Last time, after escaping from the Autobots' retaking of the Rescue Bot Training Center, C.Y.L.A.S. fled and drives far away through the misty Maine fog when he sees a tall figure on the road ahead. He brakes and transforms into robot mode to face the stranger. "Who are you? Get out of my way before I make you." C.Y.L.A.S. threatened the figure. The stranger fans the fog away and reveals himself to be Lockdown. "I see you lost an outpost. What a shame." Lockdown told C.Y.L.A.S.

"What do you want, Lockdown?" C.Y.L.A.S. asked. "Those humans, the ones that call themselves The Voyagers, I have encountered them before. It can't be a coincidence that they are here as well." Lockdown said. "Who is even sending you these scavenging tips?" C.Y.L.A.S. wondered. "I am unsure, but I will find them, and make them bleed every quart of information they have." Lockdown said. "Speaking of whom, I received another tip from them that leads us to New York. Bring the good doctor with you… both of them." Lockdown said before transforming and speeding away.

Some days later at the Hub Dome in Ooo, Simon and his virtual friend Alvin were visiting their friend Theodore in a room similar to a patient's room in a hospital. Theodore was found in The Voyagers' last mission to Griffin Rock where he was recovered from a malfunctioned cryostasis chamber, causing his skin to become green and covered in boils. He was barely awake as his eyes were half-open and his mouth was agape and drooling as he lied idly on the bed. "Can't believe we're all here. The Chipmunks a thousand years later." Al said as he looked over Theodore in his hologram screen form. "Fate's weird like that." Simon said.

"He say anything since you guys found him?" Al asked Simon. "He would just mutter random food names. It's like all he's thinking about is food." Simon said. "How's your treasure hunt going?" Al asked Simon. "We found another lead, but it was with Theo inside his pod. Nobody has been in the fallout shelter for centuries, judging by carbon dating on the rock formations that partially sealed the blast doors." Simon said. "Maybe someone, like, ghosted or noclipped through the walls." Al suggested.

"That tech was sealed in the fallout shelter as well." Simon said. "I was joking! You're telling me that tech's real?" Al asked Simon in disbelief. A Minervabot entered the room and faced Simon. "I've gotta go. Probably another mission." Simon told Al. "Go do what you gotta do. Make sure to bring back a souvenir!" Al said as Simon and the Minervabot left the room.

He is led to The Voyagers' ready room on the third floor of the Hub Dome where Finn, Jake, Chad and Seamus were waiting in front of Minerva's display screen. "Mister Petrikov, you're just in time for the riddle." Minerva said. "Well, don't keep us in suspense. Read it!" Jake hurried Minerva.

For your final destination, you shall go

It is a place that has been abandoned long ago

A place when reached there

One can make it anywhere

Only after you vanquish those who invade

You shall embark on a journey through the decade

"…One can make it anywhere… I think it's talking about New York." Simon deduced. "It sounds like someone's taken over this New York City." Finn said.

"Looks like we'll have to do some more pummelling!" Jake said excitedly. "Your mission is to defeat these invaders and locate the sender of these riddles." Minerva told The Voyagers. "Yes, ma'am!" "Yes, mom!" The Voyagers acknowledged. "You'll be deploying from Ursa Kildare. I have already mapped a course to the city." Minerva informed the team before they leave through the elevator. "If this place is 'new', what happened to old York?" Seamus wondered as they descended.

Soon, The Voyagers emerge through a groundbridge in the east coast of North America on Ursa Kildare. Everyone in the team was gathered at the deck, including Springer, Backfire, and Fallback, but Elisa is absent again. "Here we are; New York City. It's always been the centre of battles and invasions in a lot of movies I've seen. The Avengers, Men in Black, GoBots: Deep Space, New York's been beaten harder than almost any other American city in fiction… other than L.A." Simon said as he looked to the city. "You should suggest a movie for Movie Club next week. The Hub Dome's archives are full of old movies." Finn told Simon. "Let's make sure we're all alive by the end of this." Backfire said.

They soon hear a blaring horn from another ship and soon find themselves surrounded by patrol boats. "This is the United States Secret Service! New York City is under lockdown by the order of the President of the United States! Turn around and leave!" a man's voice blared from one of the boats. "There's still a President in this day and age?" Simon wondered. "We're here to help! We're The Voyagers, and we're with the Autobots! Heard of them?" Finn yelled to them. "What?!" the guard's voice blared as he didn't hear Finn.

A Minervabot passes Finn a microphone connected to the ship's audio systems. "We're here to help! We have Autobots who can help with whatever's invading!" Finn yelled again. "Autobots?" the guard repeated. Springer, Backfire and Fallback walk to the stern of the ship to face the coast guards. "We've been waiting for backup. Follow us!" the voice told The Voyagers before the fleet goes towards the city.

Ursa Kildare follows the fleet to one of the islands northwest of them to a military camp overlooking the bottom half of the Statue of Liberty. The Voyagers disembark from the ship and are met by Secret Service agents wearing black suits with sunglasses and body armour accompanying an Asian woman with brunette hair in a bun and wearing a lavender pantsuit under body armour. "Hello, I am Vice President Alexandrea Thi Dang. Please follow me, the President is expecting you." Alexandra told The Voyagers. The Voyagers follow her cautiously as the larger Autobots followed behind them. "Excuse me, but are you guys really from what's left of the government? Why are you here and not in Washington?" Simon asked Alexa.

"Please save all questions for the President." Alexa responded. She leads them to a larger tent where Secret Service agents let them through while the Autobots are left outside. Inside, The Voyagers see a middle-aged African-American woman wearing a black pantsuit talking to a high-ranking Secret Service agent, who turns her attention to The Voyagers. "We'll talk later." the woman said to the agent before he leaves the tent. "Excuse me, are you the President?" Simon asked the woman.

"Indeed I am. My name Wilma Lincoln, and you may refer to me as President Lincoln or Miss President." the woman introduced herself. "Hello, President Lincoln. I'm Finn, and this is Jake; we're the leaders of this team. Simon's the smart one in black, Chad's the smart one in white, and Seamus is the one at the back." Finn introduced his team. "So you're this famous globetrotting team helping people across the world. I've heard about you Voyagers from Sumdac, and I'm real impressed with what you're doing." The President complimented the team. "What are you doing here? More importantly, how is there still a President when the country lost its infrastructure?" Simon asked. "You sure ask a lotta questions, even for someone who just got here." The President said.

"So, are you still in charge of this rock we're standing on?" Jake asked. "Ugh, another talking dog." Alexandra said dismissively. "Hush, Vice." The President scolded Alexandra. "To answer your question, not exactly. I assume you all know about the war that caused all this. After the world fell apart, including the government, Congress and whatever's left of the White House do this thing where we help folks all over the country with stuff. The President is just a title for tradition sake, but I still run everything we do." The President answered. "So, what about elections?" Simon asked.

"*SIGH* Let's get to the point: we need help. There are insurgents who have taken over the Manhattan area. They use giant robots to patrol the streets and deal with anyone who gets in their way. They've holed themselves up in a place called the MetLife Building." The President told The Voyagers. "Do they transform into green cars and flying metal shards?" Chad asked. "Yeah, how'd you know?" The President asked. "We've encountered them before. They're called M.E.C.H., and they've been around forever, even before the war." Finn said. "If that's the case, then they're good at keeping themselves hidden because I've never heard of them until today." The President said.

"Do you know what they're here for?" Finn asked. "No clue. They just showed up and drove out what little population was left to the surrounding boroughs. We've been monitoring their activity and put preventative measures to keep them in Manhattan and anyone else out." The President explained. "Well, you're in luck, because we're gonna help you guys beat M.E.C.H. into next week!" Finn assured The President. "We appreciate the help. I saw your three big friends getting off that ship of yours. I doubt those three can take on the hundreds we've seen, but I sure would love to see them try." The President said. "Miss President, you can't just trust these people immediately. Their leader is a literal child!" Alexandra objected.

"Hush, Vice. I trust Sumdac's words, which means I trust these people." The President said. "Thank you, Miss President. We won't let you down." Finn said. "You better not. I'll have my agents accompany you to Manhattan. I expect you to leave as soon as possible. Dismissed." The President said. The Voyagers leave the tent and are escorted back to Ursa Kildare. "So, what's going on?" Fallback asked the team as they walk.

"It's M.E.C.H., those cyborg guys back in Maine. They've taken over some place called Manhattan and we need to bust their tailpipes again." Jake said. "They must be the invaders mentioned in the riddle." Finn said. "How is it that we find Transformer-related danger throughout this crusade, danger that happens to want what we want." Jake wondered. "I do find it strange. It's as if they're after what we're after, or we've been led into trap after trap." Chad said. "If that's the case, I wanna punch whoever's sending these riddles in the face." Seamus said in frustration.

The Voyagers soon embark on Ursa Kildare to Manhattan alongside Secret Service agents and black S.U.V.s on board. "Jake, do you think that President lady's related to Abraham Lincoln? Y'know, the former King of Mars?" Finn conversed with Jake. "Probably. I never knew he lived on Earth." Jake answered. "We're here!" Springer yelled as the ship approaches land. They soon reach a dock where they disembark with weapons out, in case they meet any M.E.C.H. troops.

"The MetLife Building is east of where we are." Simon told The Voyagers. "We travel by ground on Fallback, Backfire, with Springer providing air support. Those Secret Service guys are gonna follow us in their S.U.V.'s, I guess." Simon added. "Let's roll out!" Fallback declared. The Autobots transform into their vehicle modes with Springer taking off and following behind them. The Secret Service agents follow behind them in their S.U.V.s as they drive down the road east.

"So far so good. No doubt we're going to run into those M.E.C.H. guys eventually." Seamus said. The road ahead suddenly explodes ahead of them, causing the team to stop in their tracks. "Right on schedule." Seamus said casually. "Let's move!" Finn rallied his team. Emerging through the fires are not M.E.C.H. troops, but instead three of Lockdown's drones.

"Lockdown's here too?" Jake said in surprise. The Secret Service Agents leave their vehicles as The Voyagers run into action. "Let's get it on!" Finn yelled excitedly.
