My final draft of the crossover. I finally got the game and progressed far enough to remember what the hell is going on.

Now the pairing is MOST LIKELY, not guaranteed, going to be an Aerith/Harry.

I also think I'm going to throw Luna in Clouds Corner, again, not guaranteed, mostly because I found the scenes where Aerith and Tifa seemed to fight for Cloud hilarious.

Hope you like the story.

Dont own Harry Potter or final fantasy in any form

Minerva sighed as she stared at the two worlds she was observing. She was directly connected to one, but due to her connection to the Cetra, she could see into another one. On one planet, she had Aerith. A sweet little girl who had only really just discovered her Heritage from her that Shinra Tseng. She had grown bitter and hated being a cetra. Shinra had been after her for years now, and she didn't want to be the last of her people.

Little did she know that the Ancient Cetra had split into 3 groups, the Cetra who had fought for Jenova, Aerith's ancestors who fought and defeated Jenova...and a third race who fled the world to get away from Jenova.

Luna and her mother were the only ones who remembered their roots, and the rest had settled into corruption and racism.

However what caught her attention was the newest connection. "Harry Potter." She mumbled as she used her connection to observe the boys life. "You could use a friend...and the knowledge of your heritage young Cetra." She drifted to the barrier that she had erected to stop the corrupted Cetra from the other world from returning to the life stream and all the sorrowful moaning stopped as she approached. Holding out her hand, "Potter." Four hands stretched out and grasped her arm, James, Liliana, and James Parents. "It seems you have begun the process of completeting an ancient prophecy of your homeworld. Welcome back to the lifestream."

A Slight green glow filled a cupboard under the stairs at number four private drive and a green drop began dripping into Harry's mouth, Harry's magic began thriving and healing his body and mind of all the scars and expelling the foreign soul within.

Harry found himself floating through darkness, his uncle had beaten him for Dudley throwing a tantrum for not getting enough presents on his birthday, he had shoved Harry's face onto the burner of the stove and Harry had knocked the pan of Sausage onto the ground. The grease had burned Dudley and Harry had naturally been blamed.

Suddenly green streams began flowing around him and Harry found himself in a field of flowers. "Who are you?"

Harry turned and found a girl around his age, she had emerald eyes like him and brunette hair. "Harry. Harry Potter. Where are we? Who are you?"

The girl tilted her head, "I'm Aerith. And I don't know."

"You're in the livestream Aerith." Three women approached. One looked like an older Aerith. The other had flaming red hair.

Aerith frowned. "Why am I here? I don't want to be here."

The other woman Harry could only describe as not human, "I know Aerith...that's why I've brought you here. To show you that you aren't alone. Harry here is a Cetra too...albeit his ancestors fled from Jenova instead of fighting like yours."

Aerith's eyes sparkled, "I'm not the last one?" Her smile lite up the world.

"No my dear. Our people had been split into three when Jenova showed up. Harry's ancestors opened a portal to another world to get away from the danger, our ancestors fought and sealed away Jenova. While the final third of our people fought with Jenova."

"Who are you?" Aerith asked.

"I'm your birth mother love." She smiled.

Harry stared at the red headed woman with the same eyes as him in wonder, "your my mum! I found a picture of you and aunt Petunia when you were kids."

Lily smiled and sat down next to her son, "my sweet baby. You've lived a horrid life because of my sister."

After that day every time Harry went to sleep he got to play with Aerith and meet both of his parents. Both Aerith and Harry has learned of their ancient roots and the abilities they had to an extent. Every night the two would talk while Minerva heals his bodies wounds from the day and nursing his fragile body back to health. Until they both reached the age of 11, and Harry was reintroduced to the corrupted cetra's world.

Those years were bad for both, Harry living through it, and Aerith not being able to help her friend. The first came when she was about to turn 12

"Just give me the stone!" The face in the back of Quirells head shouted. However Harry was not listening as he stared at the red stone in his hand.

Voldemorts eyes grew as the boy pushed his magic into the stone and it began glowing. A massive Phoenix burst forth from the stone and Harry Collapsed.

The Phoenix nuzzled its head Into the young Cetra, eons of never being awoken due to the Cetra losing who they were and now one who remembered who they were came along, she would help him find his way home like she had been tasked. Raising her wings the man shrouded in darkness began burning away.

Black mist rose from the ashes and Voldemort glared at the boy who was barely conscious as the Phoenix faded into orange lights, the stone changing into a perfect sphere and seemingly vanishing.

With a howl Harry screamed and the black mist phased through his body and Harry lost consciousness.

Aerith frowned at that, Harry had found a summoning Materia somehow. She had to help him. Running into town she began to collect materials for him.

After that the rest of the school year passed for Harry fairly fast, unfortunately his friends had begun distancing themselves from him. Hermione decided that she wanted to concentrate more on her school work, and Ron blamed him for getting hurt in the chess game, even though he had only fainted and hadn't really been hurt.

At least he had Aerith.

Aerith frowned at the next year of Harry's school. It had started on his birthday when she had managed to give him his brand new staff she had created.

"Happy birthday Harrry!" Aerith smiled as she saw Harry appear in the lifestream. Her frown fell quickly as she saw the bruises and how skinny he was. "Your relatives are truly horrid Harry."

That year Harry had been a part of an attack on the school, as she watched Harry fight the giant snake she had the distinct feeling that it wasn't a natural monster.

Harry ran from the giant snake that the ghost of Riddle had set on him, when he saw a glowing stone that reminded him of the glow from the philosopher's stone that he had embedded into the holes in the grips of the staff Aerith had given him. Reaching out he grabbed the green stone and felt a rush of power within him.

Within his mind he felt that heat again and Harry instinctively pushed his magic into the philosopher's stone and he watched amazed as the giant Phoenix burst forth from a ball of light. Swinging his staff Harry pushed more of his magic though the metal and stared amazed as a ball of magic launched from the tip of the end of the staff, the Phoenix gouged one of its eyes and the magic Harry launched went down its throat as it cried in pain, the snake burst into a shower of light and the stone he had began glowing. The Phoenix floated up and Harry stared around as fire began swirling around them, the diary sitting on the ground next to his new Slytherin friends bursting into flames.

Harry ran towards Daphne and Tracey and knelt down next to Daphne, "are you guys ok?!"

Daphne stared in amazement at Harry, "you summoned that Phoenix out of nowhere...that's a lost magic."

Harry helped Tracey sit up, "no, a friend of mine told me that summoning like that brings forth the creatures from magic items like these." He held up the sphere in his hand. "That wasn't even really a basilisk, it was a summon."

Daphne and Tracey stared at him, "teach us."

Harry smiled.

After that Aerith made even more friends, Harry had helped Daphne and Tracey learn of the ancient roots of the Cetra, and a younger girl named Luna joined in too after that year when she saw the materia Harry carried around in his staff. She had always known about the Cetra and never knew anyone else knew of their forgotten home.

That year Aerith was filled with happiness, when she had learned of her heritage she had denied and hated it. Then when she had accepted it she was filled with loneliness and felt the pressure as the last of her people. But now through her best friend Harry, she was meeting her people again, making friends.

The next year was hard for Aerith to watch, Harry had discovered the existence of his Godfather, and the fact that his former best friends pet rat was an animagus of the man who had betrayed their family.

She stared in amazement as Harry produced a piece of magic her people had made in their time of that world, a patronus.

Harry covered his godfather and the betrayer of his parents after they had collapsed due to dementor exposure. He couldn't allow them to die like this. Sirius was one of his last living (outside of the lifesteam) link to his parents, and the only way to free him was for bring in Pettigrew. Closing his eyes, pushing the despair the whole horde was pushing in on him...he brought up his memories of his time in the lifestream with Aerith and his parents.

Sirius's eyes widened from the ground as his godson began glowing in an ethereal green. His eyes shining he shouted out "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" A glowing shape burst from the staff he always kept strapped into his back and his last sight while conscious was the white magic taking the shape of a young woman around Harry's age. Waves of magic erupting from the magical construct and forcing the hundreds of Dementors.

"Harry!" Three girls came rushing down the path as Harry fell to a knee breathing hard.

That summer was a good one, a woman named Amelia had identified Pettigrew, who was questioned and then after Sirius was freed Harry helped Sirius and Remus's consciousness into the lifestream, reuniting the three best friends since James and Lily had returned to the life stream.

The only downside was when Lucius Malfoy attacked the Aurors guarding Pettigrew and both fled the ministry.

After that things seemed to calm down for Harry, his relatives began fearing Harry more than hating him. His ex convict godfather, mixed with the fact that he had not really ever needed the wand he bought in first year and therefore never set off the trace stopped them from mistreating him. Even the his fat cousin seemed to flee from Harry due to the permanent glow in his eyes now.

Though once school started Aerith felt her first experience with jealousy. Harry had begun that year normally, but once a barbaric ancient tournament came back introduced him to an older blonde girl named Fleur. Though they didn't last past that year Aerith was jealous of another girl taking Harry away.

Then the bastard who had killed his parents came back.

The crowds watched the new screens anxiously as the four champions competed throughout the maze. They gasped as Harry Potter revealed that the Drumstrang champion had been under the Imperious.

Then everything changed as the port key took them to a graveyard.

"Kill the spare!" A green flash came and Harry growled, stretching out his hand and a gust of wind pushed Cedric back and caused the boy to land on the cup, disappearing in a flash of blue.

Harry turned and scowled at the two figures standing across from him. "Wormtail, Malfoy...how's life on the run?"

Lucius scowled, "none of your business Potter. Your going to help resurrect the dark lord." He waved his wand and a red spell rushed towards the boy. However to his surprise Potter merely bat it aside and returned with his own stunner, one that launched from all five fingers. The battle was long and fought out, but unfortunately Harry had forgotten the baby thing left behind as he fought off the other two death eaters. A red flash from it and Harry collapsed.

"Lucius. Prepare the ritual." A hoarse voice sounded.

Harry woke to a sharp pain in his arm as Lucius drew a blade across his arm to draw blood. Unfortunately for him, Harry's years of being introduced to pure Mako had caused magical energy to curse through his veins like none other, so the dark enchantments were instantly obliterated the moment the blade touched his blood.

Lucius scowled and grabbed Wormtail, who was bleeding out on the ground. "I don't believe for one second you are loyal to the dark lord. If I can't use the half bloods blood, yours will do." He dragged his wand over Wormtails neck and couldn't hold back the smirk as Wormtail died, his blood leaking out of his throat.

The cauldron burst and a tall pale man with a snake like face rose, the smoke from the explosion draped over the figure, forming robes. "My wand Lucius." The man kneeled and presented the wand wand to his master. "Tell me. Why did you think Wormtails pathetic blood would work Lucius." He hissed out.

"My lord...the moment the blade touched the boys blood it burst. It was the only option I had."

"Crucio!" Lucius collapsed and screamed. "Though it was your only option, do not even think that you could make such a discussion for me." He placed a finger to the man's arm, which seemed to increase the pain he was feeling as it was.

After a few seconds about a dozen cloaked figures arrived. "Welcome my friends. 13 years it's been. And I find myself...disappointed. not one of you even attempted to find me."

Harry began working his hand around as Voldemort was naming each of his death eaters and punishing them. He smirked, clearly the dumbass didn't know this was being broadcast around the world. Closing his eyes he called to Minerva, and a stream of green energy began to leak from the gravestone he was strapped to. It burned through the magic binds around him. He collapsed and held out his hands as the mako condensed into his hand and Harry smirked. He through the orb prematurely and hid behind the gravestone.

He wasn't disappointed as the unfinished mako backfired and exploded. While most were still standing, some were not. "You're and old enough boy now Tom...you really shouldn't have turned your back on me."

Red eyes flashed in anger, "while I do not mind you destroying my father's grave Potter, I would prefer you not call me that."

Harry waved off the barely concealed threat to him, "I've spent the last year dating a french witch Tom. I sure as hell am not going to call you 'flight from death.'

"Avada Kedavra!" He screamed. He had already established his name to the world by the time he had learned that it had an English translation from French.

The duel that conducted destroyed the whole graveyard and Harry was growing tired. He had never channeled so much magic before. Stomping his foot a bright green light erupted blinding the dark lord, and by the time he could see again, the boy stuck his tongue out at him as the night bus vanished with a crack.

Aerith was proud of her friend when he had escaped, when he had gotten back to Hogwarts he recieced a healthy dose of awe and fear, but he hadn't been awake long enough to care.

The next few years was a war for Harry. Three different sides had attempted to pull his loyalty. Including his headmaster, but Harry had formed a fourth part to the war. With the Greengrass backing he lead the grey factions to war.

Where Dumbledore's side was losing because they did nothing but capture and imprison, which was broken within a week, the grey side fought to kill. He had decided that if pureblood supremacy was the problem, then the purebloods needed to be reduced to the point that they could not possibly continue to exist because of imbreeding.

Then this last year Aerith ran into a side alleyway as she heard the mako call out to her. As she stared at the mako she watched as Harry stood toe to toe with his parents murders.

Everyone stopped fighting as they felt a massive magic wash over them, up on the hill two figures were in a fight for their life, one was none other than Harry Potter. The only wizard to be strong enough to use magic without the aid of a wand, and on the other was Voldemort, who could do a limited amount of wandless magic, but because he mutilated his soul he lost that ability.

Curses were flying left and right, Harry's glowing green eyes glared at the man who had ruined his life, "it's over Tom...your Horcrux are all gone."

Tom Marvolo Riddle snarled, "you're a fool Harry Potter. I will RIP everything you love from your life!"

Storm clouds began swirling and thunder rang in the distance, "physically yes...I wouldn't doubt it, but I've learned of certain secrets to our magical heritage...it isn't from this world. People like you Tom, were never supposed to have magic. It is a sacred gift from the planet." The clouds above Harry began to glow a green color. White sparks began emitting from Harry's body. "I call upon the magic of the planet. Give me strength." Harry's glowing eyes opened again,

thundaga.

Lightning began raining down on Voldemort and he screamed in agony as his body began to fall apart. When everyone could see again Nothing remained of the dark lord but a pile of Ashes. Cheers rang through the gathered warriors, Harry just smiled at the green glow that had arose. "Yes, I do hear you..."

'It is time for you to return home...' a voice sounded that only a few could hear.

"Harry! You did it." A brunette girl with bushy hair ran up, "Harry?"

Harry's eyes hadn't stopped glowing like they usually would. "Daph...it is opening. The ancients gateway." He turned to the assembled group. All of them looked confused, well, all but Luna, Tracey, and Daphne.

"I see you found Mummy's journal Harry." Luna said, for once the dreamy tone nowhere in her voice. "Minerva calls to you doesn't she?"

Harry turned to the girl, a girl that everyone shunned and bullied for being different. Raising his hand he smiled. "She calls all true Cetra."

Luna looked sadly at the fallen form of her father. She was so proud of him, he came and fought alongside her and everyone else. "Daddy did say that those with the name Lovegood would one day return home...I think I'll follow his advice." She took his hand and Harry turned to his other friends.

Both of whom shook their heads, "sorry Harry...our adventurous days are over. Our lives are here, just keep in touch yea?" Harry just smiled at the two Sytherins and was encased in a green light so bright everyone had to avert their eyes.

When the light cleared Luna Lovegood and Harry Potter were gone, the only trace of them ever being their was two wands left to the side, one snapped in half.

Hermione gulped, her voice carried on to the whole grounds due to the silence, "did he say Cetra?"

Aerith snapped out of the vision and stood up, running out of the alleyway she looked up and smiled as clouds above Midgar were swirling with Mako glow, and two bolts of green lighting fell to the earth. "Harry..."

Harry and Luna were separated the moment they entered the new world, the magic swirling around them so powerfully that it flung Luna away from Harry. The last thing Harry saw was the green mako energy swirling infront of him as he fell into what was seemingly a chimney stack for Mako.
