I'm back at it with my second Superman story. I hope you enjoy.

Just a quick disclaimer. I'm not the most knowledgeable on the Rosario to Vampire verse. I'll be learning as I write this.

One more thing, Superman won't be showing up till later on. I won't say much more because I don't want to spoil his entrance.

Chapter One: The end and beginning

Darkness. That was all that was left of the once thriving universe Kal El called home. Over the billions of years Kal had lived, he had grown in knowledge and power. He discovered the secrets of the universe and outlived all that existed. Even as he stood in the pitch black, he held back the entropy that would take the universe. Through sheer determination and will, he postponed the destruction of everything.

In front of Kal was a divine being. However, this being was not imposing on or over him, it was lying on a stone table as it had for the past million years. It's form was that of an old man, bald with a long gray beard. It's countless wrinkles spoke of it's immense age. It wore nothing but a long golden robe. However, in the piitch black, even the gold could not shine. Four massive angelic white wings rested under it, spread wide.

"And so, Kommandi looked out to the stars as the Earth drew it's last breath and charted Humanity's course to something bigger. Something greater. However, nothing is eternal, and as such he didn't know that what saved humanity is what would eventually end it" Came a reminiscent voice of what sounded like an american man in his early thirties.

"Would you care to hear more? I always have stories to share"' the voice continued.

Slowly, as if every word took an incredible amount of energy to even speak, a dry and raspy voice came from the being on the stone table "And so you do, don't you? Truth be told, they are the only thing I have left besides the creeping entropy that threatens to overtake me at every moment. Stories are certainly better company. Sadly, my time is closing in on me. The burden of seeing the end of existence will be yours alone".

Kal, still invisible in the darkness looked down on the dying Anu with a smile.

"A burden? No, it is none of the sort. I am blessed to see it's final hours. Only to see it be born again. Anu, My last and final friend. I am ready for what lies on the other side of reality".

A series of rasping laughs was heard from Anu, but they were not malicious or spiteful. They were laughs that one would laugh when faced with unshakable optimism.

"Your optimism never ceases does it? All of existence is crumbling as we speak, and yet you look forward to what lies on the other side. Perhaps that is your greatest strength. Your strongest power"

Kaff Hakk Kaff

Anu's distorted coughing broke the contemplative silence of Kal El's mind.

"It is my time now, If we meet again somehow, somewhere, let it be in better light" Anu joked while holding out his hand for Kal to hold in his last seconds of existence.

Kal held it only for it to evaporate slowly seconds later.

Kal stood still over the now empty stone slab for quite some time, his hand now grasping only emptiness.

He was the last being in existence. He was alone in the vast universe of nothing but darkness. What could have been years passed before he moved. Flying upwards into space, Kal screamed as a blinding flash of white and a immense tearing sensation was felt by Kal El as reality was being unmade and rebuilt.

This was the end and the beginning.

Billions of years later

Ordinary. Average. Indistinguishable. Totally mediocre.

Those were the words that described the young Japanese student Tsukune Aono. He was a fifteen year old young man. He had short black hair, clear light skin, big brown eyes and an average face. Nothing about him stood out and nothing was particularly bad about him either.

However, today he was in a predicament he had not expected. He had failed the Tokyo Entrance exams. Now he had to enroll in some unknown middle of nowhere high school.

That brings him to where he is now. Riding on a short green bus while looking out over a peaceful lakeside. He didn't know it at the time, but this would soon be the last peace he would get for a long, long time.

An ominous and foreboding voice broke him out of his sleepy trance.

"Your'e going to Youkai Academy? I have to tell you now. This is no ordinary school. It is a terrifying place!"

"What do you mean?" Tsukune asked the only other person there, the bus driver who was looking at him instead of the road.

The bus driver was a man in a long blue coat and had a hat similar to a train conductor's that shadowed his face. Tsukune could of sworn the man's eyes glowed red as he just laughed wickedly in response to Tsukune's question.

"I'm telling you now kid. Be prepared. Not that it will do you any good. Hahaha" the bus drier laughed before pulling the bus to a stop.

"We're here. Be careful kid. You may just make it back alive" were the last words the bus driver spoke before manhandling Tsukune out of the door and tossing him onto the dirt below with his bags.

After collecting himself up off of the ground to look around, Tsukune almost yelled in fright.

The sky was dark and overcast, giving a light similar to late evening and very dark. The trees were all dead, their branches reaching towards him like the claws of death, ready to steal his life at any second. The ground was a slightly ashen dirt with small whitish colored rocks that looked like bones. An eery silence swallowed the area, making him feel alone and smothered.

Up a hill in front of him was a dauntingly large mansion that looked out of a Dracula movie. It's architecture involved many sharp steeples and parapets and towers that reached high above the treetops. It in itself was intimidating, but when coupled with the atmosphere it became a whole new level of creepy.

Caww Caww

came the hideous cry of some devilish bird, causing Tsukune to slightly jump in surprise.

"This doesn't look like Japan" Tsukune thought as he fully absorbed his surroundings. However, once again he was broken out of his concentration. This time by a familiar sound. Bicycle tires crunching on dry dirt.

"LOOK OUT" Came the sound of a girl's voice around his age from behind him.

Jumping to the side at the last second, Tsukune narrowly avoided a girl going by him on a bicycle.

A good ten or so feet away, the girl came to a halt and dismounted her bike. She was a girl around his age. She had long pink hair, bright green eyes, pale skin and a warm look to her. She had a green academy jacket with a white dress shirt underneath and a short knee high brown checkered skirt.

Running over to the slightly surprised Tsukune, she gave a small bow in apology.

"Sorry for almost hitting you with my bike. Are you okay?" She asked sincerely while looking all over him for any signs of injury. When she got close to him, her pupils widened slightly and for the tiniest fraction of a second turned red, as if reacting to him.

"Uhhm yeah, I'm okay. You scared me" Tsukune responed, a little relieved but also curious about this new girl.

"I'm sorry about that. My name is Moka. What's yours?" she asked while giving another bow of apology.

"Tsukune, I'm Tsukune. Nice to meet you. This place is pretty weird right?" Tsukune asked with an awkward chuckle.

Moka looked at him with her head slightly cocked to the side in confusion.

"No, I don't think so. Are you sure you're all right?" she asked, genuinely concerned for him.

"Haha. I was just a little out of it. Anyways, is that Youkai Academy?" He said while pointing the the Manor.

"Yep, that's it. Wanna walk with me there?" Moka asked before her eyes widened.

"Oh silly me. I forgot to ask you. Do you want to be my friend?" she asked awkwardly.

"Yeah, That would be nice!" Tsukune said, blushing slightly at how close Moka was getting.

Moka smiled widely and jumped up and down twice with happiness.

"You're my first friend here Tsukune" she said as she took his right hand with her left and dragged him towards the school.

"Woah!" Tsukune let out a cry from the unexpected strength of the girl.

And so, the two made their way up the winding road to the school.

Unknown Area

Two men stood side by side in a dimly lit elevator as it descended downward.

"So MXVII. What caused you to take notice of my school?" came the curious voice of an elderly man.

"Your planet and the Dimensions surrounding it are quite fascinating. I'm quite interested in it. Especially in your school. Perhaps we can work something out?" came the interested voice of a young man.

"That we can" agreed the elderly man before the ding of the elevator sounded, coming to a stop.

And cut. There's the intro.
