After school, the two of them headed for Main Street. Main Street was a one way street right in the middle of the city. It was the home for many shops, small restaurants and the Mayor's office. Ollie and Sam decided to walk since it was such a nice day out. However, the sun was beating down pretty hard.

"Where are we going?" asked Sam.

"We're going to the Able Sisters' costume shop." said Ollie, "If we are to truly be superheroes, I need to have a costume."

"Fair enough. What kind of costume are you going for?" Sam asked.

"It's a surprise." Ollie said with a smirk. Sam rolled her eyes. The Able Sisters' costume shop was on main street which wasn't far from the school. About a five minute distance. After a while, the two made it to main street.

"Should we have a like a superhero team name?" asked Sam.

"A team name? But there's only two of us." said Ollie, "I could see if there was a third or fourth member sure but I don't think we need one now." Sam lost track of what Ollie was saying because she caught sight of Ike Martin. She stopped in place to get a good look at him. He was loitering with his friends Luci, Corrin and Roy outside of the general store. His hair was short, blue and shaggy. He and his friends were wearing their New Donk City High white uniform shirt and their khaki pants (the girls wore blue skirts above the knee), but Ike's shirt seemed to be a tight fit.

"Sam? Sam? Earth to Sam!" Sam snapped out of her trance.

"What were you staring at?" asked Ollie. He looked over to where Sam was looking. "Oh, you were staring at City High kids." He groaned.

"Ike in particular. He's so dreamy with his muscles and his hair.." Sam started to say, but she was cut off by Ollie.

"Yes yes I know. The narrator said all of this already." said Ollie. He seemed peeved.

"You don't seem to happy with their presence," said Sam.

"That's because they go to City High and they are beneath people like us who go to School for the Gifted." Ollie explained in a cocky attitude.

"In what way are they below us?" Sam questioned. She didn't like Ollie's remark.

"Oh Samantha it's simple, we're the geniuses who are destined to change the world and bring on a new era of science while City High kids all go on to work fast food and odd jobs for the rest of their lives." Ollie said with a smirk.

"Hey! I used to go to City High." complained Sam. Ollie stopped walking.

"Really? That would explain a lot." he said. Sam got offended and punched him in the arm.

"Not in that way!" he remarked, "I didn't see you at all last year. That's why I said it made sense." he explained rubbing his arm. Sam punched pretty hard. "So you went there freshman year?"

"Yep. I took a test in order to get transferred to NDCS." Sam said with pride.

"Huh, didn't know there was a test to transfer." said Ollie. Sam started to look at Ike and his friends again. Old memories started to flood her brain of freshman year. She had a crush on Ike for what seemed like forever. "Do you want to go talk to them?" Ollie asked.

"What? Pfft no." said Sam nervously.

"Sam, it's obvious you wanna go talk to Ike. Go and I'll go get my costume." said Ollie. Sam became even more nervous. But she nodded in agreement and Ollie went into the Able Sisters' shop. Sam took a deep breath and went over to Ike and his friends.

"Man, I can't wait for Mac's party tonight." said Corrin.

"I know right. With everything going on right now, I need a party." said Roy. Sam slowly approached the group.

"Well well well, if it isn't miss School for the Gifted." said Ike jokingly. Sam blushed.

"Hi guys." she said. "It's been a while."

"Damn right it has." Corrin said, giving Sam a tight hug. Sam hugged her back.

"How are they treating you at Gifted School?" asked Luci.

"It's really good actually. A little hectic with all the science stuff that goes on but fun nonetheless." explained Sam.

"Yeah those nerds be getting into all kinds of trouble." Roy commented confidently. Ike chuckled.

"Well hey, our friend Mac is having a party tonight. Maybe you could be there and we can all catch up." Ike suggested. Sam blushed. At that time, Ollie came out of the shop with his costume in a bag. He was humming to himself about to walk over to Sam when he saw something in the sky. It was a green gelatinous blob with three red things inside of it and on the bottom it had two tusks. Ollie nearly dropped his bag in awe of the creature.

"What the hell?" He said. The creature started to fly away. He quickly ran over to Sam.

"I would love to go." said Sam. Suddenly, Ollie grabbed her wrist.

"Sorry to pull Sam away from you guys, but uh I just remembered, we have a project to work on so we gotta go!" Ollie quickly said. He pulled Sam away from the group and took off running.

"I'll message you on Facebook!" Sam exclaimed. Roy started laughing.

"Who was that guy? Her boyfriend?" he asked.

"Nah, he didn't look like one." Ike responded.

"What a dork." Roy commented.

Ollie dragged Sam a good distance chasing after the creature. Sam finally managed to let go off his grasp.

"What is this all about?" Sam questioned angrily.

"Look at that." Ollie commanded pointing to the creature. Sam looked to where Ollie was pointing. She got a great look at the strange floating creature

"What the hell?" She questioned now confused. The creature then started to float high in the sky. Ollie quickly got out his phone and took a picture of it.

"I wish we had our stuff so we could capture it." said Ollie.

"I think we need to have our stuff on us at all times so that we can be prepared for anything." Sam suggested. Ollie shot her a look.

"Must I remind you that your armor isn't very mobile." said Ollie.

"Oh. You're right." said Sam. Just then, Ollie had an epiphany.

"Actually, I know someone who can help you with your suit." Ollie said.

"Really who?" aked Sam.

"Her name is Suzie. Come on, she should still be at the school." Ollie said. He took off running for the school and Sam followed behind him.
