Chapter Uno (1): This Is The...

The show was getting ready to start.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Presenting...The Stranger Show!"

Everyone cheered. It was time.

How nervous had everyone been for this day.

After everything they've been through, this was...the grandest show yet.

"Eleven! Get up there! Boys! Be front and center! Nancy, Johnathan, Steve, be ready too. It's Show time!" Shouted the man.

Everything changed for everyone. Especially, Will, Eleven, and their parents.

Just in the years, Joyce was coming home with her friends Karen, Claudia, and Lonnie.

But coming home, she met Jim Hopper. His father was working for her parents for a short time before she would be sent away to boarding school.

While her parents didn't like him, she did. he was funny and knew just how to make her laugh.

"Joyce. You like him?" Karen asked.

"So? Maybe I do."

"Good for you. Better then Lonnie for sure." Claudia said.

"What? Lonnie? Were just friends." Joyce didn't understand.

Not at the time anyway.

"Jim right?" She asked.

"I'm Joyce. Nice to meet you." She said.

Jim nodded. "Nice to meet you. I shouldn't be talking to you." He said.

Joyce shook her head. "Forget about my parents. Come on. Let's find a place to talk." She offered. And this was the start of a happy long story.

Soon the two got closer over the years.

Karen met Ted Wheeler and Marsha Holland. Joyce thought Karen and Ted got along super well and soon became boyfriend in first year of middle school.

Lonnie was acting more strange then before. And they met Tom Holloway.

"My parents are leaving. You won't be seeing much of me anymore." Jim said one day.

"What? My parents fired yours? How could they? They have done such a wonderful job." Joyce didn't understand.

"It's alright. I'm going to go to school now. And I'll be coming back. You can count on it." Jim said.

"I hope so. Your...cool to hang out with." Joyce smiled.

And they went their separate ways. But only, for a few years.
