kick the Lunch Lady in the face, but she catches his foot in her hand right before he hits her. She growls "Don't you see? This is why you need meat! You're skin and bones!" she then tosses Danny away, sending him flying through the air to another wall, but turns intangible in time before hitting it, making him phasing halfway through. Ember got angry of that, making her blue hair flared up and struck the strings of her guitar hard, launching a flame attack on the Lunch Lady. The Lunch Lady ghost quickly reacted as she summons a lot of meat from some boxes to shield herself from the flame attack. It worked and had only fried the meat perfectly. Tucker could smell it as he sniffed the air "Meat… perfectly fried…".

The Lunch Lady then summons shish-kebabs from a box and sending them straight for Danny, who just raised himself "LOOK OUT!" Ember called to Danny. He quickly reacted and splits his body in two, making the meat passing through the stretched intangible area of his body. He smiles at how he discovered a new power, but that smile quickly fades as he sees what the Lunch Lady is up to now. She yells and summons all the meat out of all the boxes in the basement. Meanwhile, Tucker was about to take a bite of meat, but the piece, as well as the meat pile that was covering Sam, goes flying off towards the Lunch Lady ghost. The meat soars around her and attaches to the Lunch Lady, forming an even bigger meat monster!

She fires a meat fist at Ember, capturing her in her grasp. Danny had to help her "Hey, let her go!" as she flies of to fight the ghost, the Lunch Lady tosses Ember towards Danny and hit him hard, sending them both flying off, passing through a wall as they turned intangible.

The Lunch Lady then looms over Sam and Tucker and growls at them loudly "GRRAAAAAAAGH!". Sam and Tucker look scared.

"Run?" Tucker asked.

"Run" Sam quickly nodded.

"RUN!" both yelled as they ran for the door, but the Lunch Lady sends a pile of meat that blocks their exit. Sam and Tucker quickly ran the other way, while being chased by the Lunch Lady in her meat monster form.

Both Danny and Ember phases back into the room, while rubbing their heads for being hit that hard "You okay?" Ember asked. Danny nods "Yeah, and you?". But before he got an answer from her, they heard Sam and Tucker yelling as they ran past them, and determinedly go flying after them. As the Lunch Lady prepares to slam down on Sam and Tucker, Danny and Ember quickly fly down and grab both of them in their arms before turning themselves, and Sam and Tucker, intangible and flew through a wall. The Lunch Lady's eyes went wide as couldn't stop herself in time before she platters herself with all the meat against the wall.

Danny and Ember phased through the wall and came outside the school, floating while turning tangible again. Danny feels tired from all the fighting and using his ghost powers. Sam, who Ember held, noticed how Danny was tired and said "Gee, Danny. Fighting meat monsters, flying through walls… you must be exhausted" Danny disagreed "What? Of course not! What would give you… that idea…?" he lost consciousness and fell with Tucker to the ground, as Danny returns back to his human self.

Ember put Sam down as she put her hand on Danny's head "He's unconscious. I've seen this before with ghosts who just gained their powers and don't know how to control it yet. We better take him home" she said as she raised Danny with one arm. Sam and Tucker just looked confused. Ember became a bit irritated and asked them "Hey, a little help here, please. I can't carry him back home by myself". Sam and Tucker look at each other and decided to help Ember carrying Danny home.

At Fenton Works…

Jazz just came back from school and opened the front door. But after opening the door, she noticed it was quiet. To quiet "Mom? Dad?".

Jazz steps into the house, when suddenly the door slams closed behind her and two smoke bombs roll in front of her, covering the whole room "Now, Maddie! Hit her! I'm moving in!" Jazz shrieks as she felt her legs were being hold.

As the smoke clears, Jazz crossed her arms very irritated, while Jack and Maddie held her feet and the Fenton Xtractor was attached to her hair. Knowing that the Fenton Xtractor didn't work, Jack and Maddie let go of her legs. Jazz walks off, with the Xtractor still stuck on her hair "This is all going in the memoir" Jazz annoyingly says that THIS very moment will be in her memoir one day.

Just as Jack and Maddie get up from the ground, the front door opens, revealing Sam and Tucker carrying the still unconscious Danny. Both Sam and Tucker were very nervous while Tucker explained "Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton! What a school day! Poor Danny nodded off. We figured we'd just carry him all the way home and tuck him into bed" "Don't get up! We know where to go. Bye!" Sam finished saying as both started carrying Danny upstairs, while an invisible Ember floated behind them, hoping that Danny's parents wouldn't notice her.

Jack looks up the ceiling in thought "Hmm…" Maddie didn't suspect anything and said to her husband "Jack, Danny is not a ghost" "You're right," then Jacks looks at Jazz, trying to get her hair out of the Xtractor, and frowned "Jazz is".

After bringing Danny upstairs and put him on his bed, Ember reappeared and checked on him "Now we just have to wait, till he wakes up". As she leaned to a nearby wall, looking over Danny, Sam asks her "So… Ember, is it?" Ember nodded, while Sam went on "Didn't really thought I would ever tell this to a ghost, but… thank you for saving me and Tucker back there" Ember shrugged with a smile "You're welcome". Tucker was still confused of why this ghost girl named Ember helped them just now "Sorry, but, I still don't get it. Why did you even helped us back there? I mean… you're a ghost, like that EVIL Lunch Lady?" Ember answered by correcting him "Well, if I was all out evil, or something, then I wouldn't help you guys, or we wouldn't even be talking right now" "Good point".

Sam then asked as she could swear she could remember Ember from before "I think I've seen you before, Ember. You were there, when Danny became a half-ghost!" Ember sighed as that was true "Yeah. I was. Sorry that I didn't showed myself earlier, but I wasn't sure of how you guys would react. So, I've been observing you guys from a distance, well, mostly Danny because of his Ghost powers," she looks back at Danny as she continued "he's got some style, I give you that. But he's got a lot to learn".

"But, why did you even came to our world in the first place?" Sam asked. Ember sighed deep and explained "Look, it wasn't my choice to come here, okay? Back in the Ghost-Zone, a month back, I was chased by other ghosts who wanted to harm me. I was able to hide somewhere. But where I was hiding, I saw some kind of crack in the air that sparkled. It was there for a few seconds and then it was gone. My curiosity made me look at it better. When I thought it wasn't returning, I was about to leave, and then… WOOSH! I was sucked into a portal and found myself in the Fenton's lab. There I saw Danny on the floor, with his white hair and black and white jumpsuit. I was about to leave, but for some reason I was worried about him. So when I took a look at him, he opened his eyes a bit and I asked 'Hey, are you alright?' and then you came down the stairs," Ember pointed to Sam "so out of shock, I left. I first wanted to go back to the Ghost-Zone, but when I noticed that Danny was a half-ghost after freaking out about his new powers, It interested me for some reason. So for the past several weeks, I've been observing him if he was able to handle his new powers, and how you guys could cope with it".

Tucker raised an eyebrow at that point "So… Danny has a female ghost stalker, huh? Cool," he gave a smug, but then a worried face "and freaky at the same time".

"So, you stayed here in our world, just because Danny interested you?" Sam asked with a serious face "Well, that's not the only reason. When I spend my time here in your world, I started to love it. The many nice places that you guys have, the people, and no other ghosts try to harm me," but then she became a bit sad "but the problem is, I can't even go out there without not showing myself. I mean, look at me! I'M A FREAKING GHOST! But I'm not a bad person with evil intentions! I want to show to everyone that I'm different, that I matter! Is it so hard for other people not to notice that?".

Sam and Tucker looked at each other for a moment, both feeling sorry for Ember to feel like this. They felt nearly the same way, of how people at school treated them over the past several years. Tucker then said to Ember "Well, welcome to the club" "Yeah, we have been treated the same way by nearly everyone the whole time" Sam said, warming Ember's heart as Sam went on "I mean, Tucker here is a huge techno-nerd, with his barbaric way of eating meat" "Hey! There is nothing wrong with being an 'meat connoisseur', compared to you, being an 'ultra recyclo-vegetarian', who replaced our school's menu with garbage!"

"For the hundred's time, it's not garbage!"

"It is!"

"It's not!"

"It is!"

"It's not!"

"It is!"

"KNOCK IT OFF!" Ember yells as her hair flared up, reacting to her anger. Making both Sam and Tucker shocked.

Ember realized her mistake and made her flared up hair back to normal "Sorry. My hair always responds to my emotions. Sorry you had to see that". Tucker, being a bit scared asked Ember "So, you mean that, you're hair can latterly put the whole building on fire?!" Ember chuckled "No no no, I can't put the whole building on fire," but then she became very serious "unless you make me furious". Tucker nodded in understanding, that he should better not piss off Ember. Seeing his scared face made Ember laugh "Relax. I only use my flaming hair powers when it's absolutely necessary. But seriously, don't you even think of trying to piss me off" she said seriously again, making Tucker nodding wild, making Sam smirking at Tucker.

After a few hours, Danny finally awoke, but shocked in confusion as Tucker, Sam and the ghost girl, Ember looked down at him "Ah! Aah! Wha? What's going on?" Ember calmed him down "Relax. You passed out for using so much of your ghost powers" "To much?" Danny asked as she slowly sat straight "Yeah, your body is not yet used by using so much ghost powers in such a short time. It'll be alright, all you need is some practice" Ember ensured him as she patted his shoulder. Danny gave her a smile.

Then Tucker said "Geez Danny, we were worried sick! You've been asleep for four days!" "Four days?!" Danny asks shocked, nearly jumping out of his bed, what made Tucker chuckle "Nah. It's only been a couple hours" Danny lays back down on the bed, feeling relieved that it was only a few hours. Ember gave a glare to Tucker for making such a joke. Sam wasn't happy about that too and said while putting her hands on her hips "Knock it off, Tucker. This is the second time today your carelessness almost got him killed" "Me? I almost got him killed? The only reason this happened is because YOU had to be 'unique'. You had to take the meat out of the menu! And I'm going to get it back!" Tucker says while storming out of Danny's room, making sure that the school board is gonna change the menu back. But Sam was not going allow that to happen and yelled while going after Tucker "If you want to change that menu back, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME TO DO IT!" and slams the door behind her, leaving Ember with Danny.

Ember raised an eyebrow and asked Danny while she crossed her arms "Are your friends always like this?" Danny shook his head "Only when they disagree on something" "Like a married couple?". Both looked at each other for a moment, but then burst into laughter.

When their laugh died out, Danny said to Ember "Hey, listen Ember… thanks for helping me back there against that Lunch Lady ghost" "No problem. What else was I suppose to do? Stand by and watch? Not while I'm around".

Danny then sat again on his bed and asked "So… it was you right? You were that 'presence' I felt ever since the accident?" Ember confessed that she was the one indeed "Guilty" she said as she raised her hands.

For the next hour, Ember told Danny everything what she basically told Sam and Tucker, of her being sucked into the human world, at the same moment when Danny became Danny Phantom and that she stayed because she was observing Danny, if he was able to handle his powers, and she was kinda impressed, though she knew that Danny still had a lot to learn. She even told that she had listened to him playing guitar, and liked it.

"You really liked my songs?" Danny asked, feeling modest about it. Ember gave him a little punch on his arm "Don't be modest. You're good, Danny, you're really good" "Thanks. It's nice to have a fan already…" "You never played before anyone else before?" Danny sadly shook his head "Nope, not… yet at least" Ember then stood up and patted his shoulder "Well, don't wait to long, dipstick". She was about to leave, but Danny wanted to ask her something else "Wait, Ember. About when you were chased by other ghosts in the Ghost-zone… wait, did you just call me, dipstick?" he changed his question when he noticed that Ember called him dipstick "Uh… yeah. I just like to call you like that. Well, I gotta go, before you're parents will find out that you have a ghost in your room. Bye!".

She was about to disappear in a hair-flame tornado, but Danny kept asking "Wait! I have so many questions unanswered!" "I'll explain everything, in time. See you later, dipstick!" she disappeared in her hair-flame tornado, turned intangible and phased through Danny's wall.

Danny watched her leaving. It felt good to him that he finally knew 'who' the peaceful presence was all this time.

Not long after, he was playing a bit on his guitar, thinking about the things that Ember had to deal with, now that she was in the human world "Damn. Finding herself in a world that she likes and can't even enjoy it because of her being a ghost" he sighed to himself when he remembered Sam and Tucker had a big argument about the school's menu and hoped that they won't overreact, or something.

The next morning, Casper High…

Danny was walking to school, while he was listening to some rock music with his headphones. Then his peaceful ghost sense went off, feeling that Ember was near "Ember? Are you there?" he asked as he turned around to see her somewhere. Ember appeared before him, going visible again "Hi, dipstick" "Hey" but just as he wants to ask how she's been doing, Ember turned invisible again because some other students walked passed them.

While still being invisible, she said "Sorry, I gotta keep a low profile. I hope you understand?" Danny shrugs as he didn't mind "Don't worry, I understand". He kept walking to school, with Ember walked with him while still being invisible. After a minute, Ember asked "What do you think your friends are gonna do, trying to keep or changing the school's menu?" "No idea, but I hope everything will just be back to normal".

But when they arrived at Casper High, both saw many students in front of the school. Danny looked in disbelief as he had feared the worst of what Sam and Tucker would do to change/keep the school's menu "Or not. Maybe it'll be worse" he said to Ember while narrowing his eyes.

On one side of the school, a bunch of meat lovers decked out in meat merchandise. On a stage, some girls are dancing in hot dog outfits. As the girls danced offstage, Tucker appears carrying a microphone in his hand.

"What do we want?" Tucker shouts into the mic.

"MEAT!" all the meat lovers yell.

"When do we want it?".

"NOW!".

Then Danny and Ember looked over at the other side of the school, where a different protest was held, to keep the current school lunch. It was filled with hippies, laid-back people, and goths. Sam was standing on top of a school bus yelling, together with the crowd, into a microphone while holding a sign that reads 'NOW'.

"VEGGIES NOW! VEGGIES FOREVER! VEGGIES NOW! VEGGIES FOREVER!".

Sam and Tucker both saw Danny and came to him, standing on opposite sides of him, glaring at each other. Ember just watched with an raised eyebrow.

"You guys put together two protests in one night?" Danny asked in disbelief of how his two best friends were able to put this all together in one night.

"Meat-eaters, Danny," Tucker first said "always ready to fight. And our high-protein diets give us the energy we need to do it quickly".

Sam fired back by saying "Ultra recyclo-vegetarians are always ready to protest. And because we don't have to waste time cooking our food, we can move even faster".

Danny thought that both of them were nothing but overreacting and said to both of them "Come on, you guys. Don't you think that this is a little bit extreme?"

Tucker shook his head and said while still glaring at Sam "No choice, buddy. You're either with me!".

"Or you're against him!" Sam said while she also didn't stop glaring at Tucker.

"So whose side are you on?!" both asked simultaneously.

Ember was about to say something about this too, telling them to knock this thing off, but then, a sudden wind starts blowing and the sky turns gray. Cackling could be heard and Danny's warning ghost sense goes off.

"Oh no, she's back" Ember says that it could only be the Lunch Lady again.

The crowd looks bewildered and confused. The Lunch Lady then yells angrily as large portions of meat bursts out of a large meat truck and fly out in various directions. The meat then swirls around and eventually forms a way more bigger version of the meat monster the Lunch Lady was the previous day!

She looks down at the crowd and yells "IT'S LUNCH TIME!".

Both groups of protesters ran away while screaming in terror.

Tucker couldn't believe that meat had failed him and said dramatically "Meat! Why have you betrayed me?!".

Danny knew he had to transform to his ghost form and said "Guys, time to makeup. Now!".

Sam and Tucker knew what Danny wanted to do and both hug as Danny transforms beneath their cover. Ember quickly became visible and flies off with Danny to face against the Lunch Lady's gigantic meat monster form.

On the other side of the school, away from all the chaos, Jazz was talking with a goth who sat at a picnic table. Jazz tried to help him to open himself more to his parents "Spike, you have to open up to your parents! Be true to yourself and them. Tell them how you feel! I mean, it's not like they're gonna attack you or anything" just then a green net suddenly captures Jazz, as she yells in surprise and being dragged off to no other then her parents "I've got her!" Jack said confident as he pulled Jazz in "And the Fenton Grappler is working like a charm!". Maddie then comes out from the bushes, looking confused of why Jazz, thinking that she's a ghost, wasn't phasing through the net "I don't understand. If Jazz is a ghost, or two ghosts, then why isn't she phased through the net?".

Jazz stood up under the net, looking very pissed at both of her parents "Because I am not a GHOST!" She throws the net off of her "You've ambushed me, suffocated me with smoke, and worse, I was pulled away from Spike before he had his breakthrough! What do you have to say for yourselves?" she asks in how they could do this to her and what they had to say for themselves.

Jack then suddenly holds the Fenton Thermos out in front of her "Eat hot Fenton Thermos, ghost girl!" Jack presses the Thermos on, but it only sparks and does nothing. Jazz looks down at the thermos and then glares up at her parents. Jack shakes the thermos back and forth "Hmm. Darn thing still doesn't work!".

Meanwhile, Danny and Ember were facing against the gigantic meat-covered Lunch Lady. The ghost yells ferociously before attempting to punch Danny, but was able to fly out of the way in time. The ghost then tries slapping him with her other hand, but missed again. Then she tries to grab Danny again, but grabbed instead Ember. She laughs evilly as she tries to squeeze her hard "Hahahaha! No escaping this time!". Danny was not gonna let the Lunch Lady to squash Ember to a meat pie "LET HER GO!" he yells as he kicks the ghost hard on the head, making her falling over, however she still had Ember in her hands.

But then, a blue light came from the meat-covered Lunch Lady's hands. Her eyes went wide. In a fierce explosion, Ember managed to get herself free, as her hair was so fired up that the force made the Lunch Lady to lose her hands! Ember's eyes were fiercely red as her blue fired up hair covered nearly her whole body, as she floated up.

Tucker gulped for seeing Ember like this "Now I see why none of us should ever piss her off".

Danny flew next to Ember "Wow! That's an awesome power you got there!" Ember, with her eyes still red, smiled to Danny for his compliment "Thanks". But then saw the Lunch Lady was about to deliver another punch with her regenerated meat-hand "Low bridge!" Ember yelled as she ducked, but Danny was not in time to dodge it and was hit so hard, it send him fly high in the sky.

Sam runs forward as she watches Danny fly high "I sure hope he can take a punch!"

Just then, an airplane flew overhead, with Danny sent flying upward toward it. Inside the plane, a flight attendant served a cup of water to a businessman "Here's your water, sir". But then all are surprised as Danny suddenly phases through and up out of the ceiling. Danny then phases back down through the floor again, grabbing the businessman's water cup "Thanks!".

Danny flies back towards the ghost with speed, as he splashed the cup of water on his face. Ember saw what Danny wanted to do. She fired her firing hair up and flew fast in circles around the meat-covered Lunch Lady, creating a blue ring of fire around her, to keep her where she's standing. The Lunch Lady roared in anger.

Back with Jack and Maddie. Both parents looked at Jazz, with her arms crossed, irritated. Jack realized he was wrong that Jazz was a ghost and smiled, as he finally got what her daughter was saying for all these years. There is no such thing, as ghosts. He looked at the thermos in his hand and then promises himself to turn away from ghosts "I, Jack Fenton, from this day forth, do hereby turn my back on ghosts". At that moment, Danny slams into the ghost, sending meat flying everywhere in an explosion, creating a crater!

Ember landed at the sight of the crater, with her flaming hair turning back to normal. She saw Danny trying to get himself out of the crater. Ember helped him pulling out of the crater, as the Lunch Lady appeared innocent and worried "Oh, dear! What a mess! Are you okay?" but Danny and Ember didn't fall for it. Both frowned at her as Danny said "Then only moment when we are okay, is when we send you back where you belong. In Hell". The Lunch Lady first looked sad but then turned back to her evil self "TOUGH! BECAUSE ME SENDING TO HELL IS NOT PART OF MY BALANCED DIET OF DOOM!".

She then summons some remaining meat out of the crater, forming ten small piles in front of Danny and Ember, which turn into little meat monsters. Ember grabbed her violet guitar and fly off high together Danny, with the meat monsters jumping after them. As Ember hit the strings hard on her guitar, she released a strong pink shockwave, destroying five of the meat monsters. While Danny does a flying kick that slices through the remaining monsters before he and Ember landed back on the ground.

Ember was impressed by that move of Danny, but then they see the meat monsters form themselves again.

"Wasn't expecting that" Danny said as he didn't expect the meat monsters to regenerate like that, as he all of the sudden turns back human again "Or that". Ember was distracted by Danny's sudden changing back, that the meat monsters grabbed them. Both tried to fight them off but they keep their hold and fly up with them. Ember managed to free herself with as she fired up her blue flaming hair, sending them back with a powerful burst! Danny was able to let two off of him, while three dangle him upside down by his legs.

Meanwhile. Jack looks at the Fenton Thermos one last time, before deciding to throw it away "…And this Thermos can't trap ghosts because ghosts don't exits" he tosses the thermos behind him.

But the thermos suddenly whacks Danny in the face, and catches it "The Fenton Thermos! But how am I going to get it to work?" he asked himself, trying to figure out how he could use it against the Lunch Lady.

The three meat monsters then suddenly let go of him and toss him towards the ground. Danny yells as he plummets toward the ground. Ember saw this and wanted to help him, but was stopped by the other meat monsters "DANNY!".

Danny closed his eyes tight "Change back! C'MON, CHANGE BACK!" then a light flashes and he turns ghost again. The meat monsters look surprised, then furious before chasing after him. Ember felt relieved that Danny figured out to change back to his ghost form.

Danny then phases right close to his parents and sister saying "Thanks for the thermos!" before phasing down the ground.

All the other Fenton's saw it, making Jack overly happy that he finally saw a ghost! "HA! Ghost kid! I was right!" he was then saying in a sing-song voice to Jazz "You were wrong! Ghost exist!" and starts laughing hard "I never doubted for a second! Hahahaha!" but then a large amount of meat lands on top of them.

All three emerges their head out of the meat. Jazz did not look pleased, while Jack poked her "He! He! Told you so".

Danny then phases out from the ground with the Fenton Thermos in hand, right in front of the Lunch Lady, making her furious when she saw the thermos "NO! Soup's not on today's menu!" Danny pulls the top off and aims it towards the Lunch Lady "I'm changing the menu, permanently!". Danny prayed for the Thermos to work "Come on, please work! PLEASE WORK!" he shuts his eyes tight, as a blue aura surrounds him and then the thermos, which powers it up before releasing a stream of energy "YES!". The stream forms a net that surrounds the surprised Lunch Lady and traps her and swirls as she's sucked into the thermos "NOOOOOOO!".

Danny puts the cover back on the thermos, as he smiles when he looks up, seeing Ember landing in front of him being proud of him "Danny! You did it! You got her!" Danny changes back to his human self as he looked at the thermos for a second "Not bad for a dipstick, huh?" Ember chuckled as she punched him soft on the arm, before putting her guitar back over her back.

Sam and Tucker, who were trapped under on of the protest balloons, got out of it and joined with Danny and Ember "What happened? Where's the ghost?" Sam asked. Danny raised the thermos in his hand "Safely locked in here. My parents have their moments, but they are good moments".

Then suddenly, Danny hears a faint beeping noise and hides the thermos behind him. Ember quickly turned invisible again and hides. Jack and Maddie walk up to the trio, with Jack holding the Fenton Finder in front of Danny, and where Ember used to be "Two ghosts directly ahead. You would have to be some sort of moron to not notice two ghosts directly ahead". Jack and Maddie look at Danny, who gave a weakly smile "Oh, sorry, Dad. You just missed them" he points behind him with his thump. Jack and Maddie immediately run to where Danny pointed too "We got a runner!". Jazz just walks away with her arms crossed "Great. Back to square one".

As soon as everyone was gone, Tucker asked "So, you're not gonna tell 'em?" Danny shook his head "Nah. I think I might've finally figured out what these powers are for, now certainly with Ember around to help me. They make me-" he was interrupted as a hand suddenly grabs Danny by the shoulder, making his eyes go die and glances upwards, seeing Mr. Lancer who looks furious "In a world of trouble".

Later that the evening, Danny, Sam and Tucker were forced to clean all the mess from the protests, especially all the meat that was scattered all over the school. Lancer used a megaphone, calling to Sam "Manson! Pick up that T-bone!" Sam was disgusted that she had to touch the meat to clean it up "With my hands?"

Then Lancer called to Tucker "Foley! Pick up that Turfwich!" Tucker was equally disgusted that he had to clean the Turfwich, what was the grass on a bun "With my hands?". Mr. Lancer seemed pleased as the kids were learning their lesson and takes a bite out of a turkey leg before turning around and walked away.

Danny was sweeping up some meat, as his peaceful ghost senses went off. He smiled as he looked for Ember "Pssst! Over here" he heard from behind the dumpster where the meat is being collected. He walked behind it and met Ember "Forced to clean up the Lunch Lady's mess, huh?" she asked. Danny rolled his eyes in annoyance "Yeah, it's bullshit, that's what it is!".

Ember grow a little smile as she turned intangible "Let me help" she flew over where all the remaining meat and vegetarian food, grabbed them all in her arms and put them all in the dumpster. Sam and Tucker noticed this and were grateful of Ember to help them around.

As Ember dropped the last few steaks in the dumpster she turned tangible again "All done". Sam and Tucker dropped their brooms and walked to Ember "Hey, thanks a lot, Ember" Tucker thanked her. She just shrugged "This mess was also partly my fault. It was the least I could do" Ember told while she winked.

As Danny walked home together with Ember and his friends, talking about the fight with the Lunch Lady "You're really are getting better at fighting ghosts, Danny" Tucker said "I guess, but I wouldn't have done it without you guys, and not without your help either, Ember" Ember blushed because of his compliment "C'mon, it was you who captured the Lunch Lady, so you deserve most of the credit. Though you still got to learn to control all your powers" Ember told Danny that he should practice a bit more to learn to control his powers.

That brought Danny to an idea, and since Ember is technically not an evil ghost, he asked "Can you teach me?" Ember stopped and asked surprised "What?" "Learning me to control my powers? Well, you're practically ARE a ghost, so you know more about this then I do, then any of us. I think we would make an amazing team with you around" but then Danny looked at Sam and Tucker, to see if they were okay with this "You guys are okay with this?". Tucker was a bit unsure, but Sam smiled and said "I don't mind. She saved mine and Tucker's life, so that's good enough for me". Tucker scratched his head and then shrugged "If you think that this is gonna help you control your powers and stand a better change against other ghosts, then… I don't mind it either".

Danny then looked at Ember, who considered it "I don't know, Danny… I mean, I would love to help you, but it's gonna be tough for me because I'm a ghost. I cannot change into a human form like you can". Danny understood, as it was hard for Ember since she cannot disguise herself as a human. As he and his friends thought of a solution, Danny all of the sudden remembered something that his parents had made some years ago "Wait… That's it, you guys!" all raised an eyebrow as they didn't know what Danny thought of "What, Danny?" Sam asked. He began to ran to his house "My parents have something that could help! C'mon!" all looked at each other for a moment, and then just followed Danny.

Later, at Fenton Works, down in the lab…

Danny searched inside some boxes for the thing that could help Ember "Danny, what are you looking for?" Tucker asked. Ember nodded as she looked worried around her, fearing that either Danny's mom or dad would see her "Yeah, can we please hurry! I don't want your parents to see me". Danny took another big box and threw all kinds of useless stuff out of it "Where is it? Where is it?!". Then he found it "YES! I knew my dad still had this baby around somewhere!" he said as he held the thing in the air.

It was some kind of black-silver belt, with the green Fenton logo on the belt buckle.

Danny gave it to Tucker to do something about it "Tucker, can you reverse the polarity on this?" Tucker took it and did what he asked him to do "Sure. But what is this? A Fenton merchandise?" Danny then explained "This is the Fenton Ghost-Disguise. My dad made it a few years ago, in order to disguise himself as a ghost, so both him and mom could study how ghosts would react. It didn't work, but I know my parents, they never throw things like these away". While Tucker opened the belt buckle, that had a lot of tiny processor chips and tiny wires, Ember wanted to know how this was going to help her "But how is this 'belt' gonna help me, Danny?" "Well, If this thing can disguise a human into a ghost, than it could disguise a ghost into a human" he said confident. Sam however wasn't sure, so she asked while Tucker readjusted a few wires "How can you be so sure?" "Trust me, Sam. I asked that to my dad when he showed this invention of his to me, and he said 'Well, in theory yes, if you need to reverse the polarity on this thing'. He then of course laughed to think that a ghost will actually use this. So I figured, why not now?".

Ember didn't know what to say. No one had ever been so caring, or been so nice to her before.

Just then, they heard some sound coming from upstairs "Danny?! Are you downstairs?!" it was Jack who called for his son. All four were shocked as he was coming downstairs "Hurry Tucker!" Danny said to Tucker that he need to hurry "I'm almost finished! Just re-adjusting one more chip and… done!" he said as he closed the belt buckle and gave it quickly to Ember.

They heard Jack coming down closer "Danny?!".

Ember quickly attached the belt at her waist, but didn't knew how it worked "How does it work?!" she asked loud, but silently "Press the Fenton logo!" Danny instructed her as Jack was about to enter the lab. Ember quickly hide behind Danny and pressed the logo on the belt. It sparkled a bit, till a bluish-white ring appeared around her waist, as it split into two rings, one going up Ember's body and the other going down.

Jack entered the lab and saw surprisingly Danny with Sam and Tucker in the lab "Danny? What are you and your friends doing down here in the lab?". All three gave a nervously smile without answering. Jack raised an eyebrow, but then noticed a brown ponytail behind Danny's back, figuring that someone stood behind him "Is somebody else with you?".

Danny was getting very nervous "Uh… That's, uhh…".

Ember slowly showed herself. Her skin was no longer pale-white, but now naturally white. Her robin's egg blue hair was now dark brown and her green eyes were now blue. Her outfit, signature makeup and purple lipstick was still the same, but Ember really looked now more… human, and alive….

She nervously greeted Jack as she reached out her hand to him "Uh… Hi. Please to… meet you Mr. Fenton". Jack took her hand and shacked it "Please to meet you too. And you are?". Danny nervously answered "She's… uhh… Em…-" "Emily!" Ember immediately answered "Emily… McLain".

Jack first looked suspicious, making Danny, Sam, Tucker and Ember nervous. But then Jack smiled "Well, pleasure to meet you Emily!" then he asked "Say, I don't remember that Danny had a friend named Emily?".

Tucker then said "Oh, well… she… had just-" "Moved into Amity Park! With her parents!" Sam finished "From… uhh-" "California! Yeah, California… LA!" Danny said immediately, still looking very nervous. Ember nodded while also very nervous "Yeah… that's right! I just moved here to Amity Park with my folks. I met with Danny and his friends today and they… showed me a bit around town…. So when Danny… mentioned you and your wife were hunting ghosts and had this AMAZING lab, I first didn't believed it, so he… showed me what you guess had down here".

Jack seemed to have fallen very easily for it "Oh, well, welcome to Amity Park, I should say!" then he looked at Danny "Now Danny, I don't really mind for you to bring someone down into the lab, but I'd like you tell me first before you bring some stranger down here. A lot of stuff here can be unpredictable" "Uhh… sure, dad" Danny said as he would tell it next time. Then he pretended he checked his watch "Oh, is it that late?! Uhh… Emily, you said that you needed to be home like… right now?" Ember raised an eyebrow, but seeing that he was trying to sneak her out, she quickly said "Oh… YEAH, that's right! I need to get home like… now!". Both Tucker and Sam nodded as they went upstairs, together with Ember and Danny. Jack waved goodbye to Ember, who he think is called, Emily "Bye, Emily! It was nice meeting you!".

He sighed in proud as he turned himself "It's good to see some new folk are interested in the art of ghost hunting". But then he sees all the stuff he put in the boxes scattered all over the floor. His face showed some suspicion, but then smiled "Yep! Just as how I left it".

When all four were outside, Ember was so grateful for Danny and his friends being able to disguise herself as a human and hugged them tightly "Oh, thank you guys! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Danny smiled "You're welcome". Sam and Tucker both smiled too.

As Ember let them go, she pressed the Fenton logo on her Ghost Disguise, what was now a Human Disguise, and changed her back to her ghost form "This is awesome! Now I don't need to hide myself anymore!" "Glad you liked it" Danny said while crossing his arms. Then he asked about his suggestion from before "So, now that you don't have to hide yourself anymore from the other humans, does that mean you…?" "Yes! I'll teach you how to control your ghost powers, and maybe learn you some other tricks". Danny's smile went wide as she had accepted to be his 'mentor'.

Then Ember said goodbye and to fly off to her hideout "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow", but then Sam stopped her "Wait, Ember?!" she turned and faced Sam "Yeah?" "You don't need to stay in the harbor to sleep" "I don't?" "No. Listen, my parents have a big attic up their house. If you want, you can use that as a place to stay?".

This was something that Ember didn't expect for Sam to offer her. But she smiled and gladly accepted it "That would be wonderful! Thank you, Sam!" and hugged her, what Sam returned "No problem, see it as a little gift, for saving my life" "Thank you, but, what if anyone in your house notices me that I'm living in the attic?" Ember asked concerned that what if anyone finds her. Sam ensured her as she patted her shoulder "Don't worry, that attic is only being cleaned once a month. If you don't draw to much suspicion, they won't notice. Trust me". Ember smiled and said "Then I'm gladly accepting your offer".

This surprised Danny and Tucker a bit, but it was nice of Sam to offer their newly ghost friend a place to stay.

Ember activated back her human disguise as she walked together with Sam, to her house and said goodbye to the rest "Bye Danny! Bye Tucker!" both Danny and Tucker waved goodbye "Yeah, see you tomorrow, ghost friend" Tucker said, naming Ember now their ghost friend.

Along the way, Sam then said to Ember "Okay, but once we get to my house, I want you to keep some things about my family a secret from the guys, for now at least" Ember raised an eyebrow of what she had to keep a secret from Danny and Tucker "Why? Are you folks, like what, assassins working for the government?" "No no no! Not like that! That'll be even worse. You'll see it once we get to my place, but please, whatever you notice about my family, I want to tell Danny and Tucker myself, for another time".

Ember still didn't get why she had to keep something a secret from, but nodded "Okay, I promise" "Thanks bud" Sam said, feeling grateful that Ember promises to keep her secret, about her family. Then Ember's stomach growls "I'm starving. Do you have anything to eat at your place?" "Sure, we have lots of food," but then Sam looks confused to Ember "wait, you still have to eat something, while you're a ghost?".

Ember sighed "You guys don't know a lot about ghosts, do you? Just because I'm a ghost, doesn't mean I don't have to eat, drink or sleep. We all still have to find a way to survive, back in the Ghost-zone". Sam now understood "Oh, I see".

After a short moment of silence, while both walked to Sam's place, Ember asked "Do you maybe have some more of that ultra recyclo-vegetarian food?" this surprised Sam greatly, that Ember asked if she had more of her ultra recyclo-vegetarian food "Wait, you like it?" "Actually, yeah, I did. I don't see why people are complaining about it?".

This made a big smile on Sam's face, that finally someone liked her ultra recyclo-vegetarian food "Sure! I can arrange that!" "Thanks Sam".

And that's is for the first chapter of my Danny Phantom story!

It became far longer than I thought it would, but I hope you all like it anyway.

So don't forget to like and send a review, and I'll see you all in the next chapter 'Parental Bonding', where Danny and Ember have to face a certain ghost dragon, while also dealing with a lot of issues about the coming school dance.

See you all then!
