Ever since the viewing, the four girls sat around a table in the heavenly realm, each with a mug of warm tea. Eris was the only one drinking, the other three were too deep in thought.

"So... What do you plan to do now?" Eris asked them, causing them to flinch slightly.

They didn't know. They were still processing everything they just learned. Just what could they do? They just learned such the depressing truth about Kauzma, and now they regret all the things they've said to him.

All this time, he seemed perfectly fine, taking the insults in stride, but how much did it actually hurt him inside to deal with everything? Today must have been his breaking point for him to have snapped so badly.

"Well, whatever you do is up to you, but, I recommend apologizing for starters. Whether you insulted him directly or not, you have cause certain rumors to rise." Eris said before drinking more of her tea, causing the girls to sink further into their seats.

They were well aware of this. Megumin basically had threatened Kazuma's early reputation in order to be part of his party. And rumors still spread after she was let in.

Darkness' actions revealed Kazuma stealing Chris' panties when he first used his steal skill, while he did fire it off again stealing Megumin's, she sort of started that situation in the first place. Because of all that, he was known in Axel as the perverted adventurure.

Aqua felt really guilty. No, she felt ashamed. She mocked someone who had died after living a life of suffering, and carried part of that pain to his new life. She always begged him for money, never paying him back, yelled at him when she didn't get what she want, and treated him like he was below her when in reality he's what kept them alive since the very beginning.

The three suddenly stood up from their chairs and looked at each other with a resolved look.

"Eris, send us back please!" Darkness asked her.

"I see you've thought of something. In any case, I wish you best of luck!" Eris said before snapping her finger.

A magic circle appeared underneath while a beam of light shined from above them before they slowly started floating up.

Once they were gone, Eris smiled to herself.

"I hope they learn from this. Not everyone is given a chance to recover." Eris said to herself before taking another sip of her tea.

The three appeared infront of their mansion, looking at it with determined eyes. The sun has just set.

They quietly entered the mansion and looked around for Kazuma.

He wasn't in his room, but they heard the sound of the bath running, so they knew he was in there.

They decided to stay in his room, otherwise he would just lock them out again.

After almost half an hour of waiting they heard footsteps coming down the hall.

They felt their hearts racing, they wanted to do this, but would he be willing to listen to what they had to say?

The door knob started turning, and the door swung open to show Kazuma in his green trac.

He still looked tired and sad, though perhaps it was the bath he just had that made him look slightly better. He was very surprised to see the three of them in his room, but his facial expression soured to one of anger.

"What are you doing here?" Kazuma asked harshly.

"Kazuma, we came here to apoligize." Darkness said.

"I don't need to hear it..."

"But Kazuma, please just hear us-" Megumin tried to reason but was interrupted.

"Shut up, just get out already." He said, clenching his fists.

"Kazuma, please listensullenly cut off.

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE" Kazuma shouted, slamming his fist against the wall, startling the three.

"I don't need to hear your empty apologies! I know once you apologize and everything is all fine and dandy, you'll just do it all over again, that's what always happens!" Kazuma said, starting to shed some tears.

The girls were frozen, they came in so determined but now they don't know what to do.

Kazuma leaned against the door frame.

"I know I am to blame, I have harrassed a few girls, even you guys, I know I am an idiot and said some really dumb stuff in the past, I know I am a pervert, my "Steal" skill steals panties for God's sake! But with everything I've done for Axel, with all the effort I put to take care of you guys, am I just such a bad guy I deserve to be treated like the city's punching bag?" Kazuma had slid down the doorframe to the floor, he had sat down and wrapped his arms around his legs, bringing them close and covering his face as he let out several sobs.

"My parents, my friends, my classmates, they all hated me... Why did I think this world would be any different..." Kazuma between his sobs.

"Enough... I'm so tired of trying..." Kazuma said quietly.

He had expected the girls to laugh at him, mock him that he was crying like a baby infront of a bunch of girls.

What he didn't expect, was for those girls to wrap their arms around him.

It shocked him. This was a feeling he had never really experienced much. It almost felt completely foreign to him.

"Kazuma, the moment I met you, I had mocked you because of how you died. It was completely disrespectful to you, and I always bother you for money without ever paying you back. I cause you so much trouble but you still keep me around, and for that I am so grateful. Even if you never forgive me, I still just want to let you know how sorry I am for everything I've done to you." Aqua first said.

"I am an Arc-Wizard, but all I know is explosion magic. I'm useless after one move and then I rely on you so much just to keep me safe. I threatened you just to let me in the party and you never kicked me out. You never left me alone after one of our daily outings for me to use my magic. I may have treated you badly before, and I may be partially responsible for having rumors spread about you, but I am truly grateful for still being your party." Megumin said next.

"I am a crusader, and it is my duty to protect, but yet you have done more to protect us than I have. I cannot hit a target and I am but a mere decoy in a fight, yet you still give me a place to call my home, filled with friends that I never had before. I have caused you extreme amounts of trouble, and also cause some of the rumors of you being a pervet to rise. As a knight and as a friend, I thank you Kazuma. Darkness said last.

Kazuma didn't know what to think. He never had anyone apoligize so genuinely before. In the past they felt so empty, so rehearsed. But this, was new to him. He couldn't process it.

"Kazuma, we're sorry." They all said.

Kazuma just cried.

He cried his heart out.

He felt like as if he could finally stop looking at the past.

He kept crying under the embrace of his friends until he finally fell asleep.

A few hours later, Kazuma's was resting on Aqua's lap as she gently ran her hand over his head.

"Do you think we did good enough?" Megumin asked.

"I believe so, it's up to him whether he forgives us or not. Whichever one he chooses, we have to live with it." Darkness said.

There was a moment of silence, aside from Kazuma's relatively quiet breathing.

"He seems so peaceful like this." Aqua said, poking at his face, causing him to move a bit.

He opened his eyes to see Aqua above him. He looked around and saw the other two still in his room. It took him a moment before he realized that he had just previously cried like a baby infront of all three of them, causing him to suddenly get up.

"Kazuma?" Aqua asked, wondering why he must suddenly got up.

"... Sorry" He said quietly?

"What was that?" Megumin asked.

"I said I'm sorry! For yelling at you all. It was uncool of me to yell at you all, and the way I've treated you today. It was unacceptable-" Kazuma was cut off by Darkness.

"If anyone should be apologizing it's us. The way you snapped this morning was understandable, we only asked that you forgive us for all the trouble we caused."

Kazuma was silent for a moment before he spoke up.

"We are a party, we stick together... You guys are my friends, no scratch that, you guys are my family here." Kazuma said before turning around and giving the girls a smile.

They felt relieved. Things were getting better.

"Besides, who else could I order around once I become wealthy?" Kazuma said.

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say. Go get some sleep, we definitely need some." Megumin said, the other two nodding in agreement.

As they were leaving, Kazuma spoke up.

"Tomorrow, we're taking that quest we cancelled, alright?" He asked.

They all gave their agreements.

"Alright then, goodnight. And... thank you...c" Kazuma said bashfully, turning around.

The three looked at each other before giggling and going to their respective rooms.

Kazuma looked out the window up to the moon.

"I guess things will get better from here. Thank you..." He said outloud before retiring to his bed.

Outside under the window, out of view from anyone, a silver haired thief stood there with a big smile on her face.

"You're welcome, Kazuma." Chris said before leaving the area.

Man this has been quite a thing to write. Honestly I always wanted to see the MC's have some form of retaliation for the heaps of abuse they get. Because the genre for the anime does fall under comedy they often just brush it off, but sometimes I want to see what if they reacted like how most people would, especially after seeing the Movie where the table of girls were calling Kazuma "Scumzuma", it kinda sparked my interest in making this. Perhaps someday I might make one about Aqua since she also does receive a lot of abuse from Kazuma.
