...We are haunted by the things we refuse to accept and are frightened of what makes us different...

Ingrid Mikaelson is the black sheep of the family, next to her twin brother Niklaus Mikaelson. She is the daughter of a powerful witch, Esther, and a Prideful Viking Warrior, Mikael. From a young age, Ingrid was treated as a monster, for she has no magic but had to suck it from other magical beings. Her mother, who was a traditional witch, absolutely despised her daughter for it, as she believed in the balance of nature. And once Esther got to know Ingrid is anything but normal, she was treated as an abomination.

Nevertheless, it didn't end with that. When the blue-eyed Ingrid turned two years old, she was ordered to stay away from her little brother Kol when she accidentally siphoned his magic, hurting the newborn babe in the process. The remaining family followed their mother's lead and stayed away from her. And it really pained the honey blonde girl when she was shunned by her own twin. But Ingrid understood. Niklaus was already standing on a thin ground with their father, Mikael, and she knew her twin would do anything to get away from his wrath, even if it means abandoning his twin sister.

However, she was always jealous of her younger sister Rebekah, who got all the love a daughter should get. To think Ingrid would have got the same treatment as her sister was just that...a dream. The only female company, the girl ever had was, the Bennett witch next door, Ayana, who even though scorned the girl's abnormality, helped her with any problems she had as a girl while growing up.

Ingrid's already dreadful life spiraled out of control when her parents decided to turn a whole lot of her siblings into blood-sucking monsters after little Henrik got killed by one of the transformed werewolves. Ingrid, for the life of her, still couldn't understand to this day on why her parents decided to turn her into an immortal along with her siblings when they treated her like a waste of space throughout her life.

Things went south when Niklaus, driven by his blood lust, made his first kill, activating his werewolf gene, thus revealing their mother infidelity with the local Werewolf Alpha. And when Ingrid saw their father restraining her twin, with the help of her older brother, Elijah, as their mother cursed Niklaus's werewolf side to lie dormant, Ingrid did the only thing she could think of...she ran. She ran before she got cursed or worse murdered by her father. She fled before her mother decided to kill her for still possessing her gift to do magic when her little brother Kol couldn't.

The Original Vampire fled from one town to another, never staying in one place for too long. She fed on people along the countryside but was careful to hide the bodies, and not leaving any traces behind. She still remembered the first time she turned into a werewolf, the monster that killed her little brother Henrik. She felt every bone in her body breaking. She felt the unbearable pain that came with it. Ingrid dreaded for the same thing to happen the next full moon, but when nothing happened then, nor the following full moon, and so, the Original came to a conclusion that as a tribrid or much less as a hybrid, she can turn at her own will.

And so, she led her immortal life, learning something new about herself each day while keeping an eye on the whereabouts of her siblings and her bloodthirsty father. She learned that along with heightened strength, agility, and speed, her blood can heal people, and that, when someone dies with her blood in their system, they will turn like her. Of course, Ingrid killed the one she turned as soon as she realized it. She drove a wooden stake through his heart, desiccating him. The only remarkable thing Ingrid learned from her family is to never trust anyone to have your back. Everyone leaves or turn their back on us in the end, one way or another.

The Orginal Tribrid also learned that she has an endless source of magic to siphon due to her vampire and werewolf's side, which are both a result of magic. Ingrid ascertained that she truly is an abomination of nature. And due to the same fact, she has a lot of witches on her back that want her dead. Moreover, due to the many attempts on her life, Ingrid discovered quite a few things about herself, throughout the centuries.

That, even if the amulet her mother made for the siblings to protect from harms of the sun is removed, Ingrid would still remain unaffected...for the sun won't affect a hybrid, much less a tribrid like herself. Ingrid found that the sun isn't fatal to her, like other vampires sired by her siblings, nor it is fatal to her estranged siblings, as they would come back to life once the sun sets in. The tribrid also discovered that she can not only compel humans but also vampires as she is the first of their kind.

Ingrid found that a normal wooden stake to the heat won't kill her but impales her for a long time, just as a large amount of vervain. The Mikaelson Sibling, for a fact, knew the white oak tree that her siblings burned to the ground after their turning was the only thing that can truly kill her. Not a silver dagger forged by witches, decapitation, desiccation, Fire, Heart extraction, or a werewolf bite would do her any fatal injury. Ingrid Mikaelson realized that she truly is immortal.

With the new information in hand, Ingrid lived her life, learning about different cultures, creatures, and spells. She kept an eye on her siblings throughout the years, but nonetheless, stayed far away from them. She has truly come to enjoy her life at that point. But everything fell apart when the Original Tribid was just shy of her 628th year of immortal life. Ingrid let her guard down, and as a result, she was lured and got captured by a Coven who was in desperate need of ending a sentient called Malivore.

Malivore was a golem that was created by an Ancient Witch, Ancient Vampire, and Ancient Werewolf. It was created to kill the creatures like supernatural creatures like dragons, and humans, except for the original three species that helped in its creation. But, as time went on, Malivore developed a mind of his own and made a deal with humans. The Golem was set free to wander on earth, to consume, and erase the memory of the monsters ever existed. And when the coven, who are descendants of the Ancient witch that helped in the creation, realized the Malivore was coming for them next, they decided to end the Malivore with its only weakness - the blood of the Tribrid.

And, so, the witch coven with the help of local vampires and werewolves captured the only Tribrid that ever to walk on earth and offered her to the Immortal Golem, which is also known as Eater of the Dark. Nevertheless, Ingrid's flesh and blood didn't destroy the sentient completely. It just served them in dissolving the Malivore, by returning him into its natural state - a black pit. It might be because Ingrid was not a natural witch, or it might be some other different loophole. And the fact that Malivore erases the memories of the creature it absorbs resulted in erasing all traces of, Ingrid Mikaelson, from everyone's memories. So, all everyone ever knew was something put a stop to the Malivore, and to trap him in the same state, the witches used black magic and three ancient artifacts as locks, to keep the Malivore unbound.

Yet, what everyone didn't know was that Malivore created a portal and exiled the only weakness he ever knew to an entirely different world, where there is no such thing as vampires or any other supernatural creatures for that matter.

OR IN WHICH

Ingrid Mikaelson, the original tribrid, after being consumed by the Malivore, finds herself in a strange new world where Superheroes and Nose Gods are a thing.
