Hey, guys! This is what I hoped happened in the last episode of Best Friends Whenever! Enjoy!!

Naldo's POV

"SHELBY!" Cyd yelled. Before she could chase after her best friend, who was on the back of and evil guy named Sebastian and about to go through a time rift, I grabbed onto her. I couldn't loose her. She struggled to let go but I was stronger than her. The rift closed and Shelby was gone. Barry, my best friend, ran to the girl he loved, Daisy, who was a princess from the 1500's. I could tell that Cyd was about to fall apart. She turned to look at me and I pulled her into a tight hug.

"We have to save her. Barry, get the laser." Cyd said when she pulled away. We made our way back to Shelby and Cyd's house in silence. When we got there Cyd kind of just stared at her house. I noticed and pulled her into a reassuring hug.

"I'll fix the laser." Barry told us as he walked into the lab.

"I can't go in there." It was the first thing Cyd had said in a while.

"Sure you can, you live there." Daisy commented

"Not without Shelby. It's almost curfew and they'd notice if she wasn't with me!" After a few seconds we came up with the idea to dress up Daisy.

Cyd's POV

"Hey, guys, the dance was great gonna go to bed, night!" I said to Bret and Chet while I pulled Daisy's face close to my stomach to hide her. We ran upstairs to think.

"What would you do if Shelby were here?" She asked. That started to get me thinking.

"Oooh! I think I have repelling gear in my zombie survival kit! Or maybe it's the vampire survival kit..." I said.

"Great! We can check both!" Daisy replied. We looked around for a few minutes and found the gear in my zombie kit. We got ou the window and saw Naldo and Barry looking through the window.

"Why are you guys being creepy?" I asked. They both screamed. "Shhh! It's late!" I said as I punched Naldo in the arm. He rubbed the spot I hit him. "Ok, we have to get back to the school! Barry, get the laser!"

"Sure, if I can't fix it in my lab I'll be able to on the G train!" Barry said sarcastically.

"Don't be silly, we're taking the Express! So, get a move on it!" I replied to him. We rode to school, halfway through the ride I noticed that Naldo and I were holding hands. He didn't seem to notice so I just let it be.

We got to the school but Barry couldn't fix the laser. I was getting worried.

"Cyd, whenever you talk about Shelby the rift grows!" Barry guessed. He tried to explain it with science terms, but I didn't understand.

"No, it's about the live between friends, like Cyd and Shelby, that can stretch years and tears away!" Naldo guessed. I looked at him and smiled.

"We get it, you're smart," I pointed to Barry, "you're sweet!"

"You think I'm sweet?" Naldo asked as he and I smiled at each other. Barry told me to talk about Shelbs so I did until the rift opened. I went in and beat up the guards with Shelby. We ran out of the rift and straight to our friends. We had a small hug before Sebastian and the guards came through.

"Now, we will rip you apart." Sebastian said to us.

"You can't attack us, we don't have swords!" Barry tried to get us out of this mess.

"No, you can't attack us." The evil guy said.

"He's got you there, Barry." Naldo added. Before we knew what was going on, I pushed Shelby out of the way and Sebastian came toward me.

"Don't hurt her!" Naldo yelled as he pushed Sebastian. He saved my life. The two struggled and I realized he dropped his sword. I picked it up and held it to him.

Sebastian kicked it out of my hand and then Daisy stepped forward.

"Leave them alone and I will marry you." Daisy said, letting go of Barry's hand. Sebastian grabbed her hand and ran through the rift with his guards, seconds later it closed. Barry stood there in silence.

We walked up and hugged him tightly, I felt the similar sensation of traveling when we hugged. We found ourselves in the tower when an old woman walked in.

"I traveled, I did it! Yay!" Barry was so excited.

"What are you doing? Are you going to the wedding?" The old woman asked us.

"The wedding hasn't happened yet!" I said the second I realized it. We all ran to where the woman directed us to see Daisy telling Sebastian, and her kingdom, that she rules on her own. We walked up and hugged her tightly. Barry told her he was proud of her and Daisy responded by kissing him. We promised to see her again and traveled home.

"So, are you and Naldo a thing now? 'Cause if you are I will totally support you!" Shelby told me.

"I hope so, Shelbs!" I said with a smile.

"Cyd?" I turned to see Naldo. Looking nervous.

"Yeah?" Before he spoke he pulled me in and kissed me. He pulled back and looked at me. He almost said something, but I kissed him.

Naldo's POV

She kissed me and I was happier than I ever felt before. I put my heart on the line seconds earlier and it paid off. We finally stopped kissing to breathe and we immediately heard Shelby.

"Oh my gosh! Cyd and Naldo!!" She ran and hugged us. "I'm so happy for you guys! You two are so cute!" I smiled, still with one arm around Cyd.

4 months later...

We were sitting in Daisy's bedroom talking. I had my hand intertwined with Cyd's and I couldn't help but smile.

"So, you guys are together?!" Daisy, who we hadn't seen since homecoming, asked. We looked at each other and nodded. Barry had her arm around Daisy. "Finally! You have no idea how much Naldo would talk about you. It was really obvious. And the way Cyd would flirt with you constantly, Naldo!" We were shocked, it was a complete surprise that Cyd liked me. I was still floating though.

"It's fine that we took our time to see the other's feelings." I said before pulling Cyd into a kiss. I loved her so much and this was everything that I wanted. I had the girl of my dreams, my best friends, and I could time travel.
